Unboxing the Sacred Bottles
You guys welcome back. Today we are going to be trying Beyonc’s hair care brand – CCRED. The sacred bottles themselves are beautiful. They include a clarifying shampoo, a regular shampoo, a sealing lotion (not really sure what that is), deep conditioner, reconstru treatment, hair mask, hair oil, protein ritual, and an applicating nozzle. Let’s open these up and see… Oh look, that’s so cute, it comes with all these little packets. I do not understand what is going on, so confused on what half of this stuff is. ADD heat for best results. Okay, this is not for me because we will not be adding heat to my hair. Oh, that’s cute, I just don’t know what this is. I think this is for maybe that stuff, I don’t know. Okay, so these are for hair and scalp health. I’m just not going to use these today. I just don’t really understand them, so we’re just going to use the basics for right now.
First Impressions
Why would you make a hairline and not make an actual conditioner? So, I went in with their clarifying shampoo first. This kind of surprised me, like the consistency of it. It was more like a conditioner kind of feel to it and it was thicker, whereas clarifying shampoos, I feel like are more runny. So, I kind of did like that and had a cooling sensation to it. It felt really good on the scalp, really lathering, and it just made my scalp feel overall super clean.
CcRed Shampoo: A Pleasant Surprise
I went in with the CcRed shampoo and instantly fell in love with the scent. Not only that, but the shampoo lathered well and made my hair feel incredibly soft. It was as if my hair was effortlessly detangling itself, a quality that I highly value in a shampoo.
CcRed Deep Conditioner: Adding Shine
After the shampoo, I tried the CcRed deep conditioner. It felt really good on my hair and I could visibly see that my hair looked shinier after using it. I left the conditioner in for about 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it out. Although I wish they had a matching conditioner, I went on to use my regular conditioner and finished off the wash feeling satisfied with the products.
Sweet Scents and Lathering Goodness
The products from CcRed all had amazing scents that I couldn’t get enough of. The shampoo, in particular, lathered so well and left my scalp feeling refreshed. The overall experience with the wash products was a pleasant one, and I found myself enjoying the hair care routine.
Styling Products – A Missing Element
Unfortunately, CcRed lacks styling products in their range, which left me feeling a bit uncertain about how to style my hair after washing. The brand seems to be more geared towards straight hair, reflecting Beyonc’s signature style, but I personally prefer a bit more variety in terms of styling options.
First Impression
Cly, I feel like so I’m going on with my holy Grails, the L Brands, products, all-in-one styler and then their Irish sea gel it’s currently 9:30 just have to wait 2 hours for it to dry I’ll check. In with you guys in a little bit, it’s 10:30 we’re going to scrunch out this cast that I have my hair still has about like an hour of drying to do, if not a little bit more.
Midway Results
Everything looks good. This is typically the stage where I would see like issues going on with my hair, if anything’s weird or out of place, but I’m not seeing that at the moment, so hoping for the best and I’ll see you guys in another hour.
Final Result
Hey, you guys, I’m kind of obsessed, Like My Curls came out so good. I don’t have anything bad to say about these products. I think it made my hair super soft and shiny afterwards. I think it worked with my curl pattern very well. It didn’t irritate my scalp at all. You guys know I have a Sensitive Scalp and I really think that these products helped soothe and hydrate my scalp as well. No frizz, My Curls are still falling the way that I love them to fall and I would give the wash products a 10 out of 10 – add a leave-in conditioner for curly hair and a conditioner and we’re set. You guys are off the bar, but Beyonce.
