NEW RARE BEAUTY SOFT PINCH LUMINOUS POWDER BLUSHES

Overview of the New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes

Drop Ive been hearing a lot of Buzz about these, so I did go ahead and pick up four of these six new luminous powder blushes. Now I have been seeing a lot of reviews and first impressions on Tik Tok and its interesting, because I was talking to my friend Cheryl here on YouTube and she was like you know. What do you think about these? Are these going to enhance texture? I cant tell, and I was like I totally get what you mean, because every video on Tik Tok, not every but lets say 99 – has the beauty mode on which is really difficult in terms of trying to see how a product really sits on pores, wrinkles texture.

Details of the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes

So these are the rare Beauty, soft pinch luminous powder blushes, they retail for 26.

Packaging and Shades

There are six shades available. I picked up four of the six and this is what the packaging looks like – really cute and simple. Inside, you have the Luminous powder blush. The shades I picked up are Happy, Hope, Joy, and Love.

Texture Concerns

My only concern is going to be the texture, because I do have pores and textured skin. I know a lot of you are curious to know if this blush is going to enhance texture in an unflattering way or give a soft sheen. I am definitely interested to try that out.

Swatches

The first shade we have is called Happy, a gorgeous pink. The next shade is Hope, a pink shade that looks more natural. The next shade is Joy, a peachy burnt color. The last shade I picked up is Love, the deepest of the four.

Comparing Formulas

So now that we’ve swatched the colors, let’s compare the actual formula with two blushes that I thought would be the most similar in formula the Nabla Cosmetics Skin Glazing Blush and the RMS Beauty Red Dimension Hydra Powder Blush. The Nabla formula is baked, but the Rare Beauty blushes still have more of an illuminating factor to them, which may not be the best for certain textures. Moving on to the RMS Beauty blush, it feels thicker and more like a true powder, with a slightly creamy feel compared to the baked jelly formula of the Rare Beauty blush.

Glow Factor

After swatching, it’s clear that the Rare Beauty blush is more glowy than both the Nabla and RMS Beauty blushes. The level of glow is definitely higher in the Rare Beauty blush, which may be a deciding factor for those who prefer a more illuminated look.

Texture Comparison

The RMS Beauty blush has a thicker consistency, while the Rare Beauty blush and the Nabla blush share a baked jelly type formula. The differences in texture may affect how the blush blends on the skin and how it feels during application. It’s important to consider your personal preference for texture when choosing a blush formula.

Exploring the Pigment

First, using a rare 04 brush to dip into the New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes, one can immediately observe a slight powder kick up. However, the formula is surprisingly thin. The question arises – how much pigment will actually show up on the skin? Strategic application is key here, focusing on keeping the blush higher up on the cheeks.

Building Up Color

Upon application, it becomes evident that the blush is not as pigmented as one might expect. This particular shade lacks intense color payoff, prompting the need to build up the product gradually due to its thin consistency. As the blush is layered, it is interesting to note a subtle glint in the pore area. Is it glitter? The uncertainty adds a touch of intrigue to the makeup application process.

Lighting Matters

Adjusting the lighting can significantly impact the appearance of the blush. The presence of what seems like glitter becomes more pronounced or perhaps diminished depending on the light intensity. Finding the right balance is crucial to truly appreciate the luminous quality of the blush. Experimenting with various lighting setups can reveal different facets of the product.

The Final Look

As the makeup application process unfolds, the final result – in this case, the shade “Hope” – comes into view. Zooming in and out to analyze the product under different lighting conditions provides a broader perspective. The beauty of the New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes lies in its versatility, adapting to various lighting settings and offering a unique shimmer that captivates the eye.

The Peachiest Color

Peachiest color that I picked up and Im going to use yet again a different brush. This is the BB 104 from beauty Bay Im getting a little bit of that powder kick up, so I am going to just start lightly applying, but this is more sheer than I thought it would be.

Introducing the New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes

I thought that this was going to be quite pigmented, like the second color called love. This one is definitely more sheer, but Im liking. This probably the most I mean, I think its beautiful.

Unique Formula and Texture

I do think again its going to enhance texture when you have pores right here. I feel like these are just very I dont know interesting. I dont know if Ive ever tried a formula like this, because the RMS is thicker and creamier, but more pigmented.

Favorite Shade and Application

In my opinion, the only thing thats throwing me off more so than my texture is the visible specks of glitter or iridescent, but I do think this is my favorite shade that weve tried so far so Im going to zoom in – and this is Joy okay.

Trying Out the Shade “Happy”

So I went ahead and redid my base and I want to go in with the final shade. So this is happy which looks like the lightest sort of bubble gum pink that I personally got. There was another shade called cheer, but it looked like it was just a little bit too light and I wanted some more oomph, so I want to try this one with the same BB 104 from beauty Bay, just a clean one.

Sheer Application and Tips

I feel like this brush. Did the best application so Im going to dip in and then dust off? Okay, so pretty sheer, actually really sheer, even more sheer than I had anticipated going in with another layer. These may be something that you may want to not set your cheeks before you use, but I just always set my cheeks like especially before a powder blush.

The Beauty of New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes

As I was hoping for, the new Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes offer a lovely pop of color, reminiscent of Joy but in a delicate pink hue. Happy, on the other side, adds a beautiful touch as well.

Experimenting with Color

Upon closer inspection, I decided to mix in a bit of Joy with Happy to see how they would blend. Joy definitely stands out with its vibrant color payoff, adding a bit more oomph to the overall pigmentation. The combination of the two shades creates a stunning effect that brightens the complexion.

The Beauty of the Blend

When turning my face to the light, the luminous powder blushes truly shine. The formula is lightweight and airy, effortlessly floating on the skin without accentuating pores. It’s a texture unlike any other that I’ve personally experienced, making it a joy to apply on the cheeks.

Initial Impressions and Final Thoughts

After gathering my thoughts, I must say that the new Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes have left a lasting impression on me. The unique formula, lightweight texture, and beautiful color payoff make this a standout product in my makeup collection. Setting your face with a setting spray before applying the New Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes can enhance the overall luminosity of the product. Some shades may appear more pigmented than others, so it is advisable to keep this in mind when choosing a shade.

The Beautiful Glow and Iridescence

These blushes offer a beautiful glow and iridescence that can liven up your cheeks and give you a healthy, vibrant look. However, there are also tiny micro shimmers or glitters in the product that may be visible on the skin. While this adds to the overall glow, some users may prefer a more subtle effect.

A Double-Edged Sword

For some users, the presence of visible shimmer particles may be a concern. While the glow and vibrancy of the blushes are undeniable, the presence of these specks may not be desirable for those looking for a more natural finish.
