For this scorching summer, my hair has taken on a new life of its own. It has gradually become wavier, almost borderline curly over the past few years. While I’m not complaining about the transformation, it has necessitated a change in my haircare routine. Thankfully, last year I stumbled upon a product that has continued to work wonders for me, especially during these hot and humid months the Moroccan hydrating styling cream.
Each night, after showering and washing my hair, I apply this cream to the ends while they are still slightly damp. I make sure to remove most of the water from my hair before combing it through the ends. The result? The frizz is significantly reduced, and my hair maintains a beautiful wave without becoming a dreaded poof ball. Though it does have a fragrance, which is common in hair styling products, I actually enjoy its light scent. Plus, a little goes a long way, making this bottle last forever.

I like to apply it on the high points of my face, such as the cheekbones, brow bone, and the bridge of my nose, for a subtle yet noticeable glow.
The Versatile Hair Product
I have had this almost a year now and I still have quite a bit left. Im, actually really trying to make my way through it because I dont use that much with each apple. Each time I use it, you really dont need it a lot, but its good within 12 months of opening so Im just about there. I want to make sure I finish it off, but the other thing thats nice about this is, if you wear your hair like up in a ponytail or in a bun or something, and you get those little flyaways, those little wispies.
Taming Those Flyaways
You can just take a little tiny drop of this and smooth them down its not like a gel or a mousse, its going to get crunchy. It just slicks things down a little bit gently without being tight drying, while also keeping the hair soft and manageable. So its great to just get those little, you know those little fuzzies that pop up.

This is a product that I talk about all the time, but it has really come to my rescue in multiple ways this summer, and it is the mighty patch from hero. Cosmetics tries, I may you know, I use mosquito repellent, but inevitably here, youre going to get bit by a mosquito, its almost a fact of life.
The Wrong Thing to Do
Scratching a mosquito bite is the wrong thing to do, but its very hard not to when you scratch. It leads to the release of more itch signals and it can introduce bacteria into the mosquito bite.

What’s great about this hand cream is that if you have very sensitive skin and struggle with other moisturizers staying on your eczema, this one is perfect. In my experience, colloidal oats do not sting. The formula also contains glycerin, dimethicone, and petrolatum, but despite the ingredients, it is not greasy at all. It absorbs quickly, making it a convenient option for daily use.
The Importance of a Humidifier
Now, I must admit that I’m going to be a bit of a hypocrite here. I always emphasize the importance of using a humidifier during the cooler months when your skin gets dry. It’s especially beneficial to run one at night while you sleep, as the moisture in the air can drop and further dry out your skin. However, I live in an area that is essentially a glorified terrarium. It is always moist and humid here. Mildew can even be a problem in some places. While I don’t have a mildew issue in my apartment, I decided to get a dehumidifier at the beginning of summer. Running it all summer has made a huge difference in the overall comfort level of my apartment. It has significantly decreased the draftiness, making it a more enjoyable space to be in.

I absolutely love the dehumidifier I purchased. It is small and compact, making it easy to place anywhere in my apartment. What sets it apart from others is how remarkably quiet it is. I barely notice it running, even when I’m in the same room. It has been a blessing during these humid months, helping to control the moisture levels in my living space. However, when I first got my hands on these brushes, I was already using the ELF makeup brushes that I had been comfortable with for years.
