According to the description, this concealer is supposed to be lightweight and correct, brighten, blur, and conceal imperfections while giving a natural “Second Skin” finish. It also claims to hydrate the under eye area and provide a smooth, creaseless wear without settling into fine lines.
Unfortunately, these claims did not hold up for me. The concealer felt heavy on my skin and did not blend seamlessly. Instead of blurring my imperfections, it accentuated them, making my under eye area look cakey and creased. It also failed to provide the promised medium to full coverage, leaving me disappointed.

However, as the day went on, my under eye area started to look more textured, dry, and unflattering. It was not the outcome I had expected or hoped for. This was definitely a regretful purchase for me.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand
I know this is a hot take because of how popular and how viral this product has gone several times. Actually, I just don’t think that Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Peak ASM is all that great. I don’t think it’s a must-have in my makeup collection. I don’t think it’s horrible, but I can live without it and I reach for other liquid and cream and stick cheek products more than I reach for it.
The Luminosity and Sheen
I think the reason why it went so viral is because of how you get kind of a blush and a highlighter all in one, but sometimes that luminosity, that sheen is a little bit too much for me. It’s not completely natural-looking and on a daily basis, that’s really what I prefer. Even when I’m using a blush that looks like it could be a combination all-in-one blush and highlighter, I like for it to look a little more natural, more undetectable than Pink Gazza.
The Sponge Tip Applicator
Plus, I really dislike that sponge tip applicator. Now we have all kinds of dupes trying to dupe that product with sponge tip applicators. I actually reach for her matte version of that more because it looks like natural skin. But when I want a combination, looking product that actually looks natural and beautiful and blends out easier and more seamlessly, I reach for the Tarte Maneater Blush and Glow Cheek Plumps.
Underrated Tarte Maneater Blush and Glow Cheek Plumps
I love these, and I just think these are so underrated. I’m pretty sure these are going to be in Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale, and I am going to be getting these in another shade, something a little bit different than the pink and peachy pink that I have now. I just have other products that I reach for more than that Beauty Light Wand in Pink ASM.
Charlotte Tilbury Regret
I must admit, I have a soft spot for Charlotte Tilbury products. There’s something about the brand that always catches my eye. However, there is one product that left me questioning my decision to purchase it. It’s a lovely product, no doubt about that, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
Don’t get me wrong, there are a few Charlotte Tilbury products that I absolutely adore and reach for regularly. But this particular one didn’t make it into my must-have list. And honestly, I don’t feel like I needed to spend my hard-earned money on it.
Fenty Beauty Skin Tint Fail
Now let’s talk about the Fenty Beauty Eavesdrop Blurring Skin Tint. As someone who loves a good skin tint, I was really excited to try this one. After all, it seemed to be a favorite among many of you out there.
However, it didn’t quite work out for me. The main issue I had with it was that it emphasized dryness on my skin that I wasn’t even aware of. As someone with combination skin, I have oily areas in my T Zone, while the rest of my face is pretty normal. But depending on various factors like my skincare routine, the climate, and other variables, my skin can sometimes lean towards dehydration or dryness.
Living in a hot and humid climate, I knew that finding a foundation that would stay put all day was a challenge. But even with a primer, the Fenty Beauty Skin Tint just didn’t cut it for me. It started looking shiny and oily within a short period of time, and the coverage seemed to vanish quickly as well.
No Matter How I Tested It
I tried experimenting with various application techniques, different primers, and even setting powders, but nothing seemed to help. The Fenty Beauty Skin Tint simply didn’t work with my skin.

I have another Foundation which happens to be another Charlotte Tilbury product, which is kind of odd, considering how many Charlotte Tilbury products I actually do love. I just happen to have two in this particular video. I guess because they’re more recent, I do feel like I’m the odd man out here, though, because a lot of people really enjoy this Foundation.
Lightweight but Drying
The Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation does feel very lightweight, I’ll give it that. However, this is another one that picked up on some dryness right upon application. Clearly, that makes it a fail for me because I know a lot of you have dry skin, not even combination skin. So when a product does that to me, I feel like you’re going to want to know about it, and all three of these foundations did that to me.
Emphasizes Dryness and Shine
Initially, the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation emphasized and showed some dryness. It also gets shiny on me pretty quickly, and as the day goes on, it settles into my skin, pores, and texture, making them look not so good. The shine is always there for me, which is unfortunate. So this just was another Foundation fail that I had hoped to love.

There was a period of time where a lot of people were sharing how they removed peach fuzz on their face with the Finishing Touch device. It was easy, fast, and seemed like an electric way to do it. However, I personally found it to be a fail.
I shared in a video how I felt like the Finishing Touch device didn’t live up to the hype and that I was the only one who felt that way. It has been a while since I talked about it, and I decided to give it another try recently. Unfortunately, my feelings about the product were just validated once again.
When I use the Finishing Touch device, even though it’s designed to remove facial hair cleanly and efficiently, it takes me a lot longer to use compared to other methods. I have to sit there and use circular motions repeatedly, which becomes tedious. On the other hand, using alternative methods like razors or facial hair removal creams is much quicker and easier. Additionally, these alternative methods usually cost less too, making them a more attractive choice.
High-End Mascara
Another makeup regret that’s not worth your money is high-end mascara. While it’s tempting to invest in expensive mascaras promising dramatic lashes, there are affordable options that deliver equally impressive results.
