Prep and Prime with B Pure Hydrating Under Eye Concealer

As I embarked on my journey to create a full face makeup look using Dollar Tree products, I decided to start by prepping my eyes with the B Pure Hydrating Under Eye Concealer. Although originally intended for under eye coverage, I found that this concealer also works surprisingly well as an eye primer. Despite the limited shade options available at the store, I made do with the medium shade, knowing that sometimes you just have to work with what you have.

Set Everything Down with Infused Pressed Face Powder

One of the standout products I discovered at the Dollar Tree was the Infused Pressed Face Powder, priced at an unbelievable $1.25. This translucent powder may lack color, but it excels at setting everything in place. Its ability to seamlessly mattify the skin impressed me, making it a must-have in my makeup routine.

Experimenting with LA Colors Eyeshadow Quads

During my latest visit to the store, I stumbled upon new eyeshadow quads from LA Colors, featuring a variety of shades ranging from warm tones to cool tones. Opting for a cool tone look, I started off with a soft taupey gray shade from the quad, setting the stage for the eye makeup to come.

Eyeshadow Review

I love this color! I’ve actually been really into gray eyeshadow lately. If you have brown eyes, try it, it makes them pop so much. You do have to build it up when you first apply the color. It’s not super super pigmented, but if you keep adding the product and just packing it on, you get more of that pigment. I’m going to take that light silver and the other shimmer right next to it. I’m just going to mix those and spray my brush as well.

Setting Spray

I have this setting spray from my last full face as well. This is the matte finish setting spray. I’m going to put the brand name here on screen because I don’t know how to pronounce it. That is so pretty! I’m actually really impressed with these eyeshadows. I think they’re one of the better palettes that I’ve tried over the years. I definitely feel like the eyeshadows have gotten a little bit better, which is nice.

Just Vibin Eyeshadows

So yeah, the Just Vibin eyeshadows. I actually really like them a lot. I mean it’s more buildable, but look at the shimmers and with a little spray, it really makes the shimmers pop. If you don’t have spray, you can always use eye drops as well.

Smokey Eye Variation

I love a good classic smokey eye and there are tons of different variations of these little palettes. If you have brown eyes, try it, it makes them pop!

Eye Makeup Delight

Okay, I really like these. Let me see how they feel with their finger yeah. Actually, they feel super soft just like to the touch as well. So if you want to really take it there and make it pop apply these with your finger, theyre really going to give you that more metallic wet look, you guys know. I live for a smoky wied out, eyeshadow look but Im actually Im still going to apply my elf eye tapes but Im going to use a liquid liner and then I think, Im going to add a little bit of eyes Shadow. But I just love applying my tapes cuz. I feel like my wings. Look so much better lets start off with the liner first. So this is the new liner from LA Colors.

New and Improved Formulas

Apparently, a lot of the stuff from LA Colors by the way is like new and improved formulas, so I think thats why the eyeshadows are like so much better than before, but it says it Glides on smooth and this one is in black licorice. I dont, like this tip its like kind of stiff. It doesnt have a lot of flexibility but its okay. Since we have the tape, I think it should help a little bit.

Application Technique

I always like to start right on the edge of the tape and then just bring it towards the middle of my lid. I think this is really black. I just dont like the actual brush its very just hard.

Not the Best Liquid Liner

The Dollar Tree liquid liner may not offer much flexibility and the brush can be challenging to work with. While the formula is nice, there are better options available at the drugstore, especially for beginners. It also tends to tug at the skin, making application more difficult.

Using Eyeshadow Instead

Instead of sticking to the liquid liner, using eyeshadow to create a smudged liner effect can be a better alternative. It can provide a softer look and be easier to work with compared to the troublesome liquid liner.

Winged Liner Challenge

Creating a winged liner with the Dollar Tree liquid liner may not be the best option, as the formula and brush are not ideal for such precise application. It can be used for touch-ups or lining the lash line, but for a perfect wing, other brands like Wet n Wild or Essence may be better choices.

Drying Down Effect

Despite its challenges, the Dollar Tree liquid liner does have the benefit of drying down to a matte finish. This can help in creating a more polished look and can be a positive aspect of the product.

Final Touches

To complete the full face makeup look, applying lashes and mascara can enhance the overall appearance. While the Dollar Tree liquid liner may have its drawbacks, incorporating other products can help achieve a more cohesive and polished makeup look.

Essence Lash Princess vs. Dollar Tree Mascaras

I love the essence lash princess I would just skip out on Dollar Tree mascaras. I’ve tried almost all of them and they’re just not good. To be honest, so I know it’s only $1.25 but still use that towards a drugstore mascara. That is way better.

Affordable Mascara Favorites

One of my affordable favorites is the essence lash princess. This is the waterproof version, it’s so good. I’m also going to use these LA Colors Lashes in the style deure. I do have other affordable lashes that I prefer, but I will say these do get the job done.

Lashes Preferences

I also love ioni lashes at the Dollar Tree too, but I wanted to get something that was a little bit more on the wispy side. The ioni lashes are very dramatic, but if you like dramatic lashes, they have a lot of options. Let me pop these on and then I’ll be right back and we’re going to move into the skin.

LA Colors Lashes

I can’t remember if I tried this style lash, but out of all of the ones that I’ve tried from LA Colors, I really like these a lot. They’re not too long, and they were definitely the easiest to apply out of all these LA Colors lashes.

Favorite Eyeliners

Everything I really like so far minus the liner and it’s only because of the brush. I wanted to mention it’s not a dollar but it’s under $5. Another liner that is so good if you’re into liquid liner, it’s from Essence, it’s the super precise eyeliner. It’s also very black, super matte, and has a nice brush tip.

Skin Prep

It makes for a really easy application. I’m going to do my skin prep now. I’m going to go back in with that matte finish, setting spray just to prep my skin a little bit, and then I have a new primer. I don’t remember if that’s actually mattifying, but it does feel refreshing just right now.

The Primer

This primer is from B pure. It is the Essentially Ageless Blur Face Primer. Whenever I look at this at the Dollar Tree, it gives me LOreal Vibes a little bit. It’s pink and so pretty. I love this color pink. It kind of smells like Pepa, beol, a little bit, not too much. It feels really soft and silky, with a bit of a thicker consistency, but absorbs into the skin nicely. Ironically, it smells like Pepa beasal, but it’s not too strong.

The Foundation

For foundation, I’ve tried the Essentially Ageless Hydrating Serum Foundation from B pure. It’s a beautiful foundation, but I wish it came in more shades. Today, I’m going to mix in a little bit of the Candy Moyo BB cream in the shade light one to hopefully get a perfect shade.

Dollar Tree Makeup Full Face: Trying Out $1.25 Makeup Deals

I don’t think I tried this BB cream. If I did, it was a long time ago. So I just did a little mixture here, I’m going to just rub in with my fingers. First, oh, that might be actually a perfect match. The undertone might be a little bit off, but hey, I mean it works.

The BB cream is a little bit thicker. I will say I feel like it’s much thicker than the B pure Foundation, it’s a really lightweight Foundation, but the BB cream. Ironically, I feel like has a bit of a more thicker consistency and gives a little bit more coverage kind of gives foundation and skin thin Vibes like it feels really lightweight, but it does give some coverage.

Color Correcting with LA Colors Conceal Corrector

Now let’s do some color corrector. This is the LA Colors conceal corrector in the shade Peach. I thought for a second it said new and improved, but I think just the packaging is new, so I’m going to use this and then I’m going to use the other concealer and I’m going to mix in since the concealer is also not my shade.

I’m going to mix in some of That BB cream in there as well, but let’s try out the corrector. I did use this before. I think I liked this, but it doesn’t have a lot of coverage. It just very lightly corrects, but I remember the formula of this being pretty thin, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but let’s see oh yeah.

Final Thoughts on Dollar Tree Makeup

Testing out makeup from places like Dollar Tree can be a hit or miss. Sometimes you can find hidden gems for just a fraction of the cost of high-end brands. It’s essential to experiment and find what works best for your skin type and preferences.

While the BB cream may have provided decent coverage and a lightweight feel, the color corrector may have fallen short in terms of coverage. Mixing different products to customize your makeup routine can be a fun and creative way to achieve your desired look without breaking the bank.

Overall, the $1.25 makeup deals at Dollar Tree offer budget-friendly options for those looking to experiment with different makeup looks without spending a small fortune. Remember to have fun, play around with different products, and discover what works best for you!

Foundation

This is really Peach. I thought it was going to be a little bit lighter its actually a lot more Peach than it looks like in the package Blends really nicely. I think if you like this kind of color, you would like this one specifically cuz. It actually is blending in really nicely, but its. I dont think this is a good color corrector for my skin tone. I need something a little lighter like I said. I thought it was lighter based on the packaging, but its definitely a lot darker than I thought. So were going to do another little mixing action here again.

Concealer

Im going to go in with that b, pure hydrating, concealer and Im going to mix in that BB cream and then from here Im going to put some of this right on my under eyes. Im just going to do one eye at a time and Im going to blend that in with my my concealer brush, I am wiping off that peach under eye because its just a little bit too dark, and whenever I do these videos Im trying to make it Work so I dont want it to be a hot mess cuz. I actually dont think that this looks bad right now I mean other than the undertone of the foundation being a little bit off, but its not that bad, so were going to do that again.

Final Touches

So, Im going to just take that mixture which that BB cream helps so much otherwise, I would not be able to make the foundation or concealer work, because there way too, like yellowy orange, oh yeah.

Foundation Application

That looks way better, going to also put a little bit of that right on. My T Zone feel like this is just overall a better match than the foundation itself too, but it actually looks really pretty like very healthy hydrated glowy, but it gives coverage I’m going just put all this little bit of that concealer on my cheek, because I don’t know why it looks kind of faded there, but the color match, I think, is like so much better than the foundation anyway. So I’m just going to put a little bit right there, pretty good.

BB Cream Impressions

The BB cream definitely came through and I actually really like the consistency of it, it’s a little bit thicker but it’s very creamy.

Bronzer Application

New cream bronzer from LA Colors. This is the two cheeky bronzer I’m going to put some on the back of my hand and then from here it looks a little bit red but that’s why we do this first cuz. It makes it so much easier. I’m going to take my brush from here on the back of my hand and then apply it to the skin. It makes it so much easier versus if you apply the product and draw stripes on your face, which I used to do that before, and this is just so much more seamless, okay, this color is actually also a lot better than I thought it does have a bit of a reddish undertone, but it looks really nice.

Exploring Dollar Tree Makeup Finds

As I perused the aisles of my local Dollar Tree, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of makeup products, each priced at an unbelievably low $1.25. Intrigued by the potential makeup deals, I decided to challenge myself to create a full face of makeup using only products from Dollar Tree.

Testing the Foundation

My first step was to try out the foundation I picked up, a brand called L Doo. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it blended into my skin, despite drying quickly. The coverage was decent and the finish was natural, making it a promising start to my makeup experiment.

Setting Everything in Place

After applying the foundation, I reached for a pressed powder infused with bamboo extracts. I used a powder puff to set my entire face, focusing more on my T-zone and under eyes. While the powder did its job well, I couldn’t ignore the slightly strong scent that came with it. Nevertheless, it was the best option available at Dollar Tree for setting my makeup.

Final Touches with Blotting

To complete my full face of makeup, I used the pressed powder for blotting and touch-ups throughout the day. Although it may not be ideal for the under eyes, it served its purpose well for quick sets and on-the-go touch-ups.

Overall Impression

As I gazed at my finished makeup look, I couldn’t help but marvel at the fact that I had created it using products that cost me only $1.25 each. While there may be better options available at the drugstore, the Dollar Tree makeup deals proved to be a pleasant surprise in terms of quality and affordability.

Milani Crme Lipstick

Milani has a krice, but it definitely works. If you want something quick and affordable, it’s one of those products that you can just throw in your bag for an emergency. Once you blend everything in with the brush, it always looks so scary at first. But that’s why I always say, you have to trust the process.

LA Colors Bronzer

Let’s amp up the bronzer a little bit more with the LA Colors “Just Vibin” bronzer in the shade “Let’s Go”. You can still actually see the liquid bronzer underneath, but I just want to amp it up a little bit. The liquid bronzer turned out to blend and look a lot better than I thought. I thought it was going to be a bit too red, but it wasn’t bad. It’s actually really pigmented, especially when you use a fluffier brush.

BK Beauty 111 Blush

The BK Beauty 111 brush actually gives a really pretty color, but it’s a little difficult to blend because it’s pretty intense. Use a light hand for application, as it can be a bit challenging to blend seamlessly. However, when used correctly, it doesn’t look bad at all.

LA Colors Blushes

Maybe if I had a little bit more of a tan, it would complement my skin tone a bit more, but it’s really pigmented. Let’s try out these LA Colors new blushes. The pink one is in the shade “Text Me” and the peach is in “XOXO”. I’m going to start off with the peach one. First, oh that’s pretty, oh wow! This almost gives like a really pretty light sheen, but it’s not too glittery, it’s actually not glittery at all, it’s really smooth, but it gives a bit of this really light glow. Oh my God. I love that, that’s so pretty. That’s a really pretty peach color too. Now let’s try the pink one on the other side. Mhm, wow, but I am impressed at how intense these are, like for $1.25, that’s actually insane. So far, the blushes are my favorite. I think, especially this peach color “XOXO”. This is perfect.

LA Colors Auto Lip Liner

For lip liner, these are new which I’m really excited about LA Colors Auto lip liner. This one’s in the shade “Giggle”. They actually had a couple different shades but, of course, we’re going to go with the nude. Most of them were actually like nude pink, this a pretty pink, it’s not too pink, but it’s like a really natural shade. It’s sort of like the color of my lips, but a little bit more rosy. Tell me why, when I saw this, I immediately thought of Tower 28.

Lip Products

But this is the lip jelly. It says clean Beauty on here, but then the packaging says be pure, but its in the shade Sandy. So Im going to top the lip liner off with this. Oh wow, it smells like a chocolate, Tootsie Roll, oh its pretty. Okay! Wait, this is actually really pretty. If you dont, like the feel of lip products, this is actually really nice. It feels like nothing on the lips and now we can try the lipstick and this one is in the shade nude, and that is the color. My light just went out: this is very pink its actually, I think this would be pretty with a brown lip liner hold on my light, went out this light, always d, but thats why we have a backup. I actually really like this shade of pink its a really nice like Center shade, and I it looks, I think, really pretty colors like this. With brown lip liner Im going to use a little Moira lip pencil in Caramel beige.

Lip Liner

I really like the way that it looks and the lip product actually feels pretty nice. The lip liner wasnt bad, the one that I used from La colors, but I just want a little bit more of like a brown Music tone and I think it looks really nice with the pink lip liner just makes anything look so much better. I actually love this shade. Oh my gosh obsessed that looks really good.

Eye Makeup

Let’s finish up the eyes with a little LA Colors liner in Champagne Shimmer. The silver color on the lids looks amazing, especially when combined with a little pop of color in the inner corners. A touch of setting spray ensures everything stays in place throughout the day.

Lip Gloss

The ioni crystal lip gloss in a shimmery nude shade adds a touch of glamour to the look. While it could be more pigmented, it works as a subtle brow bone highlight. The lip jelly, on the other hand, is perfect for a natural, glossy finish without any stickiness.

Standout Products

My top picks from the Dollar Tree makeup haul are the LA Colors lipstick and blush. The pigmentation and color payoff of the blush are stunning, while the lipstick adds a pop of color to the lips. The eyeshadow palette, with its cute silver shade, is perfect for creating a glamorous look on a budget.
