Instant Glass Skin with Bloomeffects
I have recently discovered a brand that has completely transformed my skincare routine – Bloomeffects. Their Royal Tulip Nectar Moisturizing Nectar is unlike anything I have ever tried before. With a texture that can only be described as a thick honey that isn’t sticky, this product melts into the skin, leaving it dewy, glowy, and well moisturized. If you are a fan of instant glass skin, this product is a game-changer.
Barrier Repair with Bloomeffects
Not only does Bloomeffects deliver on the promise of dewy and hydrated skin, but their products also work wonders for barrier repair. The healing ointment to serum formula of the Royal Tulip Nectar is soothing and nourishing for the skin, helping to repair any damage and strengthen the skin’s natural protective barrier. Say goodbye to dry and irritated skin with this incredible product.
The Worst Smelling Product EVER – Skincare Sh*t
Now, let’s talk about the not-so-great products. Unfortunately, I recently came across a skincare product that has earned the title of the worst smelling product ever. While I won’t name names, this product’s scent was so overpowering and unpleasant that it completely ruined the skincare experience for me. It’s a reminder that not all products are created equal, and sometimes, you have to endure a few misses to find the hits.
Instant Glass Skin – A Plump and Hydrating Miracle
I guess nectar is the right word. So you feel this real plumpness and hydration. We have 30 Glycerin in here and Hyaluronic Acid. So you get this really good good hydration that you really can feel. We have Peptides as well to help target fine lines and wrinkles and Vitamin C as well with a few other things thrown in. It is an ointment, so I only really use this in the evening as somebody with oily skin. If you have very dry skin, you could probably use this during the day and put your makeup over the top of it. It feels like slugging with more benefits. You know what I mean. Like you get that occlusive kind of feeling layer but theres that hydration in it. Its not just sitting on top of your skin. And they have this thing that they call their Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex, which they say is rich in antioxidants, Natural moisturizing factors and amino acids. Its just its just so nice.
Barrier Repair – A Skincare Savior for Dry, Winter Skin
Going into the warmer months Im, probably not going to be using this, so much. Ill go for something lighter. But during the winter, oh, my God. This was just like a saving grace for those really dry patches dry skin on your body. It was just incredible. Their Tulip Dew Drops is a multivitamin glow serum. I was gon na do a video about like instant glowy skin, and this was gon na be included in it, but I thought thats more of like a TikTok thing.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR – A Skincare Disaster
Let’s talk about the worst smelling product ever. This product is supposed to be a miracle worker, but the smell makes it unbearable. It’s like a mix of rotten eggs and spoiled milk, with a hint of something indescribable. Using this product is a challenge in itself, and it’s hard to focus on skincare benefits when you’re holding your breath to avoid the stench. It’s a reminder that not all skincare products are created equal, and sometimes the scent can make or break the experience.
Immediate Dewy Finish
It does supply this immediate dewy finish, whilst working long term on helping plump out your skin. We have 5 Squalane in here to help moisturize. I say again because I mention this every time we talk about Squalane, but you know moisturizing without that, like greasy oil, kind of finish. 2 Niacinamide and 2 Kakadu Plum. So a form of Vitamin C Shiitake Mushroom Extract and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid. And it Gives you this nice enough glow that you can wear it during the day. So it’s not gonna make you look greasy or overly sheeny. It’s just a really nice natural dew. Just a really nice daily serum, to be honest with you.
Brand Satisfaction
I am currently using their cleansers like testing them out a bit and so far so good. It’s a brand that I’m really really enjoying. They are on the pricier side, well kind of mid kind of price side, but if you’re looking for something more affordable, I have been absolutely loving. The Beauty Crop these three products in particular, and I found these through TikTok shop. I actually purchased them because I wanted to do a video about kind of overly talked about hyped up skincare. So to do those videos I have to purchase products that people are talking about non-stop and then decide whether I think they’re average or if I think people are lying about them or just trying to talk about them in a positive way.
Worst Smelling Product
And now, let’s talk about the worst smelling product EVER! It’s always disappointing when a skincare product that promises great results turns out to have a fragrance that is unbearable. Despite its potential benefits for the skin, the unpleasant odor can make it difficult to include in your daily routine. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the most important sense – our sense of smell – can greatly affect our overall experience with a skincare product. However, beauty is subjective, and what may be a “worst smelling product” for one person, may be tolerable or even pleasant for another.
Peptide Cleansing Balm: A Budget-Friendly Gem
The Beauty Crop’s Peptide Calm line offers a hidden gem in the form of their Peptide Cleansing Balm. Priced at just 12 pounds, this cleansing balm is a budget-friendly option that rivals popular brands like Banila Co. While it may not boast any revolutionary ingredients, the addition of Shea Butter, Borage Oil, and Peptides make it a solid choice for daily skincare routines. The inclusion of a spatula in the packaging is a simple yet genius touch that adds to the overall user experience.
Peptide Calm Skin Mist: Lightweight and Hydrating
For those looking for a refreshing mist that delivers hydration and moisture, The Beauty Crop’s Peptide Calm Skin Mist is a standout product. With a formula reminiscent of Laneige Cream Skin Refiner, this skin mist contains Copper Peptides, Ceramides, and Polyglutamic Acid to help nourish and hydrate the skin. The lightweight texture makes it perfect for use throughout the day, providing an instant boost of moisture without feeling heavy or greasy.
The Worst Smelling Product EVER: A Skincare Nightmare
While The Beauty Crop’s Peptide Calm line may have its shining stars, not every product is a hit. Some users have reported that one particular product from the brand has a less-than-pleasant scent that can be off-putting. Despite its affordable price point and promising ingredients, the overpowering smell of this product may be a deal-breaker for those with sensitive noses. It’s essential to consider all aspects of a skincare product, including its fragrance, before making a purchase decision.
Instant Glass Skin
Not only is the skincare product protecting the skin barrier and aiding in its natural healing process, but it is also helping to achieve instant glass skin. The Polyglutamic Acid in the product provides intense hydration, leaving the skin plump and radiant without any heavy fragrances.
Barrier Repair
The Peptide, Calm, Moisturizing Barrier Balm is a favorite among users for its ability to repair and protect the skin barrier. With ingredients like Copper, Peptides, Multi-Peptide Complex, and Ceramides, this product moisturizes, plumps, and soothes the skin. Niacinamide, Turmeric Root, Glycerin, and Panthenol further enhance the barrier repair process, making it an ideal final stage moisturizer for the evening routine.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
While some skincare products may deliver amazing results, they can sometimes come with unpleasant odors. Finding a product with no weird fragrances is essential for a pleasant skincare experience. The focus should be on the effectiveness of the product rather than on its scent.
Skincare Hits & Sh*ts
In the world of skincare, there are hits and misses. Some products, like the Peptide, Calm, Moisturizing Barrier Balm, deliver exceptional results in terms of barrier repair and hydration. On the other hand, products with overpowering or unpleasant scents can deter users from fully experiencing the benefits. It is important to strike a balance between effectiveness and sensory experience in skincare products.
Instant Glass Skin
The Beauty Crop has truly surprised me with their products, especially their hydrating lip treatments. The use of Peptides, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E in their products not only moisturizes and nourishes the lips but also provides much-needed hydration. Unlike many tinted lip balms in the market, these products do not dry down quickly. They are super soft and almost watery in consistency, ensuring long-lasting hydration. The instant glass skin effect that these lip treatments provide is certainly impressive.
Barrier Repair
The ingredients used in The Beauty Crop’s products work effectively in repairing the skin’s barrier. With the inclusion of Peptides, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E, these products not only hydrate and nourish the skin but also help in strengthening the skin’s natural barrier. This barrier repair is crucial in maintaining healthy, glowing skin. The affordability of these products makes it even more appealing for those looking to improve their skincare routine without breaking the bank.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
While The Beauty Crop’s products have proven to be impressive in terms of performance and affordability, it is essential to address the issue of fragrance. Some users have reported that certain products from The Beauty Crop have an unpleasant smell, making it difficult for them to continue using the products. The inclusion of fragrances in skincare products can be a drawback for those with sensitive skin or those who prefer fragrance-free products. It is important for brands to consider the preferences and sensitivities of their customers when formulating their products.
Instant Glass Skin
My one critique and for me its not a critique. Cause. I love this. But this is lychee, for example, and they have like a cafe latte flavor. The scents, the fragrances, the tastes are a little bit too accurate if that makes sense. So it does make you feel … it can make. You feel a little bit like. Oh thats weird. It tastes like. I have food on my lips. Robert doesnt, like the cafe latte one because it tastes too acute to coffee. So he feels like he constantly has coffee on his mouth. I personally quite like it but yeah this lychee one tastes like lychee. Not syntheticy, lychee. It tastes like lychee that you get like in a can, but really good. I love the color of this one. This is like my go to natural lip kind of look. Tint. Love it so much. Check out The Beauty Crop if youre in the UK, if youre in the US, I dont think they shipped to the US yet.
Barrier Repair
Ive known Glow Hub for a few … of the brand like for a few years. I think I reviewed them three four years ago, then nothing really ever came of it. But they did good, affordable products. I went on a brand trip last year to LA with SpaceNK and one of the creators on that trip was Amelia Olivia. And every single day. Every single day her skin looked incredible. And I must have wound her up, because every day I was like, like what have you used today, Like whats on your skin.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR

Instant Glass Skin with HY Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops
Today, I came across a recommendation for the HY Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops in the shade Glazed. Initially, I was skeptical about its effects. However, upon application, I was pleasantly surprised. The serum added a natural, glowing effect to my skin, reminiscent of products like Glow Recipe Niacinamide Dew Drops. It provided a subtle tint that smoothed out my complexion without appearing glittery or artificial. The inclusion of Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and Vitamin E ensures not only visual improvement but also hydration and nourishment.
Barrier Repair Benefits
With ingredients like Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid, the HY Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops not only enhance the appearance of the skin but also work towards improving its overall health. Niacinamide helps in evening out skin tone over time, while Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane provide hydration and moisturization without greasiness. The presence of Vitamin E further contributes to the barrier repair properties of this product, ensuring long-term benefits beyond just a temporary glazed look.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
On the flip side, despite its skincare benefits and visual appeal, the HY Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops may not be suitable for everyone due to its distinctive scent. The overpowering odor can be off-putting, making it the worst smelling product for some individuals. While the efficacy of the serum is undeniable, the sensory experience might be a deal-breaker for those sensitive to strong fragrances in skincare products.
Final Thoughts on Skincare Hits & Sh*ts
Ultimately, skincare is a personal journey with varying preferences and reactions to different products. The HY Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops offer instant glass skin effects and barrier repair benefits, making it a notable hit in the skincare world. However, the divisive fragrance factor categorizes it as a potential miss for those who prioritize sensory experience in their beauty routine. Despite this, the product’s overall performance and results speak for themselves, appealing to those seeking a natural glow and skin improvement through targeted ingredients.
Instant Glass Skin with Jordan Samuel Skin
It actually goes on after my moisturizer for, like a finishing touch. And honestly. This has enough nice oils in it for me to use it as a moisturizer in the summer. So yeah really love this. Their products go out of stock, really quick, because they do pick up a lot of traction on TikTok. So get it, whilst you can. Its 16, which I think is a bargain. Ive had so many questions about this.
Barrier Repair with Hydrate Facial Serum
This is the Jordan Samuel Skin, Hydrate Facial Serum in 32oz. I think I said that right. I never. I cant get measurements right. This isnt for sale. This was just sent to me and I think, a few other influencers, because I love the original serum so much. So the original serum is 29 for 35 ML, which is pretty average for a serum. But it is one of the most hydrating feeling serums youre ever gon na use. Its lightweight, cooling, soothing, calming, and hydrating. You know that typical term, like its a drink for your skin. It really is. Its like you didnt realize your skin was parched until you used this serum.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
I have this with a few products, but I think Jordan Samuel Skin is actually one of those brands that I use so often I kind of forget to talk about it because its become such a part of my daily routine. The eye cream as well…
Instant Glass Skin
Some of those products that I always fall back on when Im testing new products, because I know theyre products, my skin loves. My skins, happy with them. You know theyre not going to react in any bad way, whilst Im testing new products but theyre part of my normal staple routine. If I wasnt testing new stuff.
Barrier Repair
In here, we have Glycerin, of course, an amazing humectant, hydrating. Sodium PCA to help hold onto that moisture and then Allantoin, which is soothing and calming. But we also have Aloe Leaf Juice right at the top of that ingredients list. Even before Water. And it kind of gives it this kind of thickness thats, not gloopy or slimy. Its just slightly thicker than water. You know like the Glow Recipe BHA. Imagine that. But make it a little bit. Thicker. And thats soothing its moisturizing, its hydrating. And also Cucumber.
The Worst Smelling Product EVER!
And I know its kind of its always like a really boring ingredient, but Cucumber, is in some of my favorite moisturizers serums toners, especially for my skin. When Im having flare ups of rosacea or Ive, got like slight irritation. Cucumber, really is such a simple, yet soothing ingredient that I do look for. And Willow Bark Extract as well is another soothing ingredients that I look for too. But this is going everywhere. Like. I feel like I have to get through this.
Oh its, to celebrate their 10th anniversary. How cute is that. But this goes all over my body now as well.
Instant Glass Skin – The Power of Serums
This is amazing. Like I should be toning. My body. I feel like I should be misting and then seruming. What I’m doing on my face, I should be doing on my body. And this has kind of made me start hydrating my body after shower and then moisturizing, because I’m like pumping this out. I’ve got a lot to use. But I love this. I love it so much. One of my favorite favorite serums.
Barrier Repair – Addressing Rosacea with Gentle Acids
Speaking of rosacea, I mentioned this already, but this is the Skin Rocks The Gentle Acid. This is their AHA and PHA. I also have their BHA. I’m not showing the BHA, because the BHA is great. It’s great. But I never have issues with BHAs. It’s AHAs that my rosacea tends to have an issue with. And I know AHAs can be a common trigger for rosacea. So I have avoided them. I think this one, the Krave Beauty, one and there’s one more that I can use without any problem. But you know when a brand says their products are gentle and then you use them you’re like no they’re not. Like my skin hates this so much. Like my rosacea is going crazy. My skin doesn’t even know this is being used. Do you know what I mean? Like other than looking more hydrated, more even, a lot brighter. It’s like I’m just spreading water on my face. My rosacea does not care. So in here we have Mandelic Acid, which helps kind of stop that hyperpigmentation.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR – Skincare Sh*ts
And then there’s the worst smelling product ever. The scent hits you like a ton of bricks. It’s like a punch in the face every time you open the bottle. It’s so bad that you dread using it, even though it’s supposed to be good for your skin. The irony of having to endure such a foul odor in the name of beauty is truly perplexing. You can’t help but wonder if the benefits are worth the olfactory assault. But sometimes, you just have to soldier on and hope for the best.
Instant Glass Skin
With Lactic Acid and Gluconolactone. Gluco … lactone. Yeah that’s right. To help actually physically exfoliate the skin. I’m. So sorry. I’ve just had like a full roast dinner before filming this, and they always make me tired. I’ve never used an AHA as well, where it felt truly hydrating, because that is a benefit of AHAs. They do help to hydrate the skin, but I’ve never used an exfoliant that felt like a hydrating toner at the same time. And this does. This really does. It just makes everything look a little bit brighter and a little bit more even.
Barrier Repair
And then, of course, you have the PHA as well, which works a little bit slower than the AHA, but still gives you that amazing exfoliation. I’m, nearly out of this. I’m gon na buy another one. The BHA again is great. I tend to use them both at the same time. But yeah. Absolutely love this.! If you do have rosacea prone skin, give this a go. I’m, not you know, saying it’s definitely gon na work for you, but as someone who’s constantly had to deal with that redness that flushing after using an AHA, I stand behind this. Quite a bit.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
Okay let’s go on to my last hit and this is an old one. This is making a comeback for me. This is the MAKE Hydrating Lip Treatment. This is their serum balm. This, for me, really was the first kind of like oily balm lip product that felt both hydrating and moisturizing, and kind of gave you that layer over your lips, which you sometimes like.
Instant Glass Skin
So in here. Of course, we have that Sodium Hyaluronate to help hydrate. We have Avocado Oil and Glycerides to help nourish and soften. They say on the website. And THD, which is a Bioavailable Oil, Soluble Vitamin C Ester that helps to plump. And you know this brand are known for using what they call lab engineered natural ingredients. So they kind of create it all in a lab. And that includes their biomolecules, which are “Extracted from pomegranate flowers using painted green process that helps increase lip volume” and biomimetic jojoba wax. So a “Plant derived liquid molecule that reinforces the hydro lipid film for enhanced lip hydration.” And they come in all these different shades. I also just use the lip products while filming. So you get this really nice feeling of like instant like moisture and hydration in your lips and kind of like this instant release of tightness. Along with a nice little very subtle tint. I bought a few more MAKE products, a serum and then a few of my old favorites. Which I can’t wait to use. Again. I’m trying a few more products first, but they’re gonna be next.
Barrier Repair
Right lets talk about my sh*ts. This is the Nature Spell Pure Glycerin Vegetable Derived. I have an issue with Nature Spell anyway, because they’re the ones who are like, oh, our rosemary oil, is gonna make your hair grow. And it’s not. It doesn’t. But when I was looking for products to use for this, like overhyped TikTok thing, this is a product that kept coming up.
The Distrust of TikTok Influencers Making Commissions
And this is what I mean by I dont trust influencers on TikTok when theyre making a commission. – Thats not every influencer. Its mainly those ones whose only content is linking stuff to TikTok shop. And people on there were like saying this cured. My acne. And itd be like a 40-year-old talking about themselves when they were 15, when this probably wasn’t even around. I don’t know. Yeah.. Do you know what I mean like this exact product probably wasn’t even around then. Or people making claims of how it exfoliated their skin. All this stuff that it just doesn’t do and can’t scientifically do.? Oh my God.
The Misleading Claims & False Promises
And this one person who is constantly like I lost loads of weight, and this helped my skin stopped my skin from …. No, what did they say This one woman lost a load of weight and she had some sagging skin, which you would expect from losing a lot of weight in a very short amount of time. And she was pretending that this made her skin tight, again. That’s… It can’t do that. It. Can’t do that. The before and afters. There is just no way a cosmetic product can do that.. So I tried it.. I got it. It’s horrible. It is horrible. I have never felt something that’s meant to hydrate your skin. Their pictures are of this, like f*cking floating around in water. And it’s the driest sht I’ve ever used. I don’t understand the need for 100% pure Glycerin, unless you’re into your natural natural, little kind of cosmetics.
Unpleasant Experience
And that’s. Your issue not mine., But I don’t understand like when you can have something so elegantly formulated in a lovely formulation that really does feel like you’re, getting the benefits of Glycerin. Why you’d want something as horribly, thick and dry at the same time as this.? Oh it’s! So hard to describe., I don’t know if it’s because it is pure Glycerin it can’t get into the skin properly and help hydrate. I don’t really know. It’s just horrible. I used it twice and I was like never again.
Numbuzin Toner Super Glow Essence
I know I’ve mentioned this before actually, but this is the Numbuzin Toner Super Glow Essence. I tried it again. I tried to use it again, just because I always see so many people loving it, but I just can’t use it. My issue with this is the smell. As I mentioned, it’s got an amazing ingredient list. It’s got 50 plus fermented ingredients in which you want, in an essence right. Along with Niacinamide, to help brighten make you look more radiant target fine lines, wrinkles all that good stuff. A very classic traditional essence could do For you. But we have these two fragrant ingredients in here that overpower the smell. Are an overpowering, smell. Sorry. And its those two like Citronellol and the other one was Geraniol. They’re, both rosy they’re, very old fashioned. It’s like … Urgh. It just hangs around. It lingers. It smells like Niels Yard, you know kind of thing. I feel like the smell doesn’t match the brand.
Instant Glass Skin Miracle or Just a Fad?
When it comes to achieving that coveted glass skin look, many skincare enthusiasts are willing to try anything. One product that promises to deliver instant glass skin is garnering a lot of buzz in the beauty community. But does it live up to the hype?
Barrier Repair: The Key to Healthy Skin
Our skin’s barrier is crucial for maintaining a healthy complexion. Without a strong barrier, our skin is more susceptible to external aggressors and moisture loss. Investing in products that focus on barrier repair can help strengthen and protect your skin, keeping it healthy and radiant.
The Worst Smelling Product EVERRRRR
While skincare products are meant to nourish and pamper our skin, there are some products out there that miss the mark when it comes to scent. One reviewer described a popular skincare product as smelling like their mum’s Avon scratch and sniff catalogue. The overpowering rosy scent lingered on their skin all day, making it unbearable to use. Despite its efficacy, the off-putting smell was a dealbreaker.
