Neutrogena Lip Oil

First up, let’s discuss the Neutrogena lip oil. This product has been making waves in the beauty community, and for good reason. The plush applicator feels incredibly luxurious, reminiscent of high-end brands like Clarence or Dior. The medium-weight formula glides on smoothly without any stickiness, leaving your lips looking flawless. It’s a hidden gem at the drugstore that can easily compete with luxury lip oils on the market.

LOreal Lumi Glotion

Next, let’s talk about the LOreal Lumi glotion primer. Available in shades like Fair Glow, this primer is a standout drugstore product that rivals high-end alternatives like the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. It provides a luminous base for your makeup, giving you a radiant glow that lasts all day. The smooth application and flawless finish make it a must-have for any makeup snob looking to elevate their routine.

The lightweight formula feels velvety smooth on the skin, providing long-lasting coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. It’s a high-quality foundation that will impress even the most discerning makeup snob.

Revlon ColorStay Crme Eyeshadow

When it comes to eyeshadow, the Revlon ColorStay Crme Eyeshadow is a game-changer. This drugstore gem offers rich, pigmented colors that glide on effortlessly and stay in place all day. The creamy formula blends seamlessly and can be layered for a more intense look. With a luxurious feel and long-lasting wear, this eyeshadow is a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their makeup collection without breaking the bank.

1. Glowy Primer from Krice

The glowy primer from Krice is a standout product that has been around long before the hype of other brands. Its pearlized finish sets it apart from the rest, offering a subtle and beautiful glow without any glitter or sparkle. This formula provides a dewy effect, akin to glass skin, without the unwanted shimmer that can accentuate skin texture. The added moisture in this primer not only plumps up the skin but also creates a healthy, radiant base for your foundation.

2. Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation

The Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation is a gem among drugstore foundations. Housed in a luxurious glass bottle, it exudes a high-end feel that is often missing in drugstore products. This foundation strikes the perfect balance between thin and thick, sheer and full coverage, matte and dewy. It caters to all preferences, offering a versatile option that suits a wide range of makeup looks.

3. Luxe Lipsticks from Lixies

Lixies offers a range of lipsticks that feel surprisingly high-end for their affordable price point. The creamy, pigmented formula glides on smoothly, delivering rich color payoff that rivals luxury brands. With a variety of shades to choose from, ranging from nude to bold hues, these lipsticks provide a luxurious feel without breaking the bank.

4. Velvet Matte Eyeshadows from Vixen

Vixen’s velvet matte eyeshadows are a must-have for any makeup snob. The velvety texture blends effortlessly on the lids, offering rich, opaque color in a single swipe. The matte finish adds a touch of sophistication to any eye look, making it perfect for both daytime and evening wear. These eyeshadows feel indulgent and high-end, despite their drugstore price tag.

5. Sculpt & Glow Contour Palette by Glameo

The Sculpt & Glow Contour Palette by Glameo is a standout product that offers a high-end sculpting and highlighting experience. The finely milled powders blend seamlessly on the skin, creating a natural-looking contour and glow. The palette includes a range of shades to suit various skin tones, allowing for effortless customization. This contour palette feels luxurious and expensive, yet remains affordable for all makeup enthusiasts.

Application Versatility

I usually apply this one with a sponge, but I’ve also used my fingers and a brush, and I feel like it looks equally as beautiful. No matter how you apply it, I think, with the brush, you just get a little bit more coverage with the sponge. You get a little bit less and that’s typically what I go for these days, but it just has the most perfect skin-like finish every time I wear this.

Foundation Love

I kind of find myself wondering why do I even try other foundations? I like this one so much, it’s five bucks, but I guess it’s kind of the nature of having a YouTube channel. If I didn’t, I would probably just use this one most of the time now. If you don’t have a Dollar General near you there’s no other way to get this product, unfortunately, it’s only sold in stores. But a few other kind of Goldilocks foundations that I also really love are the Ulta Complexion Crush. I think that one is also amazing. Again, it hits all of those points that I mentioned before. Same thing with the Revlon Illuminance Foundation; that’s another really good one that I’ve been loving this year. So those are just some alternatives in case you don’t have access to Believe Beauty.

Hopes for Online Availability

I keep hoping that they’re going to make this available to order online so that everyone could try it. I just want to show you a little bit closer how this is sitting on the skin.

Foundation: Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation

It is just so beautiful, I’ve tried so many other high-end foundations, and I use this one way more than those. I just love how it looks it’s so natural, yet it gives you really good coverage. I find that if I had to compare it to something, probably the House Labs Foundation comes the closest, except I find that the House Labs one has a little bit of shimmer there’s a little glow in there. When I put that one on, I can see a little bit more of my texture. I think the Believe Beauty one just is a little bit nicer on at least my skin.

Concealer: Catrice True Skin Concealer

So, moving on to concealer, I have one that I haven’t talked about in a while, but I continue to use it behind the scenes because it is so good. That’s the Catrice True Skin Concealer. This is a waterproof formula and it’s supposed to be full coverage. Those are two things that I always avoid when it comes to concealer because I have dry, mature skin. My experience with waterproof concealers has been that they usually end up making my skin look drier. When it comes to more full coverage formulas, I also feel like those can tend to look heavy under my eyes and can settle into fine lines and wrinkles. So why do I even like this? Honestly, it just defies all of the odds when it comes to the claims of this product.

The Perfect Concealer

You would think on paper that I would hate it, but its such a gorgeous smooth formula now granted. I dont put a lot of this on. I just put a little bit on the outer corner and kind of work: the excess back toward the middle. I find that most of my darkness is by the outer and inner Corners, so thats, where I tend to put the bulk of the concealer. So Im just going to put a little bit then on the inner corner and do the exact same thing and Im just going to start blending this back toward the middle again, and this has such incredible coverage that doesnt crease under my eyes. It doesnt settle into the fine lines it doesnt look dry or cakey its just super smooth.

High-End Quality at Drugstore Prices

I dont know how they did it, but Im the the last one thats going to question it Im just happy that this concealer is so good and that its so affordable. Again, I just want to zoom you in so you can see up close Okay, so this is the eye that I applied it to and I dont see any difference other than that this side has coverage, but as far as my skin, I dont feel, like my Fine lines under my eyes look any more prominent over here. It doesnt look dry, it doesnt. Even look like I put makeup anywhere under my eye. I mean it is that undetectable and it stays that way throughout the day, which is so great Im just going to do the other eye quick, I dont know if I mentioned the shade.

Neutral Ivory Foundation

This is number two neutral Ivory. I was using the cool cashmere shade and I like that, one too, that one has a really nice cool undertone. This one is more neutral and cool Kashmere is darker than this shade, but I find that it matches my skin tone really well. This one is, I think, a little bit light, but Im just going through my PR box. They had sent these to me probably over a year ago now and they sent me a bunch of different shades and once I used up cool cashmere, then I switched to warm Macadamia now Im using this one Im just trying to use them up, but I think The cool cashmere shade really matched me pretty well.

Moira Press Powder

Next, when it comes to powder, I dont always powder my face. I have really dry skin and I find that I dont need to set everything and my makeup still holds up pretty well throughout the day, but when I do want to use powder, I love the powders from Moira. This is the set and correct finishing powder, which is the Press version. They also have a loose version, thats, a really good dupe for the pr prism Libre from gansi, and they just came out with another loose powder that I think is supposed to be a dupe for Huda, Beauty, but either way, no matter which Moira powder you choose. They are all the most invisible powder, especially again, if you have really dry skin or you have mature skin and you feel, like powders, look very dry or they give your skin that powdery look and you dont want that.

Profusion Setting Powder Brush

Profusion brushes are hands down my favorite when it comes to drugstore options. They are closer to luxury than anything else I have tried from the drugstore. The flat setting powder brush from Profusion is incredibly soft, does not shed, and has an ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to hold. The slightly rubberized texture of the handle ensures a secure grip, unlike many other slippery makeup brushes on the market.

Invisible Setting Powder

The invisible setting powder from Profusion is like magic in a compact. It smooths away pores and gives your skin a matte finish without looking like you are wearing any makeup at all. When applied under the eyes, it creates an airbrushed effect that is absolutely flawless.

Wide Range of Options

Profusion offers a wide range of brush sets that cater to various makeup application needs. While some brush sets may be available at Walmart, it is recommended to check out the Profusion website for a wider selection. The affordability of these brushes, ranging from $4 to $5, makes them a must-have for makeup enthusiasts on a budget.

Profusion Makeup Brushes

Each of these brushes from Profusion are amazing in their own way, coming in a variety of shapes and sizes. One of my favorites is the setting powder brush designed specifically for under the eyes. The application is seamless and it gives a smooth finish without looking powdery or dry.

Round Tapered Powder Brush

The round tapered powder brush from Profusion is another great addition to your makeup brush collection. Its perfect size allows for precise application of powder on the face, like the cheeks. The soft bristles and tapered shape make it easy to use and it reminds me of the Flower Beauty blush brush that I love.

Inexpensive Beauty

What makes these Profusion brushes even more appealing is their affordability. You can easily purchase multiples of these brushes without breaking the bank. They provide high-quality results at a fraction of the cost of higher-end makeup brushes.

Bronzer Application

When it comes to bronzer, drugstore options can often feel lacking in quality. However, with the right tools like the Profusion brushes mentioned, you can achieve a rich and luxurious application that rivals high-end makeup products. These brushes prove that you don’t need to spend a fortune to achieve a flawless makeup look.

Infallible Freshwear Bronzer from L’Oreal

I couldn’t not talk about the Infallible Freshwear Bronzer from L’Oreal, because this one is such a luxurious, elegant formula. It’s hard for me to even describe it to you other than it’s one of the softest bronzers that I have ever tried high end drugstore. It doesn’t matter it has this unbelievably velvety feel that’s, so soft and when you blend it on your skin, it doesn’t look muddy. It is so seamless – and this shade Fair – has the perfect Rosy undertone for me.

Round Powder Brush from Profusion

So, I’m just going to pick this up on the round powder brush again from Profusion. This is a huge soft fluffy brush. It reminds me a lot of one that I have from Sigma. That costs a lot more money and it does an amazing job at applying bronzer powder, whatever you’re going to be putting all over your face. But as you guys can hopefully see this bronzer blends out to perfection, it warmed up this side of my face. Just a little bit it’s not over the top, it just gives that hint of glow.

High-End vs. Drugstore Products

In the past, I’ve received complaints from people arguing that drugstore products are not as good as high-end products. They claim that high-end formulas glide better on the skin and don’t look as obvious. While that might be true in some cases, I have also tried really expensive, high-end bronzers that look muddy. With so many good drugstore options out there these days, it’s all about finding the right products that work for you.

Drugstore Makeup That Feels RICH (Makeup Snob Approved!)

LOreal vs. Milani

I think what matters is just finding the formula that works for you, but it doesn’t have to cost a lot because there are definitely options another one. If you don’t like LOreal, I know they’re not cruelty-free. Another really great brand is Milani. They have their silky matte bronzer, which I like almost as much as this one. It has a really silky blendable texture and the shade two Sunkissed is another really great cool undertone.

Flower Beauty Blush: A High-End Feel

When it comes to blush, one of my absolute favorites, and I think it is such a high-end formula, is the Flower Beauty flower pots blush. These have been around for years and years, but I still reach for them, probably more than most of my other blushes. Not only is the formula super lightweight really really silky and blendable, but the colors that they chose for this line are so perfect. I love every single one of these. They just really nailed it and I wear them all and I think they all look really beautiful on my skin.

Today, I want to use the shade um Wild Rose. This is one of my favor that I reach for pretty often and I’m going to apply it with the round tapered powder brush from profusion. This is the one that I put powder all over my face with, but, like I said, I love using it for blush. I think it’s just a perfect size and shape for blush and as you’re applying this again, just like a really luxurious formula.

Blushing Beauties

When it comes to drugstore makeup that feels rich, you can’t go wrong with these blushes that just blend effortlessly onto the skin. The formula is absolutely beautiful, not overly pigmented, allowing you to build up the color as needed. The versatility of these blushes is what sets them apart and makes them a staple in any makeup collection.

Inspiring Makeup Moments

It’s amazing how a simple product can inspire a makeup journey. One subscriber’s comment about these drugstore blushes led to a makeup revelation. She was so impressed by the quality and beauty of the colors that it opened up a whole new world of drugstore makeup for her. It just goes to show that luxury doesn’t always come with a high price tag.

Eyeshadow Woes

While drugstore blushes may reign supreme, the same can’t always be said for eyeshadows. Many popular drugstore brands fall short in the eyeshadow department, lacking in pigmentation and formula quality. This is where exploring indie brands like Colourpop and Moira can lead to hidden gems with incredible formulas.

Moira Star Shadow Shadow Pots

This is from Moira and they’re the star shadow shadow pots. Oh my goodness, these are such a high-end formula. They rival any of the single eyeshadows that I pay a ton of money for and they are a fraction of the price. So, even though they come in pots, they are powder shadows, they’re kind of loosely packed into the jar, and these are some of the most shiny metallic shadows you ever seen. They’re incredible for making your eyes pop they’re great one-and-one shadows, which is what I usually use them for, and what I’m going to do today.

Easy Application

Rather than doing a complete eye look, I just like to pick up some on my finger, slick it on my lid, and I’m done. I think that’s kind of been the direction the trends are going lately. To be honest, I still do like doing those complicated looks sometimes, but more often than not, I’m just using something like this all over my lid and calling it a day.

Glitter Primer

Before I apply this, I’m just going to use a glitter primer. This is the one from Moira they actually just released this recently, but NYX actually has a really nice one too, that I’ve been using for years. I use glitter primer, even if I’m not wearing glitter, even if I’m just wearing a shimmer shade. It just helps things to really pop. It helps them to grip to your eyes and just stay put a lot longer. I’m going to be using the shade Checkmate today, which is a gorgeous pink.

Eye Makeup: Effortless Elegance

I really just like to apply these right with my finger and just kind of Pat them in this way, so right from inner corner all the way to the outer corner and then sometimes I’ll just take a blending brush. This is the Profusion large blending eyeshadow and I’ll just kind of blend the edge a little bit. It just helps to avoid any harsh edges along the top of the shadow and that’s it, just a beautiful wash of color and you’re done.

Glitter Primer Magic

So again, just going to apply glitter primer to this eye. I’ve tried other eyeshadows like this from high-end brands. I know Hourglass has one that’s kind of similar, but these Moira ones are just as impactful. They come in so many gorgeous colors and they couldn’t be easier to use. They are amazing.

Mascara Musings

When it comes to mascara, I think it’s such a hugely personal thing. It’s really hard for me to recommend formulas because I think we’re all looking for something a little bit different. Some people want length, some people want volume, some people have straight lashes and they’re looking for more of a curl. There are just so many different variables.

It’s really hard for me to sit here and recommend a mascara to the masses because you may not want the same things that I do. Personally, I have pretty thick lashes already so I’m really looking for length more than anything, and my lashes also have a little bit of natural curl to them.

Lengthening Mascara: L’Oreal Telescopic

When it comes to drugstore mascaras, the L’Oreal Telescopic has always been a favorite for those looking for lengthening effects. The original formula has been around for years, and many makeup enthusiasts swear by its ability to transform lashes. The tiny skinny brush allows for precise application, and the lengthening effect is truly remarkable. It almost feels like getting lash extensions every time you apply it, as the before and after pictures clearly show the dramatic difference.

Long-Lasting and Smudge-Proof

One of the standout features of the L’Oreal Telescopic mascara is its long-lasting formula. It stays put all day without smudging or flaking, making it perfect for those who need their makeup to last through long hours. The fact that it can provide such intense length without any clumping or smudging is a testament to its quality and performance.

Perfect Pout Lipstick: Flower Beauty

When it comes to lips, the Flower Beauty Perfect Pout Lipstick is a standout product that has gained a cult following. The creamy formula glides on smoothly, minimizing the appearance of lines on the lips. It strikes the perfect balance between a regular lipstick and a tinted lip balm, providing hydration and color payoff in one swipe. The lipstick fades evenly throughout the day, ensuring that you don’t have to constantly reapply.

Hydrating and Smooth Formula

One of the reasons why the Flower Beauty Perfect Pout Lipstick is a favorite among makeup lovers is its hydrating and smooth formula. The creamy texture feels luxurious on the lips, and the color payoff is impressive. Whether you’re looking for a subtle tint or a bold statement lip, this lipstick has got you covered. Plus, the hydrating properties ensure that your lips stay moisturized and comfortable throughout the day.

Flower Beauty Lipstick in Orchid: A Drugstore Gem

There’s something about the Flower Beauty lipstick formula that sets it apart from other drugstore options. The shade Orchid, in particular, is a bright and beautiful color that adds a pop of vibrancy to any makeup look. The texture is creamy and smooth, making it a dream to apply.

Application Tips for a Subtle Finish

When going for a brighter lipstick like Orchid, it’s important to apply it in a way that prevents it from looking too bold. One effective technique is to dab the lipstick onto the bottom lip and then press the lips together to distribute the color evenly. Lightly patting the lips afterwards helps to soften the hue for a more subtle effect.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks: A Great Alternative

If Flower Beauty products are not readily available in your area, the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks are an excellent alternative. Just like their higher-end counterpart, these lipsticks are creamy and luxurious to wear. With a wide range of beautiful shades to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect color for any occasion.

Final Look: Effortlessly Chic

After completing the makeup look with the Orchid lipstick and a few final touches, the result is a fresh and modern appearance that exudes confidence. The combination of subtle eye makeup and a bold lip creates a well-balanced look that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re heading out for a casual day or a special event, this makeup look is sure to turn heads.

Revolution Pro Ultimate Coverage Crease-Proof Concealer

Revolution Pro has truly outdone themselves with this crease-proof concealer. The formula is rich and creamy, providing flawless coverage that lasts all day. This drugstore gem feels like a high-end product, blending effortlessly and leaving a velvety finish.

Milani Baked Blush

Milani’s Baked Blush is a cult favorite for a reason. The luxurious formula glides on smoothly, imparting a beautiful flush of color to the cheeks. The pigmentation is intense, yet it blends seamlessly into the skin, giving a natural, radiant finish that rivals high-end brands.

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick

Maybelline’s SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick is a game-changer in the drugstore makeup world. The formula is rich and velvety, providing long-lasting, pigmented color that doesn’t budge. With a wide range of shades to choose from, this lipstick feels like a luxury product at a fraction of the cost.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation is a standout in the drugstore makeup aisle. The formula is lightweight yet provides full coverage, giving a matte finish that looks flawless all day long. This foundation feels luxurious on the skin, rivaling high-end brands in both performance and quality.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil

The NYX Micro Brow Pencil is a must-have for achieving perfectly sculpted brows. The ultra-fine tip allows for precise application, while the creamy formula blends effortlessly for a natural look. This drugstore gem feels like a high-end product, giving you brows that look professionally done without breaking the bank.
