Sephora VIB Haul: What’s Good?

Oh shoot. That was heavier than I thought and way more dramatic than necessary. Okay, it is Vib sale time. There are new holiday launches there, a lot of sparkly things. I went into Sephora. I did not think that I would find as much as I did. I thought. Maybe there would be a couple new launches, a couple of things that would pique my interest, but I went in and it was just like. Oh my gosh distraction. Glitter, hot pink packaging holiday gift sets and there’s a sale. It was quite a shopping Adventure.

I have not done that much damage so quickly in such a long time – and I have things to say – not everything I’ve tried so far worked out so we’re going to do a little bit of a haul a little bit of a hit or miss, and then Also, I do want to share with you guys that I will be linking below corresponding recent Sephora Hit List videos in case you want to go on a deeper dig of like all-time Hall of Fame products to help you on your potential shopping Adventure during the sale.

Woo that I like, I was trying to get it all out and, like I can’t, even breathe I’m talking so fast, okay, I always share with you guys what’s on the nails all of in June. This is a great polish for this time of year, it’s called Lippy it’s a little bit glimmery shimmery, but it’s a beautiful red.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Verse Palette

The Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Verse Palette is a highly anticipated release from the brand. As a fan of Charlotte Tilbury, I was excited to try this palette out. The packaging itself is stunning, with a glittery ombre design that catches the eye.

When it comes to the matte shades in the palette, they did not disappoint. The texture of the shadows is incredibly soft, almost like a cream. I applied one of the middle shades in the crease and it blended out beautifully. The pigmentation is also top-notch, providing rich, opaque color.

Although I only used a matte shade and a deeper brown on the outer lid, I can already tell that this palette has potential for creating a variety of looks. The formula is easy to work with and the shades blend seamlessly.

When I initially swatched the palette in Sephora, I was amazed by how beautiful the shimmers looked. However, I would need to test them properly on the eyes to give a definitive opinion.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon

I also picked up the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon in the shade “Night Mauves”. The color is a stunning deep mauve with a hint of berry. I appreciate that the lip crayon comes in a twist-up format, making it easy to apply and travel-friendly.

The formula of this lip crayon is creamy and smooth, gliding effortlessly onto the lips. It sets to a comfortable, semi-matte finish that doesn’t feel drying. The color payoff is excellent, providing full opacity in just one swipe.

I wore this lip crayon throughout the day and it lasted surprisingly well. It didn’t feather or smudge and faded evenly. I only had to touch up once after eating a meal, which is impressive for a non-permanent lip product.

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette

The Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette is a compact palette featuring five shimmer shades. I was drawn to this palette because gold tones are my go-to for creating glamorous eye looks.

Upon swatching the shades, I was immediately impressed by their pigmentation and intensity. The shimmer particles are fine and reflect light beautifully. The texture is smooth and buttery, allowing for effortless application. These shadows can be applied dry for a soft wash of color, or wet for a more intense metallic finish.

In terms of wear, the shadows held up well throughout the day without creasing or fading. I did experience minimal fallout during application, but it was easily brushed away.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer is a cult-favorite lip gloss that claims to flatter all skin tones. I opted for the shade “Fenty Glow”, which is a shimmering rose nude.

One swipe of this lip gloss instantly gives the lips a plump and glossy look. The formula is non-sticky and comfortable to wear. It has a sweet scent that is not overpowering.

The SEPHORA VIB Haul

I need this in this particular shade right in the center here. This beautiful, like violet purple lilac golden dreamy shade just really got me because you guys know I love purple anything. But swatching these and comparing them to other new releases, the shimmers in here just are a little stiff, and I don’t know that this is worth the Splurge unless you don’t have anything like this, and you want a palette that has a couple of really great matte neutrals, and you’re into the bling. Other than that, I don’t think it’s so special that you need to rush out and grab it.

The Hyped Palette

There is a palette that’s super expensive that I think is worth the hype that we’re going to get to, that I haven’t swatched yet, but it’s just off my instinct. I think it’s going to be great, um. So before we dig into the bag, I do want to share with you…

A Fun Packaging

Um, gosh, we’re really starting this video out a little, a little like love, Patrick T. I use Patrick T makeup almost every day of my life. I again, am like a big, like just a huge fan of this brand. Now I really wanted to love this more than I do. I love the packaging, again like hot pink. It’s dreamy, reflective, it’s just like so fun. Just has a total Barbie holiday vibe.

The Disappointing Glitters

Now the glitters in here, with the exception of this Duo, Chrome number up here, are a little subpar only because there’s such a harsh overspray on them that it shocked me that that was the case.

SEPHORA VIB HAUL … What’s Good?

Disappointing Bling

Um, I’ll show you up close this one right here is not as blingy as you would hope for just looking at it fresh. And then this one next door is kind of the same thing, it’s really silvery, it’s really pretty. But it is nothing that warrants the price, in my opinion.

Pink Shades that Fall Short

The pink shades in here didn’t blend that well on me, and I just wasn’t as wowed by them as I wanted to be. I actually went in after using both of these cream shades on my cheeks. They just kind of were a little bit stiff and not giving me the right kind of blend.

A Different Cream Blush

So, I went into a different Cream Blush, my cure-wise, and just kind of had to soften the situation. Maybe it was just the color, I don’t know, but there’s something that just wasn’t working for me with this palette. I recommend Patrick to all the time, it’s very expensive, so if something’s not working, I do feel like I want to share that with you guys as well.

A Surprise Find

Just not it for me: I’m just going to start pulling things out of this bag and we’re going to haul them together. So I was going to save this for a holiday gift guide, but the sale is going on right now. This is 20 bucks and I think it is so super cute and definitely something to pick up while the VIB sale is going on.

Lan Overnight Masks

Lan offers a try me pack of their overnight masks, which are regarded as die-hard favorites. These masks have proven to last a long time, as evidenced by my personal experience. I received one as a 100 Point perk and it has lasted me a considerable amount of time. The small size makes it convenient to carry in my purse, and despite constant use, it still remains intact. A little goes a long way with these masks, and they truly nourish and hydrate the lips like nothing else. The result is a beautiful shine that is hard to beat. Additionally, I recently purchased the Lan sleeping mask in gummy bear, further adding to my collection of these fantastic lip balms. If you’re a lip balm collector, I highly recommend getting this try me set. It’s priced at $20, and when you factor in any sale or discount, you’ll embark on a journey to the most satisfying and hydrated lip situation of your life. The shine it gives is absolutely amazing!

Another hot drop for the holiday season is the Hologram lip gloss. I am absolutely in love with this product. It reflects a beautiful peachy, crystally shine that adds volume and juiciness to the lips. Not only do I adore the gloss itself, but I also appreciate the attention to detail in its design. The purple lid adds an extra touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. This shade is truly phenomenal. If you have the opportunity to get your hands on this lip gloss, please do so. There’s no denying my love for the OG lip gloss from Fenty Beauty. It’s a staple in my collection, and I can’t get enough of it. But recently, I discovered another lip gloss that has taken a spot right next to the Fenty gloss. It’s a new addition, and I must say, I quite like it. The excitement I felt when I got my hands on this gloss was unmatched.

Lately, I’ve fallen into the TikTok rabbit hole. I find myself spending too much time on the app, scrolling through endless makeup videos. But hey, we all have our phases, and right now, TikTok is where it’s at for me.

Sephora VIB Haul: Trying Out Bronzing Drops

These bronzing drops, even though I never like bronzing drops so I dont know what my deal is. Why I bought this, but I bought them anyway. I wanted to try this out because Ive watched one too many get ready with me.

Videos or you know, theyre doing this on the face which honestly I dont really understand. I always end up spilling on myself, like I legitimately will try to mimic thinking like yeah youre, not wasting product. On the back of your hand, this is genius, and then I like get it on my sweatshirt and its like a whole thing, so I dont know who I think I am right now, but Im going to try out the bronzing drops from drunk elephant.

Now was the time it was on the shelf and I thought live dangerously once in a while, so Ill update you if they work for me or not, I dont think they will. I feel like Ive tried them in the past and didnt like them, but sometimes this happens.

Addressing Hormonal Breakouts with Paulish Choice: 2 BHA Liquid Exfoliant

I did purchase the paulish choice: 2 BHA, liquid exfoliant, with salicylic acid. This is such a good exfoliant toner. If you are running into the situation that I recently had after my stressful trip to Vegas, I dont know what the deal was, but I came back and like I started getting hormonal breakouts again around my mouth, and the only thing I can think is that my Hormones definitely got tripped up and I was experiencing like a rise in my cortisol or like something happened to make me like uh like more stressed out or something cuz.

I haven’t had breakouts in the longest time, but they happened and I’m dealing with them, and they’re like the small annoying ones that just scream at you that your hormones are out of whack at the moment. It’s time to chill and balance things out. Maybe it’s time to add something like this into the routine.

So, I grabbed her beauty blender. It’s a must-have staple. Oh, I have more Fenty and this is the one. I just know it. Okay, let me confidently tell you that this is good, even though I have not swatched it. However, one of these shadows caught my eye when James was with me. God bless him. We were out doing something that had nothing to do with Sephora, but I couldn’t resist. I just had to stop on the way home. And guess what? I say the same thing every time. I’m like, “I’ll just be really quick.” And James, being the champ he is, ends up playing a game on his phone or something while I go through the store like a mad woman, swatching everything.

This one palette was my timesaver. I only swatched one shade, and I instantly knew I needed it. It’s great. It’s beautiful. James, however, reminded me that he got me a similar palette for my birthday. I couldn’t locate it online, but he was convinced it was the same one. We had words about it, but let’s just say it didn’t ruin the joy of my Sephora haul.

I don’t know why I’m trying to convince you it’s an expensive palette, if you’re into this line, if you’re into these kind of things, then you get it and if you don’t, you’re probably like, why would you spend over 100 on that, you’ve lost your dang Mind. I can’t help it. I love this line. I just, please, just look at this. Okay. Is that not so gorgeous like the duo? Chromen is probably not picking up through the camera, but I’m going to try.

The one that I swatched was loved and that was it loved loved and it was love at first sight. Just, it is creamy dreamy, Duo, Chrome, smooth, even texture, holy cow. I need to find, I need to put something on my face right now. Okay, this is just, uh, getting my makeup excitement going and you know what’s funny, is I honestly, I’m wearing the Patrick T palette today. Did I even mention that? I put these guys on, they kind of fluffed everywhere, and then I was looking in the mirror and I’m like, I like way like holiday. Overdone, like I don’t know that I’m into this anymore and it’s like, I have amnesia, and I forgot that I just bought this bad boy that is so colorful and sparkly, but the duo chromes transfer, I think, a little bit differently.
