The Disappointing Ultru Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner
I had very high expectations for the Ultru Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner from entry. This product had been raved about, winning awards and being highly recommended. However, upon trying it myself, I was left feeling unimpressed. Despite using more than half of the product, I saw no significant improvements in my skin.
The Lackluster Moisture Plac Back
My toner routine is crucial for me, as it sets the foundation for the rest of my skincare regimen. I expected the Ultru Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner to provide my skin with moisture, firmness, and a healthy bounce. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver on all fronts. I was left feeling like my skin was lacking the nourishment it needed to thrive.
The Disappointing Ferment: A Missed Opportunity
Additionally, I was hoping that this toner would contain some fermented ingredients to further enhance my skin’s health. However, I was sorely disappointed to find that it did not have the ferment essence that I have come to love in other K-beauty products. The absence of this key component left me feeling like something was missing from my skincare routine.
Final Thoughts on the Ultru Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner
While the Ultru Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner may work well for some individuals, it did not meet my expectations or provide the results I desired. Despite giving it a fair chance, I was left underwhelmed by its performance. As always, skincare is a highly personal journey, and what works for one person may not work for another. In this case, this viral K-beauty product simply did not live up to the hype for me.
The Toner That Only Felt Like Water
This had nothing that did anything. For my skin, I just felt like I was applying water onto my skin. My skin didn’t feel any more hydrated after using this, and so it just was not something that I would consider using again. I guess for me, I like using a bit of a thicker toner, something like Hadalabo Goku-Jyun is a really really good, hyaluronic acid toner. If you’re looking for one that one is layerable, it adds bounciness and suppleness to the skin.
The Disappointing Hyaluronic Acid Serum
This, on the other hand, like I said, didn’t really do much for me. Since we’re on the topic of hyaluronic acids, I’m going to go ahead and just talk about this guy. I used this entire bottle, because I was almost in disbelief that I didn’t like this. As much as everyone else, because this has been so raved about and again I’ve seen this win so many awards – this is from Tonymoly. This is the Dabin Serum and I honestly have very similar thoughts to the hyaluronic toner I just talked about. It didn’t really do anything for my skin.
The Mediocre Sunscreen Letdown
Another product that I had high expectations for is this one here, which is from Etude House. It’s the Derma UV 365 Barrier Hydro Mineral Sunscreen. I have a very dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin type so I definitely need something more for my skin. So maybe, if you have oily skin or combination skin, you might enjoy this product. But for me, it just didn’t do anything.
The White Cast Mineral Sunscreen
Now Estera is an extremely popular brand right now and for good reason. However, one product I didn’t quite like from them is their mineral sunscreen. The white cast on this product was just unreasonable, it was very opaque and difficult to camouflage. Even I, with a lighter skin tone, had to apply makeup on top of it to try to fix the mask-like appearance it gave me. For those with deeper skin tones, wearing this sunscreen would be nearly impossible. On top of that, it felt sticky and uncomfortable on the skin, making it a less than enjoyable experience.
The Pricey Little Tube
Despite my initial optimism, I found the price of the Estera mineral sunscreen to be quite high for the amount of product you get in the tube. It felt like a bit of a splurge for something that didn’t work well for me. The stickiness of the product also seemed to linger on the bottle and cap, adding to my disappointment in the overall experience.
The Clean Up Dilemma
Another K-Beauty product that I tried to love but ultimately couldn’t was a cleanser that I kept using out of laziness. I forgot to replace it in my shower, so I continued to use it despite knowing deep down that I didn’t enjoy the formula. It became a chore to use a product that wasn’t delivering the results I wanted, leading me to finally accept that it was time to move on to something new.
BPL M Bean pH Balanced Cleansing Foam
Unfortunately, the BPL M Bean pH balanced cleansing foam did not live up to the hype for me. Despite its popularity and numerous awards, I found this product to be too drying for my skin. While it may work well for others, it simply did not suit my dry skin type. I have tried other foaming cleansers that effectively removed my makeup without leaving my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable. This particular cleanser left my skin feeling overly squeaky clean and dry, which was not a pleasant experience.
Other Be PL Products
Although my experience with the BPL cleansing foam was disappointing, it does not completely deter me from trying other products from this brand. It’s possible that their other offerings may be better suited to my skin type. As someone who is still exploring various K-beauty brands, I am willing to give Be PL another chance to impress me with their products.
Mysterious Hair Care Line
Lastly, I want to touch on the mysterious hair care products that have been raved about by many. Despite the glowing reviews and recommendations, I found that these products simply did not work for my hair type. In fact, I struggled to understand how to use them properly and did not see any noticeable benefits after using them. It seems that these products may be better suited for a different hair texture or concern, as they did not deliver the promised results for me.
Unsatisfactory Hair Care
I have very long hair, its also fine, but I also have coarse hair mixed in its like the mixed hair that I have, but I also have kind of I guess an oily scalp is so I typically wash my hair every other day or like every third Day so a couple times a week, and I felt like when I washed my hair with these, my hair still felt oily afterwards, like these made.
Ineffective Shampoo and Conditioner
My hair feel heavy and I have tried other Asian hair care products that leave my hair feeling like soft and bouncy and moisturized, and these just arent it. The shampoo didnt clean, my hair enough. The Deep damage treatment was too heavy and also this is going to be really nitpicky, but something that really irritated me about these products. These smell different, the shampoo and conditioner dont, have the same scent like this smells like a clean, shampoo smell.
Heavy Hair Products
This one has like a powdery floral smell, so make it makes sense because it didnt to me it was like really irking when I used it now, the corresponding hair products from the line. I have the same thoughts about the Silk Oil Essence and the heat guard. No wash treatment, they were just too heavy on my hair, no matter how much or how little I use this, I could feel it sitting on top of my hair. So again, my hair might just be the wrong type of hair for these types of products, but I didnt didnt like them.
The Weighty Hair Mask
Let’s start with the hair mask that left my hair feeling heavy and greasy. Despite the rave reviews it received online, I found that this product weighed down my fine hair and made it look and feel dirty. After just a couple of uses, I couldn’t bear the feeling of product buildup in my hair. It was a disappointing experience considering the hype surrounding this viral K-beauty product.
The Sticky Serum
Next up is the serum that promised to give me glowing, radiant skin. Unfortunately, what I got instead was a sticky mess that refused to absorb into my skin. The tacky residue left me feeling uncomfortable and led to breakouts on my sensitive skin. Despite the beautiful packaging and glowing reviews, this serum was a complete letdown for me.
The Irritating Sheet Masks
Lastly, the sheet masks that were supposed to hydrate and rejuvenate my skin ended up causing irritation and redness. I had high hopes for these masks after seeing them all over social media, but they ended up being a major disappointment. The strong fragrance and harsh ingredients left my skin feeling inflamed and sensitive, undoing any benefits that the masks claimed to provide.
