Reviewing TikTok Beauty Products
If you couldn’t already tell by the title of today’s video, I am going to be reviewing viral TikTok beauty products. I have literally spent so much money buying things just because they were trending, and in today’s video, I’m going to tell you if they’re worth it or not. I kid you not. I have such a long list pulled up here of all the items I’ve purchased, and I’m going to review them.
The Lip Products
These are some of the most trending and talked-about items on TikTok. They went super viral last year and are still trending now. They both retail at $40 each, which is quite insane for a lip product. The amount of product you get doesn’t seem like much for the price. As for the product itself, do I think these are worth it? No, I really don’t. I feel like the lip formula is very mediocre. The quality is equivalent to a drugstore lip oil. However, I must say, I am obsessed with the packaging. That is so cute. Out of 10, I would give these maybe a six.
The Sala Jiro Body Spray
Next up, I have the Sala Jiro body spray. I only have one flavor, which, in my opinion, literally smells the best girl. I know these come in different fragrances, but I only have 62. The scent is divine, and it lasts a long time on the skin. For the price, I would say this product is worth it. It adds a touch of luxury to your everyday routine.
Review of a Long-Lasting Body Spray
I use this body spray every day without fail and I am impressed by how long it lasts. Most body sprays tend to fade quickly, but this one lingers on me even after a full day at school. The scent is heavenly and definitely worth the price. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.
Thoughts on Hyaluronic and Niacinamide Serums
These serums have been gaining popularity on TikTok for their supposed benefits to the skin, especially in terms of improving the skin barrier and clearing acne. However, my experience with them was not as positive. The serums broke me out and had a funky smell. It’s important to note that skincare products may work differently for each individual, so while they may not have worked for me, they might work well for others. The Niacinamide Serum, in particular, had great results for me and I would give it an 8 out of 10 rating. On the other hand, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum did not impress me as much, earning a 4 out of 10 rating.
The Stanley Cup Water Bottle
Next up is not really a beauty product, but it’s been going insanely viral on TikTok. If you couldn’t already guess by the clip, the product I’m talking about is the Stanley Cup. Like everyone else on TikTok, I bought a Stanley. I didn’t just buy one Stanley. I bought two Stanleys. Besides the fact that it’s in my favorite color, honestly, the Stanley is like any other water bottle. I feel like Stanleys are more like a status symbol. If you have one, you’re trendy. Overall, it’s just like any other water bottle. It keeps your ice cool, similar to my Hydro Flask. I give the Stanley a 6 out of 10. It’s really just any other water bottle.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment
Next up is my all-time favorite product. I use this product daily, 24/7. I keep it in every single bag I own. I use it at night before I go to bed. I literally use this product every single day. I live by Aquaphor. This stuff is my Holy Grail; it is so good. It keeps my lips hydrated, and on top of that, you can use this anywhere on dry hands. Aquaphor is cheap, only four bucks. I rate it Infinity out of 10. I will use this till the day.
Urban Decay Setting Spray
One of the most hyped-up products on TikTok right now is the Urban Decay setting spray. This setting spray claims to set your makeup for 24 hours and is even waterproof. But does it live up to the hype? Many users, including myself, have experienced a major letdown with this product. Instead of keeping your makeup in place, it may actually ruin your look by spraying white specks all over your face. Not to mention, the hefty price tag of this product makes it an even bigger disappointment. I would rate this product a three out of 10.
Tree Hut Body Scrubs
In contrast to the Urban Decay setting spray, the Tree Hut body scrubs have been a pleasant surprise. These affordable body scrubs are easily accessible at stores like Target, Walmart, and Ulta. Priced at around eight dollars, the large container lasts for months. The variety of scents, from lavender to tropical flavors, makes exfoliating a luxurious experience. These body scrubs not only help to get rid of dead skin but also leave you smelling amazing. They are definitely worth the investment and I highly recommend trying them out.
Heavenly Scents
These make me smell Heavenly, currently I’m using the tropical pineapple one, and I smell like a freaking pina colada every single time I step out of the shower. I definitely recommend buying these. I give these a 9.5 out of 10.
Physician Formula Bronzers
I love these bronzers. They make me look so bronzed, and on days where I’m looking really pale, I’ll literally just put these on and boom I’m tan again – they’re so good. I love these bronzers.
