Black Friday is always a great time to score some amazing deals, and this year was no different for me. As a long-time member of the Aveda rewards program, I was able to take advantage of early access to their sale and snag some of my favorite beauty products at a discounted price. Now, let’s dive into the beauty products I recently purchased from Aveda and give you an honest review. I always like to share my thoughts on the products I try, so you can make informed decisions when shopping for beauty items. Here are my thoughts on a few of the items I’ve been testing out:
1. Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner
The Aveda shampoo and conditioner have been my go-to hair care products for a while now. They are made with natural ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals, which is important to me when it comes to choosing safe beauty products. These products leave my hair feeling clean, soft, and manageable. I highly recommend giving them a try if you’re in search of a gentle and effective hair care duo.
2. Aveda Facial Cleanser
I recently started using the Aveda facial cleanser, and I have to say, it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. The cleanser is gentle yet effective at removing dirt and impurities from my skin without stripping it of its natural oils. The Search for a Replacement
Let me get right into those so not too long ago I shared with you that one of my favorite lines – I think it was the now I cant remember some sort of moisture type of line from Aveda got discontinued and and um Ive been trying to find Something that will replace it and I think that theyve reformulated the be curly enough in a way that I can use it and itll replace it.
Finding the Closest Match
So I tried this and I tried some other things and be curly is the closest to what I used to use. So I needed to replenish and again being shell shock. I just wanted to grab it and make sure that I have it so they dont discontinue it on me. So I did grab one of these and I think it was an additional either 25 or 30 off of everything on the site.
Exploring New Options
So I grabbed this and and then um in my other haul. I also tried the the neutr plenish uh curl gel thats, what it was. It was called curl Jal or something like that. A curl gel and I really love how shiny and beautiful and bouncy it made. My hair feel – and I do need another um shampoo at the moment, so I said, let me go ahead and try the next thing in this line, which was the Nutri plenish shampoo.
Maintaining Healthy Hair
I didnt get the conditioner because I have so many other conditioner like I have so many conditioners, because thats just the type of hair that I have that needs a lot of conditioning.
And there you have it my honest review of the safe beauty products I’ve recently tried. While I was devastated when my favorite line of Aveda products got discontinued, I am relieved to have found the be curly line as a close replacement. The products leave my hair shiny, beautiful, and bouncy, which is exactly what I look for in a curl-inducing gel and shampoo.

I recently ran out of shampoo and decided to try a new one for my curly hair. I was specifically looking for a product that would provide hydration, moisture, and curl definition. The Early Access to Black Friday Sale
I was able to get this way. Early um got got this in the mail way before Black Friday cuz they did. The early access to the Black Friday sale Ive been doing that for a few other things. Some people will benefit from it because they will have gifts. Others um will just have to see me enjoy it all right.
Review of Nail Polishes from and Other Stories
So then lets get into the thing that I want to review um when I went to Beverly Hills, not too long. I went to Los Angeles, California, I stopped into and Other Stories and they had a really big sale on some um Beauty and home items in there, and I got two nail polish colors one is berry Blaze and the other one is sunlit bubble. Ive tried the berry Blaze thats, the color that I have on my fingernails right now.
Safe Ingredients
It is very, very beautiful. After the fact, I did some research on the ingredients in here, and these are free of all of the nasty ingredients that you shouldnt put on your nails, which was great. It was a bonus I wasnt, expecting that I usually put a base coat of something that is um free from all of the nastiness and in my head.
Protection from Harmful Substances
It makes sense that if I put a barrier on my nails first then use whatever else. I want. On top, just because I love the color, I wont get all the nasties from from the bad top coat.

A Pleasant Surprise
One particular product that caught my attention was the nail polish. I decided to try it out, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it have a beautiful color called Berry, but it actually smelled like berries too! Now, I’m not sure if this is just a placebo effect, but it was a delightful surprise nonetheless.
Quality Formula
What sets this polish apart is its thick formula. With just one coat, I was able to achieve full coverage. This is a game-changer for me since I don’t enjoy spending too much time on my nails. The thick formula ensures that the polish lasts longer, which is impressive considering it’s not a no-chip or gel polish.
Longevity and Value
After wearing the polish for about a week and a half, I did notice some chipping, especially on my dominant hand. However, considering it’s not marketed as a long-lasting polish, the longevity was fairly impressive. It held up better than some other high-end brands I’ve tried.
What’s even better is the price. The normal price for this polish is $7, which is already affordable. However, I managed to snag it on sale for just $3. Even at the regular price, it’s still cheaper than other popular brands like SE or OPI, and I believe it performs just as well, if not better.

Nail Polish: A Whitish, Blue or Very Bright White
I recently tried out a nail polish from Other Stories, and I must say, I am quite impressed. The shade I chose is a whitish, blue or very bright white, to be precise. It’s a color that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it definitely stands out.
I’m really excited to try this sunlit bubble, and you’ll probably see me featuring it in some upcoming videos. I can’t wait to show off my nails in this unique shade. It might not be the most seasonally appropriate color, but I’m eager to test out its formula and see how it performs. Rest assured, I will come back to you with an update on how it worked for me.

What’s Going on with my Hair?
If you follow my ootd (outfit of the day) posts, you may have noticed that my hair has been draped lately. I’ve been struggling with how to style it, which is why I’ve been wearing a hat in some of my recent videos. I just can’t seem to figure out what to do with it at the moment.
