NEW DRUGSTORE MAKEUP… So Many GOODIES!

NEW DRUGSTORE MAKEUP... So Many GOODIES!

Maybelline Build a Brow Pen

I recently ordered the new brow product from Maybelline, their Build a Brow. This product is a two-in-one brow pen with a sealing gel. It comes in six shades, and I decided to get two of them – 255 Soft Brown and 259 Ash Brown. Upon swatching, I found that the Ash Brown shade is a muted color that is perfect for a natural look, while the Soft Brown shade is slightly warmer.

According to the instructions, the first step is to shake the pen well. Then, there are two ways to use it: the recommended method is to apply the brow pen first, wait for it to dry, and then use the sealing gel coat to set and shape your brows. The other method is to start with the sealing gel to create the shape and then fill in any sparse areas with the brow pen. Personally, I found the second method easier for my brow shape as it allowed me to see the areas that need filling more clearly. Overall, I am quite happy with the Maybelline Build a Brow pen.

Colourpop Bronze Stix

Another item I purchased is the new Colourpop Bronze Stix. This is a cream bronzer stick with a natural matte finish. It is priced at $10, and I opted for the lightest shade called La Jolla Cove.

When it comes to application, you can use your fingertips, a brush, or a sponge. The cream bronzer is incredibly creamy and blends effortlessly, making it very user-friendly. Its blendability allows for a seamless and natural application. I would definitely recommend giving the Colourpop Bronze Stix a try if you’re in need of a new cream bronzer.

New Drugstore Makeup… So Many Goodies!

Okay, Colourpop. I’m really liking this bronzer stick. LOreal launched a new concealer.. This is the True Match: Radiant Serum Concealer.. I have really high hopes for So I’m hoping it’s not going to be a letdown.

The True Match: Radiant Serum Concealer

At Ulta, there are twenty-four radiant shades available for you to choose from. I picked up two shades, C2 and N3. So this formula is supposed to be very lightweight and crease-resistant. It’s infused with 1.5% hyaluronic acid plus caffeine for that twenty-four-hour hydration wear all day long. Hopefully, that looks good.

I actually like the flat tip and the pointed tip. You can use your fingertips, a brush, or a sponge to apply this. It’s fragrance-free, paraben-free, and non-comedogenic. It’s dermatologist tested, so it’s suitable for sensitive skin.

Whoa. Hold up. Are you guys seeing this? It’s setting so fast. Oh, my goodness. Okay. Not what I was expecting. This has been sitting, maybe for like 30 seconds, not even under my eyes. Whoa. The formula is definitely lightweight, but it’s not stretchy. It’s not as creamy or serum-y as I was anticipating.

Just going to use the tiniest amount of the Bobby Brown Enriched Eye Base on the left eye to see if I need something to help stretch the LOreal to match their radiant serum concealer. Same shade, C2. Same thing with the brush. Do you see that? Especially right there.

New Drugstore Makeup: So Many Goodies!

When it comes to makeup, drugstore brands are always releasing new and exciting products. Today, I will be sharing some of the latest goodies that I have recently tried and tested. From concealers to mascaras, there is something for everyone in this roundup.

Concealer: LOreal True Match Radiant Serum Concealer

The LOreal True Match Radiant Serum Concealer is a game-changer. Its creamy formula provides excellent coverage and does not look dry under the eyes. I found that using a sponge to blend the concealer worked wonders. However, I do recommend using an eye base underneath to help stretch the formula as it sets very quickly.

Foundation: LOreal True Match

The reformulated version of the LOreal True Match Foundation is absolutely beautiful. Its lightweight texture blends seamlessly into the skin when applied with a sponge. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go.

Eyeliner: Maybelline Brow Pen

For those looking for a natural brown eyeliner, the Maybelline Brow Pen does the job perfectly. Its fine tip allows for precise application, creating a subtle and effortless look.

Mascara: LOreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara

Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the LOreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara. With its stunning packaging and multi-step bristle brush wand, this mascara delivers incredible volume to your lashes. The first application is absolutely stunning. While it can get clumpy if you leave too much product on the brush, the bristles help to stretch the formula and create a natural, pretty look. I opted for the black brown shade for a more everyday look, and I am loving it.

Blush: ColorPop Super Shock Cheek

The ColorPop Super Shock Cheek in the shade “The Sheets” is not a new formula, but it is definitely worth mentioning. This matte blush delivers a pretty and natural flush of color to the cheeks. If you are a fan of the viral NYX Fat Lip Oil Drips, you will love this shade.

With so many new and exciting drugstore makeup products hitting the shelves, it’s hard not to get overwhelmed with choices. From concealers to mascaras, these goodies are definitely worth a try. So, next time you’re out shopping for makeup, don’t forget to check out these fabulous products!

Introducing the Nyx Fat Oil Slick Click Vegan Lip Balm

Today, we are diving into the world of new drugstore makeup and exploring the exciting range of products available. One item that caught my attention is the Nyx Fat Oil Slick Click Vegan Lip Balm. Priced at just 11 US dollars, this lip balm promises to provide 12 hours of juicy hydration for all-day comfort, along with pigmented color.

A Juicy Hydration Experience

I decided to give this lip balm a try and purchased two shades. The first shade, “Go Viral,” instantly captivated me with its delicious scent. To my surprise, it was highly pigmented for a lip balm, offering a smooth and ultra-glossy finish. It was exactly what my chapped lips needed, providing intense hydration without any patchiness. I found it to be incredibly creamy and with a pleasant slip, leaving my lips feeling nourished and moisturized throughout the day.

An Unfortunate Match

Next, I swatched the shade “Clout” from the Nyx Fat Oil Slick Click Lip Balm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great match for me. Instead of camouflaging the cracks on my lips, it seemed to accentuate them, resulting in a patchy color payoff. However, I was relieved to discover that the shade “Going Viral” performed much better, leaving my lips looking flawless and vibrant.

The Final Look

With my new drugstore makeup collection complete, I was thrilled with the overall results. The Nyx Fat Oil Slick Click Lip Balm truly impressed me, providing the perfect finishing touch to my makeup look. Excited to see how these products would hold up throughout the day, I decided to put them to the test.

First Update: Lip Balm Reapplication

After some time, I noticed that my lips were no longer feeling dry. However, they were still cracked and in need of another application of the lip balm. Despite this minor setback, I was delighted to see that my lashes remained voluminous, fluttery, and free from any transfer, flaking, or smudging. The LOreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara truly exceeded my expectations and added an extra wow factor to my overall makeup.

Stay tuned for more updates on the wear test of these new drugstore makeup products. I’m excited to see how they continue to perform throughout the day and whether they live up to their promises of long-lasting wear and flawless results.

Eyebrows – Natural and Long Lasting

The new drugstore makeup offers a range of products that have impressed me, specifically when it comes to eyebrows. The color is really nice and my brows look very natural in different lights. Even after hours of wear, they haven’t budged at all. It’s great to find a product that stays in place and still looks natural.

Beautiful and Subtle Bronzers

Another standout product is the bronzers from ColorPop. The color is subtle but noticeable. It’s still there even after a long day. I love how it adds a touch of warmth to my complexion without being overpowering. The bronzers give a natural and sun-kissed glow.

Lightweight and Crease-Proof Concealer

The concealer is also a winner in my book. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t crease as much as I expected. Even after hours of wear, it still stays in place. I’m impressed with its blendability and how seamlessly it covers any imperfections. This concealer is a new holy grail product for me.

Exciting New Makeup for the Holidays

I recently had the opportunity to try out some new drugstore makeup products and I am blown away by the quality. As I film this, I’m surrounded by the holiday lights at Cheekwood Estates. It’s such a beautiful setting, and I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts on these goodies.

Incredible Formula Mascara

Starting with the most exciting product, the LOreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara has completely exceeded my expectations. The formula is simply incredible. It adds intense pigment to my lashes, and I love the black brown shade. The mascara lengthens and defines my lashes beautifully. It can also be layered for extra volume. The lift and curl it provides are stunning.

Perfect Brow Pen

The eyebrow two-in-one build-a-brow pen is another standout item. If you’re a fan of brow pens, this one is a must-try. I wore it outside for a while with a hat on, and my brows remained in place. They looked sharp and natural throughout the day. I can’t emphasize enough how much I am loving this build-a-brow pen from Maybelline.

An Issue with True Match Concealer

However, I do have one complaint regarding the new LOreal True Match radiant serum concealer. I haven’t noticed much blendability with this product. It works better when applied with an eye base. Despite this issue, the rest of the products have impressed me.

Eye Base or Eye Cream for Drier Under Eyes

If you have drier under eyes or even normal under eyes that are not oily, I would suggest applying an eye base or an eye cream. This will provide a little bit of slip to the concealer formula, making it easier to spread. The formula itself is extremely lightweight, almost featherweight.

Colorpop Bronzer Stick

Now, let’s talk about the bronzer stick from ColorPop. I don’t really have any complaints about this product. However, if you have oilier skin, I would recommend setting the bronzer with either a powder bronzer on top or a loose powder. This will help to set the formula in place. But overall, the bronzer is very creamy, blendable, and buildable. It’s a really stunning cream bronzer stick.

Lip Oil Sticks from NYX

Now, let’s move on to the lipsticks. Specifically, the lip oil sticks from NYX. If you have dry lips, especially in cold and dry weather, these lip oil sticks are perfect for you. They provide great hydration and I have personally lost count of how many times I’ve reapplied it throughout the day. However, this is just due to my lip type – I have very dry lips all year round. But overall, I love the convenience of the stick and my lips looked and felt great all day long.

Thank you for watching and spending time with me. I’ll see you next week!

As a makeup enthusiast, trying out new drugstore makeup products is always exciting. The Colourpop bronzer stick has proven to be promising, while the LOreal True Match: Radiant Serum Concealer has fallen slightly short of expectations. However, with its lightweight formula and long-wear capabilities, it still holds potential for those seeking a versatile concealer option. With the wide range of shades available and its suitability for sensitive skin, it’s worth a try. As always, personal preferences and experiences may vary, so it’s important to experiment and find what works best for your unique skin type and preferences.
