THE REVIEW - PATRICK TA MAJOR DIMENSION 3 PALETTE | Maryam Maquillage

Introduction

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette has been making waves in the beauty community, and today, I am here to put it to the test. With 12 shades, including two cream bases, a black, and a brown, this palette offers a variety of options to create stunning looks. In this review, I will determine whether this palette lives up to its $70 price tag.

The First Impression

Upon first glance, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is undeniably stunning. The packaging is sleek and stylish, and the design of the palette itself is truly eye-catching. The inclusion of a lid to keep the eyeshadows uncontaminated is a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall appeal of the product.

The Application Process

Before diving into the application process, I ensured that my face was properly prepped and set. With a clean canvas, I was ready to see how these eyeshadows performed. The first thing I noticed was the texture of the matte shades. They were incredibly smooth and velvety, making them a dream to blend.

The Pigmentation

One of the most important factors when it comes to eyeshadows is their pigmentation. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette exceeded my expectations in this department. The shades were richly pigmented, allowing for vibrant and impactful eye looks.

The Versatility

A major selling point of any eyeshadow palette is its versatility. Can it be used to create a variety of looks for different occasions? With the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette, the answer is a resounding yes. From everyday neutral looks to bold and dramatic creations, this palette has it all.

The Longevity

No eyeshadow review would be complete without addressing the longevity of the product. I wore the eyeshadows for several hours, and I am pleased to report that they held up exceptionally well. There was minimal fading or creasing, even without the use of an eyeshadow primer.

The Final

After thoroughly testing the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette, I can confidently say that it is worth every penny. The quality of the eyeshadows, combined with their versatility and longevity, make this palette a must-have for any makeup lover. If you are on the fence about purchasing it, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Remember, beauty is subjective, and what works for one person may not work for another. However, in my opinion, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is a winner.

The Review – Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette | Maryam Maquillage

Palette Overview

Patrick Ta’s Major Dimension 3 Palette is the third installment in his lineup of 12-pan palettes. Priced at $70 each, the first two palettes featured a nude and rose gold theme, comprising both shimmer and matte shades. However, this particular palette is all about the matte eyeshadows, which intrigued me as I am a lover of all-matte looks.

First Impressions

Without any hesitation, I dived right into the palette, eager to explore and play with the colors. As excited as I was to experiment, I couldn’t help but notice the weight of the palette. While it’s not as hefty as the Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette, it’s certainly not as lightweight as a mirror.

The Application Process

Today, I don’t feel like indulging in excessive discussion before trying out the product. After all, it’s Friday, and I have high hopes for this palette. I want my look to be fabulous, so I’ll need to emphasize that my expectations for this palette are quite high.

For the application, I decided to use a dense synthetic brush to pack on the color. I chose the Sigma Edge Precision brush, aiming for a wearable smokey eye. Starting with the brown base, I swirled my brush into the shade. Though the palette does include a mirror, I must say it’s not the most lightweight option out there.

Initial Impression: Highly Pigmented

So I like to use a handheld mirror so I’m just gonna glide that across my lid – oh, that is very, very pigmented, almost feels like Halloween makeup, like professional pigments. It doesn’t feel too balmy though, which is nice, but I should probably grab a little bit less product just so I can contain my smokey eye, like whatever was remaining on that brush after that first swipe would have been enough for the first swipe.

Blending Difficulties: A Little Goes a Long Way

So now let’s see what happens and how easily I’ll be able to actually blend that. Oh girl, okay, yeah once again a little bit goes a long way here. You do not need this much base, but of course I went all in. Not to worry, my specialty is making it work, so we are gonna make it work, and I still have very high hopes for this palette.

About Patrick Ta

I mean it is Patrick Ta after all, and if you’re not familiar with Patrick, he is a celebrity makeup artist. He works on a lot of models, a lot of big girls, celebrities, and I do like his products, okay.

Dramatic Result

So it’s dark and as crazy as this base first applied on, it is actually fairly easy to smoke it out with a brush like this, but the color is pretty intense. Like I said, and although I was going for a very wearable Smoky look today, it’s gonna have to be a dramatic one. but we’ll see. We’ll see what can be done.

THE REVIEW – PATRICK TA MAJOR DIMENSION 3 PALETTE | Maryam Maquillage

Creamy Eyeshadow Base

The first step in using the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is to apply the creamy eyeshadow base. Maryam Maquillage suggests using a brush to lightly surround the lower lash line with the remaining product on the brush. She also points out that the cream does not increase in any way, indicating that it is a more professional type of eyeshadow base.

Avant-Garde Look

Once the cream base is set and matte, Maryam Maquillage suggests getting creative and adding a lid gloss for an avant-garde look. She explains that this particular base would resist any type of gloss on top, making it perfect for a glossy lid brown smoky effect.

Working with Dense but Fluffy Brush

To further enhance the eye look, Maryam Maquillage recommends using a dense but fluffy brush. She chooses the sculpt number 16 brush from her collection and dips it into the light shade of the palette. This shade is described as a creamy peachy pink. She starts working the shade into her brow bone to eliminate any darkness. The brush and shade combination seems to be doing the trick, as she notices an improvement in the appearance of her brow bone.

Background Noise Disclaimer

Throughout the tutorial, Maryam Maquillage mentions the presence of construction noise in the background. She apologies for any disruption caused by this noise and explains that she lives in the city, not in the suburbs. However, she mentions that she and her partner are currently looking for a new place in the suburbs.

Cleaning up and Adding Lightness

I noticed that Maryam Maquillage made an effort to clean up the edge of her eye makeup and minimize a brown spot or base. She mentioned that she likes to add light directly underneath her brow because her brows are on the heavy side. By adding lightness in that area, she can eliminate the shadow cast by her brows. In this tutorial, she used a white shade to gently pop it in that area. The result looked amazing and complemented her shirt, hair, and brown eyes.

Blending with a Fluffy Brush

Maryam Maquillage chose a fluffy blending brush from Dose of Colors for her next step. She decided to go for the next shade down, which was a warm taupe. It is interesting to note that she mentioned that all of the shades in the palette are warm, except for a matte black and a cream black. She also mentioned that all of these shades are a little bit warmer. She started adding the warmer taupe directly to her eye socket, clarifying that it refers to the actual bone of her eye and not her crease. She explained that her crease is significantly lower than her eye.

A Palette with Warm and Cool Shades

Examining the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette that Maryam Maquillage used, it is clear that the palette offers a variety of warm and cool shades. She pointed out that all of the shades she used were warm, except for the matte black and the cream black. There was also a cool brown shade and a cool taupe. Additionally, she mentioned a slightly dusty rose gray and a white shade in the palette. It is intriguing how the palette combines both warm and cool tones, allowing for a versatile and multidimensional eye look.

By following Maryam Maquillage’s tutorial and using the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette, one can achieve a beautifully blended eye look with added lightness and depth. The warm and cool shades in the palette offer endless possibilities for creating different eye looks, making it a valuable addition to any makeup collection. Whether you prefer a more subtle or dramatic look, this palette delivers the versatility and quality needed to achieve a stunning result.

Review: Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette

Base for a Smokey Eye

When it comes to creating a good smokey eye, the key lies in finding a solid base that can withstand the weight of the eyeshadows and prevent creasing. However, it can be challenging to find a base that is not too creamy or prone to mixing with oils. This is where the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette comes in. It provides a base that is not only reliable but also seems to be quite perfect.

Sealing in the Gradient

To achieve a seamless gradient, it is essential to have a base that can seal in the colors. Using the brown shade from the palette, I apply it slightly lower to seal in the gradient. This step ensures that the transition between colors is smooth and flawless.

Intense Pigmentation

The palette offers a beautiful chocolate brown shade that is highly pigmented. When applying it directly to the lid, there is a slight fallout, which is to be expected with such pigmented shades. Despite this, the pigment adheres well to the base, creating a bold and intense look.

A Smooth Application

Despite the intensity of the smoky eye, the application process is surprisingly smooth. There is no harshness, skipping, or dragging while applying the eyeshadows. The base provided by the palette truly proves its worth when it comes to creating a solid foundation for a smokey eye look.

Impressive Shades

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is a stunning eyeshadow palette that has caught the attention of many beauty enthusiasts. The shades in this palette are truly impressive, offering a range of colors that can create various eye looks. One particular shade that stands out is the medium brown shade. When applied to the crease area, it adds depth and dimension to the eyes. However, it can be a bit intense and smoky for some individuals.

Toning Down the Smoke

To make the smoky eye more wearable, the reviewer decides to tone down the intensity by using a lighter shade. This adjustment proves to be effective in making the overall look more suitable for everyday wear. By layering the lighter shade over the darker one, the reviewer achieves a more balanced and less intense effect.

Adding a Pop of Highlight

For an added touch of glamour, the reviewer decides to add a bright highlight to specific areas of the eyes. Using a white eyeshadow and a rare Beauty brush, the reviewer carefully applies the highlight to create a subtle shimmer. Afterward, a small fluffy brush is used to blend the highlight, ensuring a seamless finish.

Making it Work

Despite some initial application mishaps, such as applying too much base and creating a larger smokey eye shape than intended, the reviewer is able to make the look work. The use of pencils, particularly the Lisa Eldridge black seamless Glide eye pencil, adds the finishing touches to complete the look. By applying the pencil to the waterline and top lash line, the eyes are defined and enhanced.

Overall, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette offers impressive shades that can create a stunning smokey eye look. With the right techniques and adjustments, the intensity can be toned down to make it more wearable for various occasions. The addition of a highlight and the use of pencils further elevate the look, adding a touch of glamour and definition. Beauty enthusiasts looking to experiment with different eyeshadow looks should consider giving this palette a try.

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette: A Review

Gon na add a little bit of that pencil on the outside part of my lower lash line and Im going to gently line. My top lash line like that next Im going to take a smudgy little brush first Im just going to smudge the liner just to make sure that its nice and neat and smudge this top lash line just like that gon na dip into the cooler brown and Basically, just seal that line in seal it on the top Im going to seal it on the bottom.

Eye Look

What do you think of my eye? Look nice very fully appropriate good for brown eyes. I like it there you go theres some blue eyes or green eyes any color eyes, but I also like to look good the the looks high quality it doesnt look like cheap.

You could actually, it looks expensive with the makeup thats, for so the video cut off. As it always does, but thankfully weve got a little bit of commentary from this watch model. Sorry, as always, Im eating my lining zombies, I got ta say this – does look very very sultry. I like it. It does look really really high quality. The blending looks impeccable. I cant complain. I havent done a smokey eye in a minute too.

Mascara and Falsies

Now, Im gon na curl, my lashes Im thinking that for such a dramatic smoky eye, maybe falsies would be appropriate or maybe not – I dont know before my mascara.

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette seems to deliver on its promise of creating sultry and high-quality eye looks. The blending techniques showcased in the video appear to be impeccable, giving the eyes a polished and professional finish.

Whether you have brown eyes, blue eyes, or green eyes, this palette seems to be versatile enough to complement any eye color. The makeup looks depicted in the video also appear to be of high quality, giving the impression of an expensive and well-executed look.

While the video does end abruptly, the commentary from the watch model indicates a positive impression of the eye look. The reviewer mentions that the smoky eye appears sultry and high quality, and expresses satisfaction with the overall result.

As for mascara and falsies, the reviewer contemplates whether adding falsies would be appropriate for such a dramatic smoky eye. This suggests that the palette itself is capable of creating a bold and impactful look, potentially eliminating the need for additional false lashes.

If you’re in search of a palette that can help you achieve sultry, high-quality, and versatile eye looks, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette may be worth considering. Its ability to create polished and professional finishes, regardless of eye color, makes it an appealing option for makeup enthusiasts.

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara Review

The first product I want to talk about is the Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara. When I first saw the wand, I was a little skeptical. The bristles seemed really short and tiny, which is not what I typically look for in a mascara for creating a smokey lash look. However, I decided to give it a try anyway.

Application Experience

As I applied the mascara, I noticed that it worked well for my lower lashes. The wand’s size and shape made it easier to coat the smaller lashes without smudging or clumping. However, when it came to my top lashes, I found that the mascara didn’t provide as much volume as I would have liked. It gave a more natural, lighter look.

Covergirl Cleantopia Extreme Black

To achieve the desired dramatic effect, I decided to layer the Bobbi Brown mascara with my go-to favorite, the Covergirl Cleantopia Extreme Black. As always, this mascara applied a maximum amount of product in just one coat. This is perfect for me as I prefer a more natural look and don’t want to weigh down my shorter, straighter lashes with too much product.

Lower Lash Application

I typically don’t apply mascara to my lower lashes, but when doing a smoked out, lower lash line look, I find it adds to the overall smokiness. So, I decided to add a coat to my lower lashes using the Covergirl mascara. It helped create a more cohesive and dramatic look.

A Sultry and Grown-Up Look

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette gives off a sultry and grown-up vibe, making the wearer appear more intimidating. This palette is perfect for those who want a mature and sophisticated look. To add a touch of sweetness to the overall look, Maryam Maquillage decides to use a bit of her Essence Pure Nude Baked Blush in the shade Pretty Peach. The intention is to add warmth and luminosity to the face, without going overboard. A subtle touch of luminosity is also added with the Catrice highlighter.

A Balance of Warm and Cool Eyeshadows

The eyeshadow look created with the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is incredibly matte. To avoid a flat appearance, Maryam Maquillage desires a bit of luminosity on the face and opts for a touch of highlight. The palette offers an equal amount of warm and cool eyeshadows, which is a major plus. The all-matte formula of the eyeshadows is also a standout feature. While Maryam Maquillage has created a bold and blown-out smokey eye look, it is worth noting that the palette can be used for more subtle and crease-focused looks as well.

Perfect for Smokey Eye Enthusiasts

If you’re a fan of the smokey eye look, then the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is a must-have. Maryam Maquillage attests that it’s one of the easiest palettes she has ever used for a smokey eye. The versatility of the palette allows for various interpretations of the classic look, from bold and blown-out to more restrained and crease-focused. The range of eyeshadows in this palette, both warm and cool, provide endless possibilities for smokey eye enthusiasts.

A Touch of Sparkle for the Lips

To complete the sultry and grown-up look, Maryam Maquillage chooses a lip combo that adds just a hint of sparkle. She starts by applying the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Liner in the shade Hot and Spicy. For the lips, a touch of sparkle is achieved with Trevor X Dose of Colors, creating the perfect final touch to the overall look.

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is a game-changer for smokey eye lovers. Whether you prefer a bold look or a more subdued one, this palette offers the versatility and quality needed to achieve your desired effect. With its range of warm and cool eyeshadows, along with its all-matte formula, it’s no wonder that Maryam Maquillage finds this palette to be one of the easiest to work with. So, if you’re ready to elevate your smokey eye game, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is definitely worth giving a try.

The Topi of a Cooler Smokier Eye Base

I would have probably loved to have seen a topi like a cooler smokier eye base. Just so, you can have a little bit more fun with a lighter smokey eye, but for that you probably can just skip of the base, but you can just use the powder eyeshadows to achieve whatever look that you have in mind.

Endless Possibilities

Of course, you could also play around and create shadows and do cut creases and do whatever it is that you want to do with this type of eyeshadow palette. Honestly, I think this was pretty outstanding.

Luxurious Feel and Easy Application

Definitely feels luxurious. All of the eyeshadows feel extremely buttery really really easy to use theres minimal Fallout and whenever there was Fallout it didnt stick to my base. I was able to easily remove it.

A Hit With Me

I got ta hand it to Patrick Tye and his team. This is amazing. Granted I havent tried any of his other palettes before I know this is actually my very first time trying one of these major Dimension eyeshadow palettes its a hit with me. I am a fan.

The Full Collection

I definitely want to get my hands on the other two just so. I can have the full collection, so that is my review. That is my story. This is my look and I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Let me know what you think about this palette, whether youve purchased it whether you have used it before whether you have other Patrick top palettes.

In terms of pigmentation, the matte shades in the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette deliver exceptionally well. The colors applied smoothly and seamlessly onto the lid, allowing for easy blending. The variety of shades also provided ample options for creating different eye looks.

The lasting power of the eyeshadows was also impressive, as they stayed vibrant and intact throughout the day. I didn’t experience any creasing or fading, which is definitely a plus.

Overall Thoughts

Although the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette may be slightly heavier than expected, its performance makes up for it. The all-matte formula allows for the creation of versatile looks, while the pigmentation and longevity of the shades leave no room for disappointment.

As someone who enjoys an all-matte look, I found this palette to be a worthy addition to my collection. Whether you’re a fan of Patrick Ta’s previous palettes or looking to try out a new matte eyeshadow palette, this one certainly deserves consideration.

Without any closing remarks, Maryam Maquillage concludes the video without offering any final thoughts or opinions on the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette. Instead, she leaves it up to the viewers to form their own s based on the techniques and results she has shared.

Overall, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 3 Palette is a worthy addition to any beauty enthusiast’s collection. With its reliable base and intense pigmentation, it allows for seamless and effortless application. The palette offers endless possibilities for creating a variety of stunning smokey eye looks.

Overall, I found the Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara to be suitable for lower lashes and providing a more natural look for top lashes. However, for a more intense and dramatic effect, I would recommend layering it with a mascara like the Covergirl Cleantopia Extreme Black. This combination achieved the vampy, smoky eye look I was going for and made my brown eyes appear more pronounced and the whites of my eyes brighter. It’s a unique and striking effect, perfect for creating a dramatic look.
