Introduction
Of course, my favorite prex, the Oscars Are Tonight by the time this goes up. I have to ask: did you guys watch so today is a fails. Video. It has been quite some time since Ive done a fails, Ive accumulated. Let me see here. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Six six fails to share with you takes me a while to accumulate things that I actually can speak about really not liking. Just because one the products I tend to purchase and the products that are sent to me are from great Brands and I oftentimes either like or love the product, but of course, there are misses and thats what this is about today. These are just things that I didnt prefer that didnt work for me. They could absolutely be your favorite products and that is so valid. Even though Im not talking about like makeup that Im wearing today, I always like to link everything I have on my Face Down Below in the description box, because I always get questions about that.
Product 1: Milk Makeup – Cooling Water Jelly Tints
First were going to start with a product that I could not believe I didnt like I mean I was so ready to fall in love with this product. If youve watched my channel recently, youre probably going to know what products Im going to talk about. First, because I did talk about it in another video a few weeks ago and that is the milk makeup – cooling, water, jelly tints.

Milk Sheer Lip and Cheek Stain
Now I have to add that the products I’m talking about today I do not have anymore – I got rid of them, so I am going to be putting their image up on the screen for you, so you can see what I’m talking about. This is a sheer lip and cheek stain from Milk, and my God I mean I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a product more hyped and promoted than this.
It was like every other post on my Instagram feed was about the damn jelly tints. So the minute these launched, I purchased two of the shades. I know a lot of people love these. I really, really did not, and I did try many different ways to apply it, including the way that a lot of people swear by which is basically like taking a brush. I would take a Duo, fibre brush, dip it into the product and then apply it to your cheeks – didn’t like it.
I’m a blush lover. I am not a subtle blush person, I am not a person who is afraid of blush. I am not a person who is going to back off of the blush – I’m the opposite of all that. So this was a product that one was just not pigmented enough for me and two did not blend well at all, no matter how I tried to blend it. It was patchy, it didn’t play well with other products.
The only positive thing I have to say about this product is just like the actual packaging and the feel of the product was exceptional. The packaging is absolute eye candy, it makes me want to buy it, and the actual product itself is eye candy.
Meritt Flush Balm
It literally looks like a push poop, but the actual application of the product and the functionality of the product for me did not cut it at all. Today, I’m mostly wearing the Meritt Flush Balm, shade Stock Home on my cheeks, and it just looks so smooth. It goes on so flawlessly. It barely takes any effort to apply these that’s, the kind of cream liquid blush stain whatever it is that I’m looking for and I’m just going to say it I’m kind of a blendaholic like I am very big on the blending. So the fact that I couldn’t figure out a way to blend this on my skin to make it look good, that’s just an automatic no, there are just too many other products that apply like that and they look gorgeous. I actually feel like this is a really poor version of the Benefit Benetint. If I were going for this type of product, I would definitely purchase that over these.
Road Glazing Milk Dupe
The next product I’m going to talk about is definitely a copycat of the Road Glazing Milk. As you guys know, I cannot talk enough about the Road Glazing Milk. It is a top three skin care product for me. Currently, it has been since the day it dropped. It is just a phenomenal Essence product. It actually doesn’t feel right to just call it. In essence, it’s like an amped up Essence anyway, I could do a whole video on the Road Glazing Milk.
Base Face Milk by Elia
I love it so much so when Elia came out with the base face milk. I was intrigued, but I was also a little nervous for them, because the bar is really high with the glazing milk, so ilas sent me their base face milk, and I also want to mention that this retails for 58, which is a lot compared to the road Glazing milk, which is actually 30, which is way more affordable and its just a way way way better product, guys Im not going to lie to you.
Initial Impressions
I didn’t waste my time with this product very much. I tried this about two to three times. I was so unimpressed compared to the road glazing milk. I was like this isn’t even worth it, so I gave it to a friend and im not saying that this isn’t a nice product. I certainly did not spend enough time to speak to this product.
Texture and Feel
The road glazing milk is a Formula I have never experienced before. It is cooling theres like this body to it, I you cant, say its thick, but I suppose for an Essence. It is kind of thick the Elia base face milk was very, very thin. It did not have any cooling properties to it, it did not feel like it was as nourishing as the road glazing milk whatsoever.
Comparison
It just felt like a true poor, Mans version of the road glazing milk to me – and I was just it – was pretty much an immediate, no plus when you look at the price of this.
The Onpo Precision Brow Pencil
This is 28 more than the road glazing milk, which is the OG. I dont even know why you would mess around with this, so the next two products Im going to talk about are brow products, products from Ami colle. I love the brand Ami colle so much. I almost feel like. I need to give this disclaimer before I talk about the fact that I didnt love their brow products. I love their blush sticks theyre phenomenal. I love their lip oils, so theres a lot of good going on at Ami colle, but the brow products. I was not impressed with this would be the onpo Precision brow pencil. The pencil was not pigmented enough for me, and I believe I got it in the medium brown and maybe even the dark brown. Definitely only one of those two and then on top of it, the actual pencil itself like completely broke off and just slipped out of the tube. So I only used it for like a week because it just broke on top of it.
The Ultra Flex Brow Shaping Gel
The brow gel, which is generally my go to for a super quick eye. They sent their clear brow gel so anytime. I use a clear brow gel, Im obviously going to use something pigmented underneath like a pencil, but I do love a clear brow gel because you can go in and really like brush your brows up and get that nice hold with it, which is what Im looking for in a gel, this did not have have really any hold for me.
BROW PRODUCTS
It didn’t really keep my brows up at all. It just didn’t really do anything for them. So I personally don’t think the brow products are their Forte.
JONES ROAD PRODUCTS
Moving on to two products from Jones Road, the neutralizer pencil and the face pencil, I believe they sent me two different shades of the face pencil, which is their concealer, and they sent me one shade of their neutralizer pencil. The neutralizer pencil was actually the correct Shade for me, the concealer pencils were not the ideal ones.
PENCIL FORMULA
I am not into the pencil like. I don’t understand this delivery system. I don’t like this formula. I don’t think it’s like the worst pencil formula I’ve ever used, but I would never look to a pencil when I’m looking for a concealer. Even going over the top of my eyes with eye cream underneath the pencil just felt dry.
FAILURE OF BLENDING
I just felt like it didn’t blend out very well. It wasn’t that beautiful creamy formula that I get from my liquid and cream concealers.
CONTINUUM WATERPROOF GEL EYELINER
The last product that I was like hell no is the Continuum waterproof gel eyeliner from make Beauty. Make Beauty is another brand where I have fallen so hard in love with it like I’m wearing their Foundation right now. It is so good.
Disappointing Gel Liner
I am loving so many of their products, but this was not it. For me, this was actually a free gift with purchase. When I made my last make order, the free gift with purchase was the gel liner in the shade Eclipse, which is black. This just wasnt impressive. It was just kind of a like whatever eyeliner, I was honestly kind of surprised. I didnt feel like this was the driest pencil Ive ever used like there was a little bit of Glide to it compared to the eyeliners I used. First and foremost, I will mention the Persona eyeliners, which are incredible so buty so glidey. This could not compare to that eyeliner. It did not Glide like that. I did not feel like. I could work with the formulas easily. Like often times with my eyeliners, I will do like a tiny baby wing and then Ill use the warmth of my finger and just literally lightly pull the wing out and then you know, dab away the excess kind of erase it with my finger. This was not nearly as easy to do that with thank you guys so much for joining me for this video. I hope it was helpful lash entertaining honestly. This is kind of one of the longer lists of fails Ive had in a while. You guys are the best.
