The Trend of Rediscovering Forgotten Makeup

In the world of makeup, trends come and go, and it’s easy for certain products to be left behind and forgotten. Recently, there has been a popular trend on TikTok where creators are digging through their makeup collection to find those forgotten gems. And today, I’ll be joining in on the trend by doing a full face of makeup using products that I, too, have forgotten about.

Remembering the Good Times

Before we dive into the products, I want to make it clear that forgetting about these makeup items doesn’t mean they are bad. In fact, many of the products I have chosen today were once favorites of mine. The fast-paced nature of the makeup community, with its constant product launches, caused these gems to get lost in the shuffle.

Exploring the Depths of My Collection

As a beauty creator, it’s my duty to test and try out new products that hit the market. This means I often find myself overwhelmed with the sheer number of options available. But today, I’ll be taking a step back and revisiting some oldies but goodies.

Reconnecting with Old Loves

As I rummage through my makeup collection, memories of when I first bought these products come flooding back. The excitement of unboxing a new eyeshadow palette, the thrill of swatching a beautiful lipstick color. It’s like a reunion with old friends that I haven’t seen in a while.

Rediscovering Hidden Treasures

Among the forgotten makeup items, I find hidden treasures that deserve a second chance. A highlighter with the perfect sheen, a blush that gives my cheeks a natural flush, a mascara that lengthens and volumizes beyond belief. It’s amazing how these products still hold up, even after being untouched for so long.

A Lesson in Appreciation

The process of rediscovery has taught me the importance of appreciating the things we already have. With the constant influx of new products, it’s easy to get caught up in the hunt for the latest and greatest. But taking the time to revisit and appreciate what we already own brings a sense of gratitude and nostalgia.

Embracing the Forgotten

So, next time you find yourself getting lost in the cycle of makeup releases, take a moment to revisit your collection. You never know what forgotten treasures you may find hidden among the chaos. Let’s embrace the forgotten and give these products the love they deserve.

Toucha Silk Canvas: A Nostalgic Primer

When I opened up my skincare drawer today and saw this product, my heart almost leaped out of my chest. It was the Toucha Silk Canvas primer! Oh my God, who remembers this primer? Every single beauty guru was using this, including me in 2017, 18, and 19. This primer was truly revolutionary back then. It was the first of its kind, a pressed primer, and I feel like primers weren’t even that big on the market.

Rediscovering the Magic of Foundation

Next up, I found a foundation that brought back some sweet memories. It was a brand I still love and a product that I had completely forgotten about. As I applied it onto my skin, I reminisced about the flawless finish it used to give me. My face transformed into a canvas of perfection, just like it used to. It’s funny how you can forget something so essential in your makeup routine.

The Iconic Eyeshadow Palette That Stood the Test of Time

Moving on to eye makeup, I stumbled upon an eyeshadow palette that transported me back to the golden days of makeup. It was a brand that everyone adored, but sadly, it no longer exists. Opening the palette, I marveled at the vibrant colors and the exquisite pigmentation. The memories of creating stunning eye looks with this palette flooded back, and I couldn’t help but wonder why I ever stopped using it.

Lips That Speak of the Past

Sometimes, we forget about certain lipstick shades that used to be our go-to. Today, I rediscovered a beautiful nude lipstick that was a staple in my collection. It was from a brand that, unfortunately, is now dunzo in my book. As I swiped it across my lips, I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me. This shade was a classic, and I couldn’t understand why I had neglected it for so long.

Blushing with Memories

Finally, I dug out a blush that I used to wear religiously. It was from a brand that had once dominated the market, but now it seems to have faded away. As I applied the blush to my cheeks, I was immediately reminded of the natural flush it gave me. It was the perfect shade, and I couldn’t believe I had let it slip from my makeup routine.

Embracing the Forgotten Gems

As I reached the end of my forgotten makeup journey, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions. It was both exciting and disheartening to rediscover these products. Exciting because they had once been my favorites and disheartening because I had simply forgotten about them amidst the constant influx of new beauty releases.

It made me reflect on how quickly we move on from something we once loved, always searching for the next best thing. But maybe it’s time to appreciate the gems we already own, to give them another chance to shine. Because who knows, we might just fall in love with them all over again.

Discovering the Forgotten Makeup

Yet, of course, there was the classics like the Smashbox photo finish primer. That would have been a good one for today, as well or like. Oh, my god. Oh benefit professional, wo, unlocking memories right now, but those were all like liquid primers, whereas this one being in like a weird little putty consistency.

An Impactful Primer

Everyone was obsessed with, and this is one of the first ones that for me, in my opinion, actually made an impact in terms of being pore-filling, whereas a lot of the other ones had empty promises. If I recall correctly, though, I think that I stopped using this because it made Foundation slip off my nose in particular, so were going to see, were going to see for foundation.

A Plethora of Foundation Options

Today there were a lot of options to choose from. I don’t know what what is going on within the last couple of years, but there have been so many Foundation product launches. I could literally think, like literally we just had Kylie the Laura Mercier Foundation went viral makeup by Mario launched last year house Labs launched last year, Ram Beauty launched last year. I think even Charlotte launched a new one last year. My point is right with all these different product launches its hard to even keep track of them when a new one replaces it literally next week.

The Forgotten Dior Air Flash

But the foundation that I’m going to use today is truly one that I have forgotten about, and that is Dior air. Flash, oh, my god, do you guys remember this Foundation.

Spray Paint Foundation: A Cool Concept

This makeup item is something that has always fascinated me. It’s like spray paint for your face, and I think that is such a unique and cool concept. However, it seems that this product has been discontinued, and I’m not entirely sure why. One possible reason could be that people had issues with shipping it due to it being an aerosol. It’s a shame because it’s such an innovative idea.

A DIY Experiment

I’ve had this spray paint foundation in my collection for about five years now, and I thought it would be interesting to see if I could find a way to continue using it. I had the idea of trying to transfer the aerosol to another container so that it’s still usable. It’s a simple DIY project that I wanted to explore.

Unexpected Results

To my surprise, the DIY experiment worked! By transferring the spray paint foundation to another container, I was able to continue using it. It’s amazing how a small idea can make a big difference. I never would have thought of this DIY solution if it weren’t for the aerosol packaging issue. Sometimes, necessity truly is the mother of invention.

A Rethink on Makeup Tools

In order to blend in the spray paint foundation, I decided to use my old Morphe blending sponge. Back in the day, when Morphe was at its peak, everyone was obsessed with these sponges. I personally loved them too, but eventually, I moved on to using Beauty blenders. And now, with my own brand, Painted, we have our oversized painted sponges, which I absolutely adore. They are double the size and half the price, making them unbeatable.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Concealer

Moving on to concealer, I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Concealer. This is a product I had forgotten about, but I’m excited to give it a try. It’s always interesting to revisit old favorites and see how they hold up over time.

The article continues with similar sections discussing different makeup items that the author had forgotten about or discontinued before reaching its natural .

The Forgotten Foundation

Now I unfortunately think this had the same fate as the whole Foundation situation, because I remember when I tried this out, I really really liked it. The formula was super good.

A Concealer Rediscovered

This is not my color, I remember when I first tried this out, I really loved it. I think there were just so many complexion launches last year that it became hard to focus on one of them when a new one was launching literally the week after this.

I actually thought about this last week because one of my favorite Tik tokers used it in her makeup routine and I was like I forgot: Anastasia even had a concealer. I should go, try that out and then I didnt so Im honestly glad we filming this today, because maybe Ive been missing out this whole time.

Adding Color with a Bronzer

We definitely need to add some color back to my face. I looking really spooky and pale right now so were going to do that using a bronzer. When I pulled this out of my collection today, I actually was like shocked because this used to be a crowd favorite, everyone used to love the Chanel bronzer. Everybody used to use this in like every single video.

I remember I bought this as a recommendation from Jaclyn Hill like 4 years ago, and I really really liked it lets see if it still yeah still looks amazing. I just actually dont really know why I put this down, probably because its like a billion dollars – and I hate recommending things to you guys that literally nobody could afford, because why would you so?

Butter-like Melting Formula

I remember everybody loved this because it literally melts into your skin like butter and even years later.

So, here I am, trying out the full face of makeup I forgot existed, hoping that rediscovering these forgotten gems will bring back that same excitement and joy that I once felt when I first tried them. As a beauty enthusiast, it’s easy to get caught up in the constant stream of new products and forget about the ones that were once beloved.

But maybe it’s time to take a step back and appreciate the products that have stood the test of time. Maybe they still have that magic that made them so special in the first place, and maybe they will bring back a sense of nostalgia and familiarity that we all long for in this rapidly changing beauty landscape.

So, let’s dive into the world of forgotten makeup and see what hidden treasures await.

Rediscovering Chanel Makeup

It’s funny how we can sometimes forget about certain beauty products in our collection. Today, I stumbled upon a Chanel makeup product that I had completely forgotten about. I must admit, this little gem is still working gorgeously, blending beautifully on my skin.

The color is absolutely great, and it makes me wonder why I stopped using it in the first place. Chanel makeup used to be a tried and true favorite among beauty enthusiasts, but it seems to have faded into the background lately.

But oh my God, this product is going right back into my everyday makeup bag. It looks absolutely stunning on my skin, and I can’t wait to incorporate it into my routine once again.

A Joyful Moment with Kylie Lip and Cheek Glow Balm

As I continued rummaging through my makeup collection, I discovered another forgotten treasure. It was the Kylie lip and cheek glow balm, and I couldn’t help but jump for joy. This product holds a special place in my heart.

As you can see, my Kylie lip and cheek glow balm has seen better days. The packaging is completely rubbed off, but that’s only because I’ve used it extensively. I absolutely love this product, and it’s a shame I forgot about it.

This glow balm was a staple in my summer makeup routine. I do recall that it didn’t always apply the best over foundation, but when applied on natural skin, it was pure magic. I would usually pair it with a bit of cream bronzer, blush, some brows, and freckles.

My skin always looked so beautiful with this combination, and I can’t believe it’s been such a long time since I’ve used it. Let’s see how it looks on my skin now…

Reapplying Cream Blush for a Radiant Glow

One of my favorite hacks lately has been to reapply cream blush at the very end of my makeup routine. It gives a radiant glow that I absolutely adore. This forgotten Kylie lip and cheek glow balm will definitely be a great product for achieving that look.

The color is so pretty and pink, and it adds the perfect touch of radiance to my cheeks. I’m amazed at how good it looks on my skin. It’s moments like these that remind me of the joy of rediscovering forgotten makeup treasures.

So, if you ever find yourself going through your makeup collection and stumbling upon products you forgot existed, don’t hesitate to give them another chance. You might just be pleasantly surprised by how beautiful they still are and how they can enhance your everyday makeup routine.

Rediscovering a long-lost favorite

For today’s base routine, I am filled with excitement as I delve into the forgotten realms of my makeup collection. This powder, oh, how I used to adore it. If you were to scroll through the archives of my YouTube channel, you would see it featured in every single makeup look. But somewhere along the way, it slipped my mind entirely, until just a few days ago. It all came rushing back when Huda Beauty released her peach version of the viral setting powder. As I watched a review where someone mixed pink and banana powders to create a peach shade – I thought to myself, “Wait a minute, the Miss Too Faced peach powder does exist!”

A true nostalgic gem

Oh, how could I have forgotten about this beauty? Not only is it visually stunning, but it also has an incredible scent. And yes, you heard it right – it’s even edible. I used to be enamored with this powder and everything about it. It’s simply a top-notch product, so let’s not waste any more time and use it right away. I can hardly contain my excitement!

Taking a trip down memory lane

I understand that not everyone is a fan of fragranced makeup products, but in this case, I must apologize. This powder, with its delightful peach scent, is an exception. I grab my trusty little powder puff, dip it into the peachy orange goodness, and start by applying it under my eyes. Can I just take a moment to appreciate how heavenly it smells? It’s like indulging in a peach candy, bringing back memories of the days when this powder was my holy grail.

Not only does it provide a pleasant fragrance, but its color is also perfect for brightening up my under-eye area. The super pale, pinky orange hue works wonders at counteracting any dark circles or discoloration.

A reminder of the past

As I continue to apply the powder to other areas of my face, I can’t help but reminisce about the days when this product was at the forefront of my makeup routine. It’s fascinating how we sometimes overlook old favorites in favor of new releases and trends. But today, I’ve been reminded of its brilliance and why I fell in love with it in the first place.

Rediscovering Too Faced Makeup

Too Faced, a brand that once dominated the makeup game, seems to have dropped off the radar lately. The buzz around their new launches has quieted down. But today, I have the opportunity to rediscover their products and see if they still hold up.

The Initial Impression

As I start my full face of makeup, I can’t help but feel excited. The product looks promising right from the start. The results are already looking so beautiful, and I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Going Back to Powder Contour

For contouring, I reach for the tried and true Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour palette. This formula is undoubtedly one of the best in the market. However, I’ve shifted away from powder contouring, like many others. Cream contour products, such as the Fenty snack by Makeup by Mario and the Charlotte T sculpt ones, have taken the spotlight in 2022 and 2023. Amidst the craze, I completely forgot about this powder contour palette.

But as I begin using it again, I can’t help but admire the results. It blends effortlessly and adds definition to my face. The powder contour technique may not be in vogue anymore, but it still works wonders.

The Excitement of Brightening Powders

Oh, how I forgot that this contour palette also contains brightening powders. I’m particularly drawn to one shade, and I can’t wait to try it out. Brightening powders can add a touch of radiance to the skin, creating the illusion of a well-rested and glowing complexion.

I apply the brightening powder, and instantly, my face appears refreshed and alive. It brightens my under-eye area, making me look more awake. These powders may not be the current trend, but they still have a place in creating a stunning makeup look.

Continuing with my full face routine, I move on to the next steps, appreciating the nostalgia and surprise that comes with rediscovering forgotten makeup products. Fast forward, I complete my makeup look.

The full face of makeup I forgot existed has brought back memories of why these products were once so beloved. They may not be the current talk of the town, but they still have the power to create stunning looks. As I conclude this makeup routine, I can’t help but wonder what other hidden treasures I’ve overlooked. Time to dive deeper into my makeup collection and embrace the thrill of rediscovery!

Rediscovering KKW Beauty Brightening Powder

Today, as I rummaged through my makeup collection, I stumbled upon a hidden gem. An ancient artifact that holds the power to revive forgotten memories and make me feel the nostalgia of the past. It is none other than the KKW Beauty Brightening Powder in shade number one. Oh, my goodness! This discovery has left me absolutely speechless!

Oh, the Memories!

I vividly remember the time when these powders were all the rage. We were obsessed, completely enthralled by their flawless finish and incredible brightening effect. They were like little pots of magic that transformed our faces into radiant canvases. But why did we forget about them?

The Mysterious Disappearance

The reason behind our collective amnesia is quite simple, really. KW Beauty, the brand responsible for these wondrous powders, disappeared from the market, leaving us all yearning for their return. It’s strange how fate works. Just as I unearthed this precious product for today’s video, news broke that Kim Kardashian is relaunching the brand with new lip liners and lipsticks. The excitement is palpable, and I can only hope that the brightening powders will also make a comeback someday.

A Perfect Companion

Now, let’s talk about the struggle we face with our concealer. While its formula sits beautifully on the skin, providing a flawless canvas, the shade doesn’t quite match up. It’s disappointingly darker than expected. But fear not, for the revitalized KKW Beauty could be our savior. With their impeccable shades and formulas, they are bound to offer a solution to our concealer woes.

Reviving Old Favorites

Moving on to eyebrows, let’s ditch the trendy options and reach for an oldie but a goodie. The Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil has stood the test of time and remains a staple for many. In the past, Benefit was the talk of the town, the go-to brand for eyebrow perfection. Although they may not be in the spotlight as much these days, their quality and reliability remain unmatched.

A Silent Resurgence

It’s intriguing how certain brands seem to fade into the background, losing the buzz they once had. Benefit, for instance, hasn’t fallen off the radar entirely. Occasionally, a viral trend or a new product manages to reignite the interest. Yet, it’s clear that people are no longer talking about Benefit the way they used to.

The world of makeup is ever-changing and full of surprises. As we delve into our collections and rediscover forgotten treasures, we are reminded of the beauty products that shaped our past. The resurrection of KKW Beauty and the enduring popularity of Benefit serve as a testament to the cyclical nature of the industry. Who knows what other hidden gems we’ll stumble upon in the future? The possibilities are endless, and our journey of exploration continues.

A Surprising Discovery

As I rummage through my makeup collection, I come across a long-forgotten shade of foundation. It’s the second darkest brown, and I’m uncertain if it will suit my complexion. Despite my doubts, I decide to give it a try, hoping that I can make it work. With a light hand, I carefully blend the foundation, attempting to minimize any imperfections. To my dismay, the color looks absolutely ridiculous on my face. It’s far too dark, but strangely, it doesn’t bother me too much. I’ve definitely worn worse shades in the past. However, this unexpected discovery reminds me of how good this foundation actually is. I make a mental note to order it in my actual shade.

An Unexpected Look

Moving on from the foundation, I realize that my brows are already done. In fact, they look so on point that I feel like I’ve stepped back in time to 2016 when strong, defined brows were all the rage. Although unintentional, everything seems to be coming together surprisingly well. Despite the outdated vibe, I can’t help but secretly love this throwback look. It’s funny how sometimes the things we forget about can still hold their allure.

Exploring New Palettes

As I reach for my eyeshadow palettes, I’m overwhelmed by the sheer number of options. The beauty industry seems to launch new palettes every single day, whether it’s a collaboration with an influencer or a brand entering a new licensing deal. It’s become rare for a palette to truly capture people’s attention and create a buzz. Yet, here I am, filled with gratitude and disbelief that the Basic Canvas palette, which we launched back in November, is still a talking point. In a world of constant releases, the longevity of our palette is something to celebrate.

Embracing Glam

Today, I decide to experiment with not one, not two, but four palettes. I could have chosen any palette from my collection, but I’m drawn to the glamorous possibilities that lie within these four. The colors and textures ignite a sense of excitement within me. As I apply the eyeshadow, I begin to see the power of makeup in transforming my look. With each brush stroke, I unleash a new facet of my own creativity.

Discovering the Forgotten

As I complete my full face of makeup, I’m filled with a sense of perplexity and wonder. How could I have allowed myself to forget about these products for so long? Each one has its own unique qualities and charms that I unwittingly disregarded. In a world of constant new releases and trends, it’s easy to become consumed by the pursuit of the next big thing. However, this experience serves as a reminder to cherish what we already have and explore the forgotten treasures in our own makeup collections.

And with that, my journey of rediscovery comes to an end. I may have started with doubts and uncertainties, but along the way, I found unexpected beauty in the things I had forgotten. It’s a testament to the power of makeup and its ability to surprise and delight us, even when we least expect it. So, let’s remember to embrace the forgotten and allow ourselves to be captivated by the magic of what we already have.

The B perfect Cosmetics Carnival Palette

Thank you so much for all the love and support. The painted. palette is still available for sale, but because of that, and the time that has passed, I have completely forgotten about other palettes, especially ones with vibrant colors. Today, I want to revisit the B perfect Cosmetics Carnival palette.

The Carnival palette used to be my go-to. I would create all sorts of colorful rainbow looks with it. However, I haven’t picked it up in a while. I feel like my makeup style has evolved and changed, and I haven’t really heard much about B perfect Cosmetics either. But let’s dive back into this palette and see what we can create.

Creating a Fun Glam Look

I’m going to match my little top, as usual, and create a fun, glamorous look. I’ll start off by applying a bit of purple eyeshadow to my outer corner. Oh my god, I forgot how pigmented these shadows are! They are absolutely beautiful. I’ll then blend it out with a touch of pink.

While I’m blending, I actually have a question for you guys. I’m assuming most of you know this, but just in case you don’t, when you’re working on developing products for a makeup brand, it often takes years before it’s ready to hit the market. A few days ago, my team texted me and asked about the success of the Basic Canvas. It got me a bit worried. Are they already working on a new palette?

The Importance of Feedback

As a makeup enthusiast, I always appreciate your feedback. It helps me understand what you guys want and what I should focus on. If B perfect Cosmetics is indeed working on a new palette, I hope they incorporate all of the things we loved about their previous ones.

It’s important to give constructive criticism and let brands know what they excel at and where they can improve. After all, we are the ones who will be using their products, so our opinion matters.

Revisiting Forgotten Gems

Revisiting the Carnival palette has reminded me of the joy of using vibrant colors and experimenting with different looks. It’s easy to get caught up in trends and forget about the classics.

So, let’s take a moment to appreciate the palettes that have been with us through thick and thin. Whether it’s the Carnival palette or any other forgotten gem in your makeup collection, take some time to reignite the love and creativity you once had with those products.

Who knows, you might even discover new techniques and looks that you never thought of before. Makeup is all about personal expression, so let’s embrace the forgotten gems and create something extraordinary!

The Next Painted Palette

We should start planning the next painted palette. I was like what do you mean? We huh that just long like what that was 5 minutes ago and they’re like yeah, of course, but was going to take a while out for the packaging and the formula and the development and the shades, the marketing campaign.

Choosing the Color Story

And everything – and I was like. Oh, my God, I should start working on the next painted palette. So that brings me to my question: what do you guys want to see? The basic canvas is obviously all neutrals and I would most likely want to do another 24 color palette. So I feel like the obvious color story. Choice is Rainbow, but then again I’ve done that before with my morphe palette, but at the same time that’s done its no longer for sale, and I get hundreds of DMS on a weekly basis of people asking me to bring it back or do a rainbow palette.

A New Approach

With painted so I might have to, I definitely would do it very differently than I did back then, but also, I feel like at the same time, people are just not doing a colorful. Eyeshadow looks like they once were, so maybe you guys might have an idea of what type of palette you would want to see. Leave it in the comments down below. I would love to read your guys.

Imagining the Final Look

Opinions now I’m just going to go in and I’m going to cut my crease using a blueprint, create paint. I totally forgot about this technique, but it used to be a go-to for me. The strong contrast between the deep blue and the natural skin tone always creates a stunning effect. It’s like giving a burst of color to a blank canvas.

Rediscovering Forgotten Makeup

Now that I’m playing with all these different techniques and styles, it’s almost like rediscovering forgotten makeup. There are so many possibilities and combinations that I forgot even existed. It’s like diving into a hidden treasure chest, filled with forgotten gems and unique creations. I can’t believe I’ve let them gather dust in the back of my vanity for so long.

Reviving the Old Favorites

But now, it’s time to bring back the classics. I’m going to use an old favorite of mine, a vibrant pink blush. It instantly adds a pop of color to my cheeks, giving me a youthful and fresh appearance. It’s like a blast from the past, reminding me of the good old days when bold blushes were all the rage.

The Final Touch

To complete the look, I’m going to reach for a deep plum lipstick. This shade is mysterious and seductive, adding a touch of glamour to my overall makeup. It’s amazing how a simple swipe of color can transform my entire face. It brings back memories of nights out, feeling confident and empowered with every step.

And there you have it! A full face of makeup I forgot existed. It’s like going down memory lane, revisiting old favorites and discovering new techniques along the way. Makeup truly is an art form, and with endless possibilities, it’s always exciting to try something new or revisit the classics.

Rediscovering Old Makeup Favorites

I never thought I would say this, but I have completely forgotten about some of the makeup products that used to be my go-to favorites. It’s like they have vanished from my memory, only to resurface now. I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and confusion as I delve back into these forgotten treasures.

The Copy and Paste Dream

If only makeup came with a copy and paste feature, I would be over the moon. Sometimes, I spend so much time and effort trying to recreate a certain look, only to realize that it was much easier to do back in the day. The convenience of being able to duplicate a flawless eye look with a single click sounds like a dream come true.

Experimenting with Eye Makeup

I decided to start my journey by focusing on eye makeup. I carefully applied stunning shades that perfectly matched my shirt. It’s funny how something as simple as coordinating my makeup with my outfit can bring me so much joy. The end result left me mesmerized with its beauty and reminded me of the makeup style that was popular in 2016.

The Return of Lily Lashes

I have to admit, I completely forgot about Lily lashes. These beauties were a staple in almost every beauty guru’s makeup look. I used to wear them religiously, but somehow they slipped out of my radar over the years. Today, I decided to bring them back into my routine and try out the Milan style.

Pricey Beauty Nostalgia

As I admired my lashes in the mirror, I couldn’t help but reflect on how expensive they are. Back in the day, receiving them on the PR list was a blessing that allowed me to enjoy their beauty without breaking the bank. However, at $30 a pair, I can understand why they faded from my collection. Thankfully, there are more affordable options available from brands such as Amazon or Timu and Sheen.

As I conclude my makeup adventure, I can’t help but wonder what other gems I have forgotten throughout the years. It’s like opening a time capsule and revisiting the trends and products that once brought me so much happiness. Maybe it’s time to dig a little deeper and uncover more forgotten treasures. Who knows what makeup wonders await me?

Lily Lashes: A Beloved Choice

For a couple of cents, so I will always have so much love for Lily lashes, but Ive moved on.

Highlighter: A Forgotten Step

We are finally done with the eyes lets move on to the next step, which is going to be highlighter were going to use a forgotten product to do this forgotten step that I often skip in my routine. Now, who remembers the Anastasia, Beverly Hills, glow kit holy? These were like the It Girl of 2016.

They were these crazy, colorful rainbow highlighters you cant like. If I show you this, you cant even see it. I will always remember. This was the first time any brand released highlighters that werent the typical, like champagney gold type of color and were dying over this, including myself, were going to dip into eclipse today its like this beautiful light, orangey pink color, oh God, these are, I forgot how powdery These were ooh, highlighter formulas have definitely gotten better over the last several years, but at the time these were it.

Moving on to Lips

Now it is time for lips, and in case you havent noticed or you didnt see my Tik Tok or my Instagram Stories. The last couple of weeks I did get all of my lip filler dissolved, which is why they look a little bit scary and also a little bit bruised as well. Basically, Ive had the same filler for the last seven years. I started to get a little bit of migration, so I wanted to get it all dissolved and start fresh.

The Forgotten Liner: Mac Lip Liners

It’s been really weird because I haven’t recognized myself when looking in the mirror the past couple of weeks, but unexpectedly I’ve gotten so many DMS from you guys saying that this size looks really good and I shouldn’t get any more filler. I don’t know who to believe, but for right now, I would love to line them just a little bit so I’m going to use a forgotten liner, which to me is Mac lip liners. These were like the OG liners back in the day, and the formula was amazing. I just feel like I got so many other ones from different brands and forgot about these.

Oh my God, overlining them that much looks so stupid. I look like a little kid that got into his mom’s purse and like scribbled on my face.

The OG Nude: Ofra Liquid Lipstick in the shade Sao Paulo

Oh no, now we’re just going to fill it in using the Ofra liquid lipstick in the shade Sao Paulo. If you guys have been around for a while, this used to be my go-to nude. I wore this in almost every single makeup look. The formula is incredible. I just feel like I moved on from this and forgot about it once liquid lipsticks stopped being trendy. They were such an innovation for the time, but trends always come and go, and we’re kind of back to like regular satin lipsticks at this point.

Setting the Face: Morphe Continuous Setting Mist

Last but not least, we’re going to set our face in place using drum roll please, the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist. This setting mist has been a staple in so many makeup routines. It helps to lock everything in and give a nice finish to the face. The mist is fine and refreshing, and it never feels heavy on the skin.

Rediscovering Old Favorites

Over the years, our tastes and preferences change. We often find ourselves forgetting about products that were once beloved and essential parts of our makeup routine. One such product for me was a setting spray. It used to be my absolute favorite, but as time went on, its fragrance started to give me a headache. To add insult to injury, the brand even filed for bankruptcy, leaving me owed millions of dollars. It’s no wonder that this setting spray became a forgotten relic in my collection.
