There are two specific products that I want to talk about – the Denessa Myrix Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint and The Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint.
In 2022, I wasn’t a fan of skin tints because they appeared heavy on my skin and emphasized my pores. However, something changed in 2023. Brands really stepped up their game and improved their skin tinted moisturizers. These new formulas are not as heavy, oily, or pore-emphasizing as before. They are also infused with skincare elements, which was a key trend in 2022 but often resulted in oily skin. The skin tints of 2023 managed to strike the perfect balance.
The Denessa Myrix Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint feels like butter when applied. It is incredibly lightweight and provides a light coverage that still imparts a beautiful touch of color. It blends seamlessly into the skin, giving it a healthy glow.

Hourglass Hydrating Skin Tint
I can say the exact same sentiments in fact: I’m going to talk about The Hourglass hydrating skin tint, also like butter, really easy and quick to apply, very hydrating, just evens everything out and then again, when you apply the concealer, you know on parts that maybe have a little bit more discoloration and honestly, you really can’t tell that you have a skin tint. These have been great for living in Miami because I’ve been sweaty. These don’t feel or look disgusting on my skin. When I get sweaty and perspire, the difference is hourglass. Has the littlest bit amount more of coverage? So if you’re focused on coverage, hourglass is a skin tint, but it will give you, I would say, not quite medium, but almost their coverage Danessa definitely stands on the lighter side. However, the price on these are different. At the end of the day, the Dyx is cheaper. So if you’re worried about cost, I would go with the Damy, but I do prefer The Hourglass, but they’re like like this. This is hourglass, if even that, so the best skintint I’ve been going back and forth on loving these, they’re amazing, well, not on loving them, but back and forth, of giving my love to these. They’re so good.
