Initial Impressions
It just hit the streets. I got them lets. Try them in rating 1 through 10. Now let me tell you something this particular video is going to focus just on the performance of the products on tight, curly hair. I know ever since she announced these products. Its been a lot of conversation. I understand but right here we just want to see how it works.
Products Used
For the products I got the double cleanse kit, which has a clarifying shampoo, a hydrating shampoo and a moisturizing deep conditioner. I’m going to use all three and then I got a Styler, which is the moisture sealing lotion.
Application Process
So for this video, I’m going to have to do a blown out twist out – and that is because listen mother – follows the instructions. Okay and it literally says, apply sparingly on damp or dry hair and for best results use before applying heat. So listen, they say: use heat I’m use meat, okay. So with that being said, let me go ahead and wet my hair and get into this video.
Washing and Conditioning
This is the clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub. They want you to rub it in for one or two minutes: listen I’ve been reading my instructions Jack, but yeah rub it in for 1 to 2 minutes and then, when the exfoliants dissolve this, when you’re done so anyway, lets get into it. It smells like mints! Ooh, that smells good.
The Experience
It definitely smells like mint, but it’s not overpowering. It reminds me of a botanical scalp scrub with that minty freshness. As I massage it into my scalp, it feels invigorating and refreshing. Unlike some minty products that can be intense, this one is more subtle, which I appreciate. Overall, it feels soothing and calming as I work it into my hair.
The Rinse
After rinsing out the clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub, I noticed that while I didn’t feel a tingling sensation immediately, towards the end of the 2 minutes, there was a slight tingling feeling. But the real standout was how refreshed my scalp felt. It was like my pores had been fully cleansed and rejuvenated. As for my strands, they definitely felt clean, almost squeaky clean, but not overly stripped.
The Hydrating Shampoo
Next up was the hydrating shampoo. Following the same instructions, I lathered it up and rinsed as directed. The texture of the shampoo was luxurious and rich, providing a nourishing feel as I massaged it through my hair. After rinsing, my hair felt softer and more manageable. The hydration was noticeable, and my curls seemed to bounce back to life with a newfound vitality.
The Shampoo Experience
So lets do that all right. So, okay, it looks exactly like the other shampoo except it. Doesnt have the exfoliating beads, and this has a different smell. It smells slightly floral, but what I will say is, although it is scented Its Not Over powering, so I do like this so lets work her up too ooh so far, so good Im not really particular about shampoos just dont dry. My hair out Ill be honest. That clarifying shampoo is strong, oh shes, strong. I can definitely feel that all right.
Rinsing Out
Sweet sugar. Let me go ahead and rinse this out and I will be back baby. What is this? She looks crazy. What is this and were back? I just rinsed out the hydrating shampoo. I will say it is a very good cleanser. I dont have a problem with it at all. It didnt make my hair feel any more like tight or anything than what the clarifying shampoo did. So we good to go in my book.
The Moisturizing Deep Condition
So lets get into the moisturizer deep condition: child Im trying to get y Lo out of here its a lot of stuff to do so. Instructions are pretty basic, apply, generously, leave it on no longer than 30 minutes works. For me, so it is a consistency that is very similar to lotion its not super thick at all. This literally looks like some aino lotion. The smell is very, very faint. It even smells like a basic lotion, all right so yeah thats the consistency I dont know.

If you can tell boom boom boom, all right so lets apply her. So it goes on very light, goes on very light. Listen to me. It goes on very light, so Im just go ahead and work that on in there good thing about this big shop is. I dont have a whole lot of hair to put conditioner on in the first place, no more amen and, I think, were good to go so they said, add heat for best.
Revisiting Old Techniques
Now I aint did this in a minute. Okay, my OGs know where this is going. So hi, if youre new here whats up my name is f. I am a big child thats, just it either love it or hate it. I am what I am so with that being said. I used to have a sidekick on this channel. This sounds so stupid. Anyway, I used to have a sidekick on the channel she used to try to kill me. I end up hating her and thats just what it is, but for this one particular video we going to bring her out of the prison that she been in and go ahead and put it off. So with that being said, oh je yall know whats up on account of three say it. One.
Trying Out New Products

Under the Dryer
Now I am actually going to get under the dryer. I’m going to let this sit for 30 minutes, process, rinse it out and come back and tell y’all my experience so far.
Moisture Surprise
I have rinsed out my hair and let me say this – the moisture on that surprised me. I did sit under the dryer for 30 minutes and when I rinsed it out, you could literally feel the moisture on my hair. So I did like that. It is a more medium range like it’s not heavy at all, but it’s also not super light either. So it did give me some nice moisture.
Lack of Slip
However, and I have to be totally honest – listen, I love you now, but those of us in the natural hair community, we usually like products with slip. If you don’t know what slip means, it means that it kind of leaves a little bit of a coating on the strand that makes it easier to detangle. That coating makes your strands feel slippery. This is not that. Okay, this product is not a slippery product at all. Nice moisture, no slip, alright.
Blow Out and Styling
So with that being said, let me go blow out my hair, because this says to use on damp or dry hair for best results used after applying heat. So I’m going to blow out my hair, apply this product and we’re going to get to styling.

My hair lets get into this style, so they have the moisture, sealing lotion and, like I said they said, to use it on damp or dry hair, which is why I blew it out um and then its best to apply before applying heat. So what Im going to do is use this set my hair and then get under the dryer, so this product can dry kich all right. It literally is a lotion like it look just and feels just like some Jergens baby, all right, so Im going just apply this to this. Oh, it smell good all right, so Im going to just apply that to the this whole section and Im pretty much just going to set my hair for a flat twist out. So lets put this right here and Im just take my hair girl just do a flat twist out Im not going to do the entire Style on camera with yall. Just to save you some time, but I just wanted to show you what Im doing so just flat it up twist it all the way down um. This does have a nice amount of slip to it. So I like that this this actually feels great um going on my hair girl, how how long you going to take boom. So that is what Im going to do on my entire head and once its dry Im going to come back on camera and were going to take it down together.

Okay, my hair is dry. First of all, don’t come on here talking about these curls, okay, they’re going to be cute in a minute, at least I hope so. Let’s take down one twist and see how it does and then I’ll style my hair and come back to give you the final results and my final thoughts.
The Scent of Luxury
My hair smells so good. All the products have a nice scent, but that lotion smells like luxury, baby, so let’s take that down. Okay, okay, let me take down the rest of my hair, style it, and we’re going to wrap this video up. Wait! Real quick! Excuse me. I took down the one twist just to show y’all, but then I did this one that I twisted even tighter. I know y’all see, I listen.
The Initial Experience
This is a good line, but if you expecting your hair to feel like it’s slathered in shea butter and things like that, no ma’am, this is not that. Now, let’s get into the products. First things first is the clarifying shampoo and the scalp scrub.
The Scalp Scrub
My scalp adored this particular product. It made my scalp feel very airy, very light, very, very clean. I’ve been on a hair growth journey to grow my hair back from postpartum shedding and the big chop that I had. So, I’ve been putting oil on my scalp every day, not necessarily on my strands, but I have been oiling my scalp. This scalp scrub was able to clarify and cleanse all that oil. My scalp felt good, it was scalp-nourishing, honey.
The Clarifying Shampoo
As far as the clarifying shampoo, while this did not strip my actual strands, it very much so cleansed them. Because I don’t put a lot of stuff on my strands, my hair didn’t need that deep of a clarifying. So, for me, it made my hair feel tighter and it made it kind of overlap a little bit. But again, it’s because my hair didn’t necessarily need a clarifying. I just wanted to make some content for y’all. If ever my hair is dirty, this product is able to get the job done without stripping. I actually like this clarifying shampoo, but just keep in mind.
The Cleansing Shampoo
It is very, very cleansing and effective, which means it’s doing its job. It cleansed my hair without tangling it or stripping it, so the hydrating shampoo gets a thumbs up from me.
The Hydrating Shampoo
For me, this was just a shampoo. It cleansed my hair without making it feel tangled or anything like that. It didn’t strip my hair, so the hydrating shampoo gets a thumbs up.
The Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
This level of moisture is medium; it’s not too light, but it’s not super heavy either. I found it to be really nice after leaving it on my hair under a cap for 30 minutes. However, if I could change anything, I would add some slip to make detangling easier, but this product is not tailor-made just for Naturals.
The Moisture Sealing Lotion
What surprised me the most was the moisture sealing lotion. This lotion is actually a styling product, not just a leave-in with different names on it. It has a bit of hold to it, and I loved the way it performed. It’s a cream, not just a lotion or serum; it’s a true styler that provides moisture and definition to the hair.
Application Experience
I didn’t do a lot of separating and it definitely is staying in place. What I will say, though, when they say apply sparingly, they mean that, because the places where I applied it more heavily, I did get some flaking. But that’s again, why they say go light with it so I’ll take that L that it was my fault that I got a little bit of flaking.
Favorite Product
Overall, this is my favorite product from the line. This sealing lotion, rockstar status.
Overall Assessment
So overall I think they did a good job with this line. I know a lot of people got a lot of different opinions on things. I understand. I’m just here to talk about the product. That’s what I did and now I’m going to go.

Okay, my hair is complete. Let’s get into my final thoughts on everything. First of all, the brand. I think the brand is beautiful. I love the packaging. I love the messaging of it, that got my attention. I will say because I am a natural hair content creator, yeah, I do other things, but I rep for the naturals. In considering that, I will say this line is not tailor-made just for natural hair.
Usually those product lines, an example would be Shea Moisture, Mielle Organics, The Mane Choice, Pattern Beauty – they cater more towards natural hair. This line, CECRED By Beyonce, is more so K18, Olaplex, Redken – more professional based versus the home-natural base. So, when you keep that in mind and set your expectations with that in mind… it all comes together differently.
