Introduction
My current skincare routine is really basic. I’ve gone back to just using four products right now, and this is what my skin is looking like.
My Skin
For those of you that haven’t followed me for a while, I am 37 years old and this is what 37-year-old skin looks like with no work done. I have no Botox, no fillers, and I haven’t done facials in a really long time. I use products that work for my skin, and I tend to change up my routine every 3 to 4 months based on how my skin is doing. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and get some spots here and there.
Cleanser
For my cleanser, I’ve gone back to using the PORE fessional good cleanup benefit cleansing ping mousse. I really like this cleanser because it is light and effectively removes all the grime from my oily skin. I need a cleanser that really cleanses deeply, and this one does the job well. It leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh in the morning and evening.
Toner
Next, I use the XYZ toner. This toner helps to balance my skin’s pH levels and tighten my pores. It also helps to reduce redness and inflammation on my sensitive skin. I find that using this toner both morning and night helps to keep my skin looking clear and healthy.
Serum
My current favorite serum is the ABC serum which is packed with antioxidants and nourishing ingredients. This serum helps to brighten my skin, reduce dark spots, and improve overall skin tone. I apply this serum after toning and before moisturizing, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin since using it.
Moisturizer
Finally, I finish off my skincare routine with the UVW moisturizer. This moisturizer is lightweight yet hydrating, and it contains SPF to protect my skin from harmful UV rays. I find that this moisturizer keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day without feeling greasy. It’s the perfect way to seal in all the goodness from the previous steps in my routine.
Product 1: Tatcha Deep Cleanse
After trying out various products from PR packages, I have come back to using Tatcha Deep Cleanse because it really works for me and I absolutely love it. The gentle yet effective formula of this cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without stripping it of its natural moisture.
Product 2: Omorovicsa Thermal Cleansing Balm
Next, we have Omorovicsa Thermal Cleansing Balm. This cult favorite product is a luxurious treat for my skin. I have been using it as a full-on moisturizer for the past few weeks and it has been fabulous. It has multiple uses, such as a mask, a cleansing milk, a moisturizer, and even a primer for makeup. I initially got the small tube to use before applying makeup, but soon found myself getting addicted to its nourishing effects and ended up purchasing the larger size for everyday use.
Product 3: Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum
Now onto the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum. This powerhouse serum is packed with vitamin C and antioxidants that help brighten and protect my skin from environmental damage. I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall tone and texture of my skin since incorporating this serum into my daily skincare routine.
Product 4: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
Lastly, I cannot get enough of the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. This overnight mask is a game-changer for my skin. It hydrates and nourishes my skin while I sleep, leaving it plump and radiant in the morning. The lightweight gel texture of the mask feels refreshing and soothing on the skin, making it a must-have in my nighttime skincare regimen.
The Cult Favorite Night Cream
Okay. Now, as mentioned, this night cream is a cult favorite. Apparently, they sell one of these every 20 seconds somewhere in the world, because it is that popular. I had used this years ago, totally forgotten about it, and then I ordered it again after finishing my previous night cream.
The Multi-Purpose Wonder Cream
I thought I would use it in between for a couple of days, but I ended up really liking it and couldn’t stop. I even ended up purchasing the larger size because it just worked so well for me. This cream seems to work for everyone, which makes it a must-have in your skincare routine.
The French Drugstore Pharmacy Moisturizer
This night cream is like a gem from a French drugstore pharmacy. It works wonders and I feel like I don’t need anything else when I use it. You can apply it both in the morning and evening, and it leaves your skin looking hydrated, glowy, and dewy. The texture may seem creamy at first, but it gets absorbed nicely without feeling oily or sticky.
The Price Point
While this night cream may be a little pricey, especially in India, it is worth the investment. If you have someone traveling from Europe, it might be a good idea to have them pick it up for you or take advantage of any discounts available online. Interestingly, it seems to be cheaper on certain websites than in stores, so keep an eye out for sales and deals.
Multi-Purpose Cream

It would work well, for you know multiple, like things if you have sensitive skin, if you have oily skin, if you have dry skin, it works for everybody, so yeah currently loving this.
Sunscreen for Sunspots
Okay, now sunscreen wise Ive moved to this guy. This is still uh ISD, its the same company uh, the photo protect one that I was using, but this is actually one that is specifically for people that have a lot of sunspots or pigmentation or that are prone to them, and my dermatologist recommended this. So Ive moved to this um, its pretty similar to the other one. You wont really notice, but its apparently supposed to be better for people that get a lot of pigmentation or sunspots.
Preventing Pigmentation
So I have a lot of freckles Im, also prone to a lot of sunspots and stuff like that um. So my dermatologist recommended that I switch to this one to prevent further pigmentation and sunspots, and so on. Like you can see, I have a big pigmentation mark on my nose here, which I got when I got sunburnt on my uh last trip to Malaysia um, so yeah Ive been using this.
Product 1: Isdin Sunscreen
Whenever I use sunscreen as much as I can so yeah. I finished my last bottle of isdin and then kind of move to this now.
Product 2: Indie Wild Lip Treatment
Last, but not the least, we have the this guy. This is the Indie Wild lip treatment. Now why Ive added this to my skincare routine is cuz its like my night care lip routine, okay, um! So basically every night, when I do like put my cream onto my face and stuff, I put this onto my lips, its a nice thick um. You know lip treatment and mask works really well. The next morning you wake up with really nice soft, not chapped lips, which is pretty amazing and I feel like uh as someone with drier lips.
Daytime Routine: Tinted Lip Balm or Lipstick
In the day I like to use something tinted and, like my birp lip balm or lipstick, or you know something like that is got like some kind of tint to it.
Nighttime Routine: Thick Lip Mask
At night I, like, like a nice thick lip mask. I Ive loved the Lan ones in the past and recently Im loving this as well and, as I said, I love that it leaves your lips softer after because that doesnt happen a lot and its also really nice over stuff. So like right now, Im wearing a matte lipstick, and I can just you know, go over so yeah. It works really well and you can see in instantly your lips feel hydrated. Its also like gives you that glossy finish so its nice to layer its nice.
My Current Skincare Routine
If you just want to kind of use it as a lip treatment, which is what I do overnight – and it works really well for me so guys that is my current skin care routine.
Simple and Basic
Its really simple, its really basic and thats why I kind of wanted to share it with you, because I know often we have like eight products, nine products and yeah. I go through those phases as well, where I really like using a lot of products, but currently Ive kind of gone back into that zone.
Bare Minimum
Of just wanting to use the bare minimum and being happy with it and its working for me, I have no complaints. I like how my skin is looking and yeah. I have a few spots here and there and some things that are not great but its all a work in progress, and I like it.
