Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Review | Milabu

First Application

Today, I am excited to review the new Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick. This innovative stick packaging brings a twist to their already amazing Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. With more coverage and a natural finish, this product promises to deliver that perfect blurring effect we all love. Let’s dive into how well the new Eaze Drop Stick performs.

Color Selection

I have been fortunate enough to try out two shades of this product, number 2 and number 4. I will apply both shades to my skin and see which one works best for my skin tone.

Application Method

To test the product thoroughly, I will start by applying it to one side of my face using my fingers. Then, I will finish off by blending it with a brush. On the other side, I will apply the product directly with the brush to see which application method yields better results.

Finding the Perfect Shade

As I begin the application process, I decide to start with shade number 4. It appears to be a close match to my skin tone, but with a slightly peachy undertone. I apply it directly to my skin, allowing it to melt and blend effortlessly. The texture is impressively creamy, making the application process a breeze. Not to forget, the packaging is thoughtfully designed with a tiny cap to prevent the cream from drying out.

Curious to see if shade number 2 would be a better fit, I decide to give it a try as well. Upon application, it seems to be slightly oxidizing, which may affect the final result. After careful examination, I conclude that shade number 2 actually matches my skin tone better. Its creamy consistency is absolutely remarkable.

Blending for a Seamless Finish

Now, it’s time to blend everything in for a flawless finish. I start with the side where I used my fingers, ensuring that the product is evenly distributed on my skin. The creamy texture makes it easy to blend and create a seamless look. Then, I move on to the other side, where I applied the product with a brush right from the beginning. The brush effortlessly melts the product into my skin, leaving no streaks or unevenness. It’s safe to say that both application methods produce satisfactory results.

Overall, the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick impresses with its creamy texture, easy application, and seamless blending. The range of shades allows for the perfect match to one’s skin tone. Whether you prefer using your fingers or a brush, this product provides a natural, blurring finish that many makeup enthusiasts desire. If you’re in search of a versatile and high-quality product, the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick is definitely worth considering.

Texture and Application

The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick has a unique texture that is not too slippery, unlike other products. When applied to the skin, it blends effortlessly without disappearing completely. It has a slight powder finish, which adds to its overall appeal. I didn’t encounter any issues during the application process and found it to be extremely convenient to use.

Moisturizer Recommendation

Unlike other brands, Fenty Beauty doesn’t mention the need for a primer to achieve the best wear. However, they do advise using a moisturizer before applying the product. I find this recommendation quite nice, as it ensures that the foundation blends seamlessly into the skin.

Reaction on the Skin

Unfortunately, I experienced a minor skin reaction prior to applying the foundation. I noticed a small bump, possibly a pimple, but thankfully it was easily concealed with the product. I used my fingers to gently tap the foundation onto the affected area, and it covered the imperfection effortlessly.

Application Techniques

To achieve a seamless finish, I recommend using a brush to blend the foundation. Even without any additional product, the brush works wonderfully in enhancing the overall look. It’s important to extend the application down the neck, into the hairline, and onto the ears for a flawless result. Surprisingly, I found that the foundation didn’t require much additional blending, as it effortlessly merged with the skin.

Natural and Undetectable Finish

Whether you choose to apply the foundation with your fingers or a brush, it provides a natural and undetectable finish. It doesn’t appear cakey or heavy on the skin, but rather enhances your natural beauty. The formula strikes a perfect balance between radiance and mattification, resulting in a beautiful, seamless look.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Review

I will say its not the most blurring. So Im thinking with the brush. It might be a little bit more blurring. But I do like the way its looking on my skin. So far.

Using the Brush

Now lets take the brush without any product on the brush and just start blending this in. I feel like with the brush Im, putting a little bit more force than I did with my fingers. And Im using the Rose and Ben C42 Brush. Okay.

I think if you have very dry skin, you might wan na apply some oil before blending. This stick out. Yes, its creamy. But do you see that Im going to use my buffing motion, which I usually dont do. But with this it kind of have to.? I thought it would help melt the stick a little bit further by letting it sit. But I feel like I have to put a little bit more force into blending this out. And my skin is moisturized. Its not dry.

Prefer Finger Application

Wow. I actually prefer it with the finger side first. It melted in a lot more into my skin versus the brush side. Its actually kind of sitting. On top of my peach fuzz. Probably a little bit more to my nose.

Texture and Blending

The texture of this foundation, the Eaze Drop. Stick is really lovely. Its just. You have to take a little bit of time to blend it. In. Take a little bit more right, here. On both sides. Im gon na use.

First Impressions

When I first tried the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation, I noticed that it required some extra effort to warm it up and make it blend seamlessly into my skin. If you have dry skin, like mine, it tends to settle in the nose area and requires a bit more work to achieve a flawless finish. My trick is to apply it to my skin and then use my fingers to really melt the formula into my skin before going in with a brush or sponge for a seamless blend.

Additional Products Used

For concealer, I decided to try out the new Gucci Concealer, and I must say it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. I also used a bit of the Westman Atelier Contour Stick on my lips and cheeks for added color and dimension. To complete the look, I mixed two colors of lip liner from Anastasia Beverly Hills: Deep Taupe and Rose Dream.

Wear Test

Now, let’s move on to the wear test. How does the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation hold up throughout the day? After two hours of wear, I stepped outside to assess the foundation’s performance in natural light. Surprisingly, it still looked really good. There was no excessive shine on my face, which is always a plus. However, I did notice a slight tackiness, especially on my chin and jawline. It made me feel a bit unsure about its staying power.

Texture and Application

The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation promises a seamless, flawless finish, but upon application, there’s a noticeable tackiness that lingers on the skin. Although it may not be a deal-breaker for some, for those who prefer a more comfortable and weightless feel, this might be a concern.

In terms of appearance

Despite the slight stickiness, the foundation does provide a blur effect when viewed from a distance. My skin looks smoother and more even, which is definitely a plus. However, upon closer inspection, there is a bit of texture on certain areas of my face. It’s not terrible, but it’s worth noting.

Longevity and Oil Control

After wearing the foundation for seven hours without setting it, I noticed significant oiliness in my T-zone. The makeup on my forehead began to break apart, with certain areas even showing signs of disappearing. The same issue arose around my nose and chin as well, where oiliness became more prominent. However, my cheeks surprisingly retained their luminosity and held up well throughout the day.

The Midday Debrief

In an attempt to let the foundation sink in and meld with my natural oils, I refrained from setting my face during the two-hour mark. By the four to five-hour mark, I noticed a slight improvement in the texture. However, this was short-lived as my skin’s natural oils began to wreak havoc on the foundation, causing it to further break apart.

The Final

As the day came to an end, I reached the 10-hour mark with the foundation still on my face. In the T-zone, the pores appeared enlarged and had a noticeable glow. While the experience of wearing the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation had its ups and downs, it ultimately fell short in terms of oil control and longevity.

The Look and Feel

When it comes to the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick, there’s no denying that it gives off a certain luminosity. The light on my phone gleams off my face, illuminating my features in a way that may seem captivating at first. However, despite this initial allure, the foundation leaves behind a rather oily finish. Even without direct lighting, it remains apparent that my skin is excessively shiny. This foundation may be suitable for those who prefer a dewy look, but for individuals with oilier skin types, I would recommend exercise caution.

Longevity

If you’re someone who prioritizes foundation longevity, then Fenty Beauty’s Eaze Drop Stick may fall short of expectations. In my experience, it acts as a reliable six-hour foundation, but only if you take the necessary steps to set your face. Without proper setting, it is prone to move and smudge throughout the day, especially if you have an oilier skin type. This is particularly important to note for individuals like myself who have combination skin. With a T-zone that tends to get oily, and the rest of my face ranging from normal to dry, finding a foundation that lasts throughout the day can be a struggle. Unfortunately, this foundation did not meet my specific needs.

Fenty Beauty’s Eaze Drop Stick foundation may be suitable for those who desire a luminous and dewy finish. However, it falls short when it comes to longevity and may not be the best choice for individuals with oilier skin types. Despite this, it is important to note that everyone’s skin is unique, and what may not work for me may be the perfect fit for you. So, if you’re intrigued by this foundation, I would encourage you to give it a try and see how it performs on your specific skin type.

Overall, the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation has its pros and cons. While it takes a bit of extra effort to warm up and blend into the skin, it does provide a seamless finish when used with the right technique. The wear test showed promising results after two hours, but the tackiness on certain areas of the face left me wanting to set it with powder. With a few tweaks and adjustments, this foundation has the potential to be a standout product in the Fenty Beauty lineup.

Although the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Stick Foundation initially provided a visually pleasing effect with its blurring properties, it couldn’t withstand the test of time and oiliness. The stickiness upon application and the foundation’s tendency to break apart were major downsides that left me feeling less than satisfied. While it may work better for those with drier skin types or when used in conjunction with a setting powder, oily skin individuals may need to consider alternatives.
