Shade Range Woes

Yall know I love a nice glow now. One thing about this: I have this in shade nude. This was the only shade that they had at my Dollar Tree of this um. Depending on your Dollar Tree. Everyone can have different options. I would hope that they offer more shades in this, and mine was just like sold out or whatever, but this was the only color option that I had and I think that I will be able to make it work for me so that’s. One thing that does upset me about Dollar Tree is a lot of times. The shade ranges are just incredibly limited, sometimes I’ve seen them not be too bad, but this one was definitely very, very limited um.

Product Claims and Pricing

It does say this is paraben free, sulfate, free fet, 3 crueltyfree and vegan lots of claims again for 125, so let’s try it. I did also get this little pack of sponges. How cute are they they’re little hearts? So it was a three pack and everything that I got to was 125. I know Dollar Tree now does have some stuff that’s over 125. I think they have some things that are like 3, some things that are 5, but all this stuff was the cheapest options. At a1 25, so you did get three of these little heart sponges.

Testing the Products

So this is what it looks like figured. We could try this for blending. It actually feels pretty soft I’m going to go dampen.

Foundation Application

It though, and see if it like, expands at all cuz. I normally like to use my beauty blenders like a little bit wet so Ill, be right back all right, sponge actually expanded quite a bit here. It is next to a dry one. So definitely I would say to dampen it now lets go in with this Foundation. Going to just squeeze some on, I am breaking out like crazy right now, like my jawline is not happy with me. I dont know because the beginning of my pregnancy, my skin, was like so good. I was shocked, cuz, obviously theres a lot of like acne products and retinols and stuff that you cant use when youre pregnant. So I thought my skin would be really bad and it was good in the beginning, but this week its not happy with me but thats.

Blending Technique

All right, okay, this is very, very soft sponge I kind of like, was not sure how to use it so Im kind of just using the side cuz. The heart is such a cute shape, but its kind of an awkward shape cuz were so used to, like those kind of rounded Beauty, blender type shapes one thing that I will say is I. This Foundation has kind of a strange scent. It kind of smells like sunscreen, but I dont think there is sunscreen in this, which is a little weird, but it reminds me of sunscreen um the scent it does give a pretty glow to the skin, though I would say its like a light to medium coverage.

Foundation Review

Definitely not giving full, but that covered up a lot of my redness and kind of helped to even out my skin tone. I dont hate this whatsoever at all. I would say the only thing that I dont love about is just the scent is like a little unpleasant like it. Doesnt have an amazing scent to it, but I like the way that it looks and feels on the skin, feels hydrating gives a slight glow, but its nothing too crazy. I actually really like it, and I think that it looks nice and this little sponge is actually really nice. Once you get the hang of like how to hold it best, its super soft and Blended everything out really easily. So I like that.

Concealer Application

All right they did not have a concealer, so Im just going to go in with a drugstore concealer, real, quick underneath these eyes, because unfortunately, my Dollar Tree did not have one so Im just going to pop a little something on there and Blend it out, oh, you know what I should probably use. The pointed tip of this to blend out. My concealer thatll probably make more sense a little point at the bottom. Oh yeah fits in good for concealer.

Blush Choice

Now for blush. They have this really pretty one. This is from the brand stari, which I dont think Ive ever tried any products from them from Dollar Tree before this is their precious mineral lightweight blush. The shade is Natural Glow and its like a pretty Berry shade.

Blushing Beauties

I did go ahead and Swatch it and it looked really really beautiful, so Im going to go in and pop this on my cheeks ooh, okay pigmented I got to blend. I always end up going in with like so much product and Im like Kelly. Its super pigmented, why are you using so much product? But you know you don’t know that when it’s your first time trying so don’t do what I do go in with a little bit and build it up.

Highlighting Happiness

Cuz now I’m struggling to try and blend it out, but I love an over blushing moment, so it’s okay, pretty shade, though I like the shade love a nice Berry color. Alright, I think I got it Blended out, brought a little bit of life back into the face. I like this now, I do have a highlight too, that I’m excited to try. This is from LA Colors, which they’re one of my favorite brands at Dollar Tree. They typically have a lot of their products there and I typically really like their stuff.

Glowing Gold

So this is their highlighter too cheeky highlighter. The shade that I have is Enchanted. They had a couple different shades in this. I kind of went with this like champagne, sort of gold. I’m just going to tap it on the cheeks like that and then tap it in with my finger and see ooh. Giving a glow and that’s Blended out quite easily actually that’s very pretty and gives a really beautiful glow all right.

Trying Out Liquid Highlighter

I like it. Im done with it. I dont always love liquid highlighters. Im more of a powder highlight girl, but as long as it blends easy, Im down with a liquid highlight. You know the ones that dont blend, those are the ones that give me like AGA, I dont think thats probably the right word to describe that, but thats what my brain is coming up with right now. This gives like a nice little subtle glow. I actually really like that. Im going to do a little bit on the nose too and just tap it down there. I like this a lot, very, very pretty.

Eyeshadow Quad Exploration

Now we have this cute little eyeshadow quad from the brand make me up. I think Ive tried a few products from them from Dollar Tree. I think theyre like newer to Dollar Tree within the past year or so. This is their eyeshadow palette. They have this in a couple of different colorways. I went with this one. Im not sure if it has a name, but its kind of like a warm tone neutral. You get four different shadows. I was thinking that the shadows were all matte because they kind of look like that from far away. When you really look at them up close, they have a little bit of a sheen to each of them, so well see how it works.

Lovely Lipstick Application

Next up, we have this pretty lipstick in a gorgeous shade. I always love a good lipstick find at Dollar Tree. This one seems to have a nice creamy texture and the color payoff looks great. Lets see how it applies on the lips. It glides on smoothly and the color is beautiful. It feels comfortable and hydrating on the lips, definitely a win for just $1.

Finishing Touch with Setting Spray

To set everything in place and make sure the makeup lasts longer, Im going to use this setting spray. Its always important to lock in your makeup, especially when using affordable products. This setting spray has a nice mist and feels refreshing on the skin. It helps to blend everything together and gives a nice finish to the overall look. Plus, its so affordable which is always a bonus.

Final Thoughts on Dollar Tree Makeup

Overall, trying out this full face of Dollar Tree makeup has been quite an interesting experience. Its amazing to see the quality of products you can find for just $1.25 each. From the liquid highlighter to the eyeshadow quad, lipstick, and setting spray, each product has its own charm and performs surprisingly well. It goes to show that you dont always have to break the bank to achieve a beautiful makeup look. Dollar Tree makeup can definitely be a great option for those on a budget or looking to experiment with different products. Im impressed with how everything turned out and Ill definitely be reaching for these products again in the future.

Creating a Summer Sunset Look

Al together, Im going to go in with this like salmon type color, first and Im, going to just buff that in the crease okay, getting a nice pigment from that. This is giving me like summer Sunset Vibes which, which I love. I cant wait for the warm weather today we have like full sun and its like 50 and Im like spring is here baby, which I know like some other places. 50 might seem cold for me, Im like wheres my shorts wheres. My tank tops like I need to be out in the sun.

Weather Quirks in New Jersey

New Jersey can be so weird in March. It can be like freezing cold and dump like 20 Ines of snow, or we can get like pretty sunny somewhat warm days like today. Like you just you. Never know what youre going to get, but these warmer kind of sunny days make me so happy all right.

Matte Finish Eye Makeup

This is actually buring out pretty well, I would say once applied to the eye, looks matte like when you look at it up close. You can see a little bit of a Sheen to it, but it doesnt really translate when its on the eyes, and it gives mostly a matte finish. I would say going to just bring this color up a little higher on top of the crease Im, not adding any more color, just kind of buffing and blending with whats left on my brush.

Intensifying the Eye Look

Now Im going to go in with this burnt kind of red, shade up here same brush and Im just going to deepen up the crease with that these Shadows actually work quite ni.

Dollar Tree Makeup Tutorial: Eyeshadow

When it comes to Dollar Tree makeup, the eyeshadow is often a make-or-break product. However, in this tutorial by Kelly Strack, the eyeshadows seem to be surprisingly impressive. For the outer corner of the eye, Kelly uses a brown shade to add depth to the look. Although this shade may appear lighter in the pan, it still provides a decent amount of pigment when applied. To open up the eye, Kelly applies a lighter shade to the front half of the lid. This technique helps to brighten and define the eye area. Additionally, she adds this shade to the inner corner and beneath the brow bone for a clean, polished finish.

Mascara Drama

Okay, now for mascara, I have this. One Ive tried a couple things from this brand before this is Le. Mercier, I believe, is how you would pronounce that um. I think its like a French brand, but they have it at Dollar. Tree Ive tried a couple products from them that Ive liked. So this is their volumizing mascara and it is in the shade midnight black now. One of my favorite things to buy at Dollar Tree are their lashes, so I did buy some lashes. Oh, this looks pretty pretty good has a little like figure. Eight8 shaped wand um, but I did get some lashes to the Dollar Tree so were going to do lashes too, but we got to we got to coat that mascara first on these lashes, so lets go in and see how it works. Definitely a drier kind of stickier formula which sometimes volumizing mascaras can be, and I dont mind that actually I would prefer a drier formula than something thats like super liquidy when it comes to my mascara, but this ones almost a little too dry like I wish it Had a little more liquid, I guess to it whats the word Im looking for, I dont know: um, like fluidity, no, I dont know, but its kind of like almost hard to coat my lashes with this um and its like clumping up a lot in the bottle. If you can see like at the top like when I put this in to get more kind of clumps up there, just a little too dry for my liking, so I dont know that I love this.

Clumpy Mascara Dilemma

I feel like this would get super clumpy like even right. There super quickly, like just for me, to try and coat my lashes with it, its getting really clumpy so Im going to stop with it before it gets too much this. Unfortunately, I dont really like no this one. It would be a note for me on the mascara, unfortunately, but these lashes might be able to save the day lets see.

Hidden Gems at Dollar Tree

So this is one of my favorite brands at Dollar Tree. They make really nice lashes again for 1.25. I feel like we would see these lashes somewhere else for, like 12-13 bucks, a pop. These are the wispy long flairs. They normally have tons of ioni lashes, tons of different styles, um, to choose from at Dollar Tree. They normally have a lot of these lashes there so good place to check out if you’re looking for some lashes.

Lash Glue Liner Magic

Now to glue them down. I got the I onlyi. This is the two-in-one Everlasting lash glue liner. I love lash glue liners they’re so good um, so this is basically an eyeliner and a lash glue, All-in-one. So we will use this to stick these lashes down.

Application Technique

First Im going to go in with the Lash glue liner and just do a nice thin line on my upper lash line so that we can go ahead and stick the lashes to it and then Im going to go in and just pop.

The Lashes

The lashes on get everything stuck down ooh. I actually really like these. These are bold, Ive been so boring with my lashes recently. I used to wear big, bold lashes all the time, but I havent done so recently. However, I feel like these look really nice. They are bold but still very wispy, so they dont look super overwhelming. I actually find them really flattering. I like those a lot.

The Eyeliner

The eyeliner worked really easily, very pigmented and was easy to apply and get that line. Let me go in and do the other eye now and pop on the lash. Okay, I actually really like these. I feel like the eyes came out really nice overall, aside from the mascara, not being my favorite. The lashes, the eyeshadow, it all kind of vibes together and the eyeliner. This is definitely like a spring-summer kind of eye that I would totally wear.

The Lip Products

Now, last but not least, I have a couple of different lippies that I want to try. They have this cute little two-pack of tinted lip oils from the B color brand. This is interesting as the brand of the foundation is B pure, and this is B color. I think they are associated, but I guess this is their clean beauty brand and this is just the color.

Exploring Lip Oils

I don’t want to say not clean, but you know what I mean. So you get these two little lip oils are supposed to be tinted. I’m going to try the more nude shade and go in and see, not giving a lot of color, obviously. It smells like chocolate which is a bit intense for me. I prefer the scent of real chocolate, not this fake chocolate smell. However, the lip oil feels very nourishing and hydrating on my lips, which is a plus. But the scent might be a deal-breaker for me.

Comparing Scents

I’m interested to see if this other color smells the same, or if this just smells like chocolate because it’s more of a brown shade. Oh, no, this one is completely different and really pleasant. This one is sweeter, maybe like vanilla. So, it’s just the scent of the brown lip oil that I don’t love, but the feel on my lips isn’t bad. However, the smell might deter me from using it again.

Trying the Nude Glow Lipstick

Next, I have this nude glow lipstick from LA Colors. It’s supposed to be a pretty nude matte shade, which it is. Does this one have a chocolate smell too? Let’s find out.

Chocolate and Vanilla Mix Lipstick

This ones also kind of smells like chocolate, but its a different. This ones like better than the other one I feel like. I just dont love chocolate, scented things, this ones better, its like chocolate and vanilla mix. This Glides on the lips really really nicely like the color super pigmented and kind of gives like a matte satin look but doesnt feel like that at all on the lips. It does not feel at all drying, or anything like that, so I do like this, and this is totally a color that I would wear. Typically, if you see them at your Dollar Tree typically theyre, always a good bet, like their products, are normally pretty good. I like this lipstick would definitely use it again.

LOreal Liquid Lipstick

I do want to try the last product that I found, which is this LOreal liquid lipstick. I was really surprised when I saw this. I was like Wow LOreal, like typically dont, see them a lot at Dollar Tree, but they did have these liquid lipsticks. I got this in the shade radiate feel like this is actually going to go perfectly with our eyes. I believe these are matte like they dry down to be matte, but lets see going to go in and coat. The lips definitely has a nice pigment. It goes on feeling super hydrating Im thinking its going to dry down. This shade for summer is definitely a shade that I would wear.

Exploring the Lip Color Rouge

I love like a bright kind of orangey Coral in the summer. I don’t know if I said the legit name, but this is the lip color Rouge. It says on here from LOreal. I remember these when these came out. I feel like they’re not even really that old they didn’t come out that long ago, from LOreal. Okay, I’m going to let it dry down fully. It does feel like it is drying and turning a little bit more matte.

Texture and Feel of the Lip Color

Okay, it’s dried down. It actually does not feel like drying, though, to the lips, which I actually really like and again. This would totally be a color that I would wear come spring and summer. So glad that I have it and yeah I mean I feel like.

Overall Product Review

Overall, we actually got some really good products. The only product that I like 1000 would not recommend commend was the mascara just did not really like that. Everything else, I think, was pretty dang good and worked really really well and again was affordable, which we love so yeah.

Overall, the Dollar Tree makeup items may come at a low price point, but the limited shade range and quality may be a concern for some users. However, with a little creativity and experimentation, it is possible to make these products work for you. Whether you’re on a budget or just looking to try something new, the Dollar Tree makeup products can be a fun and affordable addition to your beauty routine.
