Foreo Blackhead Pore Vacuum
I’ve been seeing the Foreo Blackhead Pore Vacuum all over TikTok, and I must admit, I was intrigued. Pore vacuums have always intrigued me, but I’ve been cautious about using them due to the potential damage they can cause to the skin. However, this particular product caught my attention because it claims to have different suction strengths and can not only remove blackheads but also prevent future breakouts.
One of the features that caught my eye is the presence of a blue LED in the tip of the vacuum. Apparently, this LED can help reduce pore size by extracting all the gunk that’s clogging them. I must say, it sounds fascinating.
Another aspect that I appreciate about this product is the detachable screw-off head. It makes the cleaning process much easier. You can simply remove the head and use a cotton bud to get rid of all the gunk that has been sucked into it. Additionally, I discovered that you can purchase different size heads for the vacuum, which adds to its versatility.
Before diving into my experience with this product, let me just quickly tie up my hair. It’s important to have a clear and unobstructed view while using the pore vacuum, so let’s get my hair out of the way.
The Experience
Okay, now that my hair is secure, let’s start using the Foreo Blackhead Pore Vacuum. I must confess, I am a little apprehensive. Part of me is excited to see if it lives up to the hype, but the other part of me is worried about the potential irritation it may cause.
As I turn on the vacuum, I notice that it offers different suction strengths, which is impressive. I start off with the gentlest setting to test the waters. Slowly, I glide the vacuum across my problem areas, hoping to see some visible improvement.
The suction is surprisingly gentle, much to my relief. I expected it to be more intense, given the horror stories I’ve heard. I continue using it on different areas of my face, paying extra attention to my nose, where most of my blackheads reside.
After a few minutes of vacuuming, I inspect the tip, and to my surprise, I can see a noticeable amount of gunk that has been extracted from my pores. It’s both satisfying and horrifying at the same time.
Testing the Exfoliating Velcro Pads
With my little velcro pads, I decided to put them to the test. Since I exfoliate regularly, I wasn’t expecting too much action. However, I was intrigued by the little blue LED that came with it. To begin, I decided to try it on the inside of my arm. Surprisingly, the first level felt comfortable, but I wanted to go a step further and try level 5. I must say, it still felt comfortable, but the rest of the levels seemed a bit too soft for my liking. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot.
The Technique and Observations
Moving the velcro pad constantly was crucial to avoid any potential bruising. What I appreciate about this product is that you don’t need to use any oils or slippery substances. It’s made of stainless steel, so it effortlessly glides across your skin. However, I must admit that I’m not entirely convinced if it’s actually doing anything. Despite my skepticism, I continued using it.
The Swiping Experiment
With a more determined swipe, I finally felt like something was happening. The suction power of the velcro pad was impressive, especially considering how well it worked on my skin. However, the true test was whether it could unclog those pesky pores on my nose. Given the size of my nose, I suspected I would need the smaller tip to reach the crevices and achieve optimal suction. I continued the experiment, noting that my skin started to show small white particles. I couldn’t help but wonder if this was dead skin or bits of clogged pores.
The Final
After all the testing, the question remains: did it make a difference? Honestly, I can’t say for sure. Unfortunately, my lack of movement during the suction left me with a red and raw patch on my skin. Ultimately, only time will tell if the exfoliating velcro pads truly have an impact on my skin.
Reviewing the Foreo Pore Cleansing Device
As quick as I could have done, I decided to give the Foreo pore cleansing device a try. There are a few white heady bits that I’m not even sure if you can see. So, while I guess it did some work on my pores, I can’t say for certain. I exfoliate my skin pretty regularly, so I didn’t notice a significant difference with this device.
Price and Value
The Foreo pore cleansing device costs a hundred pounds, which seems quite expensive to me. Personally, I think you can find cheaper manual setting pore vacuums on platforms like Amazon. However, it’s worth mentioning that Foreo tends to include fancy features like LED lights to justify the higher price tag.
My Experience with Foreo Luna
What I will say is that I absolutely love my Foreo Luna. I’ve had it for about three years and I’ve only had to charge it twice during that time. These devices are built to last, which is impressive. However, I don’t think the pore cleansing device is a must-have. If you maintain a good exfoliation routine, along with using nose pore strips and proper aftercare, you won’t be missing out by not purchasing it.
The AliExpress Experience
Recently, I came across a product on TikTok shop and felt compelled to try it. I bought it and eagerly awaited its arrival. However, when it finally arrived, something about it screamed AliExpress to me. Now, I’m not saying that TikTok shop and Temu are the same as AliExpress, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that this product might not be genuine. It reminded me of some of the fake products I had previously bought from Temu.
Overall, my experience with these viral beauty products has left me feeling a bit perplexed. While some have been interesting to try, I haven’t seen groundbreaking results. It’s important to approach these products with caution and do thorough research before making a purchase.
Reviewing Temu Skincare Product: Sea Grapes Moisturizer
They are also available on TikTok shop.. So please be careful when buying skincare from TikTok shop.
The one TikTok that I did find of this. They bought this product from Temu. So yeah I’m going to be trying a Temu skincare product on my skin.
Examining the Ingredient List
So I downloaded Temu and I actually managed to find its listings and the ingredient list. And really looking at the ingredient list here. There’s. Nothing inherently bad about it.
The product highlights its sea grapes as one of the main ingredients, and it is in fact the first ingredient, which is known to help moisturize the skin and generally make it feel nice and smooth as well. I’m not sure. I trust this ingredient list because there is a very obvious perfume smell and this ingredient list seems to fail to include any kind of perfume.
Unboxing and Initial Impressions
Okay. So here we have it., It looks very, very pretty. So you get a little spoon. It looks extremely fancy. Sounds like cheap plastic. Because it is. But look at this. Its almost like caviar beads. That is fun.
The Application Process
Does it smell Okay, it smells fragrant, but nothing. Unlike a moisturizer. I’m a little unsure how I’m going to use these. Do they pop? They feel really weird. They’re, really slimy. I just tried to pop one. Okay, they pop super easily.
So what I think I’m going to do is put it in the middle of my hand. That doesn’t look very nice at all. That doesn’t look good at all.
WEIRD AF *Viral* Beauty Products: Green Jelly Moisturizer Balls
Okay. No. This is going to be an absolute mess. This is going to be a mess. Ooh. Oooooooh. It doesn’t feel bad on the skin at all. I feel like it’s just like a jelly moisturizer made into these little green balls that then, just once popped spread on your skin.
Its not bad. My face isn’t going red. My face isn’t burning off. It smells like Nivea, you know that blue one, this one. Is my face going red? I think that’s just where I’ve been touching it.
It does have a sliminess to it. Very reminiscent of what this looks like. They’re almost actually soaked in something. So I think they’re just like maybe soaked in like a moisturizing serum type thing. There’s definitely like an after slimy residue that I’m not overly happy with, that I think won’t sit well with, like, sunscreen for example.
It feels nasty on the skin. Like it’s not nice. At all. And it’s all, like, residuey on my hands. And there’s a huge cleanup job.
This isn’t practical. Who wants to do this every morning? I don’t think it’s worth the fuss, to be honest, with you.
WEIRD AF *Viral* Beauty Products: Soothe & Refreshing Skin Crystal Jelly Mask
Let’s move on to the modeling mask. Well, they call this a Soothe & Refreshing Skin Crystal Jelly Mask. Now, I mainly see estheticians use this, and it’s been a few years since I used one myself. I know these as modeling masks from the world of K-beauty. And when I was extra oily.
This mask is cooling on the skin, and it gives this really nice, um, yeah, crystal-like texture. But it does feel like your skin is suffocating underneath it a little bit. And I don’t love the texture of it.
It’s hard to explain, but it’s kind of like if you took a snot, and you’re squishing it around. And it just feels like it’s kind of running through your fingers, and it’s like, eugh, I don’t want to deal with you right now. Like, no, thank you.
It’s just kind of goopy, and it feels really heavy on the skin. And it’s definitely a look.
WEIRD AF *Viral* Beauty Products: Moisturizing Unicorn Tears
Oh, honey. This is something I have heard so many things about. Moisturizing unicorn tears.
First of all, the packaging is super cute. We have this little unicorn on the front. It’s all holographic and sparkly. And it says it’s formulated with real unicorn tears.
Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t that sound like a fictional animal? I don’t know where they’re sourcing these tears from, but okay.
Anyway, let’s see what it’s all about. So, it comes in this little bottle, and I am just gonna apply a little bit onto my skin.
Oh, wow. It’s very glittery. Like, it’s definitely not subtle. It’s like, bam, glitter
The Intriguing World of Viral Beauty Products
For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by beauty products. The promise of rejuvenated skin, a glowing complexion, and a luxurious pampering session is too tempting to resist. So naturally, when I stumbled upon a range of viral beauty products that claimed to do wonders for the skin, I couldn’t help but be intrigued.
The Mystery of the Mask
One of the most peculiar products I came across was a mask with added ingredients to soothe, refresh, and hydrate the skin. The instructions were rather interesting – 40ml of water mixed with 15 grams of powder. However, I had no idea what 15 grams looked like, and I couldn’t be bothered to fetch the scales from downstairs. So, I decided to eyeball it and add the powder until it formed a paste that seemed just right.
An Assistant and a Good Laugh
Applying the mask over my mouth seemed like a challenging task, so I enlisted the help of my friend and assistant, Ashton. We wanted to film the process and make it feel like a luxurious pampering session. Little did I know that I would still be finding bits of the mask on my face hours later! It was messy, to say the least.
The Delicate Balance
As we carefully applied the mask, making sure to leave my nostrils and eyes free, we couldn’t help but wonder how others managed to avoid getting it in those areas. The viral videos we had seen showed people using gauze and cotton pads to create a barrier, but we had chosen to be a bit more daring. Thankfully, the mask did not make its way into our eyes, much to our relief.
A Timeless Dilemma
One of the mysteries surrounding this viral beauty product was the duration it should be left on the skin. The instructions failed to mention a specific time frame, so we were left to guess. We decided to leave it on until it dried out, hoping that would be sufficient. In the meantime, we debated whether it was necessary to have it applied on the forehead as well.
The Peel Experience
After what seemed like an eternity, the mask had finally dried out enough for us to peel it off. We discovered that it needed to be applied quite thickly for the peeling process to be satisfying. Despite the mess and uncertainty surrounding the application process, I must admit that it did feel quite nice on the skin.
Exploring the world of viral beauty products can be a perplexing journey. From mysterious instructions to messy applications, it’s a realm filled with wonder and confusion. But perhaps that’s part of the charm – the unpredictable and unconventional nature that keeps us coming back for more. So, if you’re up for a unique beauty experience, why not give these weird AF products a try? Who knows, you may stumble upon your new beauty obsession!
Reviewing the Messy Mask
Applying the weird AF viral beauty mask was quite an experience. It felt really nice and soothing on the skin, with a cooling sensation that didn’t feel minty or painful. However, the aftermath was a bit of a nightmare.
Despite double cleansing and showering twice, I still found bits of the mask on my face for days. It seemed to have lodged itself in every nook and cranny, even in my facial hair and hairline. It was everywhere.
An Unconventional Eye Treatment
I didn’t have the courage to apply this mask over my eyes like the professionals do. I didn’t have the proper equipment, and the risk wasn’t worth it. However, I can imagine that it would have been a relaxing and soothing experience if I did.
My skin felt really cooled and refreshed after using the mask, which might be beneficial for those with rosacea. There was even a slight glow to my skin, giving it a healthy and natural appearance. However, the long-term effects were minimal.
A Tricky Mixture
The instructions for the mask recommended a specific amount, but I found that I needed more to achieve a nice and even consistency. This was crucial to ensure that it would peel off easily once it dried down.
Considering the mess and the extra effort required, I don’t think I’ll be using this mask again. It was too messy and time-consuming for my liking. While it had its pleasant moments, it wasn’t worth the hassle.
The Smoothie Experiment
Well, I should say it’s too much faff. I don’t want to have to experiment with this too much before I get the right consistency and I can actually use it again. You know, we all know the Sephora kids, right? Well, we’ve been talking about the smoothie-ing of Drunk Elephant skincare products, a brand that is extremely popular for some reason amongst Gen Z. And I mentioned in a video that I made about this – I think I know why.
Smoothie Guides: Fun or Risky?
That is the way Drunk Elephant encourages kids and their users to smoothie products together. On the Drunk Elephant website, they have these kind of like smoothie guides, which I actually think is really fun and kind of cute. However, it’s not recommended by chemists, dermatologists, or people in the industry to actually mix your products together if you want a good, even spread of the active ingredients you’re using.
Testing the Sun Kind Of Wonderful Smoothie
Now, I’m going to be trying their “Sun Kind Of Wonderful” smoothie recommendation, which is meant to give you a natural bronze glow. This smoothie includes their Lala Retro Whipped Cream Rescue & Recovery Moisturizer, one of the most popular Drunk Elephant products amongst tweens, the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops, and their B-Holdi Bright Drops. I’m looking forward to this, I’m not going to lie.
The Smoothie Recipe
I haven’t moisturized, I have cleansed, I have toned, I’ve used a serum. So, we’re going to follow this recipe. And that is one pump of this moisturizer.
Reviewing WEIRD AF *Viral* Beauty Products
The Application Process
One drop of the B Goldi Bright Drops. Is that going to be enough? And then one drop of the D Bronzi Anti Pollution, Sunshine Drops. And then I guess I just mix it up on there. It doesn’t feel right. I’m not sure that’s my color.
The Scent
Oh, I did think one of these might have like a fake, tannish kind of smell to them, but it doesn’t. I don’t know. I just… I don’t know. I just feel like all my creases are orange. No, I don’t… Look, there’s like orange bits in my beard. This is what I mean. Like, if I could have applied that on its own. At certain points, I feel like it would have been less patchy, and I could have got a more even coverage.
The Patchiness
If I dotted on my face rather than mixed in the top of a moisturizer. Or maybe this is just the reason I don’t like any kind of fake tan or like bronzing anything because I feel like it makes my skin look patchy. I mean, I don’t think it looks bad. I just don’t think it looks much different. I guess I don’t get the hype. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Warming Up
I don’t know. I’m kind of warming up to it a little bit. We’ll see.
The Final
Overall, I’m not impressed. I’m not unimpressed. I feel like everything was just a bit… meh, today. Interesting. Worth the money? Maybe not.
Sheet Masks for Your Feet?! Yes, It’s a Thing
When it comes to beauty trends, there’s always something new and exciting hitting the market. And the latest craze? Sheet masks for your feet. Yes, you read that right – these are masks specifically designed to pamper and nourish your tired and neglected feet. The concept might sound a bit bizarre, but I decided to give it a try and see if it lives up to the hype.
The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging. These foot sheet masks come individually wrapped, just like their facial counterparts. The design was cute and eye-catching, and the instructions seemed straightforward enough. I excitedly tore open the package and unfolded the mask, revealing a soft, gel-like material. The scent was pleasant and not overpowering, which was a relief.
Applying the mask to my feet was a slightly awkward process. I had to carefully place each foot on the designated spots on the sheet, ensuring that it covered the entire surface area. The mask felt cool and soothing as it adhered to my skin, and I immediately felt a wave of relaxation wash over me.
Bizarre But Effective: Bubble Face Masks
If you thought sheet masks for your feet were strange, wait till you hear about bubble face masks. These viral beauty products claim to give your skin a deep cleanse with the power of bubbles. Intrigued, I decided to put one to the test.
As soon as I opened the package, I could hear a faint fizzing sound, indicating that the mask was already at work. I carefully unfolded it and placed it on my face, contrasting the fizzy sensation with the soft texture of the mask. It was an oddly satisfying and slightly ticklish feeling.
The mask gradually started to foam, creating a layer of bubbles all over my face. It was quite a sight to see! I could feel the bubbles working their magic, deep-cleansing my pores and leaving my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. After the recommended time, I rinsed off the mask and was impressed with the noticeable difference in the appearance of my skin.
Glow in the Dark Nail Polish: A Fun and Quirky Trend
If you’re someone who loves experimenting with funky nail trends, then glow in the dark nail polish is right up your alley. This viral beauty product promises to add a touch of whimsy to your manicure by giving your nails an otherworldly glow in low-light environments. Naturally, I couldn’t resist trying it out.
Applying the nail polish was easy enough, and it looked just like any other regular polish in daylight. But the real magic happened after dark. As soon as I turned off the lights, my nails transformed into glowing beacons. It was truly mesmerizing! I couldn’t help but feel a sense of childlike wonder every time I caught a glimpse of my glowing fingertips.
Glow in the dark nail polish is undoubtedly a fun and quirky trend that is sure to be a conversation starter. Whether you’re hitting the dance floor or simply want to add a touch of magic to your everyday life, this beauty product delivers on its promise.
So there you have it – a selection of weird AF viral beauty products that I had
Although I was initially skeptical about using a pore vacuum, I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised by the Foreo Blackhead Pore Vacuum. The different suction strengths and the detachable head make it a user-friendly device, and the blue LED is a nice addition.
However, it’s important to note that while this product may be effective in removing blackheads, it should be used with caution. Excessive use or too much suction can lead to skin damage, so it’s crucial to follow the instructions and not overdo it.
If you’re someone who struggles with blackheads and is looking for a gentle and efficient solution, the Foreo Blackhead Pore Vacuum might be worth a try. Just remember to approach it with caution and use it sparingly to avoid any potential
