Palette with cool and warm tones
I could have used this as the base for this look and just popped that green Shimmer on the center, it’s a gorgeous palette, and not only do you get cool tones and warm tones. You also get a couple cream eyeshadows as well that’s great for layering cream eyeshadows underneath a shimmer Shadow will make them pop even more, and in this palette you get a black and a brown which are pretty much the most used shades in anyone’s makeup routine.
Layering cream eyeliner and matte eyeshadow
What I like to do is layer the two because I do have very oily skin and oily eyelids. I do get quite a bit of smudging of my eyeliner, so in addition to using an eyeshadow primer, which is a must if you have oily lids, I do like to lay down a little cream eyeliner first and then go in with a corresponding matte eyeshadow to set it. It lasts all day long – and I love that Patrick adds the plastic over the cream products so that they do not dry out quickly.

Now, I want to move on to a hair care product. This is new from Olex. It is their volumizing blow dry Mist. It says here it is a protective volumizer that shields from heat and humidity for all hair types. I’ve been using this every single time I blow dry my hair. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and I am crazy about it.

What I do first before I start blow drying my hair is I comb it out, and then I apply a little bit of a smoothing cream. This helps to detangle my hair and adds a layer of protection from the heat. The Olex volumizing blow dry Mist is then sprayed all over my hair, focusing on the roots for added volume.
