The Australian Beauty Brand Making Waves in the U.S.

The reason why you have not heard of MCO beauty is because you probably don’t live in Australia. I actually don’t know if MCO beauty is available outside of Australia and just hasn’t been in the United States until now, but because the majority of my audience is US based I’m just going to say to you, you can now purchase MCO Beauty here in the United States at these retailers, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Frys, Smiths and affiliate stores.

Accessible Luxury for Less

If you do not live in the United States – and you have no idea what any of these stores are, they are grocery stores. Most grocery stores do sell things like cosmetics, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, all of those kinds of things. So now, when you are doing your normal grocery shopping, you can pick up some beauty products that are all cruelty-free and vegan. MCO Beauty’s claim is that you get luxury quality for less. Looking at the prices of everything, some of these products are $18-$20, which is a little bit higher for what one would consider a drugstore brand.

High-Quality Dupes

That’s not to say that there aren’t L’Oreal, Revlon, Maybelline, Covergirl products that aren’t getting up into that price range. However, in comparison to the price point of the luxury products, these are alternatives to. The affordability of MCO Beauty products makes them ideal for those looking for high-quality dupes at a more reasonable price point.

Cruelty-Free and Vegan

One of the standout features of MCO Beauty products is that they are all cruelty-free and vegan. This is a major selling point for many consumers who are looking for ethical beauty options that align with their values. The brand’s commitment to being cruelty-free and vegan sets it apart from many other makeup brands on the market.

MCoBeauty Products Review

There is a huge savings, so today I’m going to show you how I achieved this look using the MCoBeauty products I was sent. Even though they did send me that PR package, I was under no obligation to talk about it. This is not a sponsored video.

MCo Beauty Sule Dream Moisturizing Cream

Starting off with the Sule Dream moisturizing cream, this retails for $18.39. The packaging is very similar to Drunk Elephant Protini, where you push down and the product comes out the top. It feels a little heavy on my oily skin, but for someone with dry skin, the thickness might be appreciated. It does feel nice, though.

MCo Beauty Super Glow Bronzing and Blush Drops

They also sent over the Super Glow Bronzing and Blush Drops, which seem to be dupes for Drunk Elephant products. The bronzing and blush drops are supposed to add color to the face, but personally, I’ve never really understood the point of these products. They might work well for someone looking to add a hint of color before applying foundation.

Final Thoughts on MCoBeauty Products

Overall, the MCoBeauty products seem to offer alternatives to high-end brands like Drunk Elephant at a more affordable price point. While some products may not be suitable for all skin types, they do provide a budget-friendly option for those looking to experiment with different makeup looks.

The Hype Surrounding MCoBeauty

For a no makeup makeup day, many opt for a bit of mascara and some lip balm. Some prefer to add a product like MCoBeauty’s bronzer underneath foundation for a subtle bronzy glow. However, the bronzy glow isn’t always noticeable under makeup, leaving some questioning the hype surrounding such products. Despite the mixed opinions, there is a desire for a more affordable alternative to achieve a similar bronzy look.

Testing Out the Product

Curiosity led me to try out MCoBeauty’s bronzer beneath my foundation to see if it truly adds a bronzy tint to my complexion. Applying a small amount onto my fingertips, I noticed an instant bronzy hue that appeared quite pleasing. The color was not overly orange, giving me hope for a radiant glow.

Unexpected Results

When I applied my foundation over the bronzer, the tint was not completely covered up – indicating that the product truly does provide a subtle bronzy effect. This tinted product offers no coverage, serving solely to enhance the skin with a bronzy hue. Even with my slightly darker foundation due to a recent self-tan, the bronzer still added a noticeable touch of color.

Bronzing Drops vs Foundation:

To match my neck and chest, but yeah again, I dont really see the point of using bronzing drops if youre going to cover it up with Foundation, because I really dont think it comes through under the foundation. I think this would look exactly the same if I hadnt applied the drops. What I should have done now in hindsight is one side with the bronzing drops and one side without darn it should have would have could have all right.

Instant Contour Cream Bronze:

I went ahead and applied some concealer and now the next product Im testing out is this instant Contour cream bronze, this retails for 18.39, and it has an identical applicator to the Charlotte Tilbury Contour wand. So I unlocked it and Im going to apply that here here. Oh yeah, this is a lot darker than the one I have from Charlotte Tilbury. Does this come in more than one shade? Oh duh, they sent me medium dark. All right well were going to make it work. We are going to make it work just going to use a very light amount through here – well at least its sheer its very sheer, so it didnt take a lot of work to blend out the darkness. Oh yeah, this is actually not bad at all yeah. So if you maybe accidentally order the wrong one its not that big of a deal because look how easily its blending out.

Brow Lamination Sculpt and Set:

Moving on to the Brows they sent over this brow, lamination sculpt and set.

Testing MCoBeauty Brow Sculptor

So I am going to sculpt with this side. That looks very much like a product from Ri, so Im going to brush my brows up with this okay, I dont really understand the purpose of this well yeah. I guess its brushing them up, which I do. Oh there we go. I just needed more on them. Oh okay, well now theres too much okay learning curve. All right! I dont know if I was supposed to fill in my brows first or ADD after okay, so Im just taking my finger kind of laminating them in place.

Comparison with NYX Brow Pencil

Why do I feel, like I, have a zit underneath my brow right lets see what happens here, Im going to take a NYX brow pencil, since they do not have a brow pencil, or at least they didnt, send me a brow pencil all right, so it is Going over the white fluffing product nicely Im, not getting any flaking, which happens a lot with some of these brow products.

Mistakes Made with Application

I think I did this the wrong way honestly and I think Ive done the same thing with the ri product. You are supposed to fill your brows in first and then go in with this, so I did do it the wrong way. Well, lets see what happens if I go back and try to use some of this, I do feel like it lifted some of the color, which is why I did it the way I did it, because, typically, unless a brow gel is clear, I find that it Lifts off the color Ive laid down so now Ive got to go back in and fill okay.

Testing MCoBeauty’s Mascara

I spent way longer on these brows than I intended to. I went ahead and applied my eyeshadow. I will have everything listed and linked in the description box and now it’s time to try. This extends end lash mascara. This is a tubing mascara and I do like a tubing mascara. I find that they are less likely to smudge and flake, and I also enjoy the fact that it’s easily removed with just warm water and your fingertips, the tubes slide right off at least that’s what they’re supposed to do. It’s definitely not clumpy, it’s not a super wet formula, but it’s not super dry either. It’s giving me nice separation and volume, not a ton of length, not bad, it’s very natural looking and feathery. Second coat’s giving a little bit more length. Okay, it’s getting a little clumpy trying to build up. I don’t know if I like it as much as my Thrive mascara or the Milani. I also never really like to judge a mascara until I’ve had it finger pat it right.

Testing MCoBeauty’s Blush Drops

Here I feel like this is applying a little bit patchier than the Charlotte Tilbury, but still very, very pretty and obviously a lot more affordable. Im going to put a tiny bit in my tear duct. I’ve already put this blush on, but do you think I should try? The blush drops too let’s just pile it on here. This is a little bit more of a cool pink I’m just giving myself some Pink glowy Cheeks.

The Perfect Shade for Every Skin Tone

If you have fair skin and prefer cool pinks, the MCoBeauty flushed cheek and lip tint is the ideal choice for you. On the other hand, if you have a darker complexion and lean towards redder pinks, this product will be more suitable. The versatility of shades makes it easy to find the perfect match for your skin tone.

Quality Cheek and Lip Tint

The MCoBeauty cheek and lip tint in the shade Blush Red is a versatile product that delivers a natural flush of color to both your cheeks and lips. While the cheek stain aspect of the product works well, it may be more suitable as a cheek stain rather than a lip stain, as it tends to transfer.

Luscious Lip Gloss for a Perfect Finish

To complete your look, the MCoBeauty lip light shine gloss adds a touch of shimmer and gloss to your lips, giving you a radiant finish. The added bonus of a built-in mirror and light makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups and adds a touch of glamour to your makeup routine.

The Best Dupes Ever?! Testing Australias #1 Makeup Brand MCoBeauty(Now In The U.S.!)

I used to have a lip gloss from another brand that did this as well. Okay, here is the finished. Look that you saw at the beginning of this video

Bronzing Drops

Let’s recap. I do like these bronzing drops and I do think that they are an excellent alternative to the drunk elephant. If this is the type of product that you like and you feel like, you would get usada perfect for adding a little bit of color to your face if you’re not going to put foundation on top of it, but in my opinion, putting foundation on top of it completely defeats the purpose or, as I said earlier, you could try mixing it in with your foundation.

Brow Laminate Sculpt and Set

The brow laminate sculpt and set is not my favorite. Just like the refi product is not my favorite. I’m, just not a fan of the white tint and I’m, not a fan of how large the applicator is. I, like tiny, tiny little applicators for my tinted, brow, gels and the brow gels I use just to set them in place. This is just way too long to me.

Mascara

The mascara, it’s okay. If I was going for an alternative to the Thrive tubing mascara, I would go for the Milani over this one.

Testing MCoBeauty Moisturizer

These are all very, very good. I could see myself using these two, the most I do like the moisturizer. I do feel like it felt really nice on my skin again was a little bit thicker than what I normally use, but when I compared it to the protini, the texture of the protini that I do have from drunk elephant, they do feel pretty similar. And I feel like its wearing nicely under my makeup.

Testing MCoBeauty Lip Tint

Oh and then I layered these two on my cheeks as well. I don’t love this as a lip tint. I would have preferred a little bit of a quicker dry down and a little bit more of a lasting power I’m used to benefit benitin. That just gives you an immediate stain that’s, not completely budge proof, but in my experience, seems to be more long lasting than this one.

Testing MCoBeauty Lip Lights

Speaking of lips, I do really like this lip lights. I like the little mirror and the light and the color and how sparkly it is. I do feel like I probably should have put a lipstick on underneath so there’s not such a contrast between the gloss and the liner, but I don’t think it looks bad.

Final Thoughts on MCoBeauty Products

So those are my thoughts on all the MCoBeauty products that were in my PR package. Well, almost all of them. I will continue to try out the remaining products over time here in Las Vegas. We have Smiths stores so the next time I’m there.

Exploring MCoBeauty Products

After watching the video and seeing the range of products from MCoBeauty, it piqued my curiosity to explore further. What other hidden gems could be waiting to be discovered? As of now, I find myself on the fence, unsure of my final . Some of the products showcased were truly exceptional, while others left me feeling indifferent. But, of course, beauty is subjective, and opinions may vary.

The Quality Debate

It’s fascinating how makeup enthusiasts can have differing opinions on the same products. The debate over the quality of MCoBeauty items seems to be ongoing. Some swear by the brand’s affordability and effectiveness, while others remain skeptical. The notion of finding the best dupes ever is truly subjective and highly dependent on individual preferences.

Personal Reflections

Watching the review video has made me contemplate my own makeup routine and product choices. Could MCoBeauty be the missing piece in my collection, or am I content with what I currently use? It’s a thought-provoking journey of self-discovery and experimentation in the world of cosmetics.

The accessibility of the brand through grocery store retailers makes it convenient to pick up beauty essentials while doing your regular shopping. This might have been the first and last PR package I ever get from MCO Beauty, but I don’t just like everything. I really really like the Charlotte Tilbury dupes, the Contour wand, the matte blush wand and the Highlight wand.

As the video concludes, I am left pondering the vast array of beauty products available in the market. The allure of discovering new dupes that rival high-end brands is undeniable. Whether MCoBeauty lives up to its reputation as Australia’s #1 makeup brand remains to be seen, but the intrigue and excitement surrounding its U.S. launch are palpable.
