I was skeptical when trying out the primer from R Beauty Skincare Brand. I expected it to be drying and chalky, like many other primers I have used in the past. To my surprise, it had a slight moisture to it, which was a refreshing change. What caught my attention was the unique combination of moisturizing and blurring properties. I haven’t come across a primer with this combination before, and I must say, I really enjoyed it.

Typically, pore-blurring primers tend to be mattifying, which can sometimes make the skin feel dry. However, this primer offered a little bit of moisture, which made a noticeable difference. Initially, when I blended it in, it left a slight white cast. But that’s okay, as I have used milk of magnesia in the past and know that it can also whiten the skin temporarily. Once the primer settled into my skin, the whiteness disappeared, and my makeup went on smoothly. It provided a pigmented and flawless finish, overall exceeding my expectations.

No, what am I saying it still gets the job done its just not like new or Innovative in any way, and you know it’s not like. I would go to Kylie for that milk toner, but it works and it gets the job done and it’s in a cute little bottle. So I can’t be mad at it.

Vitamin C Serum

Her vitamin C serum. I have been sticking beside my Revolution, vitamin C serum that I get from freaking, Walgreens. I’ve been sticking beside it and I am been going nowhere. But this vitamin C serum really surprised me, it’s literally almost the same type of formula that I get from Walgreens. But just a little bit more vitamin cish, I guess. Oh, my God, it’s pleasantly surprising. That was my favorite item from that entire travel size kit. It’s something I would go to Kylie for specifically. Now, like once that one’s out, I’m probably going to go back and get another one.

Moisturizer

Finally, her moisturizer. It really wasn’t anything special. It was kind of just a moisturizer but again it’s cute that it’s in a pink little bottle and it’s travel size, so I can’t be too mad at it.

Next brand I want to talk about is Road Beauty. So, I got the peptide treatment, glaze treatment kit. It came with three lip peptide treatments, her glazed serum, and her moisturizer. Let’s get into the peptide treatments.

The Lip Peptides

I was a little bit confused at first because I received three lip peptides that seemed to be the same. I tried both the unscented and watermelon ones, but for some reason, I couldn’t detect a distinct watermelon scent. The smell was there, but it didn’t really stand out. I wish there was a little more variation, perhaps in color or packaging. Personally, I’m not too heavy on scents, so it’s cool that it came with three. However, I have to say that the Salted Caramel variant smells amazing!

The Glazed Fluid

Now, let’s get into the glazed fluid. I must admit, it was very underwhelming. From the name and description, I was expecting to look like a glazed donut after using it. Unfortunately, it didn’t really live up to its claims. It didn’t give me that dewy, glazed look that I was hoping for. It fell short of its intended purpose.
