Fenty Pro Filt’r Concealer vs. Fenty We’re Even Concealer

Fenty Pro Filt’r Concealer vs. Fenty We’re Even Concealer

Shade Comparison

At the time of their launch, Fenty Beauty had an impressive 40 shades available. But with their shade extensions over the years, can you guess how many shades they offer now? It’s fascinating to note that Fenty Beauty’s 50-shade range is not just limited to their foundations. They have also matched their concealer shades to their foundation shades, which is quite remarkable.

Fenty Pro Filtr Concealer

In 2019, Fenty Beauty introduced their first Pro Filtr concealer, which was named after their foundation line. Fast forward to 2024, and they have launched new concealers called Fenty Were Even. The Pro Filtr concealer boasts 50 shades, offering a soft matte finish with long-wear full coverage. It claims to be suitable for all skin types normal, oily, combination, and dry. The formula is said to be sweat-resistant, creamy, and crease-proof. The question remains is it truly crease-proof with or without setting powder?

Fenty Were Even Concealer

On the other hand, the Fenty Were Even Concealer promises 12-hour wear with extreme longevity. It offers medium coverage with a liquid formula that is sweat and humidity resistant. The brand claims that this concealer will not fade throughout the day, nor will it emphasize pores or fine lines. Additionally, it is said to be crease-resistant, adding to its appeal.

Wear Test

Both concealers have their own strengths and features that cater to different needs and preferences. The wear test will determine how each product holds up under various conditions, such as humidity, sweat, and long wear. It will also explore whether setting powder affects their crease-proof claims. By comparing the wear and performance of these concealers, consumers can make an informed decision based on their individual requirements and preferences.

Concealer Packaging and Applicator

The new Fenty We’re Even Concealer boasts a hexagonal shape in its packaging, distinct from the flat sides of the Pro Filt’r Concealer. While the Pro Filt’r stands upright with ease, the We’re Even might need a bit of balancing. In terms of size, the Pro Filt’r contains 8 ML of product, while the We’re Even offers 9 ML. The applicator on the Pro Filt’r is straight, whereas the We’re Even features a slightly bent, more flexible Dofoot applicator that enhances ease of application.

Shade Comparison: Swatching 495 and 490

Swatching both the Pro Filt’r and We’re Even concealers in the shade 495 revealed almost identical shades. However, the Pro Filt’r appeared slightly thicker in consistency compared to the We’re Even. Swatching in the shade 490 showcased a subtle difference in tones, with the Pro Filt’r seeming lighter and less red-toned than the We’re Even. This slight variation in shades could be attributed to the different formulas of the two concealers.

Swatching Shade 485: A Deviation in Swatches

For the ultra-bright shade 485, typically used for highlighting, there was a noticeable difference in swatches between the Pro Filt’r and We’re Even concealers. The shade 480 in the Pro Filt’r line displayed a slightly different hue compared to the We’re Even shade 485. This discrepancy in shades could impact the overall look and coverage when using these concealers for highlighting purposes.

Fenty Pro Filtr Concealer vs. Fenty Were Even Concealer

The bottom is 485, these are the swatches side by side. Let me know what you think. We’re going in with 490 concealers in both the Pro filter and Were Even. Pro filter is going to be on the left side, where Even is going to be on the right side.

Initial Application

I’m just going to draw a line on the under eye like so. I actually don’t have any of the foundation blended on my under eye, because I do not. I do not want my concealer result to be influenced by the foundation.

Blend Test

Every time I use the Pro filter concealer, I always end up overdoing it because it is a full coverage concealer. I don’t know why I put so much on my face, but it’s already on so I’m going to leave it alone and see what we see now. Initially, when I tried the Were Even, I went ahead and dried it down a little bit before I blended it in so I want to do the same for this side, to give it a little bit of a chance to adhere to the skin and not just disappear when I blend it in.

Blending Technique

I’m also going to try to dry this down a little bit just a little bit: okay, okay, I’m blending both sides in with a damp the rounded side for the Pro filter and Ill use a flat side for the Were Even. Do you see, do you see what I’m seeing? Immediately there’s a difference between the two. Pro filter is a full coverage product and the color is more pronounced.

Fenty Pro Filtr Concealer vs. Fenty Were Even Concealer

When it comes to Fenty Beauty concealers, two popular choices are the Pro Filtr Concealer and the Were Even Concealer. Both products offer different shade options and coverage levels, catering to a wide range of makeup needs.

Shade Comparison

The Pro Filtr Concealer is known for its ability to provide full coverage, perfect for concealing dark circles and spots. On the other hand, the Were Even Concealer offers a lighter coverage, giving a more natural look.

While the shade range for both concealers is diverse and beautiful, its important to note that the Were Even Concealer tends to be lighter in comparison to the Pro Filtr Concealer. This makes it ideal for those who prefer a subtle, light coverage look.

Wear Test

Testing out the two concealers, the Pro Filtr left a flawless, airbrushed finish, completely covering any imperfections. On the other hand, the Were Even Concealer provided a softer, more natural finish, allowing some imperfections to peek through.

For a brightening effect, a combination of Pro Filtr 480 and 485c from Were Even was used. This created a balanced look that aimed to brighten and subtly conceal at the same time.

Its worth noting that in order to truly test the crease-proof nature of these products, using less setting powder can be beneficial. Setting powder is typically used to prevent creasing, so going without it can provide a true indication of how well the concealers hold up throughout the day.

Both the Pro Filtr Concealer and the Were Even Concealer serve their purposes well. Whether youre looking for full coverage or a lighter, more natural finish, theres a Fenty Beauty concealer for you.

Shade Comparison

Looking at the Fenty Pro Filtr Concealer and the Fenty Were Even Concealer, one of the first things that catch my attention is the shade range. Both concealers offer a wide variety of shades to choose from, catering to a diverse range of skin tones. This is definitely a positive aspect for those looking for a perfect match for their complexion.

Wear Test

I decided to put these two concealers to the test by applying them on my under eyes. This is a crucial area for concealers as it can reveal how well a product holds up throughout the day. Both the Pro Filtr and Were Even concealers claim to be long-wearing, crease-proof, humidity-proof, and sweat-resistant.

Setting Spray

After applying the concealers, I used the Milk Makeup Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder to set my face. However, I purposefully did not set my under eyes as both concealers claim to be crease-proof and resistant to settling in fine lines and pores.

Initial Impressions

It is now 4:00 p.m. and I must say that I am impressed with the way my base looks without setting powder on it. This opens up the possibility of finding a concealer that does not require setting powder and still maintains its crease-proof claims throughout the day. I am excited to see how the concealers hold up as my natural oils come through.

Shade Comparison & Wear Test

Skinlike. Look because if I leave my house right now, there is no way somebody’s going to tell me I have makeup on, except that maybe I put blush on my face. Okay, thank you for coming to my tet talk. I will see you in a few hours. The time is now 1002 and no setting powder, concealer or himma is checking in for the day. I am impressed with the concealers. They did such an amazing job at not just sliding off my eyes. I don’t see any pooling on my under eyes, thought I was going to come on here and be like Fenty y’all Li to was my lines did get oily yes, but the concealer did not pull in there. The concealer did not move, didn’t slip or slide or change tones on me after my oils came through, so I am very impressed with it. That being said, let’s take a look at the actual coverage of the concealers, the one, the one bold claim from the we even concealer, which is on my right side, is that it’s not going to fade on you throughout the day? Can you tell that the pro filter side is keeping its full coverage? Another thing that I also did was to put the pro filter on my eyes. I set my eyes with the pro filter. I also set this side with the were even concealer. Okay, is there a difference? ‘Cause I I can’t see.

Creasing and Movement

I do know that they, they absolutely did crease on the eyes they did move but which side do you think had less movement compared to the other?

The word even side is not looking bad but sitting it. Next, to the pro filter side definitely lets.

Appearance and Texture

You know that theres something missing when it comes to were even okay. This is the were even side. This is the pro filter side.
