Okay, I had gone to Sephora to actually get the Dior lip oil and they didn’t have the kinds that I wanted. So I was like okay, I’m just going to try the Fenty lip oil. Listen, all my girls that wear CarMax, if you know, know you know. When you don’t wear CarMax, your lips get cracked. But baby, let me tell you about this Fenty lip oil. It’s amazing!
This is what it looks like and it smells so freaking good, y’all. I wish you could smell it. Not only does it make your lips feel moisturized and nourished, but the cherry scent is heavenly. It’s not overwhelming, but just the perfect amount of sweetness. And the best part? It’s not sticky like some other lip oils I’ve tried. It glides on smoothly and feels so comfortable on the lips.

I came across a sponge and a setting brush as well. And then there was this one brush that claimed to be perfect for face, eye, cheek, and lip application. I found it really helpful that each brush had a description of its purpose. So now, I have a wide range of brushes for all my makeup needs.

Fenty Beauty Product Review
The next item on my list was foundation. Unfortunately, I couldn’t remember the exact color the salesperson recommended, so I ended up buying two different shades. I wanted to make sure I had the right match for my skin tone. In the store, I didn’t have the chance to try them on, so it was a bit of a gamble.
The brand I chose was Maybelline Fit Me. I went for the “Matt and Poreless” formula, as my skin tends to be oily. I’m hopeful that this foundation will provide a smooth and flawless finish, without emphasizing any pores or shine issues.

So I got these two and I’m not one to like really take back to the store, so, whichever one I can’t use I’ll probably give it away or just keep it for when I can use, you know, when the seasons change your skin get light, you get dark. Who knows? But for the makeup girls out there, how do y’all match your foundation? I see people like put it on their hand. I see people match it with their neck, swipe it on their face. I also got the e.l.f grip primer. This stuff, like I used this when I took my makeup class too, and this really work really work like you can tell 10 out of 10 highly recommend.
I bought this tarte shape tape concealer in the color 475. It’s in the color 475, a deep sand, and this was expensive. Like, I could have got me a little e.l.f. or some other kind of, and this is not even the one I wanted. The one I actually wanted had a little like gold tone. I don’t know, makeup, you look one way in the bottle and then when you put it on, it looks another way. So we’ll see about this. I could have got me some LA Pro girl concealer. That’s what that stuff called.
I also got this black opal. Is it going to focus? No? Maybe there it is.

Next up is the Morphe brow pencil in the shade Java. It claims to have a brush on the end for easy grooming. Let’s see…Oh, it seems I was mistaken. It doesn’t have a brush, just a pencil. That’s a bummer, but I’ll still give it a try and see how it performs.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
I also purchased the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder in the shade Translucent Honey. This loose powder is meant to set makeup and give a flawless finish. I’m not entirely sure if this shade will suit my skin tone, but I will find out once I apply my makeup. My main goal is to achieve a golden tone, so hopefully, this powder will help me achieve that look.
Milani Highlighter
I decided to try the Milani highlighter, but I must admit that I don’t like it much. The shade doesn’t seem to suit me, and I think I will need to go back and find another highlighter that works better for my complexion. I want to find something that gives my skin a beautiful glow without looking too artificial.
Juvia Place Bronzers
Lastly, I purchased the Juvia Place bronzers in the shade Dark. The makeup artist I saw previously used this product on me, and I loved the effect it had on my skin. I know I keep saying that I’m going to be consistent, but this time I’m determined to follow through. In the past, I only managed to post consistently for a short period, maybe three videos in total. This year, however, I’m aiming to create more content and make it my source of income.
