The Dominique Brow Frame
Let’s start this cool toned makeup look by focusing on the brows. For this, I will be using the Dominique brow frame in the shade soft black brown. This product has quickly become my go-to brow pencil because of its long-lasting formula and its ability to create a natural and defined look. With the Dominique brow frame, I can easily fill in my brows in less than 10 minutes, which is a big deal for me. The pencil also comes with a spoolie and a built-in sharpener, making it convenient for all your brow needs.
Creating the Perfect Brows
Now that we have our trusty Dominique brow frame in hand, it’s time to start defining our brows. I like to begin by outlining the bottom part of my brows, following their natural shape. Once that’s done, I move on to the top part, ensuring that I maintain a consistent shape throughout. Using the flat part of the pencil, I then proceed to fill in the remaining spaces of my brows, creating a seamless and well-defined look. This technique is not only quick and easy but has become my signature brow style ever since you, my lovely audience, convinced me to keep rocking it.
A Flawless Base with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
To achieve a flawless canvas for our cool toned makeup look, I’m going to use one of my all-time favorite products, the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This concealer not only provides excellent coverage but also gives a radiant and natural finish to the skin. I like to apply it under my eyes, on any blemishes, and along my nose to even out my skin tone. Using a damp beauty sponge, I gently blend the concealer into my skin, ensuring that it melts seamlessly and leaves no harsh lines. The result is a fresh and luminous base that sets the stage for the rest of our makeup.
Chiseling and Blushing with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
To add some dimension and warmth to our cool toned makeup look, I’m going to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. This palette offers a range of shades that are perfect for contouring and bronzing. I take a fluffy brush and dip it into the contour shade, tapping off any excess product. Starting from the hollows of my cheeks, I lightly sweep the brush upwards towards my temples, creating a soft and natural contour. I also like to dust a little bit of the bronzer along my hairline and jawline to give my face a warm and sun-kissed glow. For a touch of color, I reach for the blush shade in the palette and apply it to the apples of my cheeks, blending it out for a subtle flush.
Creating Definition with the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette
No cool toned makeup look is complete without some eyeshadow magic. For this, I’m going to use my all-time favorite eyeshadow palette, the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette. This palette consists of beautiful rose-toned shades that are perfect for creating a cool-toned eye look. I start by applying a matte nude shade all over my lid as a base. Then, I take a slightly darker matte shade and
Softening the Brows with a Good Pencil
When it comes to doing my brows, I used to have a different technique. However, looking back, I realize that the method I use now makes them appear much softer. It actually softens my entire face, which I absolutely love. One of my go-to products for this is a good eyebrow pencil. Not only does it help me define individual brow hairs, but it also comes with its own spoolie. I spoolie through my brows as I go along, ensuring that the product is applied just low enough to prevent it from breaking. This simple process, along with fluffing the brows, is all I need to create the perfect brow shape.
Cleaning up the Brows
Once I’m done with the entire makeup look, I always make sure to clean up my brows. This step is non-negotiable for me, as it helps achieve a more polished look. To clean up my brows, I’ve been using the Fenty Eavesdrop Blur Smooth Tint Stick in the shade eight. Although this color is a bit too light for my face, it works wonders for cleaning up my brows. The stick’s thicker consistency is perfect for precision application, and I find that using a flat concealer brush helps me carve out the desired shape. The formula is creamy and seamless, preventing any cakey or heavy-looking makeup around the brows. I only need to use a tiny bit of the product, so I know it’ll last me forever. To blend it out, I either use my finger or a small brush.
The Power of Eye Primer
Now that my brows are perfected, it’s time to move on to the eyes. One product that I can’t do without is the Rare Beauty eye primer. This primer helps create a smooth canvas for eyeshadow application and ensures that the colors stay vibrant all day long. Applying this primer not only enhances the color payoff of my eyeshadows but also helps prevent creasing and fading. It’s a game-changer in my makeup routine, as it ensures that my eye makeup looks flawless and lasts from morning until night.
Creating a Cool Toned Eye Look
With the eye primer in place, it’s time to dive into creating a cool-toned eye look. One of my favorite products for this is the Urban Decay Naked3 eyeshadow palette. This palette offers a stunning range of rosy and mauve-toned shades that are perfect for achieving a cool-toned makeup look. Whether I’m going for a subtle everyday look or a more dramatic evening look, this palette has it all. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented, blend seamlessly, and have incredible lasting power. I love how versatile this palette is, allowing me to create a variety of cool-toned eye looks that suit any occasion.
Glowing with a Cool Toned Highlighter
No makeup look is complete without a touch of highlighter. For a cool-toned makeup look, I reach for the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade “Pearl.” This highlighter has a beautiful icy tone that adds a stunning glow to my cheekbones, brow bone, and the inner corners of my eyes. It’s finely milled, melts into the skin seamlessly, and gives a natural-looking
Palette Choices
I will be using two different eyeshadow palettes today, both from dose of colors. The first one is the pretty cool palette. This palette is filled with stunning all matte cool tone shades. Except for black, this palette has all the matte cool tones you will ever need. The formula of these eyeshadows is exceptional super blendable and creamy.
I will also incorporate one or two shades from the shiza 10 palette in today’s look. When I previously did this look, I used the shade “10 years” all over the lid. So, today, I will be using this shimmery, gorgeous blue-gray color.
Getting Started
Let’s start with the pretty cool palette. I will be using a mix of shades to create the perfect look. I will blend this shade in the crease and all over the lid. The blendability and layering capability of these eyeshadows are remarkable.
Investing in Quality Eyeshadows
If you ever want to splurge on some good quality eyeshadows, I highly recommend dose of colors. I love their products so much, and this true cool tone palette is no exception.
Choosing the Perfect Cool Toned Eyeshadows
Finding true cool tone eyeshadows can be quite a challenge in today’s makeup market. Many shades tend to turn orange or too warm, but fortunately, I have discovered the perfect cool tones that blend like a dream. These eyeshadows are simply fabulous and give me the desired smoky effect that I’m aiming for.
Creating a Smoky Eye Look
To achieve a stunning smoky eye, I start by applying the eyeshadow on the outer lid and gradually work my way into the crease and the rest of the lid. The key to achieving a flawless look is layering. I then take a fluffy brush and apply a Charly grayish color on my lid, further enhancing the smokiness of the look.
An Unforgettable Look
While I may not remember the exact order in which I used the colors during the process, I recall using these beautiful shades while playing around with my makeup the other day. The end result was a breathtaking look that I absolutely loved. Although this recreation may not be identical to the original, it captures the essence of the stunning look I created.
Making Corrections
At times, I may feel that I’ve applied too much eyeshadow on the inner part, making it appear too dark. In such cases, I rectify it by taking the brush I used to prime my lids and using any leftover product to blend and lighten the inner areas. This brush also comes in handy for cleaning up any excess foundation or concealer around my brows, giving me a flawless finish.
By properly selecting cool toned eyeshadows and skillfully layering them, anyone can achieve a mesmerizing smoky eye look. With a few corrective techniques, the final result can be a flawless and fabulous appearance that will surely turn heads.
Using the Brush as an Eraser
When applying cool-toned makeup, I have a little trick up my sleeve. I use a brush as a mini eraser to remove any excess darkness that may have gathered on my inner lids. This technique helps create a more seamless and lighter look without disturbing the eyeshadow. It’s like using a magic eraser to enhance the overall effect.
Applying the Color “10 years”
Now, it’s time to dive into the best part of the whole makeup routine. I am going to use the beautiful cool-toned shade called “10 years” and apply it all over my lid. Trust me, this is where the magic happens.
I have a flat brush that I purchased from Amazon, which works perfectly for this step. I simply dip my brush into the eyeshadow and gently sweep the color all over my lid. The pigmentation of this shade is so incredible that I don’t even need to wet my brush. No need for extra steps when the color is already so vibrant.
Blending with a Fluffy Brush
To blend the eyeshadow seamlessly, I grab my fluffy blending brush. With this brush, I softly blend around the edges of the lid shade. This step helps create a transition between the eyeshadow and the rest of my makeup. It’s all about making sure everything looks effortlessly blended together.
Adding a Touch of Glitter
Now comes the fun part – glitter! I love using the Fenty Diamond Bomb in the shade “How many carrots?” for that extra sparkle on my lids. I know it may look a bit messy in the compact because I often dip my brush in here, but trust me, it’s worth it.
Although this glitter is marketed for the face, I personally prefer using it as an eyeshadow glitter. The result is absolutely stunning. It adds a touch of glamour to any cool-toned makeup look and instantly boosts the overall effect.
These are my favorite products and techniques for achieving a cool-toned makeup look. By using the brush as an eraser, applying the color “10 years,” blending with a fluffy brush, and adding a touch of glitter, you can create a beautifully cohesive and mesmerizing look. So go ahead and experiment with these techniques using your favorite products and see the transformation for yourself.

Eyeshadow Magic
If you want to add a touch of glitter to any eyeshadow look, I have just the trick for you. You can either use a brush or simply dip your finger into the glitter pigment and tap it over your chosen eyeshadow. This technique intensifies the color and adds a gorgeous sparkle that will catch everyone’s eye. I recently tried this method with a lighter shade and it turned out to be absolutely stunning. The glitter works wonders whether you apply it over eyeshadow or directly on your bare lids. It gives your eyes a wet, sparkling effect that is both pretty and mesmerizing. Just tap the glitter pigment all over your lids and blend it as necessary.
The Power of Mascara
To enhance my lashes, I always curl them first and then apply my go-to mascara. Lately, the Lash Blast cleantopia from Covergirl has become my absolute favorite. This mascara does it all – volumizing, lengthening, and thickening. It instantly transforms my lashes, giving them the perfect amount of drama. The best part is that this mascara is long-lasting, so I don’t have to worry about touching it up throughout the day. It truly is a game-changer!
Add Some Drama with False Lashes
To elevate my eye makeup even further, I love using the kiss Legacy lashes. These lashes are incredibly beautiful and voluminous, but they don’t overpower the rest of the look. They strike the perfect balance between dramatic and natural. Despite their dramatic appearance, they are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to wear. When I have these lashes on, I feel like a true beauty queen. They add that extra touch of glamour that completes the entire makeup look. Simply apply the lashes, and you’re ready to slay the day!
Flawless Skin Is Key
Now, let’s move on to achieving a flawless complexion. A good base sets the stage for any makeup look, and I like to start with a primer to minimize the appearance of pores and create a smooth canvas. Then, using my favorite foundation, I effortlessly blend it onto my skin using a beauty sponge. This foundation provides excellent coverage without feeling heavy or cakey.
Bring on the Glow
To add a healthy glow to my skin, I reach for my trusty highlighter. This product is a game-changer when it comes to achieving that radiant, lit-from-within look. I apply it to the high points of my face, such as the cheekbones, brow bone, and down the bridge of my nose. The result is a stunning, dewy glow that catches the light in all the right places.
Finishing Touches
To complete my cool toned makeup look, I always love adding a pop of color to my lips. A cool-toned lipstick or lip gloss can perfectly complement the overall look. Whether it’s a soft pink or a bold berry shade, the right lip color can tie everything together and make you feel like a true beauty guru.
Remember, makeup is an art form, and experimenting with different products and techniques is all part of the fun. So don’t be afraid to get creative and find what works best for you. With the right
Skin Prep with Nyx Plump Right Back Primer
For skin prep, I always reach for one of my favorites, the Nyx Plump Right Back Primer. It not only hydrates my skin but also provides a nice grippy texture without being overwhelming. If you prefer a primer that is not overly sticky but still offers some grip, this one is perfect.
Foundation Application with Hourglass Veil Skin Tint
For foundation, I’ve been obsessed with The Hourglass Veil Skin Tint in shade nine. Throughout the day, it wears beautifully and surprisingly offers decent coverage for a skin tint. The longer I wear it, the more stunning it looks on my skin.
To apply the foundation, I like to first massage the product in with my fingers. This technique creates a seamless, skin-like finish. Afterward, I blend it out with a brush to ensure even application. To enhance the seamless look, I gently press everything in with a brush.
The foundation has a fresh and hydrating feel. It gives a natural medium coverage, not too light that it doesn’t cover anything, but still maintaining a skin-like appearance. It offers a radiant finish without feeling overly dewy.
Eyeshadow with Cool Toned Shades
For the eyes, I love using cool-toned shades to complement the overall look. Cool-toned eyeshadows add a touch of sophistication and create a subtle, yet captivating effect.
I start by applying a light cool-toned shade all over the lid as a base. Then, I use a slightly darker cool-toned shade on the outer corner and blend it into the crease to add depth. Finally, I add a shimmery cool-toned shade on the center of the lid for a pop of sparkle.
Blush and Bronzer for a Breezy Look
To achieve a breezy and cool-toned look, I choose blush and bronzer shades that complement my skin tone and the overall theme. Light, rosy blushes and subtle, cool-toned bronzers work beautifully for this.
I apply a soft pink blush on the apples of my cheeks to add a natural flush. Then, I lightly sweep a cool-toned bronzer along the hollows of my cheeks and temples to create a subtle contour and add a touch of warmth.
Finishing Touch with a Cool-Toned Lipstick
To complete the cool-toned makeup look, I like to opt for a lipstick in a cool-toned shade. This ties the whole look together and adds the perfect finishing touch.
Whether it’s a soft mauve, a cool-toned pink, or a muted berry, choosing a lipstick that complements the cool tones in the rest of the makeup enhances the overall aesthetic.
With the right products and techniques, achieving a cool-toned makeup look is effortlessly stunning. The combination of hydrating foundation, cool-toned eyeshadows, subtle blush and bronzer, and a cool-toned lipstick creates a cohesive and mesmerizing aesthetic.
New House Labs Skin Tech Concealer
For today’s cool toned makeup look, I am excited to try out the new House Labs Skin Tech Concealer in the shade 23, light medium golden. Previously, I had been using the shade 21, but it was a bit too light for my skin tone. I’m hoping that this new shade will be a better match for me.
I must say, I am quite impressed with the formula and wearability of this concealer. When you first apply it, it feels slightly thick, almost like a mousse. However, once blended out, it becomes incredibly lightweight and creamy. This texture makes it easy to work with and provides a seamless finish.
A Winner in the Formula
What House Labs is doing with their products is truly remarkable. Every time I try something from their complexion range, I am blown away by how flawless it looks on the skin. This concealer is no exception. It gives off a natural brightness without appearing too harsh or heavy.
Minimal Creasing, Maximum Coverage
One of the most impressive qualities of this concealer is the minimal creasing it creates. As someone with fine lines, this is a game-changer for me. Even after a few hours of wear, I notice that my under-eye area still looks smooth and crease-free. It’s truly a dream come true for those of us who struggle with creasing.
Extra Concealer for the Inner Part
Since I plan on going for a dark eye makeup look today, I want to ensure that the inner part of my under-eyes is nice and bright. To achieve this, I’m applying a little extra concealer in that area. This will help to bring light and balance to my overall look.
Overall, I must say that the House Labs Skin Tech Concealer has impressed me once again. Its lightweight and creamy formula, along with its ability to minimize creasing, make it a standout product in my makeup routine. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you have fine lines or struggle with creasing. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
The Perfect Pink Blush
Im going to use the soft pop Plumping blush veil in perfect, pink for makeup by Mario. It is truly the most perfect pink. This blush has a nice pigmented yet buildable formula. As I blend it onto my cheeks, I like to blend it up towards my temples for a more natural, flushed look. I also love applying a touch of blush on my nose – it adds a cute touch to the overall makeup. What I appreciate about this blush is how it seamlessly melts into the skin, giving a natural and radiant finish. Sometimes, I like to go back in with my concealer brush and blend the edges for a more seamless look. You can even apply concealer or foundation after applying blush, and it still looks seamless. This trick helps to blend everything together and avoids harsh lines on the face.
A Setting Powder Favorite
Now, I’m reaching for my trusty oldie but goodie – my elf Halo glow setting powder in the shade light pink. I use this setting powder to set my under eyes and T-zone. To apply it, I’m using my beauty blender pocket puff. This puff is a bit more dense, which is perfect for setting under the eyes. It does an excellent job of packing the powder on and ensures a smooth finish. When I reach the area where I’ve applied blush, I lightly tap the powder in. Look at how smooth it looks! This setting powder is definitely one of the top five pink powders I’ve ever tried. It adds a subtle pink hue without overpowering the face and gives brightness to the under eyes.
Cool Toned Makeup: Get Ready With Me (using my favorite products)
Setting the Base
To start off my cool-toned makeup look, I like to use the pink powder from Elf. Trust me, if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out! I always make sure to blend out any creases before setting my foundation. After that, I immediately set my face with the same pink powder. I take extra care to press the powder down as close to my lash line as possible. There’s usually some powder left over, so I dab a little bit between my brows for a seamless finish.
Double-Setting for Longevity
To set the rest of my makeup, I reach for the Nyx Cant Stop Won’t Stop powder in the shade Light Medium. I use a different brush for this step to really press the powder into my skin. I believe in double-setting my makeup with both loose and pressed powder, especially when I’m wearing a skin tint. It’s a must because sometimes skin tones can easily slip off your face. Setting your makeup is always key to keeping it in place throughout the day.
The Perfect Brush
When I set my face with a pressed powder, I like to use the Rose and Ben C41 brush. This brush is angled and dense, making it perfect for pressing the powder into the skin. It’s also a great brush for applying bronzer if you want to multitask. The size and shape of this brush are just right for powder application, giving me a flawless finish.
Add a Pop of Color
Now that my base is nice and set, I can move on to the next steps. I like to add a little bit more blush to my cheeks for a natural flush. But before that, I want to add some bronzer to warm up my complexion. For this, I use the Milani Suntan bronzer. This shade gives me a subtle, sun-kissed glow that complements the cool-toned makeup I’m going for.
And there you have it! My get ready with me routine using my favorite products for a cool-toned makeup look. It’s all about setting the base, double-setting for longevity, finding the right brush, and adding a touch of bronzer to enhance the overall look. Try it out for yourself and see how it transforms your makeup game!
Silky Matte Bronzer
The silky matte bronzer is one of my favorite products. It has a super smooth texture and a beautiful formula. The only downside is that there aren’t enough shades available. I like to apply it on the outer perimeter of my face, starting with the forehead. This bronzer adds a natural sun-kissed look without looking muddy. I also like to apply it around my jawline, blend it down to my neck, and even hit my ears for a seamless finish.
Blush
For blush, I’m using the Juvias place of volume 4 blushed Duo. The shade I love is a gorgeous bubble gum pink. It acts as a topper and enhances any blush color, giving it a pop. It has a pastel cotton candy color that ties everything together. This shade looks stunning with any pink blush and is very flattering. I apply a touch of it on my nose to bring back some pink to my face.
Highlighter
Next, I’m going to add some highlighter. My all-time favorite highlighter is the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in the shade number 10. It gives a beautiful glow. I love using it as my go-to highlighter. It adds a radiant finish to my makeup look.
Highlighter as Blush Topper
I have been using this highlighter since 2016, and I absolutely love it. I can’t get enough of how it looks on my skin. Instead of using it as a regular highlighter, I prefer to use it as a blush topper. The result is a stunning inner glow that is not too sparkly or glittery. The best part is that you can build it up to your liking. To enhance the effect, I also like to add even more blush on top of it. This combination gives my cheeks a beautiful and radiant look.
Finishing Touches for the Eyes
As I near the end of my makeup routine, I like to focus on some simple touches for my eyes. First, I reach for the Makeup by Mario liner in the shade Perfect Brown. I apply this liner on my waterline to add depth and definition to my eyes. To complete the look, I swipe some Covergirl Clean Taupe mascara on my lower lashes. This adds a subtle touch of volume and length without overpowering the overall look.
Adding Lightness to the Inner Corners
To bring some lightness and brightness to my eyes, I grab my trusty Fenty Diamond balm. I apply a small amount in the inner corners of my eyes. This simple step instantly brightens up my eye area and makes my eyes appear more awake and refreshed. The Fenty Diamond balm is truly a game-changer, as it works effortlessly with any eyeshadow color or base I have on. It never fails to elevate my eye makeup to perfection.
Fluffing Up the Brows
After completing my eye makeup, I move on to fluffing up my brows. I save this step for last because I like to ensure that my brows are perfectly shaped and defined. Using a brow brush, I gently comb through my brows to give them a fuller and more polished appearance. This final touch adds the perfect finishing touch to my cool-toned makeup look.
Brow Routine with Dominique Cosmetics Brow Blowout Shaping Gel
This step is the most crucial in my brow routine. Currently, I am obsessed with the brow blowout shaping gel from Dominique Cosmetics. In fact, I loved it so much that I bought another bottle because I am running out of it. I use this product extensively, especially in the inner part of my brows, where I fluff them up to create the desired look. Afterward, I fluff up the rest of my brows, but I also gently press the brow hairs down to ensure they stay in place. This technique not only provides a secure hold but also gives my brows a more natural and fluffy appearance, which I have come to love after discovering it through your recommendations.
Plastering the Brows onto the Face
Once the brow product is applied, I have a little trick to make sure my brows stay in place all day. I use my finger to gently press down on my brows, effectively “plastering” them onto my face. This step adds an extra hold to ensure that my brows remain perfectly shaped throughout the day. I still love the way my brows look without this technique, but I must admit that the fluffy brow look has won me over. It adds a certain charm and evenness to my overall makeup look, which I find quite satisfying.
Empty Love and the Joy of Trying Something New
One of my favorite things is going through my makeup collection and discovering empty products. It indicates that I have truly enjoyed and used up a particular product. And I have another empty product to share with you today – it’s the Dominique Cosmetics Brow Blowout Shaping Gel. This is an indication of how frequently I reach for this product and how much I love it. It has become an essential part of my makeup routine, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re searching for a brow gel that provides both hold and a natural, fluffy brow appearance.
Your constant support and suggestions have encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with different makeup techniques. While I will always have a soft spot for my old brow routine, exploring the fluffy brow trend has opened my eyes to new possibilities and allowed me to achieve a more even and captivating makeup look. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me!
Lip Combo
For the perfect lip color, I’m going to use Charlotte Tilbury’s Iconic Nude. This neutral cool tone nude is not only beautiful but also long-wearing. The best part is that it doesn’t budge, even after eating and talking all day. It has a creamy formula that is easy to apply and blend. To enhance the longevity of the lip color, I will top it off with a little dose of colors extra toasty liquid lip. This gives a touch of pinky nude without being too light or too pink. These liquid lipsticks from dose of colors are known for their comfortable formula that doesn’t dry out the lips. With so many shades to choose from, you’ll find your perfect match. To add a bit of shine, I will apply the Pixie Honey Sheen lip gloss right in the center.
Finishing Touch
To set everything in place, I will use the Lis Natural Finish Setting Spray. This will help to keep the makeup intact throughout the day or night. It provides a natural finish without making the skin feel heavy or overly matte.
Overall, this cool-toned makeup look is perfect for any occasion. The lip combo of Charlotte Tilbury’s Iconic Nude and dose of colors extra toasty liquid lip gives a beautiful and long-lasting result.
