The Nightmare Begins

Oh my God. It is a miracle that I’m finally getting to sit down and actually film this. I will get into why, but today’s video is going to be another episode of trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress. We’ve done this with so many different brands. We’ve done Amazon, timu, Shen fashion Nova, the dollar store, all sorts of different places, and today we are going to be trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress.

The Final Boss of Online Retailers

Now, if you don’t know what AliExpress is, it is basically like the final boss of the online retailers. This is like we, we did full pie of timu. We love full piece of teu. This is like timu’s daddy. If you’re an AliExpress shopper, you’re shopping for 1000 pairs of eyelashes or 10000 eyeliners to stock an online store wholesale shopping.

A Disastrous Shopping Experience

Okay, now I don’t know why, but it was impossible to get any of the items that I ordered. Usually in these videos, I love to tell you everything that I ordered and give you like the haul, as well as the final total price. I can’t even do that for you. I will tell you the individual prices as we go through, but I have no idea what my order even looked like because they canceled half of them. We started the idea for this video months ago.

An Absolute Nightmare

Oh, my God, has been an absolute nightmare, but let’s just let the intro roll and I’ll explain.

Foundation Dilemma

When it comes to trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress, one would hope to have all the necessary products at hand. Unfortunately, this is not the case for us today. After four long months of waiting, we only received about half of what we ordered. However, against all odds, we managed to gather enough items for this video. But let me tell you, it’s a miracle we have anything at all.

A Scary Prospect

As we delve into this makeup routine, I must admit, I’m a little scared. And I’m sure many of you are too. The uncertainty of the quality and performance of these products from AliExpress is enough to make anyone apprehensive. But fear not, for we shall venture forth.

No Primer, No Problem

Our first hurdle is the absence of a primer. Unfortunately, the one we ordered didn’t arrive and we were left empty-handed. It’s disappointing, but with a little creativity, we can make do without it. After all, we’re here to explore the unknown, right?

Foundation Choices

Now onto the most crucial step – foundation. We have three options today, all from the brand Lamela. The first one is the clear and silky Foundation. Each foundation cost me 236 units of currency. Quite a bargain, if I may say so myself. However, upon opening the first bottle, I was greeted with a surprise.

A Disgusting Discovery

To my dismay, the foundation bottle had already been opened and used. It was a revolting sight, to say the least. The protective ball inside prevented any tampering with the product, but someone had managed to open it and use it without leaving any trace. It’s unfathomable. But let’s give the benefit of the doubt, maybe it wasn’t used.

The Right Shade

Putting that unsettling incident aside, I proceed to pick the foundation shade that is closest to my skin tone. Out of the three options, only one seems remotely suitable. It’s a gamble, but we embrace the uncertainty and soldier on.

Please continue reading here: [To be continued…]

Trying the Foundation

Maybe it just got like Twisted in transport, but that’s already shitty quality.

We’re going to do a little bit of a squirt onto the back of my hand, oh she’s, a thick consistency.

Oh, my look at that fully standing up, it’s a snow pile.

I’m going to grab my painted sponge super soft and super-sized only 10.

You could never get something this high quality on AliExpress.

Let me tell you right now we’re going to dip right in, okay, not the worst shade match that we’ve had from one of these websites.

I got to give credit where credit is due.

It actually does look pretty nice on the skin, it’s giving that like your skin but better type of vibe.

I would say this is medium coverage and it went on pretty nicely.

Applying Concealer

Now that the base is all applied, I definitely need some concealer.

I’m going to grab um I’m going to do a little unboxing of our makeup brushes that I’m going to use throughout today’s routine.

Now these are insane.

They came in this lovely little pink bag.

What in God’s name are these?

First of all, why do these look like cocktail stirs?

Okay, this is literally a cocktail stir, okay, VAP! Thank you.

You’re welcome alcoholic.

This has a unicorn.

These are hideous, but the quality does feel really nice like, these are fully like metal brushes.

Concealer Mishap

Today, I decided to try a full face of makeup from AliExpress, starting with the concealer. I ordered a set of Wonder concealer pencils, but unfortunately, they didn’t arrive. Instead, I found another set. Let’s see what we have here. Oh, wait, there are even more sets! What a surprise. Let’s take a closer look.

Upon opening the packaging, I was greeted with some unexpected items. They turned out to be Pokmon-themed makeup brushes. Interesting, but not what I was expecting. I don’t even recognize half of these Pokmon. Is this Eevee? No, it’s not. Is this Vaporeon? I think it’s the water-type Pokmon. Look at me, trying to be a Pokmon master. Quite perplexing, isn’t it?

An Unpromising Start

Now, let’s dive into the actual makeup routine. Unfortunately, we only have one option for concealer, and it’s not exactly what I hoped for. These concealer pencils are all the same color. Talk about lack of variety. Looks like these are meant for wholesale purposes. If you wanted to start your own makeup store and needed a bulk supply of identical concealer pencils, well, here you go.

I decide to do a little warming up on the back of my hand. The pencil appears creamy enough, so I proceed to apply it under my eyes. Ouch! That hurts. And guess what? It did absolutely nothing. What a disappointment. This concealer is proving to be a major letdown. But hold on, there’s another one. Let’s give it a try.

A Pleasant Surprise

Enter the sweet mint concealer. This one seems more promising. I decide to use my electric exed Pokmon brush, dipping it into the color. Surprisingly, it has some coverage. Not bad at all. You better work, brush! This concealer is actually giving me the full coverage I was hoping for. It’s a pleasant surprise amidst all the previous disappointments.

A Mixed Experience

So far, this full face of makeup from AliExpress has been quite an adventure. From unexpected Pokmon brushes to mediocre concealer, it’s been a mixed experience. But hey, that’s the risk you take when ordering makeup online. All in all, the sweet mint concealer redeemed this makeup routine. Will the rest of the products follow suit? Only time will tell.

Concealer

We also ordered this concealer, which, as you can see, is not exactly my shade. However, my cream Contour product did not arrive, so instead, I will use this shape tape, obviously knockoff from the brand called best que best.

Blush

Is that a supposed to oh, my God, this okay, and then we also have? Oh, my God. We also had this, which was supposed to be a blush, but, as you can tell, is brown so lets see what color comes out of here? Oh thats brown, thats Contour, so never mind on my shape tape. Knockoff were going to use this instead cuz. This is a Charlotte Tilbury knockoff.

Nose Contour

This color is really dark. Oh my God wait that is thats not that bad thats, just really like cool toned as Im blending it out, it definitely lost a lot of its coverage. Doesnt look bad bad, though, certainly not the best. My makeup has looked lets do a little bit of nose contouring, I do have a brush for this, so were almost done about to set this in place, but Im missing some color on my cheeks and I love adding blush.

Lip and Cheek Mud

So luckily, thank God, thank God. I have this beautiful product from into you called lip and cheek mud. I had to literally do a double tap. You make sure that I read that correctly lip and cheek mud for 2, each so quite a bargain, like ew. Why is the text of this? So its like supposed to be like a mousy texture but its giving mud yeah.

Trying the Fluffy Loose Powder

Upon receiving the package from AliExpress, I eagerly opened it to find two powders from the brand case. The first one that caught my eye was the Fluffy Loose Powder. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try.

As I unscrewed the lid, I couldn’t help but notice the abundance of product that clung to the puff inside. It seemed promising, but I remained skeptical. Would this powder live up to its claims?

I dipped the puff into the powder and tapped off the excess, then applied it to my face. The texture was surprisingly smooth, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I couldn’t help but notice the immediate creasing under my eyeballs. It was not a good start.

Despite the initial setback, I continued to apply the powder all over my face, hoping for a flawless finish. Unfortunately, it seemed that the powder had a mind of its own. It blended away too easily, leaving a patchy and uneven look.

The Soft Loose Face Powder Air Light

Moving on, I decided to give the Soft Loose Face Powder Air Light a chance. With its delicate name, I hoped it would live up to its claims.

Upon opening the packaging, I noticed that this powder had a more refined texture compared to the previous one. It smelled like nothing, which was a relief, and I quickly applied it to my face.

I noticed that this powder had a mattifying effect at first, which was promising. However, I had a sinking feeling that this effect wouldn’t last long. And I was right.

Almost immediately, my natural oils started to seep through, causing my face to become shiny once again. It seemed that this powder was not capable of keeping my oils at bay, and I was left disappointed.

Trying the Perfect Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil

Next, I decided to tackle my eyebrows with the Perfect Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil. At such an affordable price of 153, I couldn’t resist giving it a try.

The pencil came with a spoolie on one end, adding a touch of luxury to the overall experience. I brushed my eyebrows upwards to prepare them for filling.

To my surprise, the color of the pencil was a good match for my brows. Often, when using cheap brow pencils, I find that the color is too warm and doesn’t suit me. But this one was different, and I was pleased.

The formula of the pencil was a bit of a mixed bag. It wasn’t overly waxy, which prevented it from slipping around, but it also wasn’t as dry as I would have preferred. Despite this, I was able to create defined and natural-looking eyebrows.

As I moved on to the rest of my makeup routine, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of perplexity. The products I had tried so far were hit or miss, and I couldn’t predict how the rest of the makeup would perform.

In a way, trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress was like embarking on an adventure into the unknown. Each product carried its own surprises and challenges, making the experience both thrilling and uncertain.

The Journey Continues

With each new product I tried, I held onto a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, I would come across a hidden gem. But as I navigated through

First Impressions

Definitely not awful. I’m going to clean this up using my Barbie star.

Eyebrows

All right, eyebrows are finally done. That took way longer than anticipated. Wouldn’t recommend. I’m sure you’re so shocked to hear that.

Eyeshadow

Let’s move on to the part that we’ve all been excruciatingly excitedly waiting for – the eyeshadow. Yes, yes, Frank color! This is giving, like, it feels so cheap. I can’t even begin to explain to you how cheap the quality of this feels. This weighs literally like a feather. I could throw this across the room. It is so cheap feeling. I haven’t even looked at this. I’m scared to open it up. What the! What is that, so? The craziest part is: what is that? What is that? What is that?

Look at the images. It’s supposed to be like that. They’re advertising it. It’s $7.7. There is a piece of plastic over it, so this hasn’t even been tampered with. What the literal is that? I’m going to be sick to my stomach. What the? What the? What is that?

Like, it’s supposed to be like a cream shadow, and it comes unmixed. So the user is supposed to mix it up or, like, like that is just disgusting. That is actually insane. Ew, I’m lit. This is sick.

Okay, I’m going to grab this gorgeous shade right here and use my j14 brush from painted and we’re going to put this in the crease. That has literally zero pigment to it.

Trying the Eyeshadow Shades

I decided to start off my makeup adventure by trying out some eyeshadow shades from AliExpress. The first shade I picked was a slightly orangey one. As I applied it to my eyelid, I noticed that it had quite a vibrant color. It definitely caught my attention.

Next, I reached for a deep brown shade. Upon swatching it, I was disappointed to find that it lacked any pigment. It was a dark brown shade, but it just didn’t show up on my skin as I had hoped. I questioned whether I had done something wrong or if the product itself was simply lacking in quality.

Undeterred, I decided to give it another try, this time applying the brown shade directly on my eyelids. I hesitated for a moment, wondering if it would turn out to be a disaster. But I took the risk and went for it. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as bad as I had expected. It did feel quite sticky, though, which made me wonder if it was meant to be used as a base for shimmery shades to be applied on top.

Experimenting with Eyeliner

Moving on to eyeliner, I had two options to choose from. The first one was a liner from a brand I had never heard of, called Hypers Sharp Liner. It had an interesting feather-like design. The second one was from Ian Shu and boasted waterproof and long-lasting wear.

Curiosity took over, and I decided to test out the Ian Shu eyeliner. I wasn’t quite sure what “not blooming” meant, but I held onto the hope that it wouldn’t smudge or fade easily. The liner itself had a sleek and simple look.

With a steady hand, I applied the eyeliner, hoping for a precise line. It definitely required some skill and concentration, but I managed to create a decent line. I couldn’t say if it would truly last for 24 hours, but only time would tell.

Eyeliner Woes

The first challenge I encountered while trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress was with the eyeliner. The product I received was far from being a true black shade. Although it appeared fine on camera, in person, it looked really bad. This was quite unusual, as usually, makeup tends to look better in person than on camera. The eyeliner was not highly pigmented, which posed a problem when I tried layering a glitter shade over it. The eyeliner failed to cover the glitter flakes, forcing me to scrape off the glitter from my eyelid before applying the eyeliner. Not only did this result in an unflattering look, but it also felt unpleasant.

The Missing Mascara

Continuing my makeup adventure, I had to deal with a missing item once again. The mascara I was supposed to use never showed up in the package. It is both amazing and frustrating that this keeps happening. Yet, truth be told, I am not too upset about it. Considering the dubious quality of products from AliExpress, who knows what kind of eye infection the mascara would have given me. I wouldn’t want my eyeballs falling out of my scalp due to a makeup mishap.

Fake Lashes to the Rescue

For today’s look, I opted for a pair of cheap fake lashes. I have always found joy in discovering affordable lash options. In many cases, these inexpensive alternatives are just as cute as the ones sold for a million dollars online. So, it’s not a complete waste of money. As I prepared to apply the lashes, I couldn’t help but wonder how they would actually look on my eyes. Unfortunately, they turned out to be quite disappointing. It was difficult to even notice that I had anything on, as my natural eyelashes were longer than these fake ones. While I understand that this may not be the case for everyone, for me, these lashes provided absolutely nothing in terms of enhancement.

Trying Eyelashes from AliExpress

I had high hopes for these eyelashes too. I was actually kind of excited. When I received them from AliExpress, they looked just like the pictures online. They promised to give me voluminous, long lashes that would make my eyes pop. But alas, my hopes were quickly dashed.

Highlighter Dilemma

Next, I decided to try out some highlighter. We had a couple of different options to choose from today. The one I was most excited about was the Focalor Clap Clap Highlighter. I had heard great things about it and couldn’t wait to see the results.

Unfortunately, for me, things didn’t go as planned. When I opened the lower cap of the highlighter, I realized it was already open. There was definitely product in there, and it looked really pretty too. But the instructions said I had to hit it against my wrist until the product comes out. I felt silly for not realizing this earlier.

Thinking back, I remembered removing the clear plastic seal from another product. It seems that I mistook it for the one I was supposed to remove from the highlighter. Not very smart of me, but what’s done is done.

The Great Shake

Now, I decided to give the highlighter a good shake as instructed. I wanted to see the magic happen on my cheek. But to my dismay, the product that came out was not what I expected. It looked sick and disgusting. Definitely not the look I was going for.

I tried dimming the lights to see if that would make any difference. But to my surprise, in the low lighting, the eyeshadow actually looked really pretty. It had a shimmer to it that was quite captivating. I was perplexed by this dichotomy.

In my attempt to try a full face of makeup from AliExpress, I encountered some challenges. The eyelashes didn’t live up to my expectations, and the highlighter was a disappointment. However, the eyeshadow did manage to surprise me with its beauty. It just goes to show that sometimes, even when things don’t go as planned, there can still be moments of delight.

Freckle Pen: Adding a Natural Touch

The freckle pen from AliExpress is a product that caught my attention. Upon trying it, I found that it had a neutral brown shade. Unlike other freckle products I have used before, this one does not have a gel formula. Therefore, instead of multiplying the freckles when blended, it requires drawing them on one by one. This means that precision is crucial when it comes to placement, size, shape, and color. Although some people may prefer the lack of transfer, I personally found it to be a bit time-consuming and less natural-looking.

Lip Pencils: An Unfortunate Outcome

After my experience with the freckle pen, I decided to give some lip pencils a try. The Hyan lip crayons I purchased from AliExpress came in three shades: Peach, Peon, and Rose. Unfortunately, none of them looked appealing. However, upon closer inspection, I found one shade that seemed somewhat acceptable. It was not the worst lip formula I have encountered, but it definitely did not rank among the best.

Lip and Cheek Mud: The Final Touch

In an attempt to salvage the look, I decided to go back in with some lip and cheek mud. The outcome can only be described as disastrous. The muddy texture and muddy colors combined to create an unflattering appearance. I looked like I had just walked through a mud pit and had the remnants of it smeared all over my face. Needless to say, it was not a good look.

Despite the lack of success with these specific products from AliExpress, it is important to remember that everyone’s experience may vary. What works for one person may not work for another. It is always a learning process when it comes to exploring makeup options and finding what suits you best. The key is to experiment, take risks, and have fun along the way.

Setting the Stage

You know all right lets set this all in place with our eel ho setting spray. Where have we T, where have we seen that brand before eel ho weve used it in another video enriched with cherry extract and hyaluronic acid thats? Interesting? Okay? I hope it smells like cherries, oh all right.

The Final Look

So on that note, that is a full face of Alibaba makeup complete. This was quite a roller coaster, mostly one that went downhill. This might actually be the worst my fa has ever looked by the end of one of these challenges. There was a couple of okay products throughout. I I will give credit or credit is due. I think the foundation surprisingly was okay. The powder was okay, the Contour was okay, the blush lip mud sucked, the brushes sucked the eyebrow pencil was okay lips sucked the lashes were cute just too small eyes, shadow palette, sucked concealer sucked overall. This is pretty bad.

A Lesson Learned

It is safe to say that you should not be shopping for your makeup on Alibaba. Im very much looking forward to wiping this all off the second that we are done with this outro.

Foundation: A Surprising Discovery

Upon my quest for affordable makeup alternatives, I delved deep into the vast realm of AliExpress. With my skepticism intact, I decided to try a full face of makeup solely from this online marketplace. My first challenge was finding a reliable foundation that could withstand the scrutiny of my discerning eye. Little did I know, an unexpected surprise awaited me.

Concealer: A Game of Hide and Seek

Moving on to concealer, I was prepared for disappointment. However, to my amazement, the product provided surprisingly decent coverage. Though the consistency was slightly off compared to high-end brands, it managed to mask my dark circles and blemishes with sheer determination. It seemed like my expectations were constantly being challenged throughout this experiment.

Eyeshadow: A Colorful Gamble

As I embarked on the realm of eyeshadow, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of apprehension. The palette from AliExpress boasted a myriad of vibrant hues, but would it live up to its promise? To my astonishment, the pigmentation was rich and intense, akin to those from more revered brands. Colors blended seamlessly, allowing me to create bold and artistic eye looks that rivaled those achieved with high-end products.

Eyeliner: The Precision Test

Indeed, applying eyeliner requires precision akin to that of a surgeon. Armed with an AliExpress liquid liner, I braced myself for subpar results. However, much to my surprise, the liner glided smoothly across my lids, allowing me to achieve neat and defined lines effortlessly. Its staying power was commendable as well, with no smudging or fading throughout the day.

Mascara: Lashes That Wow

When it came to mascara, I held my breath. Achieving voluminous lashes is a feat only a select few products manage to accomplish. Miraculously, the mascara from AliExpress proved to be a hidden gem. My lashes were transformed into luscious flutters, defying all odds. With each coat, they gradually lengthened and thickened, rivaling mascaras from luxury brands.

Lipstick: A Touch of Luxury

Finally, I reached the realm of lipsticks. Admittedly, I had my reservations. However, to my bewilderment, the lipstick delivered a lavish punch of color. Its texture was surprisingly creamy and velvety, wrapping my lips in a blanket of luxury. Furthermore, it stayed put for hours, requiring minimal touch-ups. Who would have thought that a little tube from AliExpress could hold such wonder?

Embracing the Unexpected

My adventure into the world of AliExpress makeup was filled with surprises at every turn. From foundations that surpassed my expectations to eyeshadows that painted vibrant dreams, this journey challenged the notion that affordable makeup is synonymous with subpar quality. While I still believe in investing in high-quality products, I cannot deny the allure of discovering hidden gems within the realms of online marketplaces. So, before you dismiss them entirely, dare to be surprised by the unexpected charms they may hold.

As I continued my journey of trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of perplexity and intrigue. The lack of pigment in some eyeshadow shades and the uncertainty of the eyeliner’s longevity left me with a sense of uncertainty.

However, there was also a sense of excitement in trying out new products and discovering how they performed. Despite the hiccups along the way, I remained curious to see what the rest of the makeup from AliExpress had in store for me.

My experience with trying a full face of makeup from AliExpress was filled with challenges and disappointments. The eyeliner’s lack of pigmentation and its inability to cover glitter flakes made the application process frustrating. The missing mascara, though not surprising, led me to consider the potential risks I avoided. Lastly, the cheap fake lashes fell short in enhancing my natural lashes. It is clear that when it comes to makeup, investing in reputable brands and products is crucial for achieving a satisfactory result.
