Beauty Glazed Foundation
Her butt is supposed to be for like under your eye, my skin, officially hates me because of this challenge. I ordered the worst rated makeup. Products on Amazon and today were going to be seeing. Do they actually deserve the hate or are they secretly iconic? Stick around lets find out Im also going to be reading and mythbusting some of these bad reviews to see if theyre, true or not. First up, we got the beauty glazed Foundation, I like the name. It makes me think of donuts, and here is a one star review from Lisa Lisa said I was shocked when I got this makeup today. It is 3 in Long. My lipstick is larger than this returning unopen. So here it is, I would say this is about 3. In long, this is a very normal sized lipstick. My lipstick is in fact larger than the foundation bottle. So this review is true right, like how many times could you possibly use a foundation this size, like literally twice so it does have a little pumpy top hello? Does it not work if you guys can see that clear part at the bottom thats? How much I had to like move it up to get any product? This is not even going to be close to what I need in this situation, so were going to have to hope that, like some Contour or bronzer comes into the picture, oh no, this is not good. To be fair, this Foundation was only 3 and, at the end of the video Im going to post a selfie on my story and ask you guys if you notice anything different and if you think my makeup is good.
Revlon Youth Fix Concealer
Upon receiving the Revlon Youth Fix concealer, I was excited to try it out despite its low rating. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I attempted to use the product. The very first time I clicked the bottom of the concealer, the sponge at the end ripped off, leaving me puzzled and frustrated.
I tried multiple times to get the concealer to come out, clicking away with no success. After numerous attempts, I realized that the concealer was actually darker than my foundation, which made me question its purpose as a concealer.
Despite the challenges I faced with the Revlon Youth Fix concealer, I decided to mix it with my foundation in an attempt to create a more suitable shade. Unfortunately, this only resulted in further disappointment as the product failed to blend seamlessly on my skin.
False Advertisement
As I continued to apply the concealer-foundation mixture, I couldn’t help but feel deceived by the product’s false advertisement. The packaging promised a flawless finish, but the reality was far from it. The puffy ball at the end of the concealer only added to my frustration as it continued to detach with each use.
It became clear to me that the Revlon Youth Fix concealer was not worth the low price I had paid for it. The poor quality of the product made me question the legitimacy of the positive reviews it had received on Amazon.
Contour and Highlighter
Now we got our contour and highlighter and they’re both from the same brand. Here’s what they look like. Let’s read some of these reviews. I was trying this out and the sponge came off and I could not use it. I ordered it again and the same thing happened. It’s also super watery and drips product everywhere. Now this one’s about the Contour, it’s extremely hard to blend, and it doesn’t act as a contour at all, it’s cheaply made. Don’t waste your money, the applicator cap broke after using it.
Highlighter Test
I think this one is the highlighter, so I’m just going to squeeze it. Okay, wait! No, this one’s definitely the highlighter. Alright, I’m swatching the highlighter on my hand. To be honest, it just kind of feels like Vaseline and I think it’s probably going to dissolve our foundation underneath, but we’re going to do it anyways.
Contour Test
Well, do it there? Oh God, we’ll do it here, maybe here eyeballs. Now I guess that makes this one the Contour, which oh no, I feel like that’s not supposed to happen. She’s coming out, she’s coming out: okay Contour here, so it definitely acts like a contour, and these were both 4 low key. Why is the Contour not that bad? I kind of love the puppy balls didn’t rip off. For me, the highlighter definitely did nothing, but the Contour one was actually pretty good. I think that myth is busted.
Liquid Blush Test
Now we have some liquid blush and she was 9, so she was one of our more expensive products.
Trying the Blush
It looks like so far our review says it was too light, also caused my skin to be red bumpy and itchy, amazing, so good, I love when they say stuff like that. You know it just makes me really excited to put this on my face. Okay, so here’s what it looks like that’s like an interesting applicator for a blush it’s on like a lipstick applicator, but I guess oh wow, it’s definitely not too light. I don’t think it looks pretty dark. Okay, I actually blended out well it kind of disappeared. When I blended it out, okay, we definitely need like a little more. Maybe we like layer her up, okay, that’s, like a lot now so far, no itching and burning and it’s also, not too light if you layer it up. So I would say this review is busted it’s not that bad now.
Setting Powder Woes
Now we’re looking a little wet, so I would say we need some setting powder. This review says takes multiple attempts to get any powder onto the brush. I don’t care for the packaging of this makeup. It looks like a toy. It’s made very lightweight in cheap plastic feels like it’s going to break awkward to hold and twist open, looks like something you’d get out of a gumball machine, it’s overpriced at 8. It looks like a normal setting powder to me. Like does this look like something you would get out of a gumball machine Ashley? I don’t know what kind of gumball machines you’re going to there’s already powder on my brush and there’s powder in the lid, but my powders sealed up with plastic look.
Exploring the Foundation
It is completely sealed up, so where is that powder coming from? Is the question, so it only took one try for me to get product on the SP SP, so that’s not true get the forehead. All right my face is all powdered up. I got Foundation all over the sponge which, like usually doesn’t happen, so that’s not a great sign, but I would say this review is busted, like I don’t think it looks like something out of a gumball machine and the powder did what it was supposed to pleasantly Surprised here now.
Discovering Eyeshadow
This step should be fun. We are moving on to eyeshadow and we have LA Colors, 24 color, nude eyes eyeshadow tin, and this was only $5 all right. It comes in like a little tin can, but mine is like super bent up. So the lid won’t go on. Look at that dent right there. Look at that hello. What is this now we’re going to do like a little warm smokey eye moment and see if I still got it.
Introducing Preppy Merch
Now, while I’m doing this, I don’t know if you guys noticed or not, that my skincare headband and my crew neck are super stinking cute. So I actually just came out with my own skincare headbands. We got four different colors and also we have this boots crew neck. That says “you’re iconic.” So this is preppy boots merch and I also made a hot pink one. If you guys want to check them out, you can visit City Morgan.
Testing the Eyeshadow Palette
Let’s start with the plastic eyeshadow palette. Upon inspection, it doesn’t seem too bad. The colors are actually quite nice and pigmented, not what I expected from a low-rated product. Could it be that this particular palette is an exception to the rule?
The Catline Stencil and Liquid Eyeliner
Next up are the catline stencil and liquid eyeliner. The idea of a stencil to help with eyeliner application is intriguing, but execution is key. Unfortunately, the liquid eyeliner seems to be a disappointment even before use. A dry tip and no product coming out – not a good sign. Sylvia’s review of it being hard to use doesn’t bode well.
The Iconic Packaging
Despite the dry tip and lack of product, the packaging of the liquid eyeliner is iconic and visually appealing. The sparkly design is eye-catching, but will it make up for the lackluster performance?
The Moment of Truth
After attempting to use the liquid eyeliner with the catline stencil, it’s clear that the product falls short of expectations. The initial swipe seems promising, but it quickly becomes evident that there’s barely any product to work with. Perhaps a different approach to getting the eyeliner flowing is needed.
Eyeliner Experiment
There’s eyeliner, now here’s what it looks like. It kind of helped. It didn’t really help the wing, like I couldn’t make the wing that sharp so I’m going to have to do that myself, but the cat kind of helped on the inner corner. Like I feel like it’s not that bad. Let’s try the other cat on the other side. Maybe I think this would be helpful with a wing if we put this part of the cat right here and then trace this like that. See, that kind of look worked. And then for the inner corner, we’re going to use the cat’s butt. Like, right, they’re amazing. Oh no, I messed it up.
Wing Dilemma
Okay! Well, now that wing is significantly longer than this wing and then this cat right here, her butt, is supposed to be for, like under your eye, so we’re just going to put this. That kind of worked really well actually. So as for the eyeliner, the myth, I would say, is confirmed because it was dried up. The way that you open it. But if you follow me and watch my makeup hacks, you would know how to fix your problem. So it’s not dry now, it clearly works.
Eyeliner Stencils
As far as the cat eyeliner stencils, they’re really cute and fun, but I don’t think they’re that practical. I found certain ways where I feel like it does work. So I don’t know… now we have mascara.
The Three Pack
You get a three pack for for 4, I ordered a three pack of mascara. One of them had no applicator attached to the wand. The other two were totally dried up.
Testing the Mascara
Well then, I guess we have to test it, because one of these should not have an applicator okay, theres one. Is it dried up? No, it is not. Okay, number two, all right, applicator, not dried up. So, according to our calculations, this one will not have an applicator which Im sure does not actually hold on no cuz theres, no way why why is there no applicator? Are you kidding me right now?
A Little Prank
Look this ones missing an applicator just kidding. I pranked you guys. I cut it off myself, cuz Im a little prankster like the video and subscribe right now. If I got you lets test her out.
Trying the Worst Rated Makeup
Upon receiving the makeup products, the first thing I noticed was the poor quality packaging. The plastic was already torn off, indicating a lack of care in the production process. It made me question the price tag of $18 for a pair of lashes, which seemed outrageous.
Testing the Fake Eyelashes
Despite my skepticism, I decided to give the fake eyelashes a try. To my surprise, they actually stuck on quite well. While I’m not a fan of fake eyelashes on myself, I couldn’t deny that they did the job. Perhaps the bad reviews were unwarranted in this case.
Experimenting with the Liquid Lipstick
The pack of three liquid lipsticks looked intriguing at first glance. However, the reviews warning against it seemed to ring true. The product applied like a lip stain, resembling more of a homemade concoction than a professional makeup item. The rolly ball applicator didn’t help with precision either, making it a questionable choice for lipstick application.
Final Thoughts and Selfie Time
After testing out the worst rated makeup products, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment. While some items exceeded my expectations, others fell short in terms of quality and usability. Despite the mixed results, I decided to take a selfie and post it on Instagram to see what others thought of the makeup experiment. The feedback was varied, with some liking the bold look while others questioned my choice of products. In the end, it was an interesting experience trying out products with such low ratings, but it certainly won’t be a regular occurrence in my makeup routine.
Initial Impressions
We got the photo here, I think its kind of cute theres no filters on it or anything cuz. I want it to be fair and Im going to do a little poll. Do you think my makeup looks good? Yes, slle or girl? You look busted.
Sharing on Instagram
Okay, all right, we have our post all set up, lets share it to the Instagram story and see if you guys clock me or if you just you know, support me, no matter what. I’ll be back with the results guys.
Skin Reaction
So I’ve had this makeup on for a while and I’m actually starting to break out, like I have little bumps on my skin. I don’t know if you can see them on camera. Something is definitely not sitting right with me here and I’m kind of concerned. The rash and the little bumps are getting worse, so I don’t know exactly what product it’s from, but I need to get it off my skin immediately.
Results
Alright, it’s been just over 30 minutes since I posted the poll on my story and overall 65% of you said that I am slaying and 35% of you said “girl, you look so busted”. Thank you for participating. My skin officially hates me because of this challenge.
After my experience with the Revlon Youth Fix concealer, I can confidently say that this product is not worth purchasing. The subpar quality, false advertisement, and lack of functionality make it a complete waste of money.
If you’re in the market for a new concealer, I would highly recommend steering clear of this particular product and opting for a more reputable brand instead. Don’t be fooled by the low price tag sometimes, you truly do get what you pay for.
Overall, the experience of trying the worst-rated makeup products has been a mixed bag. While the eyeshadow palette exceeded expectations, the catline stencil and liquid eyeliner failed to deliver. It goes to show that sometimes, even the most visually appealing packaging can’t make up for a lack of quality in the product itself.
Well, it wasnt dried up and all three had applicators. Was it the most Pleasant mascara to use? No, not even at all its probably the worst mascara Ive ever used in my life, but it did mascara. You know the mascara did mascara at the end of the day and and nothing else we can say about it now.
Fake Lashes
This is a product we dont usually see on my channel fake lashes. I dont know why I just like they dont come up for me anymore. These ones were rated so terrible online like its actually ridiculous. The review says they dont stick and are UNR returnable.
