My Hair Growth Update

My Hair Growth Update

Scalp Micro Needling

I have not microneedled my scalp yet but I’m thinking about it. This could be the worst decision I’ve ever made or one of the best but we’ll find out.

Tools and Treatments

I’ve been using products from the Iris store, hair growth shampoos and conditioners, and an Indian brand of hair repair. The hair repair product doesn’t grow hair, but it helps to repair it. In addition, I’ve been taking vegan Nutriful, not the fish-based version but the vegan one.

Dr. Heidi’s Recommendation

Dr. Heidi, a pediatric Dermatologist, has been a great help in my hair growth journey. She mentioned how much she loves Nutriful, which prompted me to start using it. I’m excited to be working with them on a video to explain why it takes so long to grow hair, not just long, but strong and healthy as well.

New Hair Growth

I must say, I’m impressed with the new growth of my hair. Although it may not be my natural curls right now, I’m loving the transformation. Even against the blue background, I can see the difference in the quality and strength of my hair strands.

Feeling Confident

Wearing a dress from Rental Runway has boosted my confidence. I feel like a new person, ready to take on the world with my improved hair growth and overall appearance. Confidence is key, and today I’m feeling it!

Neutri for Hair Growth

I have been using Neutri for about 45 days now, almost finishing my second bottle. Despite not completing a full round of treatment yet, I have noticed some positive changes in my hair growth.

Bond Repair and Nutriful Vegan Supplement

I have not been using Bond repair for my split ends or the Nutriful vegan supplement to stimulate hair growth. Instead, I have been focusing on a different approach to improving my hair health.

Iris Store Helmet

One of the main tools I have been using is the Iris Store Helmet. I started with the white professional version and recently upgraded to the elite model. These helmets have been instrumental in my hair growth journey.

Consistency is Key

It is important to note that these treatments and supplements will only work if used consistently. Over the past couple of years, I have remained committed to using the Iris Store Helmet regularly, and the results speak for themselves.

Before and After Pictures

While I may not have before and after pictures to show you at the moment, I can confidently say that I have seen a noticeable improvement in the overall health and thickness of my hair since incorporating these products into my routine.

The Journey So Far

Looking back at the photo, it’s clear to see the transformation my hair has been through over the past few months. From where it started to where it is now, the journey has been quite a rollercoaster.

A Rough Patch

About six months ago, my life took a nosedive. I neglected my skincare routine, started breaking out, and even stopped using my helmet. It felt like everything was falling apart, and I couldn’t find my way back to feeling like myself again.

A Turning Point

Determined to make a change, I decided to reclaim my confidence and embark on a journey to better self-care. This meant getting back to using my helmet and seeking advice from experts like Dr. Heidi.

The New Approach

Upon Dr. Heidi’s recommendation, I started taking a hair growth nutraceutical supplement about 45 days ago. This supplement, filled with vitamins and plant extracts like ashwagandha, aims to nourish the body from within, providing it with the essential building blocks needed for healthy hair growth.

The Importance of Nourishment

It’s fascinating to think about how our bodies grow and develop from infancy to adulthood. The nutrients we feed ourselves serve as the foundation for our growth, helping us become the individuals we are meant to be.

My Hair Growth Journey

When I first came across Nutriful online, I was hesitant to try it due to my vegan and cruelty-free lifestyle. However, after learning that they have a vegan line, I decided to give it a chance. I have been taking the supplements for 45 days now and have already seen some exciting results.

A Trip to the Korean Scalp Clinic

During my hair growth journey, I also visited a Korean Scalp Clinic in Korea. Despite not being able to edit and share the videos from my visits yet, I can attest to the incredible transformation my hair has undergone since June 2023.

Before and After Transformation

The difference in my hair from June 2023 to January 2024 is truly remarkable. The emergence of new baby hairs has left me feeling ecstatic about the progress I have made so far. Even though I am only 45 days into the Nutriful supplements, the results speak for themselves.

The Power of Nutriful

Nutriful has conducted extensive studies and research to demonstrate the effectiveness of their products. The before and after photos of individuals who have used Nutriful consistently for 3 to 6 months are truly impressive. I admire Nutriful’s dedication to conducting thorough research and clinical studies to ensure the validity of their products.

The Impressive Studies

When I look at those studies I’m very impressed by the way they were conducted, basically how they were conducted by whom they were conducted and then on top of that, how they actually work.

The Morning Routine

I take four in the morning and they’re not disgusting, they’re not like too big. Now there are a ton of different things in here. We have vitamin A, C, D, E, K2, B12, iodine, zinc, and selenium, and these are great because you want to make sure that your body has the right amount of nutrients.

Talk to Your Doctor

If you’re low in vitamin D or if you have thyroid issues, talk to your doctor, don’t talk to me. Don’t get the information from the internet, go to your primary care provider or an endocrinologist.

The Essential Nutrients

What I love is that they have all these vitamins in here, but they didn’t just shove a bunch of biotin in it. Biotin is something that everyone talks about for hair and nails, but there isn’t a lot of evidence to support it, and so, while it’s in some supplements it’s just not bad but it’s not helpful, and I love that they don’t have it in here.

The Adaptogens

This also has that ashwagandha, which we can talk about adaptogens, basically work by theoretically stressing out the body so that the body can adapt to that stress and it can therefore adapt better to other stressful situations. But they do have things like vitamin D’s algae as well as vitamin B12, which you know as cyanic kabalin because of the ordinary pink serum.

Exploring Adaptogens

Ill put some research about adaptogens in general uh. In the description, so you can go check them out if youre curious, but on top of that they have this specific nutrifil blend, and this is what was so interesting. They have Corella, they have a pea Sprout. They have eltin ayine beetroot powder, they have a basilis extract, a bamboo extract. They have some silica, they have some capisum fruit which Im not actually sure what that is, but it sounds like capin, but I think it is different and theres no gelatin theyre.

Vegan-Friendly Capsules

Basically, these vegetable, cellulose and rice capsules, so they dont, have any gelatin. They are vegan and they dont harm any of the animals. You see theyre tiny, I dont have a problem with them, but I love you now they do have this syneren plant complex and again.

Potent Ingredients

I want to look into every single one of these ingredients and understand them more, but we spoke about that ashwagandha. There is Sal pometto theres, actually, a CO2 extract of fatty acids, theres dragon head flowers, liposomal curcumin, which is important liposomal relating to liposomes, is basically you can think of them as little fatty Bubbles, and these fatty bubbles actually encapsulate things so that your body can absorb Them better and curcumin is amazing, its actually found in turmeric.

Enhanced Absorption

Basically, the absorption and the efficacy is boosted when you mix turmeric and black pepper. So the curcumin in here is actually in a bioavailable form that your body can absorb, which is fantastic and again thats.

Exploring Capsinoids

Why? I think that the capsinoids I I believe that that is pepper, but I could be wrong, which is why I want to dig into all of this so much more. This also has full spectrum Palm extract. It has toopal complex and hyaluronic acid and the before and afters that Ive seen of this are so impressive, and what Dr Heidi and other derms have shared with me is very impressive, so Im going to continue using this and monitoring my progress.

Continued Use and Monitoring

Im going to continue Using this, but I also want to share with you some of the things that Ive started for my hair health or that I havent started yet, but I am planning to and again, if you want details on these, they are in the description, theres, also coupons or Discounts, if that is of interest to you, but again, Im only a little bit under two bottles in so Im going to keep up with my photos and with my progress.

Korean Clinic Treatments

Now at the Korean Clinic, they actually make these custom hair serums. They have a scalp scaling solution, which I love its basically a scalp exfoliator. I was using the inkus scalp exfoliator, but I wasnt a super big fan of it. I just dont feel like it was amazing and I fell in love with the leoon Juan one and then with leoon Juan clinic again, I dont even know what this says. It says RH and then I believe this says yum Jung.

Scalp Treatment

I decided to take a couple of these home and basically just massage them into the scalp. They are only effective for a month because they are whipped up fresh for you in Korea, making it a catch 22 situation. While it may not regrow my hair, it is a part of my hair journey as it is a malic acid Bond complex that strengthens the hair from the lower portion, preventing breakage.

Strength and Health

As my hair is naturally curly and coily, it tends to get many kinks and split ends. Strengthening the hair from the base has helped in making it long, strong, and healthy. This, in turn, reduces the occurrence of split ends which can make the hair look less healthy overall. Although it does not directly affect hair growth from the scalp, it certainly contributes to the overall health of my hair.

Personal Reflections

It’s hard to say for sure if my hair has been looking healthier recently, but I believe it has. The products I have been using have definitely made a difference in the strength and appearance of my hair. While the journey to healthier hair may be challenging, I am in love with the results and the progress I have made so far.

Trying Out New Hair Care Products

This is also an Indian brand, which is great for multiple reasons. It’s inexpensive and from the B minimalist line that I love for skincare. Recently, I’ve been trying out their hair care line, starting with the malic acid Bond repair complex.

Impressive Hair Mask

The hair mask is called Men Cha, and even though I don’t speak Hindi, I can attest to its effectiveness. The creamy texture is lightweight and easy to apply. It’s not a leave-in treatment, so you rinse it off after application. The mask is designed to penetrate the hair cuticle and strengthen it, preventing breakage while hydrating the strands. This is achieved through the inclusion of malic acid and amino acids in the formula.

Benefits Over Traditional Protein Treatments

Unlike some protein treatments that can make hair brittle, I have not experienced any negative effects with this product. In the past, other treatments have left my hair feeling even more damaged and prone to breakage. However, the malic acid Bond repair complex seems to repair and hydrate my hair without causing any additional damage.

The Power of 200g

This is amazing. It is 200 g, its super inexpensive, its a huge bottle. This isnt helping me regrow or grow my hair, but I do think that it is helping my hair look long and shiny and its preventing it from breaking, which is great.

Longer and Shinier Hair

I also feel like my hair, is longer like hello, hello, who is she its coming back? Okay, now you already know that the intrusive thoughts have been intruding and I have been considering Micron needling, my scalp.

The Saga of Microneedling

We actually need to talk about that and whether or not Im going to do it and I have to say I have not micr needled my scalp and I have not put Rogan on it. I have considered it ever since this guy went viral on Tik Tok and if you have not seen his before and afters, I literally did an entire video on the science behind this on the way he does it at home and why it could be dangerous and Terrible or why it could be a great idea, Im considering it, but I also dont want to break off my hair and a lot of people in the comments were saying the same thing if you havent watched that add it to your watch later.

Exploring Scalp Serums

Okay, you will thank yourself later. You will. I promise – but I havent done this yet, but I have been considering it and Ive been considering a lot of treatments such as a ton of scalp serums as well.

The Ordinary Multipeptide Serum

The ordinary is one that I tried. I think this was 2022 that I tried this. I was just not impressed by this. This was one of the ordinary products I didnt love. This is the multipeptide serum for hair density, but Im wondering if I didnt use it right now.

Caraa Kfactor Stimulating Solution

These are also things that Im considering this is from caraa kfactor works with hydrofacial and James Barth. Alus is a brilliant scientist who used peptides to regrow his hair and put them in here. The problem is this: kfactor stimulating solution is like 160 yikes, so Im considering doing this again.

Neoen Night Density Rescue

This neoen was handed to me at an event and Ive been using this spray. I love it, Ive completely gone through it, but they also have things like this night density rescue. I just get the spray on Amazon and I love it, but the way that neoen works is that theyve been around for like 30 years and they have these olfactory Technologies in the product.

Possible Hair Regrowth

Now I thought that this was when I heard about it, but I asked some doctors and derms that I work with and I looked at the studies with them and I was like this is plausible, like MythBusters, plausible, okay and a lot of people have seen great Results and when I look at those before and afters Im, like listen Im, desperate Im willing to try it. I want my hair to last on my scalp.

Exploring New Hair Growth Technologies

I want my hair to grow long, strong, and healthy, but I also aim to promote new hair growth. The old factory technology suggests that our scalp responds to different smells or scents, which can impact our memory, mood, and even pain levels. For instance, peppermint has been known to act as an analgesic by affecting receptors in the body.

Introducing Hair Anchoring Technology

Have you heard of hair anchoring? It is a term used to describe a scent-based technology that helps to keep hair anchored longer in the scalp. Although not a dermatological term, this innovative approach has caught the attention of many individuals looking to improve the health and growth of their hair.

Exploring New Hair Care Strategies

Dr. Shireen Idis recommends throwing the kitchen sink at your scalp to stimulate hair growth and keep those follicles active. By trying out different products and techniques, you give yourself the best chance of maintaining a full head of hair. Although I have not yet incorporated these new strategies into my routine, I am considering adding them to see if they make a difference.

Trying Out New Hair Products

Instead of mixing multiple variables at once, I have been taking things one step at a time. Starting with the IR Restore helmet, I gradually added the neutral to my routine. By isolating these variables, I can better understand which products are providing me with desired results. I plan to continue documenting my journey through photos and videos to track any progress.

The Power of Neutr

Neutr has been a game changer for me. The results have been impressive, and I can see a noticeable difference in the health and growth of my hair. It’s reassuring to know that I’m on the right track with this product.

Scalp Massages

I have to admit, scalp massages feel amazing. They are not only relaxing, but they also help stimulate hair growth. I have incorporated this into my hair care routine, and I can definitely see the benefits.

Multipeptide Serum

Unfortunately, the ordinary multipeptide serum didn’t quite work for me. It’s always a trial and error process when it comes to hair care products, and this one just wasn’t the right fit. It’s important to find what works best for your hair.

The Approach of Dr. Shinra

Dr. Shinra’s advice has been invaluable. She emphasizes the importance of preserving the hair you have while preventing further hair loss. I was intrigued by her suggestion to “throw the kitchen sink at your scalp” and then evaluate the results. It’s a different approach, but one that seems to be working for me.

Experimenting for Results

While the scientific method typically involves adding one element at a time, I have found myself testing multiple products and techniques simultaneously. Desperation can lead to innovation, and I am eager to discover what works best for my hair. Removing unnecessary products and focusing on what truly benefits my hair is my ultimate goal.

IR Restore and Future Plans

IR Restore has been a positive addition to my hair care regimen. The results have been encouraging, with new baby hair growth appearing. I am excited to continue my journey and explore new treatments, such as the scalp treatment in Korea. The experience was incredible, and I look forward to sharing more about it in the future!

My Hair Growth Update…

Questionable Treatments

There are certain treatments that I have tried and loved, while others have left me feeling skeptical. One such treatment is scalp Microneedling, a procedure that I am unsure about. Should I give it a try, or is it a risky move? The medical studies on Microneedling for the scalp can be found in the description, and I urge you to take a look and share your thoughts with me in the comments.

Vegan Hair Care

I am thrilled to have found a vegan and cruelty-free hair care product that actually works. It is refreshing to see a company cater to vegans and provide a high-quality product for healthy hair growth. The discount for the vegan formula is a nice bonus, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to partner with them to share this information with you.

Continued Progress

I am only 45 days into my hair growth journey, but I am committed to documenting my progress. I will keep taking pictures of my scalp, continue using the product, and provide regular updates on my experience. It is important to me to be transparent and share my honest thoughts with you, so stay tuned for more updates in the future.
