Covergirl Eyeshadow Quad

The first item I want to mention is a Covergirl eyeshadow quad. I had never purchased one before because the price seemed a bit high and the color schemes didn’t stand out to me. However, I recently received one in my Walmart Beauty Box for spring, which only costs around 6 dollars. The quad in the shade cool berry was valued at around 10 dollars and I decided to give it a try. I’m wearing it on my eyes today, with the matte shade in my crease.

New Additions

Some of the items in this haul are restocks of products that I have loved enough to repurchase. It’s always interesting to hear about products that people keep going back to, and I thought it would be fun to share a few with you. These new additions include both makeup and skincare products that have become staples in my routine.

Skincare Essentials

One of the things I always make sure to restock on is my favorite skincare products. Having a good skincare routine is essential for maintaining healthy and glowing skin. In this haul, I picked up some of my go-to skincare essentials that I can’t live without. These products help keep my skin looking its best and I highly recommend them.

Random Goodies

Alongside the restocked items, I also picked up a few random goodies that caught my eye. Sometimes it’s fun to try out new products and see if they become new favorites. In this haul, you’ll find a mix of old favorites and new discoveries that I’m excited to incorporate into my beauty routine. From lip products to face masks, these random goodies add a bit of variety to my collection.

Drugstore Beauty Re-Stock Haul

I got this in the outer corner. This is the shimmer on the lid, so there’s like two different tones of shimmer, this ones a little warmer this ones a bit cooler anyway. I really like that. Little quad and I just thought: oh cool. That seems like a crazy good value, considering I’m getting other things in the box too.

Makeup Update

Also on my lip lip today, I’m wearing this superstay matte ink crayon. This is in the shade, um Chase dreams. I’ve got several Berry Shades and this is kind of the brighter pinky Berry and I’ve got a gloss on top that I will get to in a minute.

Random Goodies and Updates

Let’s see Ill start out with what I got from Walmart. I got a new e.l. holy hydration face cream, the fragrance-free version. I really like this face cream I’ve used it for a long time, as my nighttime face cream. Then here recently like I had experimented with some other things. I go into kind of an eczema situation, and I just kind of realized recently that this really is the right thickness and richness that I want to be putting on at night for a while.

Skincare Routine

There I’ve been using just the straight Rich vanishing cream moisturizing cream in the mornings. I’ve been using this stuff, the daily facial moisturizer, along with vanishing cream in certain areas, the actual Rich moisturizing cream, but at night I’ve been slathering on that cream everywhere, just because I knew it wasn’t going to cause sensitivity.

Elf Holy Hydration

However, I do think it’s a little bit rich for my skin, so I’m thinking. Elf Holy Hydration is kind of like the middle ground in between many creams, daily facial moisturizer, and their actual rich cream. This sort of sits in the middle, and this has always been good for my skin and it does have that fragrance-free option. It has hyaluronic acid. I think it is relatively rich; it’s just not as thick as regular many creams. Downstairs, I have a little makeup fridge, and the Holy Hydration that was in there is kind of dwindling, so I thought I’ll get another one of those.

EOS 24 Hour Moisture Shave Cream

I also picked up some of this EOS 24-hour moisture shave cream because, in the spirit of thinking about sensitive skin, sometimes my legs get irritated when I shave. My whole eczema situation a couple of months back caused me to rethink a lot of things that I was using and how fragrant some of it is. I had one of those Tree Hut shave oils, and it had a really strong scent. Occasionally, my legs would be irritated after I’d use it. So hopefully, this is more gentle. I’ve gotten along well with the EOS body lotion and stuff. I really like the EOS brand as a whole, but this seems like it should be extra moisturizing. I’m sure it’s going to have some scent, but I just feel a little more comfortable using that now.

Physicians Formula Butter Blowout Mascara Repurchase

I recently decided to repurchase the Physicians Formula butter blowout mascara after trying their butter bronzer in my last video. The mascara is a dark brown shade, which they call bronze, but to me, it appears more like a dark brown. I have been enjoying the goopy texture of the brush, which allows the product to build up quickly on my lashes. However, I have noticed that the black version of the mascara had a heavier application compared to the bronze one. Despite this, I still think my lashes look great with this mascara.

Scent and Application

One thing to note about the Physicians Formula butter blowout mascara is its strong scent, similar to the butter bronzer. The tropical fragrance may seem unusual for a mascara, but it doesn’t bother me personally. While I haven’t experienced any irritation or fumes from the scent, it’s essential to be aware of it before purchasing. Although the mascara doesn’t provide the same level of goopiness as the brush indicates, I still find it effective and like the overall result on my lashes.

Random Goodies and Updates

Aside from repurchasing the mascara, I also picked up a few random items while restocking my beauty products. The updates include trying out new skincare products and experimenting with different makeup looks. It’s always fun to explore and discover new beauty products that can enhance my routine. I enjoy sharing these finds and updates with my audience, as it allows me to connect and engage with others who have a similar passion for beauty and cosmetics.

Revisiting an Old Favorite

It probably sounds really unappealing like. Why would you want to use a goopy brush, but it makes it build up quicker to where I’m not like raking raking raking through my lashes and eventually dropping my curl. This seemed to hold the curl pretty well, I just wanted my mascara to be in Black.

Covergirl Lash Blast Amplify Primer

You know I might do a combination of the two start, building up with the other and then one top coat with this. Perhaps anyway, I got that another repurchase. For me, the Covergirl lash blast amplify primer. I remember really enjoying this lash primer and I’d run out of it, so I thought let’s try that out again and kind of see if I like it as well or better than this one from Essence.

Essence Volume Booster

This is the essence volume booster, it’s pretty good um, it’s not always reliable, with holding my curl in all situations. This video is going to have a lot of tangents guys. I tried the essence curl fixing lash base. A lot of you said now is that going to be like essence’s take on little black primer because, as you’ll see, it is black but guys. Sadly, I don’t feel like this did anything for my curl holding like I’m not impressed by that. But anyway, I am excited to get back into this and try it again. The brush in case you’re, wondering I mean it looks just like lash blast who’s out there still using lash blast consistently like the orange tube, but I remembered really enjoying that as a lash primer.

Facial Cleanser Repurchase

Recently, I got a few things from Walgreens, and as always, they had the best selection of skincare products. One item I repurchased is the gentle facial cleanser. I’m almost out of my current bottle, and I love using this as a face wash and to remove my makeup.

Suspicions About Olay Daily Facials Cleansing Cloths

After experiencing a sensitive skin flare-up, I became suspicious of the Olay daily facials cleansing cloths that I had been using. I wondered if the formula was too harsh for my skin and if it was stripping away too much. So, I decided to make a change.

New Makeup Removal Routine

Following my skin concerns, I switched to using a fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested, sensitive skin-friendly vanity cream. This cream is free of dyes, fragrance masking, lanolin, parabens, and formaldehyde releasers. It is also non-comedogenic, gluten-free, and accepted by the National Eczema Foundation.

Since making this switch, I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. Every night, I gently massage the vanity cream onto my face to remove makeup, and my skin feels much better.

Drugstore Beauty Re-Stock Haul

I recently went on a little shopping spree to re-stock my beauty essentials from the drugstore, and I must say, I am quite pleased with my finds. One product that I always make sure to have on hand is a good makeup remover. I came across a mini makeup eraser that intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try.

Mini Makeup Erasers

I rub it around all over my face and then I use some water to further get rid of everything, and then I have a little stash of like the mini makeup erasers. These mini makeup erasers are like a 7 Day supply, and they claim to remove makeup with no added soap. However, I’m maybe a little skeptical about that, as I wear a lot of makeup.

Benefit of Mini Makeup Erasers

The benefit of those to me is that they’re super duper soft, way softer than a regular washcloth would be. So I just wet that down at the tail end of my face washing routine, and usually it’s really good about getting any mascara or eye makeup off. The little makeup eraser is so soft on the skin and does not irritate my eyes at all.

Generic Makeup Erasers

You can even get generic ones at places like TJ Maxx that are just as good. You can get a 10 pack of them, so it’s quite cost-effective. I recommend getting one of those big packs so you can use one every night to fully finish the job. It’s a little thing you might not think about, but I noticed a huge difference when I switched to using mini makeup erasers.

Updates

Overall, my drugstore beauty re-stock haul was a success, and I’m excited to try out my new goodies. I always love finding affordable beauty products that work just as well as high-end brands. It’s amazing what you can find at the drugstore if you’re willing to do a little digging!

Re-stocking on Skincare Essentials

My skin has been in really nice shape lately, so I decided to re-stock on some essentials. I ordered the VY cream face wash from Walgreens via Instacart as I wanted to have more of it on hand.

Rediscovering Lasting Finish Foundation

While browsing through Walgreens, I stumbled upon Lasting Finish Foundation, which seemed to be exclusive to the store. This foundation brought back memories of the earliest days of my channel, when it used to come in a squeeze tube with a brownish maroon cap. The shade I used to wear was soft beige.

A Blast from the Past

Over the years, the packaging of the foundation has undergone makeovers, and now it comes with a pump. It boasts of 24-hour hydration boost and SPF 20. Feeling nostalgic, I decided to repurchase it and give it a try after all these years. I wore it today and my skin looks beautiful with what seems like approaching full coverage. The foundation blended out smoothly, just like the classic W Foundation consistency that I remember.

Excited to Test Out the Wear

I am excited to see if this foundation will wear as well as it used to on me. I recall the staying power of this product being unbeatable. It’s a reliable classic that I’m glad to have back in my collection. Here’s to hoping it lives up to its reputation!

Drugstore Beauty Re-Stock Haul

After trying out various long-wearing foundations, I found that Maybelline Super Stay and Revlon Color Stay were among my top choices. However, it seems that Rimmel, once a popular brand, doesn’t get as much attention these days. Nevertheless, I decided to give their Stay Glossy lip gloss a try. The shade I picked up is called Madam Web, which apparently ties in with a movie I’ve never heard of. It’s a shimmery pink that adds a subtle touch to my lip color without being too overpowering. Although I appreciate the non-sticky and comfortable feel of the formula, I don’t think this particular shade does much for me. Perhaps it was a replacement for another shade I had initially chosen, but I’m willing to experiment with it.

Random Goodies & Updates

As I was exploring the beauty aisle, I also stumbled upon a few random goodies that caught my eye. One of them was the Rimmel Stay Glossy lip gloss, which I mentioned earlier. Despite not being entirely thrilled with the shade, I do appreciate the quality of the formula. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel slippery on the lips, which is a major plus for me.

Now, on to some updates. It seems that while I was engrossed in my beauty haul, my furry friend Bunny was up to some mischief. I had no idea she was lurking around, playing hide-and-seek. Bunny’s antics never fail to surprise me, and I can’t help but chuckle at her playful nature. It’s moments like these that add a touch of joy to my day.

Kiss Lash Glue with Oat Extract

This is from Kiss. I wanted to try a different lash glue, just to test the waters. I’m happy with my ioni that I get from Dollar Tree. But I was just intrigued by the claims here because it said with soothing oat extract – and I thought, is this going to be like an extra good lash glue for the lash line? It talks about how oat is a great skin soothing and calming ingredient that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It says when used in adhesive, it can neutralize the pH of dry skin without compromising the adhesiveness. So again, this is from Kiss. I really have gotten along well with Kiss lashes over the years and other Kiss glues, so I just thought I’d try this out. This does not have a wand applicator, it’s just a squeeze tube. The packaging actually looked different online and they made a big deal of the oat thing and it just caught my eye. I thought I’d try it, that’s my little small haul, of mostly repurchased things.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation

Some things repurchased after a really long time. Who’s been staying with this? I’m not saying the last time I had Rimmel Lasting Finish was just at the start of my channel. I know it went through some changes that I sort of kept up with, but it’s just been a long time since I’ve owned this. It’s still definitely been years, and I think it looks beautiful on the skin today.

Drugstore Beauty Re-Stock Haul

After watching numerous YouTube tutorials and reading countless beauty blogs, I decided it was time to restock my beauty supplies from the drugstore. I made a list of all the essential items I needed, from foundation to mascara to lip balm, and headed to my favorite beauty store.

New Makeup Finds

As I wandered the aisles of the drugstore, I couldn’t help but pick up a few new makeup items that caught my eye. A stunning eyeshadow palette in warm, earthy tones, a creamy blush stick in a pretty rose shade, and a shimmery highlighter that promised to give me that perfect glow.

Skincare Essentials

Along with makeup, I also restocked my skincare essentials. I picked up a gentle cleanser for my sensitive skin, a hydrating moisturizer with SPF for sun protection, and a soothing face mask for those pamper nights at home. Taking care of my skin is just as important as applying makeup, and I wanted to make sure I had all the right products.

Random Goodies

Of course, no beauty haul is complete without a few random goodies thrown in. I couldn’t resist picking up a new set of makeup brushes, a refreshing facial mist for a mid-day pick-me-up, and a cute hair accessory to add a touch of flair to my everyday look.

Beauty Updates

Before wrapping up this haul, I wanted to share a few beauty updates with you all. I’ve been experimenting with a new makeup technique I learned online, trying out bold lip colors that I never thought I could pull off, and embracing my natural hair texture more often. Beauty is all about trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone, and I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you.

Overall, this drugstore beauty re-stock haul included a mix of old favorites and new additions to my collection. It’s always satisfying to replenish products that I love and to try out new items that catch my interest. Whether it’s a classic eyeshadow quad or a random beauty goodie, each item in this haul adds something unique to my beauty routine. I can’t wait to see how these products enhance my makeup and skincare regimen in the days to come.

My recent drugstore beauty re-stock haul included repurchasing the Physicians Formula butter blowout mascara, which I have been enjoying for its buildable texture. Despite the strong scent, the mascara provides a flattering look to my lashes, albeit taking a bit longer to build up compared to the black version. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and excited to continue exploring more beauty products and updates in the future.
