Were These Products Worth It?! | Empties | Julia Adams

Body

First, let’s talk about the biotherm Le body wash. I have to admit, I really enjoyed its milky consistency. It felt incredibly hydrating and didn’t leave my skin feeling dry. However, the scent was a major downside for me. It took me a while to finish the whole bottle because I just couldn’t get past the smell. So, while I loved the formula, I won’t be repurchasing this one.

On the other hand, the nessag body wash has become a staple in my shower routine. I even have the refill container for it, which is great for the environment. I was able to refill it twice with this one bottle, which is amazing. The scent, eucalyptus, is my absolute favorite. It’s so refreshing and invigorating, perfect for waking me up in the morning. Plus, it has nice enamide in it, which helps to brighten up my skin. I will definitely continue repurchasing this one.

Face

Now let’s move on to the face products. The first one I want to mention is the Pixi Glow Tonic. This toner has received a lot of hype, so naturally, I had high expectations. I have to say, it definitely lived up to the hype. It helped to exfoliate my skin gently and left it feeling smooth and radiant. I already have a backup of this because I can’t imagine my skincare routine without it.

Next up is the Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser. This cleanser is loved by many, but unfortunately, it didn’t work well for my skin. It left my face feeling stripped and dry, which is not what I look for in a cleanser. I know it works for a lot of people, but it just didn’t work for me. I won’t be repurchasing this one.

Makeup

Moving on to makeup, I have two products to talk about. The first one is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. I have to say, this foundation really impressed me. It provided great coverage and lasted all day without caking or sliding off my face. The shade range is also incredible, so I was able to find a perfect match. I will definitely be repurchasing this foundation.

The second makeup product is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This concealer is a cult favorite, and for good reason. It has great coverage and blends seamlessly into the skin. It also doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines. I have gone through multiple tubes of this concealer and will continue to repurchase it.

Hair

Lastly, let’s talk about hair products. I recently finished the OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner. These products smelled amazing and left my hair feeling soft and nourished. However, I did notice that they weighed my hair down a bit, especially if I used too much product. So while I enjoyed using them, I don’t think I will repurchase them in the future.

Overall, I had a mix of hits and misses with these empties. Some products were definitely worth it and will continue to be repurchased,

The Body Wash

The body wash that I’ve been using is absolutely fantastic. It sets up really nicely, lathers well, and does an excellent job at washing my body. Not only that, but it also leaves a delightful light fragrance that lingers on my skin. Out of all the body washes I’ve tried, this is by far my favorite. I can definitely see myself repurchasing it without a doubt.

The Multivitamins

I’ve been taking multivitamins from a brand called Ritual, and I must say, they are incredible. I enjoy taking a multivitamin because it saves me the hassle of figuring out what nutrients I might be lacking. This particular brand covers all the bases and fills in any nutrient gaps in my diet. The best part is that these multivitamins come in a mint flavor, which I absolutely love. I usually struggle with the taste of traditional vitamins, but the essence of mint eliminates that issue for me. They also offer a lemon flavor, which is interesting. Overall, the multivitamins are fantastic.

The Symbiotic Prebiotic

Recently, I incorporated a symbiotic prebiotic from Ritual into my routine. It’s supposed to be beneficial for gut health, but I can’t say for certain if it’s made a noticeable difference yet. I think I need to give it a bit more time to see its effects. However, I must mention that I usually suffer from anxiety-induced IBS, and since starting this prebiotic, I haven’t experienced it as frequently. So, there might be some positive impact there. Overall, I believe this symbiotic prebiotic is a valuable addition to my routine.

The Skin Supplement

Last but not least, Ritual also offers a skin supplement that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, the details about this specific product are not provided, but based on my experience with the brand, I would highly recommend giving it a try. Ritual has proven to be reliable and effective with their products, so it’s safe to assume that the skin supplement would be worth it as well.

That wraps up my thoughts on these products from Ritual. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the body wash and multivitamins, and I am hopeful about the symbiotic prebiotic and the skin supplement. If you’re looking for high-quality products that deliver results, I highly recommend checking out Ritual.

The Haera Daily Skin Hydration

I feel like it’s helped my skin on my face as well as my body. It’s the Haera Daily Skin Hydration. It just really helped my skin out. I visibly saw my skin feeling more plump and hydrated. I’ve been taking this one for, I believe, like 6 months now and I’ve really noticed a difference, especially when I see my skin in videos before introducing this, so I’m going to continue.

Ritual

Taking all of these, I really like Ritual. This is a for sure, yes, and that was already it for body care. I feel like I’ve been really jumping around in that category, so I guess that makes sense, but now let’s get into skincare.

Cleansers

So starting with cleansers, I have one oil cleanser here. This is the Floris cleanser and it is incredible. I think this is my new favorite oil cleanser. It is so incredibly effective, especially in the removal of the Cleo kill lash. I started using this before I introduced this mascara to my life and I had no issues with removal, and after I started recommending this mascara, so many of you were like, “How the hell do you get this mascara off? It’s like impossible!” And I was like, “What? I don’t struggle with taking it off at all.” And then I tried my other cleansing oils and balms, and it would not remove this stuff for the life of it, so this is super effective. It melts off my makeup in seconds and it also emulsifies really, really quickly.

Product Review: Empties | Julia Adams

When it comes to skincare, finding the right products can be a hit or miss. In today’s article, we will be exploring Julia Adams’ review of some popular skincare items. Let’s dive in and discover if these products were worth the hype!

Cleansing Bombs: Effective or Not?

One of the standout products for Julia is the cleansing bomb. According to her, when you introduce a little bit of water, it creates a milky texture that helps emulsify the oil cleanser. This ensures the removal of makeup, SPF, and other impurities from the skin. She praises the effectiveness of this particular cleansing bomb, saying it surpasses her previous favorite.

Despite still liking her previous cleanser, Julia claims that this new one is far more effective and efficient. Not only does it remove makeup and dirt in a shorter amount of time, but it also leaves her skin feeling clean and refreshed. She even repurchased it multiple times, solidifying its place as her new go-to product.

A Well-Designed Container

Another aspect Julia loves about this cleansing bomb is its container. She compliments the design of the straw inside the bottle, which resembles a branch. The straw’s purpose is to ensure that every last drop of the product is easily accessible without any struggle. This attention to detail and functionality impressed Julia, adding to her positive experience with the product.

A Fading Love

However, not all products lived up to Julia’s expectations. She discusses another cleanser that used to be her favorite but no longer has the same impact. Initially falling in love with its balancing properties, Julia noticed that her skin worsens when she uses it now. It seems that her love for this particular cleanser has quickly come and gone.

Julia shares that she would have to use this cleanser multiple times to ensure all her makeup is removed at the end of the day. This decrease in effectiveness is disheartening and makes her question why her skin reacts differently to the product now. The once cherished cleanser has lost its charm and seems to no longer meet Julia’s needs.

Reviewing the Sarah V Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser

I recently decided to discontinue the use of a particular product, and that is the Sarah V Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser. I kept this cleanser in my shower, and initially, I was impressed with the amount of product you get. It seemed like a good deal.

The cleanser did its job when it came to cleansing my skin without stripping it too much. It was able to remove my makeup effectively. However, I must say that I did not notice any significant improvement in my skin after using this product. It did not do anything spectacular or extraordinary.

While I may consider repurchasing this cleanser in the future, it certainly is not at the top of my list. It was average, and I believe there are better options out there that can provide better results.

The SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser: A Game-Changer

On the other hand, there is one cleanser that has truly impressed me, and that is the SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser. I have been a huge fan of this product for over a year now. It has become a staple in my skincare routine.

This cleanser has proved its worth, especially when I was dealing with perioral dermatitis. To my surprise, the SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser managed to clear up my dermatitis within a week. I never expected benzoyl peroxide to be so effective in treating my condition, but it truly did wonders.

I now use this cleanser whenever I experience breakouts or notice the onset of perioral dermatitis. It has become my go-to remedy for such skin issues. I highly recommend it to anyone who struggles with similar problems.

A Word of Caution and Final Thoughts

Before you rush to pick up the SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser, let me give you a word of warning. Be careful when using this product with colored towels, as it tends to bleach them. I have had to retint my eyebrows multiple times because this cleanser tends to remove the tint from them.

Despite this minor inconvenience, the SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser is a product I would repurchase without hesitation. It has consistently proven its efficiency and effectiveness, making it a must-have in my skincare arsenal.

The Sarah V Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser may be average and not worth repurchasing, but the SRA Acne Foaming Cleanser is a game-changer. It delivers exceptional results and is a reliable remedy for breakouts and perioral dermatitis.

Peach and Lily Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser

This product is my absolute favorite at the moment. The Peach and Lily Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser not only effectively deep cleanses my skin, but it does so gently. I particularly love the texture of this cleanser. It comes out in a perfect gel blob that is slightly grainy, which adds a playful element to my skincare routine. The gel feels incredibly nice and smooth on my skin, and it sets up beautifully. It effortlessly removes any residue left behind from my cleansing oil, and I only need to use it once to achieve a thorough cleanse.

First Beauty Facial Radiance Dark Spot Serum

Another staple in my skincare routine is the First Beauty Facial Radiance Dark Spot Serum. I have been using this serum for a long time and it has become my go-to for addressing dark spots and improving the texture of my skin. I apply it in the morning before putting on my makeup, and I truly believe it makes a difference. Whenever I have breakouts that leave marks or scars, this serum helps to brighten those spots quickly.

Reviewing the Products: Empties by Julia Adams

I have repurchased this and it’s still in my morning routine. I don’t use this every single day. I will use it like three times a week and the other one is also a skincare staple of mine, it’s the Koda leino perfect radiant serum. This kind of does a similar thing to ninite; it’s really amazing at brightening and correcting your overall complexion. I like to use this one at night because it’s a little bit of a rich, more slippery texture and I feel like that texture is better suited for me and my oily skin at night.

Moisturizers: Finding the Perfect Fit

So, I have a few moisturizers here. This one’s kind of funny; it’s the refill to this moisturizer here from Kota. It’s the cream. I love this in the summertime. This was my go-to moisturizer. It’s really nice and thick, and I feel like it improved my skin until it didn’t. I believe it was around September where my skin felt like it went to, and my skin just started to reject this one. I guess it makes sense if I feel like I’m not truly ready to introduce this into my skincare routine.

The Quest for Anti-Aging: A Rollercoaster Ride

This is an anti-aging moisturizer, but I was really drawn to the claims that it helped to brighten up your skin and overall tone and – and I wanted it to reduce fine lines and plump my skin to the max. And I feel like it did in the Summer; my skin looked amazing. But I’m not going to repurchase it anytime soon. I’m going to see how my skin reacts to it in a few months, but right now, I’m using my more winter moisturizers, which are the ones that are coming up right now.

Note: The provided text is quite fragmented and lacks clarity in certain parts, so the article might sound a bit perplexing.

Biotherm Sarah per Barrier Cream

I have been using the Biotherm Sarah per Barrier cream for a while now. This product is perfect, especially during the winter when my skin tends to feel dehydrated and in need of deep moisture. It does an amazing job at correcting and repairing my skin’s barrier. I have put in a lot of effort to repair my barrier over the past few years because I was addicted to skincare acids. I used to apply multiple acids every night, which ended up over-stripping my skin and making it sore and unhealthy-looking. The Biotherm cream has been instrumental in healing and rejuvenating my skin.

A Versatile Moisturizer

Now, however, I don’t rely on this cream solely for repairing my skin’s barrier. It has become a favorite rich and deep moisturizer that works well with my oilier skin type. I love using it as a base under my makeup when I need that extra hydration. However, I don’t use it every day anymore. For my everyday moisturizer, I prefer the Belief True Cream Aqua Balm. This lightweight gel moisturizer is perfect for me. It hydrates my skin to the maximum and leaves it feeling soft, glowy, and not at all heavy or oily. It is an incredible product that I continue to repurchase over and over again.

The Importance of SPF

Moving on to sunscreen, I was a huge fan of the Belief True Cream Aqua Balm sunscreen.

Product Review: Sunscreen

I have been using this sunscreen for a long time, and I must say, it has been my go-to product. There are several reasons why I love this sunscreen – firstly, it doesn’t have that typical sunscreen smell that most products have. It also sinks into the skin quickly, without leaving behind any greasiness. The best part is that it doesn’t leave a blue or white cast on my face, which is a common issue with many sunscreens. Additionally, my makeup layers beautifully over it, making it convenient to use on a daily basis.

However, I must admit that I use sunscreen religiously, and therefore, I go through it quite quickly. This product felt a little pricey to me considering how often I need to repurchase. That’s when my best friend Aly recommended the Beauty of Jos sunscreen, and I haven’t looked back since.

Product Review: Beauty of Jos Sunscreen

I decided to try out the Beauty of Jos sunscreen based on Aly’s recommendation, and I must say, I have been thoroughly impressed. This has become my new go-to SPF product. The first thing I noticed is that it is a little bit lighter than the previous sunscreen I used. It dries down to a gel cream-like texture, which is perfect for my skin type, especially when I want to apply makeup on top.

This sunscreen performs just as well as the previous one, if not better, and it comes at a lower price point. It was a no-brainer for me to switch to this product. I have been extremely happy with its performance, and it has become an essential part of my skincare routine.

Product Review: Cleo Kill Lash Mascara

Now let’s talk about my favorite mascara, the Cleo Kill Lash mascara in volume curling. I can never stop raving about this product. It has always been my number one favorite, and for good reason.

Recently, I went through a breakup and cried my eyes out. Surprisingly, this mascara did not budge at all. I even slept with it on because I couldn’t be bothered to wash my face, and it stayed on flawlessly for two days straight. This kind of longevity is truly impressive, and it only solidified my love for this mascara.

These products have been worth every penny. The sunscreen options have provided me with the protection I need without any inconveniences, and the Cleo Kill Lash mascara has proven itself to be not only long-lasting but also reliable in emotionally challenging times. I highly recommend giving these products a try!

The Amazing Deess Oi Line

The Deess Oi line of hair care products has been my go-to for quite some time now. From the shampoo to the conditioner, the hair oil to the hair milk, these products have never let me down. They are incredibly hydrating, yet they miraculously manage to avoid weighing down my hair or making it feel greasy. In just a few days, my hair feels refreshed and revitalized, even during the harsh winter months. And let’s not forget about the scent – it is truly one of my all-time favorite fragrances. I would use it as a body spray if I could.

A Miracle Worker for my Hair

I have always wondered what magic Ruku oil possesses because it truly works wonders for my hair. Thanks to this oil, my hair always looks shiny, smooth, and hydrated. Even during the dry winter season, it never fails to keep my locks looking their best. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a hair product that will give you the ultimate shine and hydration, look no further than Ruku oil.

The Color-Depositing Mask

During my transition from red hair to brown hair, the IGK Brown Bella Color-Depositing Mask was a lifesaver. Not only did it help maintain the richness of my brown hair, but it also prevented the red from shining through too much. I love how it now highlights the red in my hair, giving it a beautiful dimension. This mask has been a game-changer between my salon visits, keeping my hair looking rich and vibrant.

All in all, these products have been worth every penny. From the ultra-hydrating Deess Oi line to the miraculous Ruku oil and the color-depositing mask, they have consistently delivered outstanding results. My hair has never looked or felt better. I highly recommend giving these products a try if you’re looking to elevate your hair care routine. You won’t be disappointed.

Product Review: Hair Dye

I recently tried a hair dye product that promised to deposit color and provide a moisturized feel. I applied it to my dry hair and left it on for an hour until it dried and became crusty. After washing it out, I was pleased with the results. My hair felt moisturized and the color was vibrant. I would definitely consider purchasing this product again, maybe in a different shade.

Product Disappointment: Drunk Elephant Silk Amino Mega Moisturizing Masker

There is one product that I unfortunately cannot recall having any positive experience with. It is the Drunk Elephant Silk Amino Mega Moisturizing Masker. I used it as a conditioner, but it didn’t leave any lasting impression on me. It just didn’t seem to do much for my hair. As a result, I have decided not to repurchase this particular product. It’s surprising because I used to recommend it highly, but my recent experience has been underwhelming.

Product Regret: Moroccan Oil Weightless Hydrating Mask

The Moroccan Oil Weightless Hydrating Mask is another product that I have mixed feelings about. Although I still have some left from my previous purchase, I have come to discover other hair masks that are far more effective and worth the investment. In fact, these alternative options work even better than the Moroccan Oil mask, and I have grown to dislike its texture. To be completely honest, just looking at it makes me feel a bit nauseous. It has a slimy, chunky consistency that I find unappealing. I apologize for the graphic description, but it truly is the only way to describe it. I have definitely learned my lesson and will be exploring other hair masks in the future.

The Disappointing Hair Mask

Whenever I rinsed this one out, I feel like it left my hair, not feeling freshly conditioned or moisturized it just kind of felt like I just shampooed, so I feel like it didnt leave that rich hydration in my hair, like I want when I use a hair mask.

The Amazing Hair Mask

But here’s one of my favorites now, it’s the Coco and Eve sweet repair, repairing and restoring hair mask. This one has ceramides hyaluronic acid and vegan Keratin Complex. So I do have this one. I received an extra in PR recently, but this is amazing. It really made my hair super silky and shiny, and it does all of the things and it makes it super smooth and easy to work with. It smells great and a little bit of it goes a long way like you don’t really have to like really dig in there. Um it stretches well. This is one of two of my favorite hair masks. My other favorite is the holy roots from Fable and M.

The Big Daddy Styling Product

I have two styling products here. This first one is the Big Daddy version of the Redken one United. This one has 25 benefits I’m, not going to read them all, but its like a leave-in conditioner that also protects your hair and makes it super shiny without it being very heavy. It leaves in good hydration for a few days like you, don’t have to touch it up, it does it all.

Product Review: Were These Products Worth It?! | Empties | Julia Adams

Smaller Version, Big Results

This product truly delivers on its promises, and I will continue to use it. I even repurchased a smaller version because I couldn’t get enough of it. What sets it apart is that it never leaves a greasy heavy stringy feel in my hair, no matter how much I use. It effortlessly keeps my hair feeling fresh and manageable, making it a must-have in my beauty routine.

The Last Product: A Dry Shampoo Favorite

Now, let’s talk about the final product in this review, which should come as no surprise – it’s my favorite dry shampoo, and it’s still going strong. I made sure to stock up on a few during the last Vib sale, and I’m glad I did. The Moroccan oil dry shampoo for dark tones is a game-changer. The fine texture of this product means that a little goes a long way, instantly making my hair feel as if I just washed it. It not only helps me extend the days between washes but also adds a significant amount of volume. Truly a multitasking superstar, this dry shampoo is an essential in my hair care routine.

All Good Things Must Come to an End

And now, we’ve reached the end of my empties. These products have truly impressed me with their performance and results. I hope you enjoyed the insights I shared in today’s video. If you did, don’t forget to give it a thumbs up as a token of your appreciation.

Remember, the right beauty products can make all the difference in your daily routine. So, whether it’s a hair product that never lets you down or a dry shampoo that transforms your locks, choose wisely and enjoy the benefits.

Judging from Julia Adams’ review, it is evident that not all skincare products are created equal. Some succeed in exceeding expectations, while others simply don’t deliver the desired results. It’s essential to pay attention to how our skin reacts to different products and make choices accordingly.

As we embark on our skincare journey, we can certainly learn from Julia’s experiences and use them as a guide. Ultimately, it’s up to each individual to decide which products are worth the investment and which ones fall short. After all, beauty is subjective, and what works for one person may not work for another.

In the world of beauty and hair care, not all products live up to the hype. It can be disappointing to invest in something only to find out it doesn’t work for you. In the case of the hair dye, it delivered on its promises and I would consider repurchasing it. However, the Drunk Elephant Silk Amino Mega Moisturizing Masker and the Moroccan Oil Weightless Hydrating Mask fell short of expectations. It just goes to show that personal preferences and experiences play a significant role in finding the right products. Finding the perfect hair care routine can be a journey of trial and error, but it’s all part of the process.
