Before delving into the actual review and application process, I feel obliged to share my experience leading up to this moment. To put it simply, it has been a nightmare. Dealing with various issues and obstacles has tested my patience and left me wondering if it was all worth it. But nevertheless, here I am, ready to share my unbiased opinion on the HAUS LABS Foundation.

The Long Wait and Disappointments

I ordered this back on the 22nd of September. This arrived in the mail yesterday, its taken almost 3 months to get to me here in Australia, and I paid additional money for express shipping. It has been quite a thing now I am the biggest lady gagasan. Can I just preface this by saying that, because Im obsessed with her Ive got all her merch, all of her music Ive, been to all of her concerts, have loved and adored her for honestly, like 15, probably 15, more than 15 years like since the beginning of Her career absolutely obsessed with her but Lady Gaga, you need to fix up the processes in your Warehouse because this was a nightmare.

Inefficiencies in the Warehouse

Somehow my order was misplaced in the warehouse so before even being shipped out of the warehouse on four separate occasions and then, according to the customer service team, two additional occasions, my order was lost in transit. That means my order went missing six times and the customer service replies were really slow. There was about two weeks in between every time I got an email back from them. I have just had a nightmare like truly when this showed up in the mail. I was like its actually here, like I had started to believe that it was just never going to arrive now.

Exploring Alternatives

I do know in the States you can actually purchase this from Sephora directly. I would highly recommend doing that. Instead of purchasing off the House labs website direct, and I did have to be quite firm with them, um and sort of like really just like lay it down like guys.

The Purchasing Experience

This is absolutely not acceptable, it’s so unprofessional. Where is my order? It’s been 3 months, it feels like this whole thing. I just want to make sure that you guys are aware of exactly what went down before making a purchase, so that you are fully informed. But that’s enough of that. Let’s actually try this formula.

The Formula

Okay, let’s pump a little out. Oh, so the formula is quite runny. It does have almost like a serum-like texture to it. I’m going to first try applying it with a beauty sponge, and I have already applied primer off camera. I’m trying to save some time here. I used Anak Cosmetics’ matte-based primer. Of course, I’m an oily skin type, so a mattifying primer is what I need. Let’s start applying this on my skin.

The Coverage

First off the bat, I gotta say, the coverage of this foundation is absolutely gorgeous. It is covering up redness. It is covering up discoloration, and I feel like it’s really giving my skin a smooth kind of blurred-out texture, exactly how the foundation says it’s going to make the skin look. It’s very, very lightweight. To get this amount of coverage and sort of like it feels like a serum foundation. I don’t hate it. I absolutely like it. First impression, straight up within 2 seconds.

Buildable Texture

Upon using and applying the Haus Labs Foundation, I can immediately detect its buildable texture. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, allowing for easy layering. Surprisingly, even a small layer of the product provides full coverage, defying its initial impression as a medium coverage foundation.

I must admit, I am in awe of how amazing this foundation looks on the skin. Not only does it provide exceptional coverage, but it also imparts a satin-like finish. To gauge the foundation’s coverage capabilities, I decided to use an additional pump of the product. However, I soon realized that one pump was more than sufficient to cover one side of my face. Nothing has changed. I’m no oilier than I was 5 hours ago, despite the fact that I’m actually feeling a little bit sweaty. I mean, I might be a tiny bit oilier on the side of my nose, but it’s truly shocking. I’m perplexed, asking myself, “Where are my oils right now?” It’s as if they’ve disappeared. The foundation has not caked, settled, or transferred. There’s no separation, no breaking around my chin like I normally experience. I cannot see any of my pores. I’m weirdly examining my face, wondering how this is even possible. It just looks so bizarrely perfect.

Surprising Lightweight Feel

And it still feels really, really lightweight. This is one of the things I look for the most in a foundation these days. I don’t want to feel like I’ve got heavy makeup caked on my skin. As I’m getting older, I prefer my skin to be able to breathe. This foundation definitely doesn’t feel heavy at all. It feels more like I’ve applied a light-tinted serum or something. I can barely feel it on my skin. It’s truly remarkable.

Achieving a Perfectly Glow

Let me zoom you in on my face. It’s just so incredibly perfected and glowy, and there are no visible pores. I must admit, I do look slightly glowier than I would with my other foundations, such as KVD good apple or Clinic’s even better clinical serum. These are known for their mattifying formulas. However, even with this gorgeous, glowy naturalness, the foundation is not caking or going gross like it usually does on oily skin. Normally, the oils come through and break down the foundation like a makeup remover. But with this foundation, that’s not happening at all. No settling, no caking.

No Splitting, but Worth the Wait

I hate to say it, but maybe this one was worth the 3 Monon wait. I mean things could change, obviously in another 6 hours, but right now I am super super super happy with how this is looking really really happy happy. So yeah Ill come back tonight and well see what its looking like, then all right guys.

Impressive Wear Test Results

So here is my skin after 12 hours of wear, I apologize because I do look a little tired. I do actually think that were headed towards about 13 hours of wear at this point um, I am truly shocked. Stoked baffled Blown Away, dont really know what to do with these results, because I just I cannot believe how good this Foundation is.

Oiliness in the T Zone

Obviously, weve got a little bit more oil happening through the T Zone, like you can kind of see like on the side of my nose here like theres. Definitely some shine happening um, I would say predominantly like theres, not really too much shine happening on my forehead up here, predominantly its like my nose sort of on either sides of my cheeks and my chin everywhere else honestly still looks really really good, like I dont Other than sort of here – and here I wouldnt, even feel the need to touch up anywhere else.

Minimal Touch-Ups Needed

I do feel like this section of my face. Definitely does need touching up but, as you guys know, whenever I do these Foundation wear tests, I do not like I deliberately do not touch up during the day cuz.

The Worst Conditions Test

The idea behind this review and wear test was to put the Haus Labs Foundation formula through the worst conditions possible. Imagine going out for a long day without packing your pressed powder or any touch-up products. How would the foundation perform under such circumstances?

Impressive Performance

To my surprise, the foundation surpassed all expectations. Even with all the oil coming through, there was no caking, separating, or splitting. The foundation held onto the skin remarkably well, without transferring off anywhere. I have to say, I am truly impressed.

The Prep

Before applying the foundation, I used the Haus Labs matte base primer. This primer always works wonders for me. To set everything in place, I dusted on a layer of the Alva finishing powder. These products have become my favorites, and I trust them blindly.

Um and Ill obviously keep testing it with different primers and different. You know other foundations and products and powders and everything just so that we can get a really good idea of how it performs with products that dont perform form as well as these on oily skin, but its just brilliant.

My Love for HAUS LABS Foundation

I love the packaging. I love the shade range. I love the formula, I love how lightweight it is on the skin. I love how blurring it is on the skin and how perfected it makes you look. I love how well it holds up when my oils come through, and I do feel like its quite like a good mattifying oil controlling formula and thats, probably because its got all of those skincare like 20 skincare ingredients in this, and when your skin is hydrated. Like Ive said a million times when your Skins hydrated, it doesnt feel the need to produce as much oils, so thats, probably whats going on here.
