Available in three shades, I personally love the light Aura shade, which may sound funny with its pink tint, but blends out beautifully and provides a touch of coverage. I am wearing it underneath my makeup today and I am not sure how much I love it underneath this Foundation, it’s one of my favorite foundations. Actually, I haven’t tried this exact combo, yet the Laura Mercier one with this so anyway, I feel like I will stick to using it. As my like no makeup makeup, sunscreen that gives coverage product so I’m going to keep this upstairs in my bathroom cuz. I feel like I would rather use it as that, like on its own versus something to Prime my skin for makeup, not to say that it doesn’t work well under makeup, but that’s. Just my favorite way to use it so that’s that one.

Physicians Formula Butter Glow Liquid Bronzer

Then I absolutely fell in love with the Physicians Formula butter glow liquid bronzer this month. This is so versatile, I’ve actually mixed this into like body lotion and applied it all over the body. I’ve used it as an actual cream bronzer all over the face, it has almost like a gel formula. A little bit goes a really long way. You could also mix it into like your base products or your primer as kind of like a bronzing drop situation, but you can see here it Blends out really beautifully and evenly its just its a good little bronz bring product plus its from the drugstore so who Doesn’t love that Ive just been really enjoying it.

It’s nice to have a more affordable liquid bronzer product that’s not super shimmery. The Physicians Formula butter glow liquid bronzer is just the right amount of glow without being over the top. It gives a natural sun-kissed look to the skin and is perfect for achieving that summer glow. The fact that it is from the drugstore makes it even better as it is easily accessible and affordable for everyone. I have been reaching for this bronzer non-stop this month and it has quickly become my go-to product.

I have it all over the skin today, its something thats going to really brighten up the skin. I love the whole like blush. Moving into the under eye area kind of a Vibe, and this kind of helps with that just kind of adding that pink Tint thats, not um too, over the top underneath the eyes. So I wanted to give that a little shout out as well cuz its a formula that Im obsessed with, but the color Ive been using a lot its absolutely beautiful. This Fawn Beauty blush palette 10 out of 10 Im wearing it today.

The Power of Pigmentation – A Little Goes a Long Way

A little goes a very long way like I literally Ill show you what I did pigment wise, because it is so pigmented. I literally took my brush and I was like the lightest little Taps and it goes such a long way. Im really trying not to overdo it, because its easy to actually overdo on my skin tone, with this cuz, its so pigmented, but a little goes along long way. I love how you get four different, pink shades in here theyre, so beautiful you have one thats, more cool toned, one thats, more hot, pink weve got like a more peachy and like a true, pink right here, its so beautiful.

I love Fawn Beauty. I think Katie Fawn is just the sweetest ever so I was really excited to see that she launched some blush products, because she only really had lip products before that so really happy to see her expanding her makeup line.

Natasha Denona Nude Palette: My Everyday Favorite

I recently purchased the Pat McGrath Eyes Shadow palette after watching a video on it, and I also received it as a PR package. However, surprisingly, I have been reaching for the Natasha Denona Nude Palette more often. Although I have only used the Pat McGrath palette once in the video, I find that the Natasha Denona palette fits better into my daily makeup routine.

The formula of the Natasha Denona eyeshadows is outstanding, and this particular palette has become an instant favorite. I am currently wearing it on my eyes, and it is perfect for both bridal and everyday looks. The palette offers a beautiful combination of matte and shimmer shades, along with some stunning toppers. The tones and undertones are perfectly suited for everyday wear, as well as special occasions. It is nearly impossible to go wrong with this palette, and I am truly loving it. Not to mention, the packaging is absolutely beautiful. It’s no wonder so many people are fans of this palette.

Obsessed with Lip Liners

In addition to the eyeshadow palette, let’s talk about some lip products. I have discovered two drugstore lip liners that have become my new obsession. Looking at them now, I realize they may be quite similar in color, but I have not yet swatched them side by side to confirm. Nevertheless, I have been using both of these lip liners religiously.

Swatching and Comparing Lip Products

Now that I have both lip liners in front of me, I can see that they are indeed very similar in color. However, upon swatching them side by side, I can still spot some subtle differences. One of the lip liners has a slightly warmer undertone, while the other is a touch cooler. Nonetheless, both shades are beautiful and complement a variety of lipsticks.

Rimmel Cappuccino Lip Liner

The Rimmel Cappuccino Lip Liner is my absolute favorite makeup item from August 2023. This lip liner is simply stunning, with its beautiful brown shade that has a hint of mauve. When blended out, it contours and shapes the lips perfectly. The brown color is the dominant shade, but the subtle touch of mauve adds an extra level of depth to the overall look. I cannot get enough of this lip liner!

Nyx Suede Matte Lip Liner in Maon

The second lip liner on my list is the Nyx Suede Matte Lip Liner in the shade Maon. Although this one is lighter, it still carries the same vibe as the Rimmel lip liner. It amazes me how I can fall in love with two lip liners that appear so similar. But here’s the thing, the Maon shade is a bit brighter, yet you can still achieve the same stunning effect. I have to admit, I’m a bit obsessed with shade and lip liners right now, and these two are definitely my top favorites.

Lisa alrd’s Velvetine Liquid Lip Color

Lisa alrd has once again impressed me with her Velvetine Liquid Lip Color. While I received several shades, I’ve only tried the Rain color so far, and let me tell you, it is absolutely stunning. I often opt for liquid lipsticks because of their longevity, and wearing a bit of color adds that extra oomph to my look. The Velvetine Liquid Lip Color delivers on both fronts – it lasts for hours and provides a gorgeous pop of color that I can’t get enough of.

All in all, these lip liners and liquid lip color have truly captured my heart this August. The Rimmel Cappuccino Lip Liner and Nyx Maon Lip Liner are both fantastic in their own ways, offering different shades and blending capabilities. And Lisa alrd’s Velvetine Liquid Lip Color is the cherry on top, providing long-lasting color that elevates any makeup look. I can’t wait to continue using and exploring these amazing products!

If I’m doing more of a nude lip, I don’t always reach for liquid lipsticks. However, this month I discovered a gorgeous color that I just had to share. I actually used this lipstick in a video, which you can find linked below. The formula is absolutely amazing – it can be blended out for a more sheer look, or built up for a bold, opaque finish. Not only is it long-lasting, but it’s also incredibly comfortable to wear. And let’s not forget about the packaging – it’s so pretty! Lisa, the creator of this lipstick, can truly do no wrong in my eyes. Her brand is simply stunning.

High Shine Lip Glosses

Aside from the liquid lipstick, I also fell in love with two glosses this month. One of them is the Morphe Drip Glass Glazed High Shine Lip Gloss in the shade “Polished Peach.” This is what I have been wearing all over my lips. I simply outline my lips with a NYX lip liner and then fill them in with this gorgeous gloss. Although it’s described as “polished peach,” I find it to be more on the pink side. It’s not too warm, though – it falls right in the middle, a lovely neutral peachy-pink. This gloss isn’t sticky at all, it’s just really pretty.

The other gloss I purchased is the Dior Lip Maximizer in the shade “Opal.” This gloss is simply divine.

I recently purchased a makeup product by Kelly, Anne that I initially wouldn’t have picked up. It has a clear base, which is not something I usually go for. However, what caught my attention was the stunning iridescent golden and purple shift it had. The true beauty of this product is difficult to capture on my hand; it is something that needs to be experienced in person. When I applied it to my lips, it added a touch of magic and a hint of cool tones with a frosted look that was surprisingly wearable. Despite appearing dull in the tube, once swatched or applied, it transforms into something truly beautiful.

A Surprising Drugstore Gem – Physicians Formula Brow Gel

As someone who has primarily used high-end brow gels, I was shocked to discover a drugstore brow gel that I absolutely love. In my experience, not all drugstore brow gels hold my brows the way I want them to. However, the Physicians Formula Butter Brazilian Brow Lift Brow Gel has exceeded my expectations. It is comparable to the high-end Patrick T. brow gel, with a slightly thinner formula. The Perfect Brow Look: Lamination Brow Gel

Let me show you, so you really do get the same feel and same effect hold on; the wands themselves are a different size, but you can see they’re literally the same exact brush head, which is crazy um. So you get the exact same kind of lamination brow effect these lamination brow products are definitely not for the faint of heart they’re going to feel a little more glued to your head.

A Super Laminated Look Without the Crust

If you’re not into that, you might not like this formula, but if you want that, if you want like that, super laminated look um without it going like crusty this. I haven’t noticed this getting like flaky. However, with these products like in general, the nature of these lamination brow gels, you really don’t want to overdo it like one swipe and work on one brow at a time once it dries, you don’t want to go back in, otherwise, it can kind of build up. So just a tip, but I haven’t noticed any like buildup with this product and I do layer it in my brows quite a bit so wanted to mention this as well, ‘cuz it’s so good, plus it’s from the drugstore who doesn’t love that wait hold on.

Multi-Functional Concealer: Tower 28 to the Rescue

I was going to put this in my favorites video because this is also a new try, but I’ve been wearing it. So much that I wanted to mention it so that’s the Tower 28 concealer. I love how this looks under the eyes you guys, plus all over the face, like almost as a foundation.

During the month of August 2023, I had the opportunity to try out the much-talked-about strawberry girl makeup. To my surprise, it blended out flawlessly all over my face, providing the coverage I desired.
