Okay, I’m kind of really cheating with product number one and that’s because it’s not one product, it’s actually several several several products. But let me explain: all of the products that I just held up are products that I’ve talked to you guys about so many times that I can’t even keep track like we’re talking Dermatology Needleless Serum, The Ordinary Multi-Pep Plus Copper Peptide Serum, The Skinic Andjoy Super Mild Sunscreen, and Sarah V Healing Ointment.
Instead of boring you guys to tears and reading off the ingredients in these products, one by one, yet again for the millionth time, I thought it would be better if I just lumped all of these together in one spot and let you know that yes, these products that I’ve raved to you guys about so many times before are still my favorites. But I felt like it was getting a bit redundant talking about all of these products, so just know yes, I still love them and still use them all the time.

This is officially the most hydrating cleanser I have ever tried in my entire life, and that’s saying a lot. I test out a lot of cleansers and I am extremely picky about the ones that I keep in my collection. I don’t know why. I just did that. The main reason I started using this product this year is because it contains hypochlorous acid, which is a non-irritating way to prevent breakouts. If you’re not familiar with hypochlorous acid, it’s basically an antimicrobial ingredient and that’s really helpful in preventing acne. Because one of the main causes of acne is bacteria. You guys know, I love a good Mist, it’s just something that feels so refreshing to apply.
Product 2: Geek and Gorgeous 101 Liquid Hydration
This next product is a favorite and also a Mist. It’s called the Geek and Gorgeous 101 liquid hydration. This Mist contains 5 panol, sodium PCA, urea sorbitol, lysine, PCA, allantoin, and lactic acid. These are natural moisturizing factors that really help to hydrate, replenish, calm, and soothe the skin. I enjoy reaching for this when I have active irritation going on, but I also just like using it on a daily basis because it prevents my skin from becoming overly reactive. It feels incredibly nice, refreshing, and hydrating. The Mist is of an incredibly fine texture, making it a beautiful addition to my skincare routine.
Product 3: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout Serum
The other main product I added to my routine this year to help get rid of texture is the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout Serum. The primary exfoliants in this serum are 2% salicylic acid and 3% lactic acid. These ingredients work together to gently exfoliate the skin and improve texture. However, this serum also includes other ingredients to calm, soothe, and hydrate the skin, ensuring that the exfoliants do not cause excess irritation.
My Top 10 2023 Skincare Favorites!
1. Niacinamide, Zinc, PCA, Aloe, Hyaluronic Acid, and Postbiotic Ferment
Once I started using this skincare product consistently, I was shocked by how much it improved my skin texture. This combination, along with a few other ingredients, completely got rid of my skin problems. I thought it would be a more difficult journey, but this product proved me wrong.
2. Nutura Multi Peptide Moisturizer
Out of all the moisturizers I tried this year, there are two that stood out the most. The first one is the Nutura Multi Peptide Moisturizer. It’s lighter in weight compared to the other one. I used this moisturizer throughout different seasons because it works for me in various ways. It’s not a thick, heavy cream, which is why I loved applying it in the morning when I wasn’t wearing makeup during winter and spring.
The standout ingredients in this moisturizer are hoba seed oil, squala, niacinamide, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and pantholops camide cream. The texture of this moisturizer is incredible it’s soft, silky, and pillowy. It feels luxurious on the skin, and the product contains many beneficial ingredients like shea butter, leathan, hoba oil, ceramides, phospholipids, Dania oil, watermelon seed oil, cholesterol, and hyaluronic acid. I’ve already emptied this product and need to repurchase it, especially now that we’re in the full swing of winter here in Minnesota.
3. XYZ Serum
The XYZ Serum has become an essential part of my skincare routine. Its powerful blend of anti-aging ingredients such as retinol, hyaluronic acid, and peptides has visibly reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
