I Forgot About These...SHOP MY STASH! Are They Still Good?!

Rediscovering My Makeup Stash

Since I’ve stopped traveling and settled into an apartment, one of the most enjoyable activities for me has been rummaging through my stash of makeup and clothing, rediscovering old favorites. In today’s video, I delved into my makeup collection, pulling out items I haven’t used in a long time to see if they still hold up.

Thanks to Thread Up

I want to express my gratitude to Thread Up for sponsoring a portion of today’s video. I’ve been shopping on Thread Up for over 6 years now, and it has become my go-to online thrift and consignment shop. Thread Up not only offers great deals and sales but also makes it incredibly easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Discovering Hidden Gems

Thread Up’s sorting options by color, brand, style, and size have made the thrift shopping experience a breeze for me. With all my sizes saved on the app, I can quickly browse through items that fit me perfectly. I often search for brands that I already know and love, like Abercrombie & Fitch, and find amazing pieces like the dress I’m wearing today.

Exploring Forgotten Gems

If you’re new to thread up, you can get 35 off your first order, plus free shipping with the code tailor so I’ll have them linked down below. I wanted some cute dresses and just springy colorful items and thread up delivered.

Abber Cromi Dress

Let me tell you so, like I said, this dress is abber cromi and fit. The estimated original price was 56 and I got it for 15.74. I am in love with this one.

Abber Crumby Top

This is actually also abber crumby. The SME original price is 56 and I got it for 16.99. I could wear this as an actual dress, or I could just throw this on over a swimsuit.

Zara Top

This top I cannot wait to wear. I don’t have anything quite like this. I feel like I can wear this with a bunch of different stuff. The estimated retail price for Zara is 4 and I got it for 17.99.

Top Shop Skirt

This skirt is Top Shop. The estimated retail price is 68 and I got it for 9.59. Okay, this might be my favorite thing I found. This is so cute and flattering. I love the color and the springy feel of it.

Rediscovering Old Makeup

You know so thread up. Is linked down below and again, you can use the code tailor to get 35 off your first order, plus free shipping on thread up that plant is purple cant tell on camera.

Uncertainty with the Makeup

Okay Im excited to dig into some makeup. I havent used in a while. I already did my skin care this thing for a minute. I was using every single day like a couple years ago, its the milk makeup Sunshine, skin tint, SPF 30. I have on tan right now, thats like pretty dark, so Im not sure. If this shade is going to work, if it doesnt work, I I think Im going to use my good old, purito BB cream.

Trying Old Favorites

This is in the shade, 27 sand beige, and this is definitely dark enough, so I might have to mix in just a little bit of that, but this you just roll on oh yeah, Im going to have to mix it. This is probably time to toss honestly Im doing some mixing on my face here.

The Versatility of Purito BB Cream

If you havent heard of the purito BB cream, Ive raved about it on my channel for years, it just looks so pretty any way you apply it like. You can get a lot of coverage out of it, but you can also apply less use. Your fingers, it wears well, has like a really pretty finish, so its definitely adding some coverage to the milk skin tint right now.

Rediscovering Hidden Gems

I just realized. I forgot jewelry like see how it just covered that zit right up got the glow got the coverage. This is one of those products that just like feels good on my skin Im me go put some jewelry on okay now were in business.

Brow Experiment

So for brows. I want to try two things I havent done in a hot minute. I want to go back to clear brow gel with a brow pen, Im curious what I think of this now: Im hoping the shade isnt too dark, but Im going to start off with the brow wax to kind of like fluff my brows up. This is the Anastasia Brow freeze. I also just want to like decide. Do I want to keep this or do I want to declutter it? I do feel like these work the best for me if I coat both sides of my brows and then brush them up this one always looks better so Im going to let those dry before I go in with the brow pen.

Conceal and Correct

So, in the meantime, lets do concealer this, the Charlotte Tilbury number one fair. This is more like a color corrector kind of product, but sometimes these look really nice just as concealer. Oh. This feels this feels a little dried out kind of warm this up. Okay, its doing a good job of brightening, adding that, like Peach kind of undertone this eye versus this eye, can definitely see a difference.

Testing out Forgotten Products

Looking at my makeup stash, I came across some forgotten products that I haven’t used in a while. I decided to give them a try and see if they are still good to use. One of the products I found was a brow gel that I used to love. The formula still feels tacky, but I noticed that my brows tend to fall throughout the day. It seems like the gel may not be as strong as it used to be, or maybe my thick, coarse hair is too heavy for it.

Rediscovering a Unique Product

Another product I rediscovered was the makeup by Mario skin enhancer in the shade light medium. This product is versatile and can be used in different ways. I decided to try it out again and see how it performs on my skin. Surprisingly, the shade still works well for me, giving my skin a natural and soft look.

Revisiting Old Favorites

As I continue to shop my stash, I found some old favorites that I used to swear by. One of them is the Too Faced clear brow gel, which is one of the few products that can hold my brows in place all day. I decided to compare it to the other brow gel I was testing and immediately noticed the difference in hold. It’s clear that some products truly stand the test of time.

The Brow Pen Experiment

This tone right now is really doing it. For me, there is a lighter shade, though, than this if you’re Fair, okay let’s get the Brows going looking a little naked. So this is a brow pen. I used to use a brow pen all the time and I want to say for the last couple years, I’ve solely been using like brow pencils, but this is the profusion good brow day, waterproof brow pen, so I want to just like very lightly fill in the Brows hope it’s not too dark someone’s doing laundry above me so sounds like there’s a freaking waterfall. Hopefully you can’t hear that. The shade is definitely a little darker than what I’ve been doing lately. I’m used to a little lighter brows right now. Okay, so on the front of my brows, I actually really like how that looks like on the rest of my brows. I think I, like the brow pencil better, but I did get some nice lift in the front.

The Melt Cosmetics Cream Blush

The polished shade of the Melt, Cosmetics, Cream Blush. I have no idea what kind of look I’m going for here as far as eyes and like the rest of the makeup, this has a really pretty glow, like I don’t feel like. I need a blush top or anything with this one, just with whatever is left over on the brush. I like to get my nose a little bit oo that smells good yeah.

Powder Foundation Rediscovery

It smells like vanilla, never noticed that before. One thing I haven’t done in a while is use a powder foundation to set parts of my face. This is the L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear in the shade 130. This is definitely light for right now. I’m just going to be lightly setting the center of my face to get a little bit of the shine down. I mean I like this level of glow, but we’re just doing something different here.

Blush Touch-Up

The nice thing about using powder foundation for doing this is it adds some coverage. You just need to find a powder foundation formula that is light enough to do this. I just want a light application, not a thick powder. I want to slightly flatten it, but I still want the glow to come through, which is exactly what we’re getting here. I do feel like I want a little more blush, so I’m going to take the Give Beauty Lasting Love blush. I’m going to take the lighter Rosier tone on the bottom. Just apply a little bit more for a touch of color.

Eyeshadow Palette Revisit

For eyeshadow, I’m going to use a palette by an indie brand. This is the Sydney Grace Loves Journey palette. If you haven’t tried the Sydney Grace eyeshadows, the quality is amazing. Super pigmented, blends out well, they’re just beautiful like the shimmers and mattes. This palette is great because there are cool and warm tones in here, so I think I’m just going to do some warm browns. I’ll start off with the shade Everlasting Love.

Rediscovering Old Favorites

Today, I decided to dig into my makeup stash and rediscover some forgotten gems. As I rummaged through my collection, I came across a palette filled with matte browns that I had completely forgotten about. The shades looked as enticing as ever, and I couldn’t wait to see if they were still as good as I remembered.

Impressive Quality

As I began to apply the matte browns all over my lid, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the eyeshadows. Despite not using a primer, the colors blended out effortlessly and beautifully. It’s amazing to see indie brands still holding their own in the saturated market, proving that quality and passion can truly shine through.

Bringing Back Old Favorites

After applying the shadows to my lid, I decided to take the shade “Unforgettable” and blend it on my lower lash line. I reached for a liner that had been collecting dust in my collection – the Makeup Forever Aqua Resist Color Ink in the shade “Matte Wood”. Liquid liners are great for smudging and creating a long-lasting look, and this one did not disappoint.

Final Touches

Finishing off the look, I grabbed the BH Cosmetics Power Pencil in beige for my waterline. Despite the smoky brown look I was going for, the beige pencil added a subtle pop that tied everything together beautifully. It’s amazing what hidden treasures can be found in your stash, waiting to be rediscovered and loved all over again.

Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara

I want my waterline to be bright to kind of like open things back up. I can’t really remember what I think of this mascara, so I do want to give it another go. It’s the Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara. This has one of those bendy kind of brushes, which I don’t know. Sometimes they can be good, other times they can’t, because I feel like it almost gives you less control because, instead of just clinging to the brush and you being able to move it, the wand is also moving at the same time. It’s looking pretty good. I would like a little more separation. I think this is one that I would have to layer a second mascara just to get some separation going on.

Yeah like these, this side, they’re all just clumping together. I’m going to go in with this mascara to just break it up. There we go, I do feel like I have more curl than usual.

Mac Extended Play Lower Lash Mascara

I’m going to take my lower lash mascara Mac Extended Play. I want to just extend my eyes out a little bit, so I am going to take a liner and just do a little flick. Just to make it look like a lash, a very thin line, that’s it. I feel like just doing that little flick really elongates my eyes. Kind of want to bring my brows in a little bit more, okay for lips.

Lip Liner

I’m going to use a liner I haven’t used in a while.

Rediscovering Forgotten Beauty Products

As I rummaged through my makeup stash, I stumbled upon the Huda Beauty lip liner in the shade honey beige. I vaguely remembered purchasing it but had completely forgotten about its existence. Would it still be good to use?

Trying Out NYX Shine Loud Gold Crusher

Curious, I decided to pair the lip liner with the NYX Shine Loud Gold Crusher. The high pigment formula was intriguing, promising a glossy finish while staying put on the lips. As I applied the color and sealed it with the gloss, I couldn’t help but wonder if the product had expired or lost its effectiveness over time.

Reviving an Old Covergirl Favorite

With memories of a similar product from Covergirl that I used during my college days flooding back, I reached for the dual-ended sealant and matte color combo. The long-lasting formula had served me well in the past, but would it still deliver the same results after all these years?

Skipping the Lashes for a Natural Look

Although I contemplated adding some corner lashes for a more dramatic effect, I ultimately decided to skip them. The idea of dealing with rollers and falsies just didn’t spark my interest at that moment. Perhaps simplicity and minimalism were the way to go.

Rediscovering My Collection

This is the final makeup. Look I always like when you get to kind of like shop, your own collection, cuz, you just get re excited to use products you already have. One of the standouts for me is the Loves Journey palette, especially with the cool tones. If you’re a cool tone gal, that palette is beautiful.

Liner Love

Im going to keep this guy out, the liner, because again I just I love smoking liner, especially Brown lately and using a liquid, is just a good way to make it last longer.

Brow Dilemma

If I had a less cool toned and lighter shade of the brow pen, I feel like I would actually bring this back in my life because they look good. I just don’t like the color. I think the color is too gray for me now, especially with the more brown hair. So I think I just need to get a different shade of this, but but it actually looks like nice and lifted. I don’t think the brow gel did anything.

Makeup by Mario Magic

The makeup by Mario product. Like I said, this is just one that whenever I use it again, I’m like o looks natural. This also is one of those that, if you use a tinted SPF or even just an SPF, but then you want to warm up your face, this is a beautiful product for that because of the finish it just has a nice natural, satin kind of finish and it’s just very quick.

Rediscovering Forgotten Treasures

I forgot about these…SHOP MY STASH! Have you ever had that moment where you stumble upon a makeup item that you completely forgot you had? It’s like finding buried treasure in your own collection. Today, I decided to shop my stash and rediscover some long-forgotten gems.

Checking for Expiration

As I sifted through my makeup drawers, I couldn’t help but wonder, are they still good? Makeup products have an expiration date, and using expired products can lead to skin irritation and breakouts. I carefully examined each item, checking for any changes in color, texture, or scent.

Reviving Old Favorites

To my delight, most of the products were still in good condition. I decided to give them a second chance and incorporate them into my makeup look for the day. It felt like reuniting with old friends, rediscovering the magic they once brought to my beauty routine.
