I should also mention as well that when I was testing this, I was bringing this down my neck and my chest. I really wanted to see if my neck would tolerate to this, because my neck can be very sensitive to active ingredients, especially Tretinoin, certain retinol products, and even glycolic or lactic acids.

It just depends on the formulation and how strong that active is so, with this being a very strong retinal, I thought for sure my neck was going to be irritated and surprisingly my neck wasn’t. I was shocked because, generally, my neck gets really red and inflamed. My skin is burning, I have that itch to it and then, of course, I break out with all these little whiteheads and that’s usually what happens when my neck is reacting to an active ingredient. And I didn’t get that with this. Now it doesn’t mean that you won’t we’re all different, but for me personally, this was actually very gentle and I really love how moisturizing it is. I also like the texture because it spreads really nicely across the skin.

So this is a pump style packaging which is nice great for travel. Its very durable and one pump will actually give you a true P sized amount and a p sized amount is the amount that you want when youre applying a retinal, a retinol or prescription too, you dont need anything more than a p sized amount.
Application
One pump gave me that P sized amount. It was enough to cover my entire face because it spreads really nicely. But when I was putting this down my neck, I did have to put a little bit extra on my hand to bring that down my neck and a little bit on my chest. So you might need to apply maybe a pump and a half two pumps.
Size Concerns
It really just depends on how much you want to apply and where you want to apply it, but with this being a 15 size which I know is a bummer, I was really taken back when I saw the size of this. I thought for sure that that was an error or I thought well maybe theyre going to come out with two sizes.

You know maybe a 15 mil size that is a great size to test out the product to see if your skin would tolerate. Well to it. Maybe perfect for travel and then maybe they would have a larger size like a 30 mil or maybe even a 50 mil size for that matter. For those that would like to be very consistent with the product, because, if youre using this every every single day or multiple times a week, were going to go through this really quickly and with this being a 15 mil size, this is usually the size of an Eye cream or an eye serum and most of the products from the ordinary are all 30 mil sizes, especially their serums.
Product Size
They do have the pical serum, that is a 15 mil size and then, of course, their eye serum, but everything else is like 30, MS, so I dont know why they came out with a 15 mil size, maybe its expensive, to make. I dont know, but I hope that they come out with a larger size eventually, because that would be really nice for those that would like to be very consistent without having to repurchase. As often now.
Coloring and Quality
The coloring of this, as you probably saw, is a very bright yellow, and that is what you want when youre looking for a retinal, a retinal to hiide, because the more yellow the formulation is, it just means that the quality and the formulation of that specific retinal Is at a good concentration, so the more yellow your retinal can be the better. So if youre using a reel, dehy right now and maybe its at a pretty high strength, but the coloring just isnt, quite there – I dont know I would maybe question that product a little bit, because having that bright, yellow just means that its at that high concentration.
Staining
Now I will say that the ordinary mentioned that this can stain your skin. It can stained clothing fabric towels. They are correct. This does stain your skin, which is why I wanted to film this little clip for you guys to show you so. First of all, I wanted to show you how it applied to the Skin.

So, as you can see, it has that nice texture, where it does spread really nicely, but the very first time that I us this. I saw that initial staining and I thought to myself am I seeing this correctly?

Once I applied everything to my skin and I’m looking in the mirror, I thought wow, like I look really tan, so it made my skin a little bit orange. It kind of gave that tan look a little bit and I mean it looked decent, but it can stain your skin, especially if youre Fair, like myself.
