Introduction
Hey camfam, welcome back to the channel. So previously I showed you guys all the designer vintage shops that I shopped at while I was in Osaka today, its again, a Japanese themed Vlog. I’m going to be showing you my Don kihot haul, or basically, my Japanese drugstore haul, featuring all the beauty products that I bought while I was there in Japan. Are you ready?
The Hair Acne Medication
Let’s start off strong with this hair acne medication. It comes in a two-part setup and what’s nice about this is that it doesn’t make use of other ingredients that could trigger reactions in people with sensitive skin, like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Instead, this product contains ibuprofen, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It’s excellent for treating red, inflamed acne such as cystic acne or angry acne in general.
Beauty Products
These beauty products are really affordable and work really well. They come highly recommended and are some of my all-time favorites. I’m really curious about how these products work, as they have been recommended by everyone. These are mostly cult favorites, so I’m sure that some of them will be very familiar to you.
It’s also not going to be difficult to find reviews on these products, but if you’re too lazy to go through different accounts, I’m here to show you all these beautiful products that I found interesting during my trip to Japan.
Acne Calming Power
According to reviews, the Japanese skincare product is highly effective in soothing acne-prone skin. Users have reported a significant reduction in redness and inflammation after using the product. Its gentle and watery texture makes it a favorite among beauty enthusiasts.
Beauty Cult Favorite
The Theano CC Brightening Essence has become a popular choice in Japan, gaining a cult following among skincare aficionados. The essence comes in three variants – regular, premium, and anti-aging. The regular variant, distinguished by its blue packaging, is recommended for those new to vitamin C products.
Sensitive Skin Concerns
Despite being familiar with vitamin C, I decided to opt for the regular variant of the essence due to my sensitive and reactive skin. It is always advisable to start with milder products before transitioning to more potent formulations. The regular variant of the Theano CC Brightening Essence is a bestseller in Japanese drugstores, making it a popular choice among beauty enthusiasts.
Best Selling Beauty Products in Japanese Drugstore: Camille Co Haul
This product looks so much like a vitamin C serum, working wonders to get rid of hyperpigmentation dark spots. If you’re dealing with acne scars, this is the perfect solution to heal those stubborn marks left behind. The before and after videos of people who have tried this product are truly amazing, sparking my curiosity and prompting me to give it a go.
Light and Absorbent Essence
One of the standout features of this product is its lightweight feel on the skin. Marketed as an Essence, it leans more towards a serum in terms of texture but without the heavy, greasy feel. The quick absorption rate is impressive and its application process is as effortless as dropping a few drops onto the skin, patting it gently in, and you’re good to go.
Vitamin C and Sunscreen Essentials
When using products containing vitamin C, it is crucial to prioritize sun protection. Vitamin C works best when paired with sunscreen, so it’s essential to diligently apply sunscreen, especially when incorporating vitamin C into your skincare routine.
Zana Rice Mask and Pack
Another popular favorite from this Japanese drugstore haul is the Zana Rice Mask and Pack. A versatile product, it comes in both a clay mask and a sheet mask form. The clay mask variation is perfect for pore tightening and minimization, while also providing hydration and moisturization to the skin. A cult favorite product that lives up to its reputation.
Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder Wash
Your skin people say that it really is good for sensitive skin people as well. So Im really excited to try this its everywhere as well. In all the reviews also really affordable. This product Im really excited about this. The swe side, Beauty clear powder wash so its really interesting how it comes in these little tiny containers and then, when you open it up its in powder form and you mix water in and then it becomes into like a facial cleanser. So its essentially a facial cleanser and, according to my research, its really good for like clogged pores or, if you feel like youre breaking out or a pimple, is about to come out, then its time to use this its really good for exfoliating, your skin and unclogging. Your pores, but without the harsh usual exfoliating ingredients it doesnt have any of those harsh acids, but it works really really well, so Im really excited to try it. It comes in this bigger pack, but also if you want to try out the smaller one too. It also comes in that, but I felt so confident with this product that I just went ahead and got the bigger pack. I think theres, an even bigger pack than this P Im, not sure.
Hada Labo Hydrating Face Wash
This brand Im sure is not new to you, guys its been on everyones lists for the longest time, its a highly trusted brand, its the had labo hydrating face wash and my sister bought it Because, according to the reviews, its good for sensitive skin people like if you suffer from eczema like her its really good, my sister actually has already started using it.
Had Labo Hydrating Lotion
She doesn’t feel the moisturizing effect. Yet she says that she feels its tight on the skin but she’s, giving it a few days still cuz it’s only been a few days that she’s tried it and in the reviews We Trust so we’ll see another one from Had Labo this I see in all the reviews as well. It’s their Hydrating Lotion and it’s got hyaluronic, so it’s really good for hydrating and it absorbs really quickly as well. So you just put it in your palm and then Pat Pat Pat and it’s supposed to really moisturize your skin.
Bioderma Micellar Water
Another oldie. But a goodie I mean we don’t need words to explain this anymore I’m sure you guys know it it’s the Bioderma Micellar Water makeup remover, so I’ve used this before, and I just feel that if you’ve got really sensitive reactive skin, this is super safe and it removes your makeup really well as well. It comes in this type of easy dispenser already, so you can just put your cotton pad on top of it and then it just dispenses and then you can use it right away so yeah. I don’t think there’s much to say about this anymore. I mean if you’ve got sensitive skin use this Micellar Water makeup remover by Bioderma it’s one of my all-time faves.
Natur Hat Mie Skin Conditioning Gel
This one, I forced my sister to buy or highly recommended it’s the Natur Hat Mie Skin Conditioning Gel. As you can see, the beautiful Cosmi Seal is there I always believe in the Cosmi Awards.
Japanese Drugstore Haul: Hydrating and Moisturizing Goodness
Number one on the list is a skin conditioning gel that comes in various forms, such as liquid and gel. This product is highly recommended for its excellent hydrating and moisturizing properties. Users rave about how soft and supple their skin feels after using it, without any heaviness. Even those with sensitive skin have found it to be beneficial. With overwhelmingly positive reviews, this product definitely lives up to the hype.
Combatting Pimples with Korean Pimple Patch Kit
As a self-proclaimed pimple patch enthusiast, Camille couldn’t resist trying out a new pimple patch during her Japanese drugstore haul. The Hain Spot Care patch kit, although Korean, caught her attention due to winning a beauty award. With 76 patches included in one kit, it offers both square and circular patches for different stages of pimple development. Whether it’s for an emerging pimple or one that’s already popped, this kit has you covered. Camille has already started using the yellow type for bruised pimples and is pleased with the results, even though it’s not a micro needle patch.
Sunscreen Marvel
What I like about it is that it’s very thin, super thin. It applies really well, so I feel that it’s really good to use under makeup because it’s super duper thin. Another brand that needs no introduction is Bor.
So I wanted to try this particular sunscreen of theirs because I’ve been looking for a matte type sunscreen, and I saw good reviews of this as well. I’m looking for a matte type sunscreen for when I’m already out and about – and I just want to reapply my sunscreen – I just feel that it’s more hygienic in a way and it doesn’t ruin my makeup to just mist. Instead of reapplying a lotion. So yeah, that’s why – and I heard that it’s really good also for sensitive skin people like me, and I have high hopes for this as well.
Hair Treatment Wonders
For hair, I mean so. This is also a favorite, so it’s by Chiso, it’s their pheno premium touch. I’ve actually already purchased this before as well, that’s been years ago, and until now, it’s still one of the most awarded hair treatments from Japan. This is a hair treatment, and if you want to really nourish and hydrate your hair, this will put life back onto your dead hair, so yeah, highly recommend.
Then we have another one here, which is called Chubachi Premium X. Hair mask, if I remember correctly, Chubachi is also a sheo product and, according to my sister’s research.
Hair Conditioning Treatment
This is something that you can use. If you don’t have a lot of time, you don’t have to leave it on for super long and it’s able to condition your hair really well. So that’s the main difference and it’s more premium. I guess so yeah for people who have no time like me.
Dry Shampoo Sheets
Another one for the hair – this is something that I haven’t seen on reviews, but I just decided to give it a try, it’s my first time, to see this so it’s by Diane. It’s a brand that I’ve already tried before and it’s their dry shampoo for hair and body. They have, I think, another variant for this, but this one is like after a sporty day, though, so I felt maybe this is more intense. They’re basically sheets like wipes, and then you put it onto your hair and to your body. Then you’ll feel refreshed and even your hair will feel refreshed afterwards. I’m used to seeing dry shampoo in aerosol form or in powder form, but never in a sheet so I’ll let you guys know on my Ig stories how it goes. Cuz I’m really curious. How this works super super curious last for the hair.
Matage Hair Wax
The matage, how you pronounce it matage, matam, mag, hair wax, I mean, also needs no introduction. I’m sure you guys know this already it’s been number one, it’s been awarded so many times so it’s basically a hair.
The Best Selling Beauty Products at Japanese Drugstores
When it comes to beauty products, Japanese drugstores offer a wide range of high-quality items that are both effective and affordable. Camille Co recently shared her Japanese drugstore haul, featuring some of the best-selling beauty products in the market. Let’s take a closer look at some of the products she purchased.
Hair Styling Stick
One of the products Camille bought is a hair styling stick that tames frizz and stubborn hair. This stick is perfect for creating sleek ponytails or curly hairstyles. However, Camille noted that using too much of the product can make your hair look oily. It comes in two versions an intense one and a milder pink version.
Oral Care Products
Camille also purchased oral care products, including the Uchi Lemon, which won the Hero Cosmet 2022 award. This product is a gargle solution that freshens your breath and removes debris from your teeth. It has a refreshing lemony taste and is perfect for on-the-go use.
Toothpaste with COS Seal
Another set of products that caught Camille’s eye were toothpaste tubes with the COS seal. The Premo toothpaste features an extra mint premium formula that not only whitens your teeth but also provides intense cleaning. The Serena toothpaste is another option for those looking for premium oral care products.
Minty Fresh Toothpaste
I wanted to try this toothpaste because, like Camille, I also enjoy the minty flavor. However, this particular brand seems to be the original and the best. I came across it at Donki and was intrigued to give it a try. It claims to be a Serena stain care type, which is perfect for whitening. Being a number one product and a part of the Hall of Fame, I couldn’t resist picking it up. I can’t wait to try it out and see the results for myself.
Whitening Face Mask
Another item I added to my haul is a whitening face mask. I’ve heard rave reviews about this product and wanted to see if it lives up to the hype. With claims of brightening and evening out skin tone, I’m excited to incorporate it into my skincare routine. Plus, Japanese beauty products are known for their effectiveness, so I have high hopes for this one.
Hydrating Hair Serum
A hydrating hair serum caught my eye while browsing the aisles. With the constant heat styling and coloring I do to my hair, it tends to get dry and damaged. This serum promises to nourish and repair the hair, leaving it silky and smooth. I’m looking forward to trying it out and seeing if it can bring life back to my tired locks.
Thank you for joining me on this Japanese drugstore haul. I hope you enjoyed discovering these amazing beauty products with me. Stay tuned for more hauls and reviews in the future. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more content. See you next time!
