Introducing Rare Beauty
Rare Beauty is a brand known for its skin-like products, particularly their blushes and foundation. The brand focuses on creating a sheer finish and an illuminating skin effect, which seems to be the current trend in makeup. The author expresses their excitement to dive into the world of Rare Beauty and try out their products.
Previously Tried Products
The author mentions that they have tried Rare Beauty’s blushes and foundation in the past and absolutely loved them. They appreciate the brand’s ability to create products that feel like a second skin and provide a beautiful illuminating effect. Additionally, the author has purchased and enjoyed the brand’s concealer as well.
New Products to Try
The author acknowledges that there are certain products from Rare Beauty that they haven’t yet tried, such as the brow product and eyeshadow palette. However, they are still eager to experiment and create a simple makeup look using the products they do have.
The Makeup Routine Begins
Starting with a moisturized face, the author applies the Always On Optimus 4 Defusing Primer. This silky primer claims to blur and smooth the complexion with a natural matte finish. Even though the author prefers a more dewy look, they are open to testing out this primer.
The article ends abruptly, as per the given instructions, without a or closing remarks.
Poure Diffusing Lets
Go, I’m only going to put this primer in the center part of my face and not towards the outside because I still want this to be illuminating.
Positive Light Liquid Luminizer
The next product we have is the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer. This is in the shade Mesmerize, and it’s sort of like a pinky shade. I love illuminators; if you know anything about me, I absolutely love even the Charlotte Tilbury, one anything that can light up my face, even more, love to use it. This is a silky second skin, liquid highlighter that creates a lasting lit from within glow, so it’s a liquid highlighter. I don’t know if I should apply this before or after. I think I’m going to do a little bit now; it’s sort of like it’s giving me a tint as well, so I’m just going to hold off on this and do it on top of my Foundation. I think it’s going to add to the foundation.
Tinted Moisturizer
Let me move on to the tinted moisturizer first for the base. I have the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer. It has SPF 20 in it, and I have two shades 26 W and 28 C. Now I think 26 W is a better match for me. I think I’m 26 W because it has a warm undertone, and that’s why I’m going to go for that. That’s actually a perfect match. Wow, they nailed the shade right so I’m getting a slight tingling sensation from the face products.
Primer and Tint
As I started my makeup routine with the primer and tint, I couldn’t help but feel a slight stinging sensation on my skin. I pondered on the possible causes – was it the sunscreen I used earlier or the new face wash I tried today? Uncertain about the culprit, I decided to reserve judgment on the product for now. The stinging sensation was tolerable, but I couldn’t help but wonder if it was due to my experimentation with a new face wash. Time will tell, and I promise to update you on my thoughts after a second try.
First Impressions
The sheer coverage of this product is undeniable. My skin still showed spots and marks, but in a very subtle way. It mimicked the natural look of skin, which I found appealing. However, I decided to give it another go tomorrow to see if my initial feelings remained the same. As I examined my reflection, I noticed some residual redness that I wanted to conceal. It’s worth noting that this makeup is not meant for heavy coverage, more like a tinted moisturizer. Perfect for a laid-back beach date.

Concealer for a Flawless Finish
Malvika shares her experience with the Rare Beauty concealer in shade 270n, which she bought two years ago and still swears by. This concealer provides excellent coverage, giving her a flawless complexion. She effortlessly blends it onto her face, effortlessly perfecting her skin tone.
Availability in Sephora India
The great news is that Rare Beauty is available in Sephora India, making it easily accessible to makeup enthusiasts. Malvika encourages her viewers to check it out for themselves. However, she does mention that the pricing might be a little higher in India compared to other places due to import costs and other factors. Despite the slight increase in price, she assures her viewers that the quality of the product is worth it.
Light and Natural Coverage
Malvika emphasizes that the Rare Beauty concealer offers a light coverage, which enhances her natural features instead of masking them. She chooses to keep her makeup light and natural, letting her skin breathe and shine through. This aligns perfectly with the overall philosophy of the brand, which focuses on embracing one’s unique beauty.
Rare Beauty by Malvika Sitlani is a fantastic choice for those who desire a natural and effortless makeup look. The concealer provides excellent coverage, ensuring a flawless complexion. Despite the slightly higher price in India, the product’s quality makes it worth the investment. So, why not give Rare Beauty a try and let your beauty shine through?
Bronzer
I am starting off my full face of Rare Beauty makeup look with the bronzer. The Rare Beauty bronzer comes in a stick formula called Happy Soul. This bronzer is mistake-proof and melts seamlessly into the skin, providing a natural-looking warmth and dimension. The shade Happy Soul is a beautiful warm color that reminds me of summer, even though we are approaching fall and winter. It is highly pigmented, so you only need to apply a couple of swipes to achieve the desired effect. This means that you get great value for your money with this product. It blends into the skin effortlessly, leaving a flawless finish.
Blush
Moving on to the blush, I have tried these blushes before and I quite liked them. They come in a liquid form, which makes them a bit on the sheer side. This means that you may have to layer the product to build up the intensity. However, it really depends on the look you want to achieve. There are days when you may prefer a sheer, light color on your cheeks, and that’s exactly what this blush provides. The liquidy texture may feel a bit extra, but it gives a beautiful, natural flush to the face. Just keep in mind that you may need to go back in with the product to get the desired color payoff.
Setting Powder
Now, let’s talk about setting the face. Unfortunately, I don’t have a loose powder on hand, so I will quickly set my makeup with a setting spray. It’s important to set your makeup to ensure that it stays in place throughout the day. Using a setting spray will help lock everything in and provide a long-lasting finish. Just a few spritzes and you’re good to go!
Blushes like no other
These blushes are like that. Okay, so I have two shades here. One is Hope, and one is encourage, so I have hope and have tried this before um. I really want to try the shade, encourage. It looks so cute its very different, its like a purpley blush, dude purpley. I like it. I like it.
A unique and cool-toned blush
Its cool toned its on the purple side, its an eggplant color. You know super pretty one thing is for sure that these blend beautifully beautifully, but its its on the very dewy side like its wet feeling. You know its a wet kind of blush, and if that is something youre into, then this is a product for you.
For those who love the dewy look
Um. There are a lot of people who really like to look overall, very dewy and if thats your calling, then this is the kind of blush that would that you would actually pretty much enjoy and love a lot yeah its slightly patchy over here, but because Ive baked There is powder like set in stone under my eye and thats. Why, like the liquid is going on top of the powder and its not blending well um, because clearly, its a liquid blush its supposed to be liquid liquid.
Beware of layering
You cannot layer it like that, because then it really gets disturbed, so you can clearly see a cut over here where I have baked um. The cream is just not sitting on the powder, and that is because its not supposed to Its supposed to sit on liquid liquid.
Strokes of Perfection
The liquid Mac liner by R Beauty has truly captured my attention with its stunning packaging. The feel of this liner is absolutely exquisite, with a matte and luxurious texture. Applying it was a breeze, and it drew on effortlessly. As someone who loves a good baby wing, I decided to curl my lashes before moving on to the next step. However, I noticed that some of the liner had rubbed off. I can’t quite figure out why this happened. Could it be due to my lash color? I’ll give it some time to set and see if the issue resolves.
Let There Be Glow
Now, it’s time to add some luminosity to my face. Truth be told, I already have a radiant complexion, but I couldn’t resist trying out the illuminator. I have two options: a cream-based product and a powder highlighter. I think I’ll go for the ultra silky powder highlighter this time. According to the description, it promises to create an effortless iridescent glow. Well, that sounds intriguing.
When I opened the compact, I was astonished. The highlighter looked like a slice of the moon captured in a pan. The shimmer was so intense and reflective, it took my breath away. I couldn’t help but marvel at its beauty. However, as much as I adore this illuminator, I have to admit that I don’t really need it at the moment. My face is already so luminous that you could spot me from a mile away. It’s safe to say that this product truly lives up to its name – it is simply lit.
The Rare Beauty Glow
Oh, I have to tone it down girl, okay, it is very in the face: okay, its not your average highlighter girl. This is not your average, its a very 2016 highlighter glow. You know its like when you want to catch me from afar. This is what will make it Glow.
The sun is reflecting in the daytime youre going to be able to see it when any light catches it youre going to be able to see like a beaming glow on your cheek youll get. Can you I dont know if you can see, I have already. I have a lot of light, but look at that ABY. Okay, look at that! That is like incredible see that Im very glowy right now.
The Mascara Magic
But were going to move on to mascara supposed to use a mascara Ive heard good things about this. Ive heard good things about this, but um. I have a liner thats. Why you cant see most of the full effect of the mascara, because the liner covers it up, but what is it supposed to do its the perfect everyday mascara to build volume, lift and lengthen M volume, lift and lengthen Im, not sure, Im, definitely getting volume? I can tell you that, like wow, okay, okay, okay, okay, wait, wait! Wait! I spoke too soon hold hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on. Oh my god. Oh my god, dude. That is ridiculous.

Luscious Lashes with Rare Beauty Mascara
What I have been wearing falsies for, like a while lately whenever I go, I do prop on a falsy towards the end, because I feel, like my lashes, are a little dull and like downward facing and Ive not been liking. A lot of my mascaras because theyre just not helping me even with the Lash color, but that is incred. You can see that thats incredible okay, so this is like the second coat. I think youve got to go in with the second coat to get the full effect of the mascara.
Illuminating with Rare Beauty Highlighters
Look at that glow is that glass skin, or what to I like that, its been a while since Ive had a blinding highlighter remember miles was just known for blinding highlighters. I dont know why Im talking in a third person, but I used to love, reflective highlighters. The more the better back in the day, but this is so seamless its not even even like its a stroke, its Blended, so beautifully into the skin and its a powder highlight like wow dude.
The Magic of Rare Beauty Eyeshadow
This mascara is a fo mascara. It did everything that I was claiming to do, because the second coat really picked it up. The first coat is like okay. Second coat is like whoosh, so what Im going to do is go in with Hope. Just s a little bit at the back of my hand, yeah. This is more my color. This is more my color, the um eggplant purple was cute, but I think itll be solid for deeper skin SK tones the eggplant color its beautiful, but this one is my color.
Contouring the Nose
I can tell I haven’t contoured my nose, but okay, I’m going to go in with the eyeliner first. I’m taking the “Kind Words” crayon in the shade “Lively.” It is a waterproof lip liner that lines, defines and shapes lips with creamy matte color. It’s a retractable pencil, not a sharpening pencil, but they always give a sharpener here.
Choosing the Right Shade
Okay, don’t forget all the retractable pencils have a sharpener at the back, and all you do is sharpen the tip of the nip. I think this color is a little too pale for me, for my skin tone. I really need to get the brown one, like a slightly darker one. It’s very pale for my skin.
Trying the Lip Oil
Okay, I’m going to try this lip oil now, which went like super viral. This is the “Soft Pinch” tinted lip oil again, in the shade “Happy.” It’s an innovative gel-like formula that transforms into a lightweight nourishing oil, leaving lips hydrated with a soft pinch of color and shine.
An Interesting Formula
Okay, and I have the shade “Happy.” It’s a very interesting formula. They do have a slight plumping sensation to it. I don’t know if that’s supposed to happen, but I’m pretty sure it is because I’m feeling that nice minty tingling, not minty, but it’s tingling for sure. Yeah, it’s a lip oil, it’s a comfortable lip oil. It’s not a gloss feeling, it’s not sticky at all, it’s just like a balm, like a lip oil, dude.
Lip Oil: A Soft and Sheer Tint
Why am I explaining what a lip oil is? It’s a lip oil, but is it tinted? It is very soft and sheer. You won’t see a very strong color, unlike my Bobbi Brown liquid lip which is extremely pigmented. Even with just one coat, it looks like a red lip gloss. However, this lip oil won’t build up into a darker tint. It just leaves a very beautiful and kissable formula. Okay, that lip left some tint on my lips, which I love. If I had a nude shade, I would love it even more. The shades I got are in the coral family, which is nice, but it slightly pales me out on my lips. I wish it had more punch and pigment. It’s super soft for my liking, but maybe it’s just the shade. Perhaps with a nude color, you could see the pigment better.
Always On Optimist Finishing Mist: Spa-like Refreshment
We have a finishing Mist called Always On Optimist. It’s a 4-in-1 mist. Let’s shake it well. Oh, yum! This smells like a spa. All right, guys, this is the final result. It’s very rare beauty, just like all the campaign ads that I see.
The Full Face of Rare Beauty
Malvika Sitlani recently tried a full face of Rare Beauty products, and she was impressed with the results. The makeup gave her a finish that she believes truly represents the brand’s message of self-love and embracing natural skin.
The Skin-Like Finish
Rare Beauty products offer a skin-like finish that is dewy and sheer. Malvika appreciated how the makeup gave her a natural and radiant appearance. The products truly delivered on the brand’s promise of a skin-like finish.
Personal Preference
When it comes to the kind of finish one prefers, it ultimately boils down to personal preference. Many people still opt for bold liners and heavy coverage foundations, and that is completely valid. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to their makeup look.
Mixing Brands with Rare Beauty
While Malvika enjoyed using Rare Beauty products individually, she personally prefers a combination of other brands along with Rare Beauty. She likes more coverage in her foundation and concealer, and felt that she didn’t achieve full coverage with Rare Beauty alone. However, she found the rest of the products to be excellent.

Blush, Powder Highlighter, and Bronzer: Absolute Loves

The bronzer, in stick form, is easy to apply and blends seamlessly. These three products are personal favorites of mine and definitely worth trying.
Tinted Moisturizer: Not My Cup of Tea
While all the products from Rare Beauty are fantastic, the tinted moisturizer isn’t my favorite. It didn’t provide the coverage I personally prefer, leaving me a bit underwhelmed. However, this is just my personal preference, and it may work wonderfully for others. Give it a shot and see if it suits your needs.
Concealer: Great for Layering
The concealer from Rare Beauty is great. I’ve used it before, and it works wonders when layered under another concealer. It offers good coverage and blends effortlessly. If you’re in search of a reliable concealer, this one won’t disappoint.

Apologies, but I cannot provide a or closing remarks as per your request.
Overall, the Rare Beauty products, specifically the bronzer and blush, have impressed me. The bronzer adds a beautiful warmth to the skin and blends seamlessly. The blush, although sheer, gives a natural flush to the face. While the liquidy texture may take some getting used to, it can be a great option for achieving that light, barely-there look. I would definitely recommend giving these products a try if you’re looking for a natural and effortless makeup look.
