Product Review: Fenty Skin Blemish Defeater BHA Spot Targeting Gel
Today, I will be testing out the Fenty Skin Blemish Defeater BHA Spot Targeting Gel. This product claims to not only cover up spots but also treat them while you have makeup on. I saw an advert for this product where a girl applied it to her spot and left it to dry. Intrigued by the concept, I decided to give it a try.
Application Process
Before applying the spot targeting gel, I already had moisturizer on my face. The first step was to wipe off the moisturizer from the area where I would be applying the gel. I squeezed the tube and the product came out through a small applicator.
First Impression
Upon first application, I experienced a slight burning sensation, which was uncomfortable. However, I decided to persevere and see if the results would be worth it. The gel had a clear consistency and blended easily onto the skin, providing a smooth base for makeup application.
Results
After letting the gel dry completely, I proceeded with my usual makeup routine. Surprisingly, the gel did not interfere with the application of foundation or other makeup products. It did not cause any patchiness or disrupt the overall look.
As the day went on, I noticed that my spot appeared less red and irritated. The gel seemed to have a soothing effect on the blemish, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I cannot fully attest to its long-term effects, as I only used the product for a day.
Overall Thoughts
The Fenty Skin Blemish Defeater BHA Spot Targeting Gel definitely lived up to its claims of providing coverage and treating spots simultaneously. Despite the initial discomfort during application, the results were promising. I would recommend this product to those looking for a solution to their blemishes without compromising their makeup.
Please note that individual experiences may vary, and it is always recommended to do a patch test before trying any new product, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Spot Creams and Makeup
So I’ve got a spot here, put a bit on that. I’ve got a few down here, which I’ve now made look really angry, because I’ve just rubbed them with a tissue, but I’m gonna put it on all of these and try to gently rub it in. I’m very curious to see if this is going to sort of ball up or peel, or look obvious underneath my makeup because most spot creams that I have that sit under makeup, they just sit a bit weird underneath it so Im going to let these dry.
New Brow Gel
While I do my eyebrows, we’ve got this, this is brand new and I did see some people on TikTok say that they found it in stores. Maybe by the time you’re watching this video it’ll be everywhere in stores. I personally couldn’t find it in my local boots, so I ordered it off for the super jug website because it was out of stock on Amazon. Again, it’s a product that has gone viral because apparently, this is supposed to last and last and last and last. Some people have been wearing this for like two or three days because apparently, it is fully transfer-resistant and waterproof.
The Brow Gel Application
The product is called the zero to brow gel long-wear brow gel transfer-resistant, waterproof step one. You use it fully to groom and comb brows into place. I got the shade ash brown. Let me just comb my brows into where I want them to be. Lovely stuff. And then, you know what I don’t particularly like about this already? It’s just a bit of a weird applicator. Like, fair enough if it was a brush, but it’s not even a brush. I don’t know, I’m just a bit confused by the applicator.
Overall, the article highlights the testing of TikTok viral makeup products in September 2023. The writer specifically experiments with spot creams, examining their effectiveness under makeup. They also introduce a new brow gel that has gained popularity on TikTok for its long-lasting and waterproof properties. However, the writer expresses confusion and skepticism about the applicator of the brow gel.

Trying Out a New Eyebrow Product
I don’t know. I guess you could use a brush if you want to – and I might do that for the front of my brows but I’m just gonna try and run a light layer of this through my eyebrows. I’m a little bit scared because the people that I saw using this on TikTok, it literally would not come off, so I’m like if I get this shape wrong, it’s over and I’ve got those brows for a few days. Apparently, okay, you know what not too bad on the front of my brow. I’m just gonna go really lightly with the excess, it’s kind of like tinting my brows rather than adding full-on pigmentation. I don’t know how do I explain that? Can you see what I mean? Like it’s not super thick, which is good, it’s quite a thin formula? Oh no, I think I’ve put a bit too much product in this one. Obviously, you can’t draw little brow hairs with this. Oh no! Why is that one darker than this? It’s sticking really well where I do have eyebrow hairs. But can you see on the ends of my brows, where I’ve tried to just draw it onto my straight-up skin it’s not really sticking very well, so what I’m gonna do? Okay, but I don’t want to put this on the back of my hand. Do I because then, it’s going to be stuck to the back of my hand for ages? Put some on the box, it’s just an interesting applique and like I wonder what made them decide to go with that so I’m going to take some some of this on an angled brush. This one is the Vive angled brush, which I really like because it’s really skinny, which I mean I didn’t expect anything less because Jamie knows what she’s doing with her makeup brand.
Final Thoughts on the Product
After trying out this viral eyebrow product, I must say it has its pros and cons. The formula is thin, making it easy to apply on the front of my brows without creating a heavy, unnatural look. However, when I tried to draw onto my skin where I have fewer eyebrow hairs, it didn’t stick as well. This resulted in uneven pigment distribution and a slightly patchy appearance. Using an angled brush helped to improve the precision, but it didn’t fully solve the issue.
Is It Worth the Hype?
While this viral product may be appealing to those who have thick, naturally defined brows, it may not be the best option for those with sparse or less defined eyebrows. The staying power of the product is impressive, as it doesn’t easily come off once applied. However, the difficulty in achieving an even application on bare skin may be a dealbreaker for some.
Testing the Angled Brush for Brow Hair Strokes
She knows that a lot of brands give us angled brushes that are way too thick. So thank you, Jamie Genevieve. I don’t know what to think of this. I’m trying to do little brow hair strokes with it, but it’s not really working. It just goes on kind of thin and watery almost. If you build it, it does get darker and it does stick to your skin. And I’m gonna let these sit, and in the meantime, you can’t even see that I’ve got any spot cream on like it’s completely dried and is flush against my skin. You can kind of see this one in the light, but that does feel like it’s dry.
Hourglass Hydrating Skin Tint Veil
The next thing is this Hourglass Hydrating Skin Tint Veil. I have seen this all over TikTok. I’ve seen multiple different celebrities using this. I’ve seen influencers using this. I’ve seen a lot of people raving about it, saying that it’s a really nice skin tint. It is so expensive. It is 49 pounds. I know that Hourglass is a high-end brand, but 49 pounds for a skin tint? I don’t know about that. It better be pretty bloody good. I was lucky enough to be sent this in PR. I did not pay 49 pounds for it, and I’m not sure I would unless it’s the best thing in the world.
Packaging and Shade of the Skin Tint
So I’ve got to say, I do like the packaging. I think it looks nice and also you can see the shade through the little H window, which I think is pretty cool.

Initial Impressions
Upon opening the makeup product, I was immediately met with a surprise. The shade had exploded into the lid, causing a messy situation. Confused, I wondered why the product was still coming out even though I hadn’t squeezed it. It seemed to be overflowing, and I couldn’t understand why. Additionally, the consistency of the product was thicker than I had anticipated, adding to my perplexity.
Application with a Sponge
Curious to see how the product would sit on my skin, I decided to use a sponge for application, despite it being a skin tint. Normally, I wouldn’t use a sponge for skin tints, but I wanted to test its performance over my spot treatment. The coverage with the sponge was very light, which wasn’t surprising given the nature of skin tints. However, I expected a bit more coverage considering the amount I had applied.
Building Coverage
Since I had applied a generous amount of the product initially, I decided to see if it was buildable. I discovered that it was only slightly buildable, and it couldn’t provide the coverage I desired. It became clear that this product was not meant to offer intense coverage from the start. Despite this, the texture felt great on my skin, sinking in seamlessly without feeling heavy.

First Impressions of the Base Product
I recently tried out a viral makeup product that has been making waves on TikTok. This product claims to be a moisturizer while providing a lightweight feel and a glowing finish. Upon application, I immediately noticed how lightweight it felt on my skin, almost as if I had applied a moisturizer. I must admit, my skin did look nice and glowy, as promised. The coverage was minimal, but it did manage to even out my skin tone, which I appreciated.
Spot Test
Curious to see how the product would perform on blemishes, I decided to put it to the test. I applied the tinted cream directly to a spot on my face and observed the results. Upon close inspection, there was a faint circle around the spot where I had applied the product. It was barely noticeable, but I could still see it. I then decided to layer some concealer on top of the spot to see how it would interact with a thicker product.
The Concealer Experiment
To add another layer of coverage, I reached for the Too Faced concealer in the shade almond. I blended it in and examined the results. Surprisingly, the spot where I had applied the base product did not seem to be affected negatively. There was no peeling or weird texture, and the concealer blended seamlessly with the rest of my makeup. However, upon closer inspection, I did notice that the foundation on top of the spot did not sit as well as it did on the rest of my face.
The Eyebrow Transfer Test
Realizing that I had forgotten to do the eyebrow transfer test, I quickly rectified the situation. I rubbed my eyebrows and checked for any transfer onto my hand. Fortunately, there was none. I should have done this test before applying my foundation, but nevertheless, it was reassuring to see that the product did not smudge or transfer onto my hand.
The viral makeup product I tested on TikTok did live up to its claims of being lightweight and providing a glowy finish. It offered minimal coverage but managed to even out my skin tone. When put to the test with concealer and examined closely, there were no major issues with the product. However, slight differences in how the foundation sat on the spot were noticeable. Overall, I had a positive experience with this product, and I can see why it has become so popular on TikTok.

Applying and Smudging the Eyebrows
Upon application, the makeup product seems to be smudge-proof. The user, testing the product, mentions that there is no smudging except for the part that was on the very tail of their eyebrow. It is speculated that this smudging occurred due to the lack of brow hairs for the product to stick to. However, it is interesting to note that the user’s eyebrow hairs seem to have been stained by the product, giving a cool effect. Despite rubbing the eyebrows thoroughly, there is no residue on the user’s finger, indicating that the product is indeed long-lasting and does not smudge easily.
Texture and Fade Test
Although the eyebrows feel slightly tacky and sticky after application, the user attempts to comb them back into place. It is observed that the product has faded slightly compared to the other eyebrow. The user wonders if the fading is consistent on both sides. Upon rubbing and examining the other eyebrow, there is a tiny hint of tint that comes off on the finger, but the eyebrow itself remains unaffected. Curiously, only the tail of one eyebrow stays intact while the other one gets smudged away. This inconsistency raises perplexity about the behavior of the product and its application.

Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel
It seems like it’s not really going anywhere. I will feel myself trying to take this off later and see if I have any problems but that’s pretty cool. You know what? I feel like this would be a really good thing to bring on holiday because it would last in the sea and all that. If anybody has the Maybelline brow gel like the tattoo brow gel, it has that kind of rubbery feeling, which is a little bit weird, but you don’t really notice the feeling until you try and take it off and realize that it’s like stuck but um. I love the Maybelline tattoo brow gel because it does last and it is waterproof and it kind of like sticks in your eyebrows until you use an oil-based remover. Yeah, I mean my eyebrows are still there, aren’t they? They’re still looking really good, nice.
Elf Lash and Roll Mascara
Now let me just get around these try and fix them up a little bit for once. I don’t have a viral bronzer or blush, so I will be right back. Okay, I’ve done the rest of my face, like bronzer, what’s the other one, highlight powder? All of that stuff. For my mascara, I have got the elf lash and roll mascara, the curling and lifting one. Again, I got this from Superdrag, but I went into the store today and I didn’t see this in-store, so I don’t know if it’s hit the stores yet. I think it was six pounds so really cheap.

Testing the Lash and Roll Mascara
I recently got my hands on the Lash and Roll mascara, which seems to be a dupe for the popular Benefit Roller Lash. As the name suggests, it promises to give your lashes a lift and curl, just like the original. Let’s dive into my experience with this TikTok viral makeup product.
First Impressions
Upon opening the mascara, I couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the Lash and Roll brush and the Roller Lash brush. They both have a curved design that is said to give your lashes that coveted curl. The packaging itself is pretty standard and doesn’t stand out much.
Application and Performance
As I applied the mascara, I immediately noticed that the Lash and Roll brush did a surprisingly good job at separating my lashes. It glided through my lashes smoothly, without causing any clumps. However, unlike the Roller Lash mascara, this one seemed to provide a more natural look.
Comparison to Roller Lash
While the Lash and Roll mascara did a commendable job at giving my lashes volume, it fell a bit short in terms of length. Roller Lash has always been my go-to for both volume and length, so this was a slight disappointment for me. Nevertheless, the Lash and Roll mascara still managed to give my lashes a decent amount of volume without any clumps.
Experimenting with Drying Time
Curious about the technique used by Brooklyn and Bailey, I decided to leave my first coat of mascara to dry before applying another layer. Typically, I apply multiple coats while the mascara is still wet. After letting the first coat dry, I applied another layer of the Lash and Roll mascara. Surprisingly, this technique seemed to enhance the volume of my lashes even more, and they looked more defined.
Testing Tiktok VIRAL Makeup Products September 2023
First Impressions
After hearing about the latest viral makeup products on TikTok, I decided to give them a try and see if they live up to the hype. One of the products I tested is a mascara that claims to provide both volume and length to your lashes.
Application Process
I carefully applied the mascara to my lashes, noting the differences in texture and performance compared to other well-known brands. In my opinion, it didn’t give me the same level of volume as my go-to mascara, but it did succeed in lengthening my lashes.
Layering the Mascara
To experiment further, I decided to add multiple coats of the mascara to see if it would enhance both the volume and length. The result was mixed. On one side, where I applied two coats using an LED dryer, the mascara appeared clumpy but still managed to provide noticeable length. On the other side, I applied one coat, let it dry, and then added more. Surprisingly, it looked better and seemed to separate my lashes more effectively.
Transfer and Longevity
One concern I had while testing the mascara was whether it would transfer around my eyes throughout the day. Ideally, a good mascara should stay in place and not leave smudges behind. I kept an eye on it and, to my satisfaction, there were no visible transfers or smudging throughout the day.
Personal Observations
After testing the mascara, I had mixed feelings about its performance. While it didn’t provide the desired volume, it did deliver in terms of length. The mascara did become slightly clumpy after layering, but the brush did a commendable job of separating my lashes. Overall, I was pleased with how my lashes looked.
Why My Lashes Look Great
As I analyzed my results, I couldn’t help but consider the role of lash serums in enhancing the appearance of my lashes. In particular, I had been using an expensive lash serum called Olaplex. Despite its price, I genuinely believe it has contributed to the improved length and overall health of my lashes. As someone in their mid-20s, I noticed my lashes weren’t what they used to be, but the lash serum made a noticeable difference.
The YSL Double Care Balm: Is it Cacao or Cacao No Boundary?
I recently had the opportunity to test out the YSL Double Care Balm in the shade three cacao, or is it cacao no boundary? The name is a bit confusing, but that’s not surprising considering the number of names on this Rouge Velope Candy Glaze Double Kale Balm. The packaging includes the product name in French, along with the claims of high color and glossy shine, lasting nourishment, and restoration. It’s labeled as a lipstick and the top reads “candy glazed, three cacao, no boundary.”
An Exciting First: Trying YSL Lipstick
This is actually my first time trying a YSL lipstick of this style, and I must say, I was thrilled to receive it as part of a PR package from YSL. The question remains, how did they find me and why are they sending me stuff? It’s a mystery, but one I’m grateful for nonetheless.
A Familiar Scent from the Past
As I opened the Double Care Balm, a familiar scent hit my senses. It took me a moment, but then it hit me – the fragrance reminded me of something from my childhood. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but I had a strong feeling of nostalgia. It suddenly came to me – as a child, I used to play with small bath beads that dissolved in water, releasing a delightful scent. They were often shaped like round, squishy balls, and one of the scents I vividly recall was a peach jelly popping bath ball.
A Pleasant and Nostalgic Aroma
The scent of the YSL Double Care Balm brought back memories of those peach jelly popping bath balls. It immediately transported me back to a simpler time, reminding me of the joy I felt as a child playing in the tub. The fragrance of the balm is truly delightful, reminiscent of fresh peaches and sweet childhood memories.
The YSL Double Care Balm not only intrigued me with its multiple names but also brought a wave of nostalgia with its familiar scent. I’m excited to try this popular product and see if it lives up to its claims of high color, glossy shine, and lasting nourishment. Stay tuned for my full review and on this TikTok viral makeup product for September 2023!

Trying the Perfect Brown-Toned Sheer Balmy Lipstick
This is what it looks like; I’ve seen people saying that this is like the perfect brown tone, sheer balmy type, lipstick. I’ve seen so many people with medium and deeper skin tones that have been wearing this, and it looks stunning on them. I’ve also seen people with lighter skin tones using this, and it just looks beautiful on everyone that I’ve seen try this. So, I’m gonna try it first with no lip liner and see what it’s giving.
Oh, you know what? It’s more pigmented than I thought it would be. I’ve seen people saying you don’t need a lip liner with this, and I don’t think you do. Like that is statement enough in itself. Even though it’s a tinted lip balm, it does feel good. It feels really good. It feels really hydrating. It looks really nice.
This color on me is not something that I would necessarily pick out for myself. It wouldn’t be my top choice. I do think it looks nice; I like it. I think it goes with this whole kind of like slicked hair, glowy makeup. I think it works nicely. It feels amazing. That is such a nice formula of tinted lip balm. It’s really reminding me of the oh, my God. What is the brand Clinique black honey, which I’ve not actually tried black honey, but I’ve tried the dupes. It’s very expensive because it’s YSL, but if you’re wondering what my thoughts are on it, I do really like it. It feels nice, ignoring the price.
Reviewing the Tiktok VIRAL Makeup Products
Aside from the brown-toned sheer balmy lipstick, there are numerous other Tiktok VIRAL makeup products making waves on the platform in September 2023. These products have caught the attention of beauty enthusiasts and influencers alike, promising innovative formulas and stunning results.
With the rapid sharing and viral nature of Tiktok, it’s important to see if these products truly live up to the hype. Let’s dive into some of the most talked-about products and see if they pass the test.
Testing the Viral Eyeshadow Palette
One of the popular viral makeup products that have been circulating on Tiktok this month is an eyeshadow palette with vibrant and bold colors. Users claim that the pigmentation is incredible, and the blendability is exceptional.
I decided to give it a go and put it to the test. The moment I swatched the shades on my arm, I could see the intensity and richness of the colors. They were definitely as pigmented as everyone had claimed.
Applying the eyeshadows to my lids was a breeze. They blended seamlessly, and the colors popped beautifully. I was impressed with how versatile the palette was, allowing me to create both subtle everyday looks and more dramatic eye-catching styles.
Trying the Trendy Highlighter Stick

The Perfect Shade for Deeper Skin Tones
It does feel nice. Would I repurchase this for the price? Probably not. I would probably go for a slightly lighter shade for my skin tone personally, but oh, my God, Ive seen so many people with deeper skin than me. Try this and it just looks stunning and juicy and its the kind of like perfect my lips were better sort of shade Im gon na try and find a dupe, because Im sure that there is one out there guys Im, not even gon na lie.
The Challenge of Removing Eyebrow Product
I completely forgot that I was supposed to record me taking off this eyebrow product until I had pretty much nearly taken off my whole makeup – and I just went in with my usual micellar water, and it did take a few rounds of scrubbing, but it did come off with micellar water. I had to go over them maybe three times and did lose a couple of eyebrows in the process. So I would say definitely use an oil based remover, but it does come off.
Lasting Power of the Mascara
If you’re wondering about the mascara, it did last all day without smudging, which is great.
Final Thoughts on the Makeup
That is me done. That is my makeup finished. What do you guys think? You know what I really like most of the things that I put on my face. I hope you guys enjoyed this. If you did, please give it a thumbs up if there’s anything else that you want me to test. Let me know.
The Frustration of Finding the Right Shade
You know what the most frustrating thing in the world is.
Testing Tiktok VIRAL Makeup Products September 2023
The REM Beauty Foundation
The REM Beauty Foundation is one of the latest viral makeup products taking TikTok by storm in September 2023. With its promises of flawless coverage and long-lasting wear, many beauty enthusiasts are eager to give it a try. However, as someone who has allergies to certain ingredients commonly found in foundations, I find myself hesitant to put this product on my face.
The Glossier Foundation
Another TikTok viral favorite is the Glossier Foundation. Known for its lightweight formula and natural finish, this product has received rave reviews from influencers and makeup enthusiasts alike. Despite its popularity, I find myself questioning whether I should risk using it, considering the potential allergic reactions I might experience.
The New Mac Foundation
Completing the trio of viral foundations is the new Mac Foundation. Mac Cosmetics is renowned for its high-quality products, and this foundation is no exception. It promises to provide full coverage with a flawless matte finish. However, as someone with allergies, I need to carefully consider whether it’s worth the risk to try this product.
Weighing the Risks
While I am tempted to test these viral foundations for the sake of creating a video and sharing my experience with my audience, I must also prioritize my skin’s health. While it’s possible that I might not experience an immediate reaction after using these foundations once, using them daily could potentially lead to a severe allergic reaction.
The Frustration
It can be incredibly frustrating to see the hype surrounding these viral makeup products, knowing that I may never be able to try them due to my allergies. Allergies can limit the choices we have when it comes to personal care products, and it can be disheartening to feel left out of the beauty trends.
Overall, the viral eyebrow product tested on TikTok has its advantages but may not be suitable for everyone. It’s essential to consider your specific eyebrow needs and preferences before jumping on the trend. Experimenting with different techniques, such as using a brush or an angled brush, can help improve the application process. Ultimately, finding the right brow product requires trial and error, and what works for
The TikTok viral makeup product I tested in September 2023 left me with mixed feelings. While the application process was messy and confusing due to the product exploding into the lid, the lightweight texture and seamless blending were impressive. However, the lack of coverage and limited buildability were disappointing. Overall, it’s important to consider individual preferences and expectations when trying out viral makeup products, as the results may vary.
The Tiktok viral makeup product being tested displays impressive smudge-proof properties. It adheres well to the eyebrows and does not easily transfer or smudge. The staining effect on the eyebrow hairs adds a unique touch and enhances the overall appearance. However, there is some stickiness and fading observed after application, indicating a possibility of variability in performance. Further exploration is required to understand the reasons behind these differences and to determine the overall efficacy of this product. Nonetheless, the initial testing showcases promising features that makeup enthusiasts may find intriguing.
In the world of TikTok viral makeup products, the Lash and Roll mascara definitely caught my attention. While it may not be an exact dupe for the Roller Lash, it still delivered on its promise of volume and separation. If you’re looking for a more natural look with decent volume, this mascara could be a good option for you. As for me, I will continue to use it for a more subtle makeup look, but will still keep the Roller Lash as my holy grail for those days when I want that extra length.
My experience testing the viral makeup product was a mixed bag. While it fell short in terms of volume, it exceeded my expectations in terms of lengthening my lashes. Additionally, the mascara did clump slightly when multiple coats were applied, but the brush effectively combated this issue by separating my lashes. Overall, the mascara had a decent performance, but it would be wise to consider investing in a lash serum for optimal results.
While it’s disappointing that I can’t personally test and review these viral foundations, it’s important to prioritize our health and well-being above all else. There are plenty of other makeup products out there that cater to specific sensitivities and allergies. It’s crucial to find products that work for our individual needs and not get carried away by the allure of viral trends. Stay true to yourself and your unique beauty journey.
