Exploring Rare Beauty Products

It has always been a dream of mine to create a makeup look using only rare beauty products. I have been following Selena Gomez for a long time and her dedication to creating high-quality beauty products is truly inspiring. So, when I finally got my hands on some rare beauty products, I couldn’t wait to dive in and start experimenting.

Starting with Optimus Poror Diffusing Primer

The first product I tried was the Optimus Poror Diffusing Primer. The packaging was absolutely adorable, and I couldn’t help but be excited to see how it would perform on my skin. I usually don’t wear primer, but for the sake of this video, I decided to give it a go. The texture was different from what I was used to, not as sticky as my usual primer, but it felt smooth and lightweight on my skin.

Experimenting with Rare Beauty Foundation

Next, I moved on to the Rare Beauty foundation. I opted for a shade that matched my skin tone perfectly, and I was impressed by how easily it blended in. The finish was natural and dewy, just the way I like it. It felt like a second skin, lightweight and breathable. I could see why Selena Gomez puts so much effort into creating products that enhance natural beauty.

Enhancing my Eyes with Rare Beauty Eyeshadow

For my eyeshadow look, I used a palette from Rare Beauty that had the perfect mix of neutral and shimmery shades. The pigmentation was incredible, and the shadows blended like a dream. I created a simple yet elegant look that complemented the rest of my makeup perfectly. I was starting to feel like a true rare beauty ambassador.

Finishing Touches with Rare Beauty Lipstick

To complete my look, I reached for a Rare Beauty lipstick in a stunning shade of pink. The lipstick glided on smoothly and had a moisturizing finish that lasted for hours. I felt confident and beautiful, knowing that I was wearing products that not only looked good but also felt good on my skin.

Trying out the Rare Beauty Moisturizer

This is definitely a lot more like a moisturizer I’m probably going to need some more of this. Then this claims to be pore diffusing. I definitely have a lot of visible pores right here in my T Zone area, so I’m going to zoom in and see if I can see them in a second Moment of Truth are my pores nice and minimized.

The Final

Oh wait, final . What’s the thing to have in a court where it’s like the gavel? I need a gavel right now. But final . I honestly think my pores are a little bit smaller. Okay, Selena. I see you. See how this layer is underneath the rest of the makeup, but so far so good.

The Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer

This is the Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer, and I got it in the shade 30n. What was interesting about this to me is that it contains 20 SPF. Most people would usually go in with like a foundation, but I don’t ever wear a foundation, so I chose to get this, and I knew that if I bought a foundation for this, I would never wear it.

The Application Process

I bought this when I was significantly tanner than I am now, so I do think the packaging of this is really cool. It has like a little squirt lid. I don’t know what this is called. Okay, it’s a little bit orange, we’ll see. I actually don’t know how much I need, it doesn’t say use a brush, so I just want to use my fingers.

Okay, thats orange yeah. Oh I put way too much on oh, no. Okay. A little bit of this definitely does go a long way. I got the 30 in which is 30 neutral and for being neutral. I feel this definitely does lean a lot more warm. So keep that in mind. If youre going to buy this, I need to wipe the extra off my for it cuz. As you can see, theres a lot Im really curious to see how this sits on top of texture.

Choosing the Right Shades

I think if I had to repurchase this, I would repurchase this in a cooler shade. Im, typically someone who tends to be very warm toned. Naturally, like my skin, if you look at me besided my friends, I feel like I always like, yellow in pictures or like orange, considering that and this being neutral and being orange on me final , I like it, I think its good and it did kind of Help to cover up some of my redness too.

Under Eye Brightener and Concealer

This is the rare beauty under eye brightener, and then I also have the concealer. This is definitely more of, like my lighter concealer shade. That makes sense. I got this in the shade 190 and this is in the shade medium. If I were to repurchase this in my winter shade it be a light medium, so I think Im going to go with the eyebr ER first and then use the concealer on top lets.

Go in and blend this and see what its giving. I haven’t used this in a while, so I’m interested to see if it’s the way I remember it. Well, they actually provide a lot more coverage than I thought. Wait, did I just rediscover something about this right now?

Tinted Moisturizer Magic

Paired with the tinted moisturizer is really like ready. Watch out for Selena because that’s literally too good. I’m go the sun’s coming through. Okay, that’s the best I can do to fix the stripes. You’re going to have to deal with the stripes, unfortunately, so impressed. I barely need concealer.

Concealer Conundrum

Now I’m going to go with the concealer to touch up my acne spots. I’m really interested to see if this formula is like. I’ve never really heard anyone talk much about this concealer. So before I bought it, I was going to look and see what shade I needed. I was looking up reviews of the concealer and the reviews were very mixed. But as of right now, my favorite concealer is the Nars one. So we’ll see how this compares to the Nars.

The first thing, though, off the bat that I’ve noticed is the brush is really big and the brush is also kind of slanted, which is interesting. So I’m interested to see this is leaning way less warm than the skin tint de. And yeah, I’m just going to put a little bit of concealer to cover up all my spots.

First Impressions

I dont like the applicator on this. I think its really like boxy and hard and like slanted shape, while its good for getting into like my under eyes its really hard to get like Precision that looks good here, like my side of my face, youre like a bigger applicator. This might be for you, but for me not so much

Application Process

Im just going to oh yeah thats, definitely providing some coverage; okay, good. Im going to use my beauty blender and just blend out this bad habit of making assumptions, and then them not being right. Okay, yeah, that does blend very well. Also little tip if you blend out blemishes. What I like to do is I like to use my finger and then very lightly, generally move the area around with the beauty blender and I feel like it works really well. The coverage is very, like average, I feel like, although I will say its not sitting very cakey on it, which is nice.

Under Eye Brightening

Okay, now Im going to blow my under eyes out, well see what that does the under eye brightener doesnt crease much at all for me. So thats like good but lets see if the concealer creases, I would say, theres – definitely a little bit of creasing but nothing, nothing crazy, good concealer!

Rare Beauty Blush

Oh my gosh, the stripes are coming in now. Next up is maybe the most viral rare beauty product, the rare Beauty blush. I actually have two different shades of the blush.

One is more of a darker pink and one is more of like a baby pink. This is their most Shade. Thats is happy, and then this is the shade worth, which is my personal favorite. This shade, I kid you not. I had a choke hold on me worth. I bought the happy shade with my own money and I got some worth and PR – and I kid you not – I used the worth blush religious ly daily, for so many months like it was actually insane. Probably 6 months have me used this blush, and it literally looks like Ive, never even touched it, although I do have a bone to pick with these blushes is that they dont have a good seal like look at that. It spills out everywhere its like all over the product which is kind of disgusting, but my pink one doesnt do that as much. I dont know if its, because I havent used it as much or like what I I think this one does actually have like a good Sofer seal situation, which is weird.

A Tough Decision

I cant decide what shade I want to use. I think Im feeling happy today, cuz, like the more viral iconic shade. These blushes have been gone so viral, so many times were having so much pigment just got on my hand, thats, really cute. Okay, I just finished washing out my blush brush for you now I can get a full honest review on how I good this blush Blends, although I will say its a lot less pigmented than I remembered Im going to do a lot more.

I almost feel like its kind of sinking into the skin ton. Yeah like. Why do I feel like thats, not giving pigment? Am I going crazy? I dont think Im going crazy, but I feel like thats like not giving Im going to go with some more worth now then I feel like the shades more pigmented anyways.

The Enchanting Highlighter

I wish how pretty this highlighter is. This is the rare Beauty highlighter in the shade enchant. Also shes, literally huge, like this highlighter, is huge in comparison to the blushes were matching were Lally twinning hello. I got this highlighter about a year ago. Its really pretty. This is like the pinky kind of shade, which I think is nice Ive, never really own a pinky highlighter, but I do like this one.

The Blush Phase

Ill, be the first to say. While these are really really good blushes, I feel like theyre a little overrated moving on to the next product. When I was in my rare Beauty, blush phase. I was also in my rare Beauty. Highlighter phase, I will say this – does look really really pretty if you mix it in with your blush, when youre putting your blush on so you have like glowy blush. I feel, like everyone always just talks about the little like compact highlighter. I almost bought it, but then I remembered how good this one is like.

As I delve into the world of Rare Beauty makeup products, I find myself intrigued by the liquid blush that seems to be rarely discussed. Despite its lack of popularity in beauty circles, I cannot deny the allure of its pretty packaging. However, I encountered a minor setback when the blush inadvertently removed some of my concealer, resulting in an unexpected yet appealing glow.

The Radiant RAR Beauty Bronzer

Moving on to the RAR Beauty bronzer in the shade bright side, I am pleasantly surprised by its quality. Upon application, I am reminded of its ability to glide on smoothly, almost like a dream. The generous amount of product provided by Selena Gomez’s brand ensures that this bronzer will last a lifetime. Using a smaller brush to apply the bronzer enables me to easily chisel out my jawline, a technique that surprisingly enhances my overall look.

The Hidden Gems for Eyebrows

Transitioning to my eyebrows, I discover two overlooked products from Rare Beauty. The brow pencil, known as Brow Harmony Precision pencil in deep brown, offers precision and ease of application. Despite having naturally full eyebrows, I am impressed by the subtle yet defining effect of this product. In contrast, the brow gel from Rare Beauty remains a well-kept secret in the beauty community. While applying the brow gel in conjunction with the brow pencil, I find that it adds an extra layer of definition to my brows, creating a polished finish.

Okay, I don’t actually know what I’m doing with this. I like James Charles now, to be honest. I don’t actually know what I’m doing, like I said, with this, so don’t make fun of me. Hold up, hold up. I need to give you a little Spot. The Difference. I’m sending this other one to make the match, at least. Ew, that one’s awful. Ew. Never ever let me have an eyebrow pencil. This is always my uglier eyebrow, so I understand that this one’s going to be uglier, but like not that ugly, James Charles in the Flesh and the blood right here like. Why is this surfacing, James? I’m on my way to book my eyebrow waxing appointment after this, because what is this?

Experimenting with Eyebrow Products

Okay, actually, my phoneno, it’s bad. It’s bad. Anyways, now we’re going to get on with this, which I do actually like. I do think this is a good product. It’s just an operator error. This product will keep your eyebrows in place literally all day. Look at that. It’s literally so easy. It takes like 2 minutes to do brows are nice and sculpted. I’m really not doing this Justice because of how bad they look, but so good, Chef.

Setting Everything in Place

Okay, now I’m going to go in with some setting spray to set this all in place. This is her, always an optimist, setting spray. I believe I’ve tried this once maybe. Let’s give it a shot and see if this givesoh, okay, that was aggressively sprayed.

Radiant Setting Powder

It smells like you’re rich, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s not my favorite scent. My face does look pretty radiant after using this product, so I’m not entirely sure if it’s meant to be radiant or matte. This is the always an Optimus soft Radiance setting powder in the shade Light. The packaging is beautiful, with Selena’s emblem adorning it. To get the powder out, you have to twist the emblem, releasing the powder through the holes. I apply a small amount to my Beauty blender and press it into my skin. I don’t bake with setting powder, and this method works well for me. The powder feels nice on my skin, and it doesn’t cake up, even on blemishes.

Mascara Application

Now it’s time for mascara. The packaging of this mascara is a bit worn out since I’ve used it several times. I carefully apply the mascara to my lashes, enhancing their volume and length. The formula is smooth and doesn’t clump, giving my lashes a natural yet defined look. Mascara is an essential step in my makeup routine, and this rare beauty product does not disappoint.

Mascara Magic

I heard a lot of great things about this too, and when I tried it, I liked it. I’m interested to see how this does in the shade black. I’m just going to brush it to the tips of my lashes first and then I’ll go back into the bases of them. Oh wow, there it is, it is okay, finished putting on the mascara here. I’m not going to lie, I really, really like this mascara and I do think this is one of the best mascaras I’ve ever tried. So I don’t really remember how much fallout it does, but as of right now, I feel like it’s staying up pretty well. I’m going to get up close and personal with you real quick. I don’t think I put that much on and it does look really, really good. It doesn’t look super spidery.

Luscious Lips

Next up is lips and I’m not going to lie, I’m really scared for this. If you’ve watched my other videos, I tried to do lip liner and I used this lip liner. This is the Rare Beauty lip liner. I overline my lips way too much whenever I try to put on lip liner but we’re going to try this out and see what I can do with it. And then I also have a couple different lip products to try out: tinted lip oil in the shade Wonder, matte lipstick in the shade Bold. I don’t think I’ve ever tried either of these because I’m just not a lipstick girly.

Lip Liner

First up, let’s start with the lip liner in the shade Bold. The application process is not as bad as last time, although it ended up a bit crooked. Now, the dilemma arises – should I go in with the lip oil or the lipstick? For the video’s sake, I’ll opt for the lip oil.

Lip Oil

After applying the lip oil, it gives off a super pinky hue, much pinker than expected. Unfortunately, this color washes me out and doesn’t suit my skin tone well. The texture, although claiming to be a lip oil, feels more like a lip stain. I understand why this product is not highly talked about – it lacks the oil-like consistency.

Lipstick

Next, I decided to wipe off the lip oil and go for the lipstick in the shade Humble. The color looks much prettier on me, offering a more suitable shade than the lip oil. Despite the pleasant appearance, the strong smell resembling a rich soap could be off-putting for some.

Final Touch

Before finishing off the makeup look, it’s essential to highlight that the lipstick, despite the overpowering scent, serves as a beautiful lip product. The overall application process using only rare beauty products has been a mixed experience of hits and misses.

I have one last step this isn’t technically makeup. I do have for brand new perfume mess, so I will be spraying this, because I do actually like the way this smells. This smells like good. This does not smell in any way shape or form like the lipstick or the setting spray which I don’t love, but there’s a full face of Rare Beauty.

Overall Impressions

Miss Selena did eat with this I feel like overall, while some products I didn’t love. I overall really did love this entire face and I feel like to have a whole brand be in front of me right now. I do like pretty much everything I tried do really like this lip color. I’m not going to lie the more I look at it, the more I’m like oh she’s, cute.

When it comes to creating a beautiful makeup look, I always strive to use high-quality products that not only enhance my natural features but also provide long-lasting results. Recently, I decided to challenge myself by using *ONLY* rare beauty products to see if they live up to the hype surrounding them. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

Primer Perfection

First things first, I reached for the Rare Beauty Always An Optimist Illuminating Primer. This primer not only smooths out my skin and creates the perfect canvas for my makeup, but it also gives me a beautiful lit-from-within glow that lasts all day. I was instantly hooked on this product and knew that my makeup look was off to a great start.

Flawless Foundation

For my foundation, I opted for the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation. This foundation provides amazing coverage while still feeling lightweight on my skin. It effortlessly blends in and leaves me with a flawless finish that lasts throughout the day. I was incredibly impressed by how natural and radiant my skin looked after applying this foundation.

Bold Brows

Next up, I used the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel. This dual-ended product made it easy for me to fill in and shape my brows to perfection. The pencil was super easy to use and created precise, hair-like strokes, while the gel kept my brows in place all day long. My brows looked bold and defined, just the way I like them.

Sculpted Cheeks

For my cheeks, I reached for the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shade Joy. This blush gave me the perfect flush of color and blended effortlessly into my skin for a natural-looking finish. The formula was so easy to work with, and I loved how it added a subtle glow to my complexion.

Gorgeous Glow

To finish off my makeup look, I used the Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in the shade Mesmerize. This highlighter gave me a stunning, lit-from-within glow that lasted all day. It added the perfect amount of shimmer to my cheekbones and brow bones, making my skin look radiant and youthful.
