Trying City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss

Before applying makeup, I decided to try out the City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss. They sent me some samples, and I was thrilled to give them a go, as many of my content creator friends swear by them. After using it for about a week, I must say, I really like it. It doesn’t have that stinging effect, but it does give a subtle plumping effect, making it a very nice product.

Starting with the Eyes

Today, I’m starting with the eyes using the Wayne Goss palette I received in my Beautylish bag. I haven’t tried it yet, and I wanted to do it on camera with you guys. I’m also applying some eyeshadow primer, using the Ultra Ego one. This primer is creamy and helps the eyeshadow last longer. The lip gloss is giving me a nice plumpness, which I’m quite happy with.

What I’m going to do is I’m going to take that shade right there, it’s like a black shade, but it has a matte finish and I’m going to use that as my eyeliner. The brush I’m going to use is more of a flat brush. You can see pretty flat, and I love this one, it’s the best one, if I think it’s just an e.l. yeah, so an., one I’m not sure if this is still available, it’s an older brush, but really any flat brush will do sometimes it’s better.

Perfect for Mature Skin

If you put a little bit of setting spray on the brush that will help the eyeshadow stay, you can see it’s helping a little bit, but I think I’m going to just use my e.l. setting spray. Okay, so that’s a little bit better now and I’m only going to go about halfway and I’m kind of pressing it into the eye. Just trying to make a really soft look as an eyeliner. I’ve been using eyeshadows a lot lately for my eyeliner. I find it doesn’t look as harsh.

So Many Drugstore Finds

There see how it just looks nice and soft, but it does open your eye area up and it gives the eye more of like a lifting effect. Yes, it is very pigmented this this shade in particular, that is very pigmented, my goodness, okay, so I just took the tape off and it gave me those little wings, but look at how great that eyeshadow looks as an eyeliner.

Testing the Illuminance Revlon Serum Tint

I want to see if this color or the shade dries down a little bit. It looks a little bit light, maybe for me but Ill see once we get the rest of my makeup on whether I need to go. Maybe grab a like a darker shade but well test that out so another new product making an appearance at the drugstore is the illuminance Revlon serum tint. I have this in the shade 117 Light Beige. I havent heard a lot about this product, but Im always curious to try out like skin tints and all that sort of stuff. So this one says it has ginger root, vitamin C and vitamin e in it. So this is supposed to visibly reduce, dark spots and even skin tone and give skin an instant glow. It has triple hyaluronic acid, provides all day hydration. I will apply it with a brush and well see see if it works a little bit better.

Application and Texture

That way. Sometimes I find with a brush it. It gives you a little bit more coverage, so I should show you it just comes like a little squeezy tube and it does have like a seal on the top, which is always nice. You know nobodys tampered with it. Hopefully, Im not sure if this is too late, well see so Im going to put about that much its, not too too runny, which I like it feels quite nice.

Adjusting to Skin Tone

So it is a little bit light, but well see well make it work Im going to go in with the BK Beauty.

This is the 101. This is their more of like an angled foundation brush one of my favorites and Im just going to blend it in starting kind of from the center of my face. I did not apply any other products on my face other than my moisturizer and some sunscreen, but I didnt apply like any primer. I wanted to see how this was going to work.

Foundation Brush Review

It doesn’t have any sort of a scent. I actually shouldn’t have put any on this side, so you can see the coverage, but here you can kind of see on this side it’s giving me a little bit of coverage, but you can definitely build it up. Just make sure to run it down your neck, so everything looks all together. If you’re definitely somebody that likes one of those, you know no makeup makeup days, this would probably be really nice for that just kind of looking in the viewfinder. Now I can definitely see that it’s giving me coverage on this side covered up some of the redness on my cheek.

LOreal True Match Concealer

I was very excited when I got to the store and I saw that the LOreal true match concealer finally arrived in Canada. So what is so interesting about this concealer is its 1.5 hyaluronic acid, and also it has caffeine in it, so that is going to really help brighten up that under eye area. If you have like dark pigmentation like myself, I have quite dark circles under my eyes, so I’m always looking for products that are going to help lighten those.

These drugstore finds are perfect for mature skin as they provide coverage without settling into fine lines and wrinkles. The foundation brush blends seamlessly, giving a natural finish while the concealer helps to brighten up the under-eye area, diminishing the appearance of dark circles. I do have this in the shade N3, its quite a nice DOA applicator. So this is supposed to con conceal, but also is very hydrating for under the eyes, because it acts like almost like a little bit of an eye serum Im just going to go in with my Real Techniques concealer brush.

Hydrating Concealer for MATURE SKIN

I always love trying different concealers, especially ones that have a really like hydrating effect under the eye, because I do like my under eyes are quite dry. Well, that did a really nice job. I am actually quite surprised of how well it covered, and I didnt use any color corrector today, because I wanted to see how the actual concealer was working, and so that looks great without any color corrector and its not creasing at all.

Impressed with the Results

Usually as soon as I put concealer on, I can already see like little bits of like creasing going on on my fine lines, but that did great look at how well it hides that Darkness. Under my my eyes and my eyes, look really super hydrated, hopefully that showing up on the camera of how hydrated my under eye area looks okay, really really impressed with this concealer. This is amazing. Im Im loving it. Actually, I can see already like its looking great its not settling at all. Oh boy, big thumbs up from LOreal.

New Eyeliner Find

So were going to go in with a new. This is a new to me, eyeliner its, not new, the Nyx epic wear.

Revlon Color Stay Extension Mascara

This is in the shade. Uh gunmetal game like a pencil thats it there Im going to use that to tight line, so next were going to go in with the Revlon Color Stay extension air. I used it in a couple of videos ago, its a new mascara by Revlon and Im. Actually, quite enjoying it, its very nice feel to my lashes, the wand has some like different little bristles on it. I will say the only only thing with this mascara that if you are somebody that doesnt, like more of like a wetter mascara, you may not like this one cuz. I find it is a little bit on a like the wetter formula. Okay, so that is just one coat on this side, and then I also did take that same eyeliner and just ran it in my waterline on the bottom as well. I just find it is a its because its not black its, not like a really harsh looking appearance. My eye, I think it looks a little bit softer with the gray next were going to go in.

Milk Makeup Liquid Bronzer

I dont have like a really new bronzer, so Im going to go in with the milk makeup. This is their liquid bronzer. I usually just take about that much and I forgot to tell you its in the shade time, travel and Im going to take the BK Beauty. This is the 106. This is an actually like a foundation brush, but I like to use it as applying liquid bronzer.

Testing Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush

So I just take a bit on the brush and start applying it on my cheeks up into my hairline. Today, I’m using a liquid blush for that healthy, glowing skin look. The Revlon illuminance gel serum blush in enchanting mauve promises a dewy finish all day. I apply it with my fingers, as instructed, starting with a small amount.

Trying Out Different Application Techniques

Using my fingers to blend the gel serum blush has a different feel to it. The texture feels light and smooth, and I can control the intensity of the color more easily. I can see how this technique could be beneficial for mature skin, providing a natural, seamless finish.

I can’t really say that I’m going to, it’s definitely not as pigmented as those new e.l.f ones that are comparable to like the rare Beauty. So this is definitely more of what they’re saying like a creamy type of product. You can kind of see it showing up a little bit, but not as much as I thought it might. It’s giving a nice shade. I think that looks pretty, but yeah. Definitely doesn’t have that pigmentation, yeah, that’s pretty, that’s a nice shade.

Perfect for MATURE SKIN

So if you are somebody that is intimidated by those new e.l.f ones, the rare Beauty ones, this might be a nice alternative for you. Where it’s not going to give you that, like, oh, my goodness I’ve applied too much and it takes forever to get it off. This is very easy to blend and it’s quite nice, like it really does feel like a serum on my hand. What I like too, is it’s not picking up the product that’s underneath. Sometimes you have that with liquid products. It’ll pick up the other products, but this one’s not doing that.

So Many DRUGSTORE Finds!

Okay, so that’s pretty, that’s, that’s okay! If you’re looking for more of like a subtle blush, a liquid blush, then this one’s a good one. Now I don’t have a new highlighter. I’m just going to go in with my favorite rare Beauty, the Positive Light highlighter. This is just stunning.

Wayne Goss Lip Pencil in Light Nude

One of my favorite highlighters is from the Lish beauty bag, and now I’m moving on to testing more products. The Wayne Goss essential lip pencil in the shade light nude is a classic lip liner that needs sharpening. The neutral shade is forgiving and perfect for any mistakes.

Sarat Lipstick

Next, I tried the Sarat lipstick, which comes in a beautiful shade. Be cautious with this one as it has a click mechanism that can be tricky to control. However, the combination of the lip liner and lipstick created a lovely look that I was pleased with.

City Beauty Lip Plumping Gloss

I also tested the City Beauty lip plumping gloss, which felt nice and cooling on my lips without the uncomfortable stinging sensation that some plumping products have. It added a nice finishing touch to my lips.

Revlon Skin Serum Tint and Blush

Lastly, I tried the new Revlon products, the skin serum tint and the blush. The tint gave my skin a luminous glow, enhancing my complexion beautifully. It’s a great addition to any makeup routine for mature skin.

Foundation Review

The foundation has evened out my skin tone and provides light coverage. It may not be suitable for those looking for medium coverage, but I like it for a natural look on no makeup makeup days. The addition of vitamin C and E is a bonus for skincare benefits.

Wear Test

I’ll update in the description box on how the foundation wears throughout the day. So far, it’s not settling into fine lines like other foundations tend to do, which is a positive sign of its longevity.

LOreal True Match Concealer

That looks amazing. So I’m really impressed that it looks quite nice. The black for the eyeliner, like holy smokes, is really staying on. I’m quite happy with the eyeshadow palette, but the big star of the show by far has been the LOreal True Match concealer. This new concealer looks amazing under my eyes. There is no creasing going on, it’s not settling into my fine lines, and my under eyes look super hydrated. The coverage is amazing, and I think it looks great without any color corrector. This product is getting a big thumbs up from me.

Maybelline Build a Brow

The only fail I would say, and the reason is because of the shade, is this new Maybelline Build a Brow. The product itself is great, I really like how it comes with a little spoolie on the other end to run the hairs through and have the hair stay in place. But the actual shade is not my shade. It looks too light, so I’m going to go back and get a different shade. I’ll have it in a different video and show you guys what it looks like with the correct shade.
