NIVEA WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF +++ (FULL REVIEW & LIVE TEST)

Introduction

Sunscreen might be, maybe the must-have item in your beauty routine. It not only protects your skin from harmful UV rays but also helps you maintain healthy and youthful-looking skin.

NIVEA WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF +++ Review

The NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen SPF +++ is a product that promises to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun while providing a light and refreshing feeling. As someone who is constantly on the lookout for new skincare products, I was intrigued by the claims of this sunscreen and decided to put it to the test.

First Impressions

When I first laid eyes on the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen, I was immediately drawn to its sleek and simple packaging. The dominant blue color and the Nivea branding added to its appeal, giving it a sense of familiarity and trustworthiness. The 140g size was generous, and the design of the bottle with a pump dispenser made it convenient to use.

Live Test

I took the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen with me on a day out in the sun to see how it would perform. The gel-like consistency made it easy to apply to my skin, and it absorbed quickly without leaving any sticky residue behind. I immediately noticed how light and refreshing it felt on my skin, almost like I wasn’t wearing any sunscreen at all.

Texture and Consistency

The NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen SPF +++ is indeed a unique product in the skincare market due to its hybrid nature – combining both chemical and mineral sunscreen properties. When applied, the texture of the sunscreen feels light and watery, almost like applying a toner on your skin. It dries off quickly, leaving behind a smooth and matte finish that is comfortable on the skin.

Alcohol Content Controversy

However, one major point of contention among users is the high alcohol content in the sunscreen. Alcohol in skincare products has been known to cause damage to the skin, leading to dryness, irritation, and premature aging. This has definitely raised a red flag for many individuals who are concerned about the long-term effects of using a product with such high alcohol concentration.

LIVE Test and Application

During the live test, the reviewer applied the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen SPF +++ on their hand and face. The sunscreen was quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving a refreshing and water-like sensation. The ease of application and fast drying time make it a convenient option for those on the go or looking for a no-fuss sunscreen option.

No White Cast

So you can see it is great. No white cast no single white cast its crazy, no white cast. It is dried up already.

Texture

Theres! No texture, no extra texture for me come back and check again while I go through the rest of my point going to come back and do like a live um after check of what its still going to look like. Maybe the white c will come back.

Pricing and Availability

This is a good option for you, um currently sold for 10000 or between 8000 to 10000. You can get that. I got this from TI for store, but you can also try um at the beauty, aesthetic on Instagram or you can try um BP on Instagram at the P.

Skin Type Suitability

If youre curious about the skin type that this product works for well Im here, to tell you that it works for Allin skin type, because it is water based because it um doesnt have any extra extra finish. It might work for dry skin. It should work for an oily skin. It should also work for a normal skin, but s the skin I dont know I dont know I really cant see because again it contains alcohol. So that might be something that irate your skin. And might you know I not really be your thing, so you might give it a try, but I dont know I cannot see you get Im going to go back and read through what it claims to do and also tell you if its true or not based On my experience.

Um the sunscreen comes with SPF 50 pa.

Skin Protection

I can’t really tell if it’s providing any protection to keep you from the sun, burns, freckles, and dark spots. I don’t have freckles or dark spots, but I expose myself to the sun. So, yes, it protects my skin from sunburn, so that’s true 100%.

Fragrance and Color

It says it’s free of fragrance and colorant. True, it doesn’t have any fragrance or color, but it’s very economical. It also works as a very good makeup base. I use this as a base before applying my makeup and it leaves no white cast.

Texture

It is not tacky and doesn’t have any greasy feeling to it. It really smooths into my skin and blends in very well. As you can see, there is no residue or grease left on my skin after application.

Comparison

I’ve used a couple of sunscreens that make me look darker, but this NIVEA water gel sunscreen does not have that effect. It doesn’t give any unwanted tint to my skin when I apply it. I’m going to apply it on my face now so you can see how my skin looks like after using it.

Application Experience

So, here we go with the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen SPF +++. It’s time to put it to the test! As I start applying it on my skin, I notice how smoothly it glides on. The gel consistency makes it easy to spread and it doesn’t leave any white cast behind. Within just 30 seconds, it completely blends into my skin, leaving a natural finish.

Texture and Absorption

This sunscreen definitely stands out for its lightweight texture. It feels like water as I massage it onto my skin. The best part is that it doesn’t leave any oily residue. However, if you have dry skin like me, you might need to apply some face oil before using this sunscreen to prevent any dryness.

Long-lasting Protection

After the application, I can feel how the sunscreen becomes one with my skin. It provides a matte finish that is perfect for those with oily skin. The formula dries quickly, giving a comfortable and non-greasy feeling throughout the day. Plus, the SPF +++ protection ensures I’m shielded from harmful UV rays.

Concerns for Sensitive Skin

One of the major drawbacks of the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen is its alcohol content, which may not be suitable for sensitive skin types. Alcohol can often cause irritation and dryness, making it a potential issue for those with delicate skin.

Application and Design

The pump dispenser of this sunscreen seems to be a point of contention for some users. It has been noted that the product can sometimes peel when dispensed, causing pain if it comes into contact with the skin. Additionally, the design of the packaging may not be the most practical for carrying in a purse, as any pressure on the container can lead to peeling.

Recommendation and Rating

Despite these drawbacks, the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen still receives a positive recommendation. While it may not be perfect, it has proven effective for many users. The sunscreen works well for those without sensitive skin, but even those with sensitive skin can give it a try by conducting a patch test. Overall, the product is rated 9 out of 10 for its effectiveness and water-based formula.

I recently got my hands on the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen SPF +++. As always, I decided to put it to the test with my live review process. I applied the sunscreen on my arm, hand, and face to see how it performed in different conditions.

Texture and Application

The NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen has a lightweight and non-greasy texture, making it easy to apply on the skin. It glides smoothly and gets absorbed quickly without leaving any white cast or residue.

Sun Protection

With SPF+++, this sunscreen provides high protection against both UVA and UVB rays. It forms a protective barrier on the skin and helps prevent sun damage, sunburn, and premature aging.

Longevity and Wear

Throughout the day, the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen stays put and does not feel heavy or sticky on the skin. It is water-resistant, making it perfect for outdoor activities and daily wear.

After a few hours in the sun, I was pleased to find that the NIVEA Water Gel Sunscreen had effectively protected my skin from sunburn. My skin felt moisturized and soft, without any greasiness or heaviness. Overall, I was impressed by the performance of this sunscreen and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight and effective sun protection solution.
