Products I've Used Up 🤩✨🛍 Would I Repurchase These!? EMPTIES 2024

My Most Repurchased Products

I have a bunch of product empties, AKA products I’ve used up. I’ve been accumulating this for the last few weeks and I’m so ready to throw these out and part ways, but I wanted to show you guys the first, of course, so we can go through all the things. Let you know what I would repurchase. What I think is worth it. What I think is not. So grab a snack, get cozy, and let’s talk some trash.

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub

These are some of my most repurchased products ever. I will forever repurchase. I will forever rave about these. I know I cannot shut up about them, but they’re really that good. I’ve gone through so many bottles of these. I don’t even know for how long I’ve been using these, but OMG. They are the best. I’ve tried pretty much every scent, and these are the three that I keep in rotation the most:

Vanilla: Very self-explanatory, but it’s really good. It’s not too sweet, but it’s sweet enough.

Moroccan Rose: It’s a rose, but it’s fresh, a little bit sweet, and divine.

Tropic Glow: Definitely, out of all of them, my top favorite. This just gives summer vibes to the max. If you like the Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey cologne, you’re going to love this scent. It’s not identical, but it just gives a very similar, delicious vibe, which I love.

Shaving Essentials

These are just seriously the best things ever when it comes to shaving. They really are moisturizing, they don’t clog, the Razer and when you shave, you get the smoothest closest shave and then, on top of that they just smell delicious, so 10 out of 10. You absolutely need these.

Makeup Removers

Let’s go through a couple makeup removers here. First, I have the oat cleansing balm from the inkey list. Also really like this, I would definitely repurchase. I love how gentle this is, but I think it does a really nice job at removing all of my makeup, especially when I do heavy glam. This does a really nice job at just melting everything away. This almost turns into like a milky consistency too, as you’re rubbing away all of your products, which I love. It’s also super affordable at Sephora, so definitely would repurchase.

Another makeup remover that I love is the remove nourishing cleansing oil from Haleys Beauty. I feel like this is a really nice dupe for another empty that I have the Peach and Lily Ginger melt oil cleanser. I feel this one from Haleys is a nice alternative to this one from Peach and Lily, and as much as I do like the Peach and Lily one, I don’t think I would repurchase because I do feel like there’s a lot of really good, more affordable makeup removers that pretty much do the same exact thing. I love this one from Peach and Lily, but I love this one from Haleys Beauty as well. It’s great because there’s no fragrance to it.

Halys Beauty Oil Cleanser

It truly just melts everything away, and both of these are hydrating like after you take off your makeup, your face, doesnt feel stripped or dry or very tight. It actually feels like almost as if you had a serum on your skin, that’s how nice these formulas are. But I’m going to go with the Halys one. This one definitely Takes the Cake, it’s more affordable and I love the squeezy packaging. So highly recommend you can get Halys Beauty on Amazon and it’s so good.

Peach and Lily Cleansing Balm

Peach and Lily, I love you too, but I don’t know if I would repurchase, because I think you can definitely get this effect as far as removing your makeup and everything from more affordable oil cleansers, but it’s still really good.

E.L. Holy Hydration Makeup Cleansing Balm

Another makeup remover is the E.L. Holy Hydration Makeup Cleansing Balm, also really like this. I think this does a nice job of removing your makeup, but I would say if you have more heavy Glam, you have to use more, so its a nice kind of just a gentle day-to-day makeup remover. I love it like for makeup that I’m wearing today. I would use the one for M, I think it’s great, but if you have very intense makeup more waterproof stuff, I would go with something maybe like the Halys one or the Oat cleansing.

Oat Cleansing Balm

Mom is going to be a little bit more intense with this one from E.L.. You might still have a little bit of makeup left behind cuz.

The Gentle Makeup Remover: e.l.f Skincare

It is a little bit more of a gentle, more mild makeup remover, but its still really nice doesnt irritate my skin, and I feel like e.l.f skincare in general is really good and I do like the holy hydration line, so I would repurchase this. I also like the packaging too.

Hydrating Shampoo Bliss: H2O Hydrating Shampoo from Eva NYC

We have a couple shampoos here. Oh actually, just two shampoos that I wanted to mention. The first one is the H2O hydrating shampoo from Eva NYC me, and my husband were both using this and I have to say I do really love this. It is hydrating. I love the way this lathers. It smells very fresh and clean has a little bit of like a eucalyptus kind of vibe, its really really nice, and I love Eva NYC products. They actually smell amazing. When, especially when I get out of the shower, I can still smell it in my hair, which is one of my favorite things, cuz like if Im in the shower, taking all that time to do all the things I want to smell amazing when I get out And this does it for me.

K18 Peptide Prep: pH Maintenance Shampoo

I also love the K18 peptide prep, pH maintenance. Shampoo Ive been using this along with the detox shampoo, the detox Im, not out of because I only use this once a week, but this one I do like, but I wish they smelled better, like I think they smell good. But when I get out of the shower, I feel like I dont smell anything in my hair, and I dont like that, like I want to smell good it, just doesnt really smell.

The Cleaning Power

Like anything I mean it gets a job done for sure. It definitely does a nice job at cleaning. My scalp and my hair, like my hair, actually feels very clean when I use this, but I just wish it smelled a little bit better. However, I’ll probably still repurchase it, because it does do a nice job at really cleaning my hair, especially with extra product buildup. I like this in combination with the detox shampoo.

Double Duty Skincare

We got some more skincare, so something else that I forgot to mention actually, that I love from DBA white truffle, double serum and cream. This is just that it’s a cream and it’s a serum in one. So I really like this because you can customize it based on your skin. If you have more oily skin, you can use less of the cream and more of the serum because the cream is a little bit thicker. If you have dry skin, you can use more cream and less serum.

Luxurious Feel

For me, I have combo skin, so I typically do an even layer of both, and this is such a luxurious cream. It just gives high-end Spa luxury vibes. I love the way this feels, it’s very nourishing. Personally, I love it the most in the evening, especially on days when I shave my face, and I just need to really replenish my skin. This does it for me, but during the day I have used it as well. If I have super dry skin, it’s just really nice – and I do find that this lasts me a long time as well, because I pretty much use it as needed. It’s a really great duo, and I love the packaging.

Two-in-One Concept

The two-in-one concept is truly incredible, especially when it comes to skincare products. The first spray serum combined with this concept gives you super glowy, glass-like skin that is absolutely amazing. I have already repurchased another one of these because it is just that good.

Sunday Riley Good Genes

The Sunday Riley Good Genes lactic acid treatment is a skincare product that I simply cannot get enough of. This all-in-one treatment is on the pricey side, but it truly does an excellent job at gently exfoliating my skin. Whenever I use this product, I feel like my skin is completely renewed and refreshed. I typically use it once or twice a week as part of my skincare routine, as I rotate out my serums. I have been using this product for over a year now, and I just recently purchased the big bottle because I love it so much.

Product Usage and Benefits

I have found that a little bit of the Sunday Riley Good Genes treatment goes a long way. With just a single pump, I am able to cover my entire face, making the product last longer. After using this treatment, I follow up with rose water and a moisturizer. The next morning, my skin feels rejuvenated and refreshed, as if it has been completely transformed. I absolutely love the benefits of this product and highly recommend it to others who may have combination skin like myself.

Kels Better Screen: UV Serum Sunscreen

It just really does it for me. Kels was kind enough to send over this little travel size, and then we have the bigger one as well. I wanted to try this out first before I committed to the big size in case I didn’t like it, but I love the sunscreen. This has actually lasted me about 2 and a half weeks and I’m very generous with my sunscreen too, so I’m very impressed with this little mini guy. This is such a good sunscreen, there’s no fragrance to it. It wears really nicely under makeup, there’s no white cast, and I love how quickly it absorbs into the skin. It also claims to have collagen peptide that helps visibly correct fine lines, uneven skin tone, and dull skin. I don’t know about all the fine lines, but it definitely brings the skin back to life and gives a really pretty light healthy glow without feeling greasy. It’s really not greasy at all and it’s just a really good lightweight SPF 50. I love it, definitely would repurchase.

Magic Rescue from Charlotte Tilbury

Another skincare product here that I’m not super crazy about is the Magic Rescue from Charlotte Tilbury.

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Cream

I like this, I think its nice, but I think its overpriced for what it is like. I definitely would not repurchase it. It wears nicely I think under makeup, but I specifically like it more in the evenings. Cuz, it is very hydrating, I want to say this is like 100 or something crazy around there. You could use that money for another eye cream like that, would actually do something better for your under eyes. I dont know to me this is just a very basic eye: cream, its nice but its overpriced.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder

Speaking of Charlotte Tilbury, though I love the airbrush Flawless setting powder. This is everything I already have another one. I keep backups of this in my collection because its the best powder to set to touch up its smoothing, its blurring its airbrushed, its all the things and it looks so good in photos so Im in the shade one fair, and this is definitely a forever favorite.

NYX Plump Right Back Primer

I also love my NYX plump right back primer. I love NYX primers in general, but this is one of my all time, favorites. Actually, no, I dont love them all. This is in my top.

Honey Duma Primer

Ive also been loving the honey Duma primer. These two are really nice. They give you that hydrated feel it kind of gives like skincare and makeup Vibes in one, but it leaves a little bit of a tacky base, so your products apply beautifully over top and they wear really nicely throughout the day.

Primer: Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Primer

I do notice a difference with this primer versus when I don’t use any primer, like my makeup looks so much better with this. Out of all the gripping primers, this one is by far my favorite. I love the elf one too, but I think this one just takes the cake. It’s so good and feels more like skincare than just a makeup product.

Skin Care: Rose Sensation Bulgarian Rose Water

I have my Bulgarian rose water. I got this on Amazon and I’m in love with it. It’s from the brand Rose Sensation. I love rose water, and it has seriously made such a difference in my skincare routine. It’s a really nice base for other skincare products. I like to spray rose water on my face when I first wake up in the morning and in the evenings after I shower. This one is 100% pure rose water, with just two simple ingredients: Rose flour and water. It actually smells like roses too, although the scent may take some getting used to. It’s not super pleasant, but it smells pure and is incredibly hydrating. I would definitely repurchase this product.

Bulgarian Rose Water

I love the Heritage rose water too, that you can get at Walmart, but this one is actually like pure rose water. That one is like rose water oil, which I still love and I still use as well, it’s also very hydrating. But if you want just like pure rose water, Bulgarian rose water, it’s amazing and this big thing lasts forever. I put it in another spray bottle and then I just keep refilling it up, but it is amazing.

Hawaiian Tropic Weightless Hydration SPF50

Something else I love is my Hawaiian Tropic weightless hydration SPF50. This is my favorite, especially in the summer for my chest and my arms, but I still use it even now on my chest area. It’s a clear, Invisible Spray like when you put it on there’s absolutely no white cast you don’t even have to spend time rubbing it in like it’s so seamless – and it also gives a little bit of a glow too, like just a natural kind of SPF glow, that doesn’t feel greasy or too heavy.

Tree Hut Tropic Glow Sparkling Gel Wash

Something that I actually don’t love, which is ironic because I’m obsessed with the shave oils, is the Tree Hut Tropic Glow Sparkling Gel Wash. I even still have a little bit left in here, cuz I’m just kind of bored with it. It smells good, but I want a little bit more and you would think like with the sparkles in here, it would be just very intense and glowy and beautiful, but no I love this scent, but only in the shave oil and the body butter.

Body Wash:

The body wash from the Tropic glow line just doesn’t meet my expectations. It lacks lather and leaves my skin feeling dry without any glow. Despite its promising appearance, it fails to deliver the hydration and glow I was hoping for. It’s a disappointment, and I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Hair and Body Mist:

The hair and body mist from the brand 125, in the scent Fruit Dew Dragon, is a different story. I discovered this gem at Marshalls about a year ago, and it has been a favorite ever since. The fragrance is a delightful blend of berries and dragon fruit that evokes thoughts of spring and summer. Its sweet and fruity aroma is truly captivating. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fruity, floral scents.

Similar Scent:

Interestingly, I came across a body spray at Marshalls called Mix Bar Sparkling Hibiscus that shares a striking resemblance to the Fruit Dew Dragon scent. The mix of fruity and floral notes in both fragrances is uncanny. If you appreciate the aroma of one, you would likely enjoy the other as well. It’s a delightful coincidence to find two similar scents from different brands.

Sparkling Hibiscus Perfume

This scent is simply mesmerizing. The combination of berries, dragon fruit, and fresh fruity florals creates a unique and irresistible fragrance. Mixing it with other perfumes from Mixar enhances the scent even more. It’s a shame that this gem might be hard to find again, but the summery, sweet, and girly vibe it gives off makes it worth the search. Definitely a must-try for those who love a fresh and uplifting fragrance.

Desi Glacy Vitamin C Serum

The Desi Glacy vitamin C serum has become a staple in my skincare routine. With 15% vitamin C, it delivers a radiant, glowing complexion that is hard to resist. I alternate between this serum and the Sunday Riley one, both of which never fail to brighten my skin and improve its overall clarity. Applying vitamin C every morning has become a crucial step for me, ensuring that my skin looks its best.

Nourishing Belly Butter

I got this whenever she was having a sale at one point last year, but I love this. I think you can even find it too sometimes on sale on Tik Tock shop, which I dont always like Tik Tok shop, because it takes forever like the shipping. But if you can get it on sale, definitely recommend if not, though its totally worth the Splurge its really good and then another Desi product is the nourishing belly butter. Dont get any ideas, Im not pregnant, but I love this. You can still see a little bit of it, its like a thicker balm, but what I love about this is that you can actually just incorporate this, not just on your belly, but wherever you have any like super dry skin. For me, its always my elbows and my knees, so what I like to do is take my favorite body lotion, typically Ill use, something thats fragrance-free cuz. This does have a very light citrusy scent, but Ill take a little bit of that Ill. Take a little bit like a scoop of the balm and when you mix it its just a very thick super hydrating, creamy balm and I like to just really concentrate it in specific areas where I have more dry skin. But this in combination with the body lotion. It just really takes the hydration to the next level. Its also lasted me a while because you dont need a lot of it if youre mixing it in with another, more lightweight moisturizer.

Desi Skin Balm

So I don’t even want to call this like a body butter because to me it’s so much better than that. It’s just a very thick balm that gives your skin so much moisture and it actually locks it in and keeps your skin hydrated and moisturized for several hours. I definitely recommend it if you have very dry skin and you want something just a little bit thicker that you can mix in with your moisturizer because, again, mixing it is how you’re going to get this to last so much longer. I love it and I would definitely repurchase it. I love Desi skin, she has a lot of really good products.

Fenty Skin Butter Drop

Last but not least, we have the warm cinnamon shimmering whipped oil body cream from Fenty Skin. I did already repurchase this. Hopefully you can still get this. I think it was limited edition around the holidays, but I love Fenty Beauty body butters too. They’re just creamy and they’re thick, but again, they’re not sticky. Something I will note about the Desi balm, it’s a bomb. It’s a little bit heavier and can be a little sticky if you use too much because it is thicker. There’s no water in this as well, so just a little FYI. But I really love it because it really locks in the moisture. On the other hand, the Fenty Skin Butter Drop, I love it because it’s creamy, it’s thick, but it just melts into the skin really beautifully.

Body Butter Glow

This one specifically gives a really pretty glow. It just smells like cinnamon gingerbread cookies, sweet without that vanilla sweet. It’s just a cinnamon gingerbread scent, and it is delicious. I love this with other vanilla scents, the way it goes on, and how hydrated my skin feels. It’s just a beautiful body butter definitely worth a splurge.

Fenty Whipped Oil Body Creams

Even if you can’t get this specific body butter, the whipped oil body creams from Fenty are a must-try. Their classic original is also a great option for spring and summer with a sweet scent. These body creams are delicious, and I’m obsessed with body care products. The scent is divine, and this is definitely a top pick that I would repurchase. I already have a big one because I love it that much.

Satisfying Empties

Going through all these empties was so satisfying, and now I can finally throw everything out or recycle a lot of these. Let me know what products you guys have used up or things that you will always repurchase. I love trying out new products, but there’s just something about those Classics that I love to keep in rotation. We have a couple of new things in here as well. If you guys have tried any of these, let me know in the comments.

Skincare

First up, let’s talk about skincare. I used up the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and I must say, it did wonders for my skin. The gentle formula cleansed my face without stripping it of its natural oils. Would I repurchase it? Definitely!

Next, I finished the The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum. This serum helped control my breakouts and minimize my pores. It’s a staple in my skincare routine now, so yes, I would repurchase it.

Makeup

As for makeup, I used up the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This concealer provided great coverage and lasted all day. I would definitely repurchase it in the future.

Another product I finished is the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. This mascara gave my lashes length and volume without clumping. It’s a bit pricier, but I think it’s worth it, so yes, I would repurchase it.

Haircare

Moving on to haircare, I emptied the Herbal Essences Bio Renew Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo. This shampoo left my hair feeling soft and smelling amazing. I would repurchase it for sure.

I also used up the OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner. This conditioner helped keep my hair hydrated and manageable. I would definitely repurchase it in the future.

Overall, these products have been staples in my skincare routine, and I will continue to repurchase them in the future. They have proven to be effective, reliable, and a joy to use. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t already.

After using up these products, the nourishing belly butter and the other Desi product have proven to be effective in providing the hydration my skin needs. Despite the challenges of purchasing from certain platforms, the quality of the products themselves made it worth the investment. I would definitely consider repurchasing them in the future to maintain healthy and well-nourished skin.
