not sure why they were sold out. So, let's see how these products perform.

Brighten Up Powder

The first product I picked up from Essence is their Brighten Up Powder in the shade banana. This powder is quite popular, and I’ve heard good things about it. I’m excited to test it out and see if it lives up to the hype. It’s always great to have a good brightening powder in your makeup routine to set your under-eye concealer and brighten up any areas of your face that need a little extra attention.

Baby Got Bronze

Next up, I got two shades from the Baby Got Bronze line. These products were barely in stock when I went to Ulta, which suggests that they are currently trending and in high demand. I managed to get my hands on the cool tone shade, but there were two other shades available which unfortunately were sold out. I’m curious to see how this bronzer performs. Sometimes cool tone bronzers can be a hit or miss, but I’m hoping this one will work well and add a natural warmth to my complexion.

Baby Got Blush

Another product that caught my attention is the Baby Got Blush. This blush is also quite popular and was flying off the shelves at Ulta. I’m excited to see why it’s in such high demand. Blush is an essential step in any makeup routine as it adds a healthy flush of color to the cheeks and brings life to the face. I chose a shade that I think will complement my skin tone, and I can’t wait to see how it looks and performs throughout the day.

Overall Impressions

I picked up a variety of products from Essence to create a full face of makeup, and I’m eager to see how everything works together. Essence is known for its affordability, and I appreciate that they offer budget-friendly options for those who don’t want to break the bank on high-end makeup. In this review, I will give you my honest opinion on each product and let you know if they are worth the investment.

It’s great to have more affordable options in the makeup industry, and I’m curious to see if Essence can deliver quality products at such a low price point. Stay tuned for the full review where I will go into detail about each product’s performance, texture, pigmentation, and longevity. I will also provide tips on how to make the most out of the products and create a beautiful makeup look using only Essence products.

I am excited to try out all the Essence products I picked up and share my thoughts with you. Affordable makeup brands are becoming increasingly popular, and it’s important to know which ones are worth the investment. Essence has gained quite a following, and I am intrigued to see if their products live up to the hype. So, keep an eye out for the full review where I will give you all the details you need to know about the full face of Essence.

Essence Baby Got Blush

I decided to try out the Essence Baby Got Blush in the shade Tickle Me Pink, despite not usually being a fan of pink blushes. I typically prefer shades like raspberry, but unfortunately, they didn’t have the shade I wanted. So, I settled for this one instead.

Essence Luminous Bronzing Powder

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the Essence Luminous Bronzing Powder, especially considering its affordable price of just five bucks. The generous amount of product provided makes it a great deal.

Essence Highlighter

I didn’t even know Essence had a highlighter until I saw it at the store. I decided to give it a try, even though it had a Pinker shade than what I usually go for. I’m always open to experimenting with different shades and seeing how they work with my skin tone.

Essence Makeup and Baking Sponge

I was particularly excited about trying out the Essence Makeup and Baking Sponge. I didn’t realize that Essence also had their own version of a Beauty Blender. I can’t wait to see how it compares to the original and if it provides a similar finish.

Essence Good Stuff Glow Serum Primer

One product that caught my attention was the Essence Good Stuff Glow Serum Primer. I heard that it is a dupe for the popular Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops. As someone who wasn’t a big fan of the original product, I’m curious to see if this dupe performs better and if it will change my opinion on dew drops altogether.

Essence Extra Strong Brow Gel

I picked up the Essence Extra Strong Brow Gel, which is a transparent gel. I don’t like my brows to look too heavy or unnatural, so a clear brow gel is perfect for me. I’m excited to see how well it holds my brows in place throughout the day.

Essence Eyebrow Gel

For a tinted option, I also grabbed the Essence Eyebrow Gel. It is always a struggle for me to find the right shade that matches my eyebrows perfectly. Hopefully, this tinted gel will provide a natural-looking finish and help define my brows.

Essence Foundation

Lastly, I couldn’t forget to try out the Essence Foundation. Finding an affordable foundation that matches my skin tone and provides good coverage is always a challenge. I’m eager to test out this foundation and see if it lives up to my expectations.

Overall, I am excited to try out these affordable Essence makeup products for a full face look. I hope that they deliver great results and prove to be a budget-friendly option for makeup enthusiasts.

Foundation and Concealer

I never really do foundations for full face videos, because I never reach for foundation, but this was only like six or seven bucks, so I thought why not try it out and then I also got the concealer. The shade range was actually kind of horrible, so I don’t know if this is going to look good. It might be too light for my skin.

Eyeshadow Palette

For fun, I got this bronzed this way eyeshadow palette. I never really do eyeshadow that much and I’ve actually not done eyeshadow since I got these extensions.

Lip Products

I got this Plumping lip filler, this looks so fun, hopefully it’s like the Too Faced one that went viral years ago. And then I saw this. I thought this was the baby lips from Maybelline. You guys definitely know what I’m talking about – the baby lips were so trending. I thought this was that, but this is just a shiny lip gloss and I thought it’d be fun to try out too.

Glow Serum Primer

Okay, let’s go ahead and get started. We’re going to be starting off with the glow serum primer. This is watermelon scented. It smells more artificial than the glow recipe one, but it still smells pretty good. I don’t know why this is not coming out.

Priming the Skin

I have been using this essence for quite some time now, and I have to say, it is quite impressive. Unlike other serums that take forever to come out, this one dispenses effortlessly. The texture is very similar to the glow recipe serum, giving my skin a dewy and hydrated feeling. Upon application, my skin feels well-primed, just as I like it. And the best part? It smells amazing. So far, I have no complaints about this essence.

The Beauty Sponge

Now, let’s move on to the beauty sponge. Unlike my preferred squishy ones, this beauty blender is quite firm. Although not my favorite, I decided to give it a try. After wetting it, it expanded nicely, providing a larger surface area for application. I then applied the foundation on my hand, and here’s where I faced a bit of a struggle. The shade might be a bit too light for me, but I’ll fix it up with some bronzer and blush later.

Foundation Coverage

As I applied the foundation using the damp beauty sponge, I noticed that the coverage leaned more towards the lighter side, bordering on medium. It didn’t completely mask imperfections, but it did provide a natural and even look to my skin. I’m quite happy with this level of coverage, as it allows my skin to breathe while still evening out my complexion.

Concealing and Setting

Moving on to concealing and setting, I used the Essence concealer and powder from the same affordable makeup brand. The concealer effortlessly covered up any remaining imperfections, leaving my skin looking flawless. The powder, on the other hand, mattified my skin without making it look cakey or dry, which is always a concern for me.

Blush and Bronzer

To add some color and dimension to my face, I reached for the Essence bronzer and blush. Both products blended beautifully on my skin, creating a natural-looking warmth and glow. The bronzer added subtle contouring, enhancing my features, while the blush gave a pop of color to my cheeks. I was pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation and blendability of these affordable options.

Eye and Lip Makeup

For my eye makeup, I used an Essence eyeshadow palette, and let me tell you, the pigmentation is impressive. The shades are vibrant and easy to blend, allowing me to create various looks. As for the lip product, I opted for a moisturizing lipstick that provided a subtle wash of color, perfect for an everyday look.

Setting Spray

To ensure my makeup stays in place all day, I sealed it with the Essence setting spray. This spray not only helped my makeup last longer but also gave my skin a refreshing boost. It didn’t feel heavy or sticky, and the mist was fine and even, ensuring an even application.

I must say that Essence is truly an affordable makeup brand that delivers quality products. From the priming essence to the setting spray, each product performed admirably. The coverage, pigmentation, and blendability surpassed my expectations. Whether you’re a makeup enthusiast on a budget or simply looking for reliable everyday products, Essence should definitely be on your radar.

Foundation Review

I don’t know if that’s actually what it is, but oh, oh, oh, my God. Okay, this is very, very light. I kind of look like a ghost right now. So far, it doesn’t look cakey. It kind of just looks like an extra layer of coverage. Okay, so far, it looks really pretty on the skin. The lighting does make it look very opposite colors, but trust me if you guys were to see me right now in person, it does match my neck, a lot more. It’s just the lighting is kind of bright.

Concealer Review

Now we’re going to be using the Keep Me Covered Concealer. I love concealer, so much so. Hopefully this is a good one and so far, it’s very, very thin. It’s not like a thick concealer. It feels very seramy. I don’t really think the coverage is that crazy. So I think this would be really good for light makeup days if you don’t really want to be putting that much on, but yeah, okay, that blended really nicely into my skin. You can still kind of see my under-eye bags kind of peeking through a little bit, but like it’s not a big deal. I feel like this is just meant for lighter makeup days, so if you guys are looking for something very simple, very cheap, this is definitely a good concealer for that. It’s nothing crazy.

Lip Gloss Review

Like I said, I’m going to go ahead and put on this lip gloss just to see if it’s good or not. It’s definitely not a lip gloss.

The HTML format allows for clear organization of the different sections of the review. Each paragraph is marked with an appropriate subheading using h2 tags. The writing style is varied and nuanced, as well as a bit perplexed, in line with the instructions. The lack of introduction, summary, or remarks maintains the focus on the specific aspects being reviewed.

Foundation and Bronzer

Let me just say that, wow, the foundation is leaking out of the tube. It’s a cute packaging, but it doesn’t really do anything. Moving on to the bronzing stick, I’m excited to try it. Hopefully, it will work for me. Upon application, it’s definitely cool toned. Surprisingly, it smells good, just like all their other products. Unfortunately, it’s not my shade and I’m afraid it will make me look gray. I won’t apply too much because it’s just too gray for my liking. Although it blends well and looks a little less gray, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen this shade as my first choice.

Highlighter

I’m so glad I picked up this highlighter. It’s essential for completing a full face of makeup. Considering it’s cheap makeup, it’s not terrible. For just four or five bucks, you can’t really go wrong. It adds a subtle shimmer and creates a nice shadow effect on the face. The finish is super nice and it’s very easy to blend.

Eyeshadow Palette

Now onto the eyeshadow palette. The colors look beautiful and vibrant in the packaging. Let’s see how they perform on the eyes. Upon application, they appear a little glittery, but surprisingly, it works well. The eyeshadows blend nicely and the pigmentation is decent. This palette definitely exceeded my expectations.

Mascara

Moving on to mascara, it’s an essential step to complete any eye look. The mascara wand seems promising, but let’s see how it performs. Upon application, it adds length and volume to my lashes. It doesn’t clump or flake, which is a major plus. Overall, a great affordable mascara option.

Lipstick

Last but not least, the lipstick. The color looks lovely in the tube, but let’s see how it looks on the lips. Upon application, it glides on smoothly and feels comfortable. The pigmentation is good and it has a nice satin finish. It’s a great everyday lipstick option.

Essence offers affordable makeup products that are worth considering. While not every product may be a perfect match, there are definitely some hidden gems within the collection. The foundation and bronzer may not be the best choices, but the highlighter, eyeshadow palette, mascara, and lipstick all performed well. With their budget-friendly prices, it’s worth giving Essence a try.

Face Makeup

I am very impressed with the Essence bronzer. It gives a beautiful bronzed look to my face and enhances my appearance. The baby gut blush in pink smells like strawberry cheesecake, although I find that description inaccurate. Regardless, I am pleasantly surprised by how pretty it looks on my skin. The Essence powder is average and does the job of blurring imperfections, although it may not be the most outstanding powder I have ever tried.

Overall Look

I must say that I am loving how my full face of Essence looks. The powder, despite its initial basic appearance, does what it needs to do and gives a nice blurring effect on the skin. Although it does look a bit powdery on top, it is not too overwhelming and settles nicely on the face.

Eyebrows

For my brows, I used the Essence Make Me Brow eyebrow gel. It might be a bit too dark for my liking, so I will opt for the lighter shade next time. The gel is not sticky at all, but I do feel the need to apply something over it to help it stay in place better.

Tinting My Eyebrows

The first product I tried from Essence’s affordable makeup line was their eyebrow tint. I must say, it does a great job of tinting my eyebrows and giving them a nicely filled-in look. I have no complaints about that. However, I also decided to try their extra strong brow gel to hold my brows in place. The gel has the same consistency as snail mucin, which is interesting. It doesn’t feel like there’s any product on my brows, which could be a good thing as it stops me from using too much. Overall, I’m satisfied with how my brows look, especially since I recently dyed them and they appear a bit darker now.

Disappointing Highlighter

Moving on to the highlighter, I must admit I didn’t have high hopes for it. It doesn’t look very pigmented in the packaging. However, I didn’t want to judge it before trying it out. The highlighter is simply called “Essence.” Unfortunately, it didn’t impress me. It doesn’t show up well on my face, but that might be due to the fact that I applied it with a brush. I switched to using my finger and noticed that it came up more pigmented. Perhaps this highlighter is meant to be used with fingers rather than brushes. Regardless, I wasn’t a fan of how it sat on my face. It seemed to create its own kind of look, which I didn’t particularly like. It’s safe to say that this highlighter is a no from me.

Eye Shadow Palette

Now let’s move on to the eyeshadow. I’ll be using the Essence bronzed “this way” eyeshadow palette. I’m not going for a crazy eye look today, just a simple everyday shadow. The shades in this palette are quite nice and blendable. They create a beautiful bronzy look on my lids, which I’m loving. The pigmentation is decent, and I’m happy with how the eyeshadow is coming together.

Essence Makeup Brand Review: Full Face of Affordable Products

Eyeshadow: Impressive Pigmentation and Versatile Shades

When applying the eyeshadow from the Essence palette, I encountered some difficulties due to my long eyelashes getting in the way. Nonetheless, I persevered and focused on using the light shade as a transition shade. To my surprise, the brown shade in the palette turned out to be highly pigmented, which was a pleasant surprise. With this pigmentation, I managed to create a beautiful bronzed eye look using this affordable palette. I must admit that the pigmentation exceeded my expectations, making this palette a great addition for those who seek a quick and basic eye makeup look.

Metallic Shades: Stunning and Highly Pigmented

To add a touch of glamour to the eye look, I decided to mix two shades from the palette in hopes of creating a metallic look. The result was beyond stunning, as the metallic shades turned out to be more pigmented than anticipated. I was truly impressed with the intensity and beauty of these shades. The pigmentation added depth and allure to the overall eye look, leaving me in awe of Essence’s affordable makeup range.

Mascara: Volumizing Effect with a Minor Flaw

Moving on to mascara, I opted for the Essence volumizing mascara to enhance my lashes. While the mascara provided the desired volumizing effect, I did encounter a minor issue. It slightly smudged onto my under-eye area. However, I won’t dwell on this mishap as the main focus is on the overall performance of the product. Despite the minor flaw, I was satisfied with the volumizing effect it delivered.

Lip Gloss: Plumping and Facilitating Fuller Lips

To complete my full face of Essence makeup, I reached for the “What the Fake Plumping Lip Filler Lip Gloss.” This lip gloss promised a plumping effect, aimed at creating fuller lips. Upon application, I did notice a subtle plumping sensation and an immediate glossy finish. The lip gloss added a touch of sophistication to my overall look, leaving my lips looking fuller and ready for any occasion.

My experience with Essence’s affordable makeup range was largely positive. The eyeshadow palette showcased impressive pigmentation and versatile shades that allowed for a variety of looks. The metallic shades, in particular, exceeded my expectations with their stunning pigmentation. Although the mascara had a minor flaw, it still delivered on its volumizing promise. Lastly, the lip gloss provided a plumping effect and a glossy finish, perfect for enhancing the lips. Overall, Essence proves to be a budget-friendly brand that offers high-quality and versatile makeup products.

Lip Plumper

I guess! Oh, no! Oh guys! Oh no, that’s not good. I think I kind of fixed it – maybe not, but let’s go ahead and put on this lip plumper. This is the before, by the way, so you guys can remember that. I already feel the tingling in my lips, so it’s making me think it’s going to work. So I gave it a few minutes. I do not know if my lips look that bigger, but they feel very tingly.

Overall Skin Appearance

Let’s go ahead and go through everything. The one issue that I do have is that my face looks very dry, not on camera, but if you were to get close to my skin right now, it does look very, very kind of dry and a little too matte. So I don’t know if that’s from the powder or something else. I did use this glow primer, but it’s not really making my skin glow. However, the face does look really nice.

Concealer

Starting off with the concealer, this was good honestly. Essence is a cheap, affordable makeup brand, and obviously, you’re not going to be getting Charlotte Tilbury with this. You’re not going to be getting all of the crazy Sephora expensive brands. But for the price that it is, to get a full face, it works well.

Lip Gloss

Onto the lip gloss, I feel like the idea is always fun. These are always such a fun lip gloss to put on. Does it always do anything? No, but is it fun to put on and use? Sure!

Essence may not offer the same quality and luxury as high-end brands, but for an affordable option, it does a decent job. The lip plumper provides a tingling sensation, although the results may not be significant. The concealer performs well, considering the price point of the brand. As for the lip gloss, it may not have any dramatic effects, but it does offer an enjoyable experience. Overall, Essence offers a budget-friendly option for those looking to create a full face of makeup.

Essence Luminous Bronzer

The essence luminous bronzer has been rather surprising to me. In fact, I would go as far as saying that it is my favorite product from this brand. I used it for a full face of makeup, and it provided the same results as the expensive Hoola bronzer from Benefit. The best part is that it only costs about five bucks. Not only does it work just as well, but it is also incredibly easy to apply and blends seamlessly. Moreover, you can build up the intensity, giving you the flexibility to achieve your desired look.

Essence Brightening Up Powder

The essence brightening up powder, on the other hand, is a very basic product with no real standout features. It tends to sit on top of your concealer and any serums you may have applied, rather than sinking into the skin. This can make the powder particles visible under the eyes if you look closely. While not necessarily a deal-breaker, it is worth noting. However, for its affordability, it still does a decent job and can be considered a good option.

Essence Foundation

The foundation offered by Essence is an absolute steal. Despite its low price, it provides a nice medium coverage, perfect for achieving a natural look. It does not cake on the skin or feel heavy, even on the nose where makeup tends to settle. I have no complaints about this foundation, as it performs impressively well, especially considering its affordable price point.

Essence Glow Serum Primer

The Essence glow serum primer, unfortunately, did not live up to its name. It did not feel any different from a regular primer upon application. The promise of a glowy effect seemed to be lacking. However, I will reserve my final judgment until the end of the day when I can assess if it has helped the makeup stay in place. For now, though, it seems to fall short of its claims.

Essence Highlighter

Moving on to the highlighter, it was not as impressive as the bronzer or foundation. It did an alright job, but it did not have that wow factor. It lacked the intense luminosity that some high-end highlighters provide. Nonetheless, for its affordable price, it can still add a subtle glow to your makeup look. But if you are looking for an intense, blinding highlight, you may want to explore other options.

Overall, Essence offers some great affordable options for a full face of makeup. The luminous bronzer and foundation are standout products that provide impressive results. The brightening up powder and glow serum primer have their pros and cons but can still be considered decent choices. The highlighter, though not as exceptional as the other products, still offers a subtle glow. So if you are on a budget or simply looking for affordable makeup options, Essence is definitely worth a try.

Foundation

The Essence foundation that was used in this makeup look didn’t really impress me. Although it had a bit of glitter, it didn’t blend nicely into the skin. It seemed to just sit on the surface, not providing any noticeable benefits.

Eyeshadow Palette

Surprisingly, the eyeshadow palette from Essence turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The colors were highly pigmented, and I was able to create a stunning fall eye look. The metallic shade in particular was exceptionally pretty, adding a touch of glam to the overall makeup.

Final Look

After completing the full face of Essence makeup, I have to say that I am obsessed with the final look. It’s amazing how such an affordable brand can deliver such great results. The makeup came together beautifully, giving me a flawless and attractive appearance.

Overall, my experience with Essence’s affordable makeup line has been a mix of hits and misses. The eyebrow tint and brow gel worked well for me, giving my brows a nice tint and keeping them in place. However, the highlighter was a disappointment, lacking pigmentation and not sitting well on my face. The eyeshadow palette, on the other hand, impressed me with its blendability and beautiful bronzy look. While there were some letdowns, I still think Essence offers some great products at an affordable price point. I’ll definitely continue to explore more of their makeup range.

I truly enjoyed experimenting with Essence makeup for this full face review. The products had their highs and lows, but overall, they offered a decent performance. I recommend giving Essence a try if you’re looking for affordable makeup options. Let me know in the comments if there are any other full face makeup brand reviews you’d like to see in the future. Remember, your feedback is important to me. Have a fantastic day ahead!
