This is a Sheer Foundation
Now I dont believe Ive reviewed this, so lets give it a go. So I purchased a few Shades. I think Im going to start with W4 and well see where it takes us now. My skin is completely clean and theres, nothing on it at all. No primer, no moisturizer, so Im just going to apply a few drops.
A Natural Buffing Effect
Look at this camera little monkey. Okay! So Im going to apply a few! Oh this camera! A few drops well see where it takes us, so here its pretty sheer. It is sheer okay, so lets just buff it in so this is I mean this is face and body it is face and body now they used to do. They still do, but they used to do um. You know 120, Ms of it it was a big bottle and now theyve got this one and they make it in a 50 mil bottle for pretty much almost the same cost, which is quite depressing cuz.
A Beautiful, Skin-like Finish
I loved you know I loved loved that Foundation. It was one of the first foundations that actually looked like skin. Now this looks like skin its beautiful. I mean it really does. Look like SK its not covering so heres. The thing with Mac face and body is the reason there was 150. Ms is because it didnt offer amazing coverage, so you would kind of have to often times dip back in, like Im kind of having to do here for certain areas, but its beautiful.
Subtle Radiance
This foundation, the slightly modified version of the original Mac face and body, does offer a hint more radiance. However, it’s important to note that this difference is barely detectable. When you see it on me in real life, you have to keep in mind the presence of these bright lights, which can really make a difference in how it appears.
Invisible on Skin
The amazing thing about this foundation is that it doesn’t look like there’s anything on my skin. If you saw me wearing it, you wouldn’t even know. I mean, I can go back in and add a deeper shade around the perimeter to enhance the look. Let me mix a bit of W6, which is a significant jump from W4. Look at the back of my hand, and you can see the color difference. Mixing them together creates a slightly lighter tone, which I’ll just pat on.
Blending for Contrast
Adding a touch of the deeper shade creates a bit more contrast, which blends in quite nicely. This foundation is versatile and can be applied using fingers, a brush, or a sponge. However, it’s worth noting that using a sponge may absorb too much of the product. The application process is effortless, and it results in a beautiful finish. My only wish is that they would offer this foundation in a larger size.
Completing the Look
Now that the foundation is on, let’s add a touch of blush. I’ll be using the stick blush from Pat McGrath.
The Lovely and Natural Look
One look at that: it’s quite Lovely isn’t it? It’s so well-pop it on here and obviously down the bridge of the nose and blend it in. So, you can kind of see I’m picking all sheer colors for this, because the Pat McGrath one is really like a balm. It’s very nice, though. It’s really nice. I doubled up and bought um bought a few of these because it is quite, quite beautiful.
Setting the Look
Here we go, okay. So I’m just going to do a little bit of setting because there’s a lot of shine on my face. So, I’m going to use this powder here by Urban Decay and it is All Nighter Longlasting powder. It comes in this very pretty little box or container um, so let’s just mat out the dreaded T Zone area and we’ll leave the rest. Take away the shine. It’s very pretty. I can’t see a bloody thing, where’s my glasses? Very pretty, very, very nice. Let me grab my glasses, let’s have a look, remove the or it’s very nice, it’s very nice.
Sheer Coverage
If you like sheer coverage – and you really do like sheer coverage – you really can’t go wrong with this. It’s its its spot on. It’s beautiful, I mean it really is. The coverage is sheer, but the radiance is beautiful. I really can’t tell very much of a difference at all from the original Mac Face and Body, the one that comes in the much bigger one for almost the same price.
