Although I currently don’t have a new one, I am considering picking it up again when it becomes available on October 10th.

While many people seem to enjoy this product, I found that it didn’t wear well on my skin and left me with blemishes. Consequently, I cannot recommend it as a must-have.
Fabulous Foundation
On the other hand, the Rare Beauty Foundation has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. This ultra-thin serum-like foundation is truly a game-changer. To achieve the best results, I always allow my sunscreen to fully absorb into my skin before applying this foundation. As you can see, the packaging is absolutely stunning. In fact, I love it so much that I have two shades – one for when I have a tan and one for when my skin is at its natural tone. Today, I’ll be using the shade 290n.
Before applying the foundation, it’s important to shake it well as it has a serum-like consistency that can separate. Fortunately, the foundation comes with a large doe-foot applicator, making it easy to apply. Once it touches your skin, it simply melts in, providing a flawless finish. With its lightweight formula, it feels incredibly natural and skin-like.

Although the tinted moisturizer didn’t work for me, the Rare Beauty foundation is a great alternative. It can almost be worn like a tinted moisturizer because it offers coverage but feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. You can apply it sparingly because it blends out so nicely. The foundation is said to have a natural finish, which suits my normal to dry skin. It adds a slight bit of radiance without slipping and sliding off.
Bronzer
Now let’s move on to the bronzer. This is one of the products I’m looking forward to picking up on October 10th. The shade “Full of Life” has caught my attention, and currently, I have “Power Boost” in my collection. The stick bronzers from Rare Beauty are incredible. I’m going to start with the concealer brush, which I absolutely love. Concealer brushes are great for maintaining coverage, and in this case, the concealer I’m using offers medium coverage. It’s also nice and hydrating, perfect for those who need a boost of moisture under the eyes. The shade I’m using is 210n. If you’re curious about the other shades I’ll be using, don’t worry, I’ll list them all below.
Setting Powder Dilemma
Now, let’s talk about setting everything in place. Rare Beauty has a powder that provides a radiant finish, but personally, I found it a little unflattering on my skin. Instead, I reach for The Hourglass powder. I actually gave the rare Beauty powder to my sister-in-law because it just wasn’t my personal favorite. However, I do know plenty of people who swear by it. I think it simply comes down to personal preference and how it reacts with your skin type. For me, this Hourglass powder is much more forgiving and doesn’t accentuate my textured skin or pores.
Blush before Setting?
You might be wondering why I’m setting before applying blush. Well, with these rare Beauty blushes, you have the flexibility to do so. I have so many of these blushes and they are absolutely fantastic. In fact, they are probably my top recommendation from the entire rare Beauty line. The pigmentation is outstanding, they are incredibly easy to use, and they last a long time. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
A Lip Product Surprise
Usually, I wear the Bliss shade from rare Beauty on my lips, and I was planning to do the same today. However, I thought it would be nice to showcase an actual lip product from the brand. So, instead, I’m going to use one of their matte blushes as a lip product. Let’s try the shade Happy and Hope.
The Perfect Blush: Happy and Hope
I think those are some of my most used and obviously Bliss, but I’m going to start off with Happy on the back portion of my cheek. Just show you what one dot will get you with happy cuz, she’s pigmented The Dewy finishes, are easier to manipulate than the matte ones, though just knowing you’re using a matte finish blush going in, I feel like helps. Cuz you got to work a little bit quicker.
The Dewy just kind of blend themselves, so there is one dot of happy just so you can see how pigmented it is. I usually go in with my foundation brush after just to tone it down. I know a lot of people love a super blushy. Look. I still like blush just not too much. I guess the one dot truly is enough. With this one, some of them, you can build a little bit more, but happy is one of those ones that just even a DOT can be a little Bunch for me at times such a gorgeous, pink, though, as I say that and I’m going to apply more Blush so I’m going to use Hope on the front portion of my cheeks, this one’s more.
My like everyday color, I use hope, probably the most I’d say then Bliss then Happy
Glowing with Rare Beauty Highlighters
Another top product of mine are the highlighters this formula honestly for me, since the Dior palette, the universal palette. This has been the best launch for formula, and since this I haven’t found anything that I like more than the rare Beauty, I initially got an Enlighten, which is the lightest shade, and then I have Exhilarate, which is the champagne color, which I use more often.

To complete my look, I like to add a little something to my lower lash line using the Rare Beauty mascara. It adds volume, length, and definition to my lashes, perfectly framing my eyes. The Rare Beauty Primer and Mist are like a Mac Fix, Plus sort of situation. The Mist is so beautiful and it gives a hydrated look to the skin. It really gives a fresh and radiant finish. One thing I love about Rare Beauty is that they offer Minis for their primer and mist. This means you can try the smaller size before committing to the larger one. It’s always a good idea to check the sizing of the products compared to the cost, as sometimes the mini sizes can be cheaper and give you more product. At one point, the primer mini was cheaper than the full size, and I’m not sure if that’s still the case, but it’s something worth considering. I personally really like the Rare Beauty Primer and Mist and I’m considering picking up the full size on October 10th.
Finishing Touches with Mascara and Lips
Once the skin is prepped and perfected, it’s time to finish off the eyes with mascara and then move on to the lips. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the Rare Beauty eyeshadows, whether it’s the palette, the liquid eyeshadows, or the pencil eyeliners. These are products that I’m really curious to try and pick up. Discovering Rare Beauty:
I haven’t tried everything from the brand, but I have had the opportunity to experiment with a few of their lip products.
One particular item that I absolutely adored and unfortunately ran out of was the With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm.
This lip balm had a beautiful color that reminded me of one of my favorite MAC lipsticks called Mac Jazzed.
The similarity in color is what drew me to this product, and I was not disappointed.
The rich formula and lasting coverage made it a must-have in my collection.
On the other hand, I also tried their Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils, which seemed to be a crowd favorite.
However, I found myself in the minority as I didn’t have the same positive experience.
The lip oil ended up staining my lips and causing them to dry out, which was not ideal.
Despite this setback, I am still curious to explore more lip products from the brand.

Attempting the Perfect Red:
For now, I have decided to try out one of their liquid lipsticks. The shade I chose is called Inspire, and I was immediately
Captivated by it after seeing Selena Gomez wear it.
The color is a stunning red that, in my opinion, is perfect in every way. I don’t have a lip liner from Rare Beauty,
But let’s see if I can make it work without one.
The lipstick comes with a nice applicator, making it easy to apply.
The color is so vibrant and intense that I quickly realize I don’t even need a lip liner to make it stand out.
The matte lip cream glides smoothly onto my lips, leaving behind a flawless finish.
Red Lip Line
I think that’s like the cleanest red lip line I’ve ever done. My upper lip will be another story, gorgeous color. I forgot how much I loved this color. I just don’t reach for it often because liquid lips, most of them like this, even though it’s a cream and has a really comfortable finish at first. I find over time they still dry out my lips. It’s just the problem that I personally have. I can’t do these sorts of formulas that often, so that’s why I don’t reach for it often. But I’d love to check out more of the lip products from Rare Beauty.
Lip Liner and Lipstick
So definitely a lip liner lipstick, a new bronzer. I have a few things on my list, but I’m just going to go ahead and go off-camera, get dressed, come back, and we’re going to finish off this video. I had to put on this red jumpsuit just to correspond because I’m feeling the red right now. I’m putting this aside for the holidays. I forgot I just can’t wear it too many days in a row, so limited use. But it does look so smooth when I first apply it. It does transfer, but I love how it feels like my lips rubbing together. It’s such a weird soft consistency, but I do really enjoy it. It’s the color for me that I’m really loving.

So I do have a couple of products that I didn’t use in this video, the liquid luminizers.
