Introducing operis ski: A Winter Fantasy for Your Cheeks and Lips
Since last fall, and even late summer, my team and I have been tirelessly working on perfecting the shades, fragrances, and overall collection. It has been a journey of formulation, reformulation, and tweaking. And now, I am thrilled to finally share with you my new collection, operis ski.
A Cool-Toned Compliment to Summer Abroad
Operis ski is my take on achieving winter cheeks and winter lips, embracing the fantasy of the season. It is meant to be a cool-toned compliment to my Summer Abroad collection. While the setup is similar, there are slight differences. I had to think creatively, taking into consideration the requests I received and the desire for a truly flexible kind of flush.
Unveiling Fs Cheeks: A Natural Flush
If this is your first time watching my video, let me explain what “Fs cheeks” means. During one of my previous videos, I mentioned my love for a naturally flushed cheek, and that was the inspiration behind this collection. I said something whimsical about wanting to look like a Nordic child running through the fjords. Of course, later on, I realized that fjords are bodies of water and not meant for running. Nonetheless, it has become a meme on my channel, and we affectionately refer to it as Fs cheeks.

The operis ski collection features an array of stunning shades that will mesmerize you. From deep rust to delicate pinks, these colors are carefully curated to achieve that beautiful, natural-looking flush. We wanted to push the boundaries and add a touch of exaggeration to create the perfect dreamy winter look.

A Berry Cheek for a Chilled Cozy Look
Get ready to explore the shades of my new collection! It features a berry cheek that is going to give you that chilled cozy kind of look. So, are you all ready to jump in and uncover the beauty of these shades?
The Collection: Three Cool, Leaning, Beigy Mes
This collection consists of three cool, leaning, beigy mes. Just like my last collection, these shades are designed to be flexible for various skin tones. They are meant to achieve a similar look on different skin tones based on their depth, saturation, and color balance. And the best part is that you can mix and match them!
Introducing the Adjusters
The next addition to the collection is the adjusters. Let me show you the shades. I promise you’ll love them. There are two adjusters, designed to give you that perfect finish. One leans towards a candy apple red, adding a pinky cherry flushed cheek. The other adjuster is decidedly cool and quite purple. Both are very translucent and have low pigment, allowing you to use them alone or on top of any other blush to enhance the wind-chapped appearance.
Three Mesmerizing Lip Glosses
But wait, there’s more! The collection also includes three mesmerizing lip glosses. I can’t contain my excitement to share them with you. These lip glosses will add an extra touch of glamour to your overall look. Get ready for some luscious lips!
Formulating and Reformulating
When I say we formulated and reformulated these shades so many times, it was truly a collaborative effort between me and Abigail at Finding Ferdinand. It’s not just about picking colors; it’s about the way the pigments are derived from natural sources. We wanted to create shades that are not just a pure, light version of cyan, magenta, or yellow. Instead, they have an added richness and nuance to them. We went through the process of replacing blues with blacks and experimenting with various ingredients to achieve the perfect results.
And there you have it! The reveal of my new collection. I hope you are as excited as I am to try out these amazing shades. Get ready to embrace the beauty within you!
Introducing the Cool Toned Blushes
Just to make sure that the colors translated properly on different skin tones and we tested them and tested them and tested them made sure that, like the lip glosses, didn’t have the White Ring of Death like there was just a lot of time and energy put into These, so here we have the three beautiful cool toned blushes.
A Wearable Cool Tone
This is a very wearable cool tone. These are not going to go kind of like gray on you, they’re, not Ultra desaturated. They are meant to be worn as effortlessly as the summer abroad collection. You can apply these with Reckless abandon, so our first shade ew. This is my first time putting my finger in like a brand new one. I’ve been working in the lab samples, they’re, just really messy looking, so this is Sunrise, it’s very cool to see the actual shade name and all of The Branding and stuff on the packages if you’re unfamiliar with finding Ferdinand.
Sunrise: The Fairest Version
This is what their packaging looks like I’m going to do inserts, obviously of me applying them, but there we have Sunrise. Sunrise is the fairest version of this cool toned, mie beigy, Pink as it goes on the cheeks. It really gives a natural, easy transition from your complexion. Look on fair skin to your bronzer or whatever else is on your face, this formula layers beautifully on top of powders and creams, and it can provide a really subtle wash or you can really build it up for more impact and on neutral and warm undertones.
The Pink Flush
You’re going to be able to see more of the like pink flush and on cooler skin tones you’re, going to get a little bit more of the cool toned, mod that’s, just kind of how the shades work, but I think that they’re really adaptable.
High Noon
Next, we have our medium and this is high noon, but again there is absolutely no reason that any skin tone can’t wear that you know it’s meant to be a very flexible shade. It also has the same kind of balance of neutral and cool, it’s going to provide a more saturated flush, as you can see, if you apply it to fair skin, and it still has enough saturation that it’s going to show up on richer, deeper skin tones.
Dusk
Finally, in this part of the collection we have dusk, intuitively dusk is our deepest, most saturated of these Shades. I’m going to pull out some are abroad and swatch them next to this in just a second, so that you can see the way that the summer Tones balance against the winter tones, especially if you already own them.
Layering and Mixing
So there, you can see and probably very easily identify which one you’re drawn to, but they layer beautifully on top of each other. They’re meant to be mixed and matched, so there we have summer abroad and opera ski.
Improved Formula
The formula has been adjusted ever so slightly just to have more stability in really extreme temperatures. When we shipped the last collection, some people in some really hot places experienced their products melting, and so that was something that we wanted to alleviate.
Introducing the New Collection
So you’ll notice they’re a little bit more stable on the skin and that’s going to accommodate more skin types as well.
Complimentary Shades
So there we have it if you already own any of the summer, broad collection that is latte, Olay and macchiato, and then we have Sunrise high noon and Dusk, and you can see they’re quite complimentary.
Exciting Request
It was honestly so exciting to be able to accommodate the way that people were requesting a cool toned collection. I was like this is fantastic like as soon as summer abroad came out. People were like, I want a cool tone version and I was like that’s the most exciting request, I’ve ever gotten. So thank you. Thank you all for wanting that from me. I appreciate it, so those are beautiful.
Super User-Friendly
They are and they’re meant to be again. Super super user friendly, but I know that there are a lot of you all out there who are like show me the fs give me the fs.
Introducing Chilled and Cozy
Okay, allow me to present chilled and cozy. Now I have built up some fat swatches here because these are meant to be sheer. You can see there’s really no white in them at all. They’re meant to be kind of a glaze in order to adjust your cheek look. They layer beautifully on top of all of the mauve Shades without adding any opacity, and you can use as little or as much of it as you want and cozy will Rich up.
The Base Shades
The look in a slightly warmer way and clearly chilled, is going to give you a cooler tone cheek. This is going to be beautiful on deep skin tones as well as Olive undertones and again you can build this up as much or as little as you want.
The Adjuster Blushes
So there we have the three kind of Base Shades in the collection and the two adjuster blushes. I hope this excites yall. I was so excited when we started actually layering them. Seeing how adaptable the kind of system was, because I wanted to create something that everyone could appreciate.
Lip Glosses from the Last Collection
Shall we last collection? We just did sparkling lemon cello. It was one of the easiest lip glosses to like because was clear, with a specific suspension of gold and silver Sparkle with a lemon scent, a lemon cello scent, it was just fantastic and the formula is lovely.
Introducing the New Lip Glosses
This time I wanted to put out three lip glosses. Honestly, like narrowing it down to a three was difficult, but that was what we ended up with, so allow me to introduce you to Cafe noisette Hood, cocoa and mold wine, so Cafe. Noisette.
A Beautiful Beige Shade
Is this beautiful beige that I have on my lips right now and what I set out to create with this shade was somewhere in between Victoria Beckham, bikini and Chanel boy? I know like thats a just a really exciting prospect, so what we ended up with is this incredible milky beige shade and it looks like a cool toned.
The Inspiration and Creation of the Hazelnut Coffee Shade
Coffee caffeine was at okay, so Abigail is actually French and you notice I’m not actually trying to pronounce auy as a French person. I just I can’t so I’m just not going to, but she actually helped me name this shade, because I was like what is this color and she’s like it’s that, like hazelnut coffee color in French, a caffe noisette is not actually hazelnut flavored it’s named for the Color of it – and so you do have that in this, but we kind of took a little extra spin on it and added a beautiful hazelnut fragrance to this.
A Perfect Balance of Fragrance
So it is hazelnut with like a really great authentic coffee scent when we got the hazelnut latte fragrance and I smelled it. I was like I need more of that coffee punch. I don’t want it to just be sickly, sweet. I want it to smell real, and so we got some actual like authentic coffee fragrance as well and mixed the two so that we could get the right balance I’m telling you. It took a lot of iterations to get this right.
Inspired by Chanel, but in a Gloss Form
Also, you know, like I said, sort of inspired a little bit by the way that Chanel boy looks on the lips, but also I wanted it in a gloss because that’s, not my favorite formula. I’ll be honest, the Chanel formula, it’s not my favorite. I wish I had that color in something else. So I created it.
A Hint of Icy Sparkle
It does have a tiny bit of a neutral kind of micro Sparkle in there, it’s kind of paying homage to a little bit of iciness and what it does is.

Whether used alone or with a lip liner, it effortlessly contours and enhances the natural plumpness of your lips. As someone who seeks to showcase shine on my cheeks and eyes, I must say this product is remarkable in muting the lip while still achieving a sexy nude look.
A Milky Lip for All Skin Tones
You might wonder, what about other skin tones? Well, fear not! I present to you the Hot Coco shade, perhaps a little tribute to my dear friend H who adores a deep brown lip. This shade was created to offer a more intense version of beige and to provide you with more options. And that’s not all! The fantastic aspect of this shade is its delightful aroma. Yes, it smells like hot cocoa! The scent of chocolate fills the air, making your lip application experience even more enjoyable.
Dialing in Perfection
During the development process, Abigail, my partner in creating this collection, insisted on making the Hot Coco shade cooler. She had an unwavering vision of it resembling milky hot cocoa, not melted chocolate. With her input, we achieved a strikingly beautiful sheer cool-toned brown that is dialed into perfection. The result is nothing short of breathtaking.

This new collection is all about capturing a sense of allure and wearability. Gone are the days of excessive sparkle, as I wanted to offer something different and refreshing. This is a collection that embraces subtlety and sensuality.

In this collection, I present two stunning shades that can be effortlessly worn by anyone. The first option is a beautiful brownie nudie shade, perfect for those who want to embrace a natural and elegant look. The second option is a translucent wine lip, which adds a touch of sophistication and mystery.

Introducing my new collection – the Rich Bouquet! This collection has a wintry essence that will transport you to a nostalgic realm. Although it is perfect for winter, these products can be used all year round. The scent itself sells the fantasy, creating an enchanting experience.

The Bouquet of Oppr Ski is the heart and soul of this collection. It’s a tribute to the off-duty, wind-chapped mountain skin, even though I must admit, I’ve only skied once in my life. I’m here for the opera of it all!
The Release Details
Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the release details! I can’t believe that we’re actually revealing this collection. I’ve spent so much time perfecting these products, and now it’s time to share them with all of you. The PR will be sent out soon, so keep an eye out for your favorite creators who will be getting their hands on the collection before the official launch. This will allow you to see the products on different skin tones and make more informed decisions.

Ordering within the First Week
If you order within the first week, you will have the opportunity to get your hands on the latest collection. In the past, we faced challenges with order fulfillment and stacking, mainly due to a Shopify issue. However, this time around, we are confident that all the creators involved will do a better job. We have learned from our past mistakes and are determined to make this release seamless.
No Pre Sale Headaches
Unlike previous releases, we have decided not to have a pre sale for this collection. This means that we will only be selling what exists. We have a better understanding of the volume we need to produce and have planned accordingly. By eliminating the need to order raw materials for production, we want to relieve the headache that occurred during the last pre sale. Your patience during this process is greatly appreciated.

I am thrilled to announce that Finding Ferdinand chose me as their first collaboration with an influencer.
